After Calderone complained about his face being used as a punching bag, Krause pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery and misconduct in public office. On the 5th, Krause learned his fate – a year and a half behind bars. Krause has no history of violence and tearfully apologized to Calderone, Calderone’s family and police officers in general, but the judge felt that the abuse of power was too great to ignore. Calderone did not speak with reporters after the verdict, but his attorney said that his client felt the sentence was a fair one.

The woman said Hunt was angry, and when she heard the baby made a strange noise she knew she was hurt and took the baby from him. The woman also said she witnessed Hunt on a prior occasion become angry and twist their daughter’s leg during a diaper change because the little girl was moving and jerked her leg. Hunt admitted to an officer that he grabbed his daughter around her chest area sometime in January. He also said he grabbed and jerked his daughter’s legs a few weeks ago and when they became swollen he applied ice to reduce the swelling, but it didn’t do any good. That was when they decided to take the child to the hospital. Hunt denied hitting his girlfriend, but he admitted to poking her in the chest a couple of times. Ryan Hunt was arrested and charged with battery and aggravated child abuse. Authorities also discovered Hunt had a federal warrant for being a deserter from the U.S. Navy. He was taken into custody. Hunt was supposed to leave on a ship in December, but instead went home to visit his baby and never returned. He remains in jail without bond. As of late Tuesday the baby was in foster care and expected to be fine medically. DCF has prior involvement with the woman. In the fall of 2009 while she was pregnant, DCF officials said the woman had children removed from her care and not returned. Whether these were her children or relatives is unknown.

Rodriquez wasn’t finished, however. He had also gathered a bunch of clothes, placed them against the house and set them on fire. Police believe it was a failed attempt to set the house on fire. When police arrived on the scene, they found Rodriguez sitting in the yard. After being arrested, he kicked out a window to a patrol car. As I type this, reports are that he has been charged with two counts of arson and one complaint of destroying police property. No doubt attempted murder charges are next.

People that do shit like this…I don’t know, man. I mean should we really waste time with them? Considering the circumstances and the victim, this is one of those cases where I think courtrooms should come equipped with a trap door in front of the judge. They would stand the accused on top of it and as the judge read through the complaint, the evidence, the confession, etc. He would just look up over his glasses and say “guilty” as he pressed a red button – dropping the accused into a pit of gasoline and rabid otters. After about 15 minutes or so, drop a match. Confetti and streamers would then fall from the ceiling as a band played “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, Goooood Bye!”

I know, my idea needs work…fire codes, smoke ventilation, animal handlers, getting a decent band…but it’s completely do-able.

The makeshift bed was the only thing inside the room that smelled heavy with urine. The boy, who weighed a mere 38 pounds, was dressed in a t-shirt, shorts, and a diaper. His body and face were covered with bruises. After the boy was taken to the hospital, it was determined that his body temperature was 92 degrees, which indicated he was in hypothermia due to malnutrition. It was learned that his stepmother, 27-year-old Jaime B. Day, deprived the boy of food and would not allow him to eat with the family but instead forced him to watch the family eat. It was also learned that the boy was so hungry at times he ate his own feces and drank his own urine just to survive.  As if that were not enough torture, a second-degree burn was found on the boy’s back that was caused by his stepmother placing a heated sock filled with rice on his back. Jaime Day was charged with 25 counts of cruelty to a juvenile and 2 counts of 2nd degree cruelty to a juvenile with her bond set at $5.5 million. The boy’s worthless father, 30-year old Murry Dalton Day, is being charged with 5 counts of cruelty to a juvenile and 1 counts of 2nd degree cruelty to a juvenile. A judge set his bond at $2 million, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.  He was expected to turn himself in yesterday.

Detectives were able to determine the boy had been being abused since late last year. The two other boys in the home, a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old, were both Jaime Day’s biological children, the eldest adopted by Murry. Neither child appeared to have been abused but were removed from the home as well. And where was the abused boy’s biological mother, you ask? Six years ago, Murry Day was given custody of the boy after his mother’s parental rights were terminated when it was determined that physical abuse had occurred. The investigation is continuing with more arrests possible. No child should ever have to suffer like this but until fathers like Murry grow some balls, as well as a heart, and more people like the anonymous caller step up and report something they suspect is wrong, I know this will not be the last horrific child abuse story we hear about. I am just glad this one came with a much better ending.

After a search with police dogs, her husband of eight months was found hiding behind a fence. Eric Shorts, 43, was charged with aggravated battery, obstructing an officer without violence, violation of pretrial release, and domestic battery.  He suffered dog bites to his left arm and right thigh and is in jail on $9,500 bail. Eric Shorts also had two warrants for his arrest for violation of pretrial release and failure to appear. I wish the dog had bitten his balls off as well.

I still remember last Mother’s Day when I was at the theater watching a film and some lady kept talking on her cell phone. I turned to her and said, “Look you stupid bitch, I paid good money to see this movie and I do not particularly like hearing you jabbing on the phone all the way through it!” My mom was pretty upset with me talking to her that way, but hey it was “Star Trek” for God’s sake.

After a thorough search of the prison, the newborn’s bloody body was found in a trash can, buried beneath a pile of paper towels. The baby girl had been born alive and was seemingly healthy before Ashley intentionally shoved toilet paper down her throat.

Prison officials stated that her pregnant belly was well concealed behind baggy clothing and at no point during the squishing out process, not even once, did Ashley call for assistance. She’s no stranger to the whole birthin’ thing, she has a 2-year-old daughter. What I don’t understand about these cases is this: How does one pop out a living human being without even the smallest grunt or peep? When I was in labor, the whole damn hospital was well aware of it. Ashley, 20, is being held on charges of first-degree murder and concealing the birth of an infant. Bail has been set at a hefty $3 million.

Authorities don’t know who fathered the child – Ashley is married, but in the final stages of divorce. A couple of news sources say the man she was visiting in jail was her boyfriend, but he can’t be the father because he’s been incarcerated for almost 11 months and conjugal visits aren’t allowed at that correctional facility.

Wiant had requested his weekend jail sentences be postponed until he graduated from high school this May.  Now, he says he’ll go ahead and start serving them, as long as he doesn’t have to serve the weekend of April 2 when Hank Jr. is in concert!  Yes, you heard right, demonites …. Wiant’s redneck girlfriend already spent a lot of money on tickets to see Hank Jr.!  Apparently, the judge is a Bocephus fan, too, since he had no problem giving the asswipe the weekend off to party.

Obviously, there are people WAAAAAY more forgiving than me.  The puppy’s owners said they didn’t want to see Wiant’s life ruined because, we’ve all done stupid things.  Yeah, next time, it might only be a toddler he aims his crossbow at.  The judge also ordered a psychiatric evaluation of Wiant, the results of which are sealed.  Let’s hope he doesn’t wet the bed and set fires!!

Spike is now being treated at the ASPCA hospital and Aguilar was arrested for aggravated animal cruelty and criminal possession of a weapon. Of course, the heartless cunt did not admit to the abuse until she was confronted with the video of the crime. I swear I will never understand why some people have pets, or children for that matter, when they obviously do not possess the patience and love it takes to care for them. Seriously, why don’t they just buy a fucking pet rock. And FYI Aguilar, if I had been there to witness that psychopathic tirade of yours on little Spike, you would have been arrested with that snow shovel shoved up your ass and spent the next day shitting out your teeth!

In an interview with a sheriff’s deputy, Gatlin admitted she was heavily involved with drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and marijuana. She said the baby’s father was abusive, but had committed suicide in September. Gatlin admitted that she initially lied to hospital officials about someone else possibly drugging the baby, because she wanted “to take the focus off herself.” Gatlin gave a taped confession on Nov. 16 and admitted to giving her baby Percocet because the baby was “cranky as hell,” and would not sleep. So, she thought since Percocet made her sleepy, it would make the baby go to sleep too. Which it almost did. Permanently.

Gatlin was charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance to a person under 18, a class A felony; third-degree assault of a child, a class C felony; and second-degree criminal mistreatment, also a class C felony. Prosecutors said the child abuse charges were not more severe because Gatlin said she didn’t mean to hurt her baby. Gatlin is out of custody on condition that she does not have contact with her daughter or any minor children. The baby, who turned 1 on Jan. 14, was released from the hospital in late October and placed in the custody of a relative.

The undercover officer met with Floyd last week in a visiting room and recorded the meeting where Floyd offered $15,000 cash with $7,000 of it in advance. Floyd said he did not care if the family found out if he was the one behind the killings, but asked for the children’s deaths to be “easy.” Floyd also said that the parents should be “shot in the face.” Floyd admitted his guilt in a written statement when questioned and was ordered to be held without bail on the new charges. I say bring back the guillotine!
