Elderly Man Left Home Alone, Bound With Duct Tape, While Son Worked

Hanover, MA – Don’t know what to do with your pesky old father while you go out and earn a living? Can’t afford to stick him in a home? Two words: Duct. Tape. That’s right, just duct tape the old dude to a chair and you bought yourself hours of freedom, baby. You’re probably saying to yourself, “Sounds great! But what’s the catch?” Well, some people won’t appreciate your inventiveness and ability to think out of the box, and you may just find yourself in a spot of legal trouble…kinda like John Hallinan. He’s accused of binding his 93-year-old father in duct tape and leaving him home alone to roll around in his own shit all day. Deputies showed up at the home Hallinan shares with his father after receiving a tip from a group of ladies who regularly cleaned the home. They found the elderly man laying on the kitchen floor wearing nothing but duct tape, a dirty t-shirt, and a shit filled diaper. Police said the man was near death. He was extremely thin, dehydrated, incoherent, very dirty, and covered in bruises and sores. Hallinan, 68, reportedly told police he bound his father with tape so he could work. He admits that he hasn’t had his father seen by a doctor in more than a year. Hell, some of the neighbors didn’t even know the old guy lived there. Hallinan has been charged with assault and battery on a person over 60 and remains jailed without bail. I understand Hallinan’s need to work, really. I also realize that finding inexpensive, quality care can be quite difficult, but damn…I would think the man could have come up with an arrangement that’s a tad more humane. As of Wednesday, Hallinan’s father was listed in fair condition at South Shore Hospital.

Andrew Jondle, 20, Used A Pipe And Scythe To Murder His Parents

Dallas, OR - Andrew Jondle set out on his scooter Monday evening with murder on his mind – the 20-year-old was fixin’ to kill his parents, 61-year-old David Jondle, and 58-year-old Marilyn Jondle. When David opened the garage door to greet his son that night, Andrew repeatedly bashed him in the head with a metal pipe before stabbing him a few times with a scythe. Andrew’s mother heard the commotion in the garage and popped her head out to investigate. She, too, was beaten with a pipe. Their bodies were found the next morning by a delivery man. “I just couldn’t imagine Andrew doing something like this,” said Nate Rafn, a family friend. “In the limited times I saw him he wasn’t violent at all – he didn’t seem to be angry or troubled in any way. He just seemed to be a normal kid.” Neither drugs nor alcohol was involved in the killings, just pure rage. Why so much rage from a normally pleasant person? Police believe it may stem from the fact that the Jondles didn’t approve of the relationship between their youngest child and his much older girlfriend. That, and Andrew needed some cash and his parents refused to give it to him. Andrew told investigators he and his hambeast girlfriend, 46-year-old Cindy Lou Beck, had begun hatching the plot last Saturday.

Cindy Lou assumed that if David and Marilyn were out of the picture, Andrew would inherit Abundant Life Farm – a 210-acre plot where the Jondles have been raising poultry, pigs, cattle and sheep since 2000. Andrew called the hambeast the night of the murder, and said he was waiting for his parents to fall asleep. Cindy Lou told Andrew he could come back home, or wait it out and kill them – after all, according to Cindy Lou, they “had to be killed at some point in time.” And so they were. After Andrew bludgeoned his parents to death, he robbed them of their credit cards, cash and jewelry. He was hoping to scrounge up about $500 to pay back rent on the apartment he shared with Cindy. Authorities also believe Andrew was trying to scrape money together to help Cindy Lou get her kids out of foster care. At this point, it is unknown exactly why her children weren’t in her custody.

Andrew Jondle has been charged with two counts of aggravated murder, two counts murder and two counts of burglary. He’s being held without bail. Cindy Lou Beck has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of hindering prosecution. Her bail was set at $1 million.

Man, 66, Accused Of Threatening 11-Year-Old Boy With Stun Gun

Hollywood, FL - Jose Guerrero Sr., 66, has been charged with felony child abuse after he allegedly threatened an 11-year-old boy with a stun gun. According to police, Guerrero, a former pastor, believes the victim has been bullying his child at school for quite some time, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. He reportedly approached the fifth-grader after school on Tuesday, slammed him up against a fence, whipped out his stun gun and asked, “Do you want some of this?” Several students witnessed the incident and quickly informed an officer who was at the school assisting with dismissal. Guerrero was located nearby and taken into custody. In his possession at the time of his arrest, a stun gun. Police say that though the stun gun was activated, it did not go off and the child was not injured. Guerrero has already been released from jail on $500 bail.

Pregnant Woman Stabs Boyfriend’s Wife With Screwdriver

Wichita, KS – Police say a 45-year-old woman was repeatedly stabbed with a screwdriver after catching her husband and his pregnant girlfriend together at a Sonic Drive-In restaurant early Thursday morning. The woman’s 42-year-old husband was hanging out with his preggo 20-year-old girlfriend when the wife approached the car and confronted the duo about their ‘relationship.’ At some point during the confrontation, the younger woman reportedly grabbed ahold of a screwdriver and proceeded to poke a few holes in the wife’s head – eight of ‘em. Police say the victim’s injuries aren’t serious, but I’m thinking she may not agree with that. The stabby mistress was taken into custody and remains caged at the Sedgwick County Jail. Personally, I wouldn’t have bothered fighting for the cheating asshole – it’s much easier, not to mention more satisfying, to change the locks, set fire to his shit and drain his bank account.

Hammered Houdini Hides Handcuffs In Her Hoo-Ha

Atascadero, CA - An unnamed 51-year-old woman was busted for DUI last Thursday night after she slammed her vehicle into her own garage. An additional charge of willful cruelty to a child was thrown on because her 11-year-old son was reportedly standing in the garage at the time. Uninjured, the child called 911 and tattled on the inebriated imbecile. And then, well…then it got a little weird. The woman was cuffed and placed in the backseat of a patrol car. As the officers were finishing up their business, they looked over and saw the woman knocking on the rear window, sans handcuffs. They pulled the woman out of the patrol car, and after a brief struggle, were able to get a second pair of handcuffs on her. But what the hell happened to the first set? Even after a routine friskin’ at the county jail and a thorough search of the patrol car, officers still came up empty handed. Perplexed, deputies questioned the woman in her cell. It was then that the woman reportedly reached in and removed said handcuffs FROM HER VAGINA. One has to wonder what else that woman has stored up in there. Police say when the cuffs were *shudder* recovered, they were still double-locked. Sooo, in addition to the DUI and the willful cruelty to a child charge, she’s also looking at a charge of petty theft. Heh.

Platte City, MO – George Cook, a member of the Platte City Board of Alderman, has been charged with second-degree sexual misconduct after he allegedly whipped out his little Colonel and exposed himself “under circumstances he knew would likely cause affront or alarm.” According to police, the victim told officers Cook, an acquaintance of hers, offered her a ride home from work on the evening of August 19. During the drive, the conversation turned sexual and Cook reportedly asked the woman if she was sexually satisfied at home. Whether she responded to the question is unknown. After a quick stop at a friend’s house, the woman returned to Cook’s truck, where he allegedly asked her, “Would this satisfy you?“ The woman said she looked down to see Cook’s peener resting in his hand. The woman said Cook then asked her if she wanted him to touch her vagina. Nothing like getting right to the fucking point, huh? But, alas, she turned him down cold. “I would appreciate it if you would pull up your pants,” she said. “I don’t want to have sex with you. I don’t want to do anything with you. I just want to get home.” The woman told police Cook eventually tucked his chubby back into his pants and drove her home. She reported the incident two hours later. Cook, 58, said he doesn’t think he exposed himself, but if she said he did it, then it must have happened – if it did happen, it was a mistake. If convicted on the charges, he faces up to six months in jail and a $500 fine.

Young Boy Killed In Parking Lot After Man Reverses Into Him Twice

BUFFALO, N.Y. A horrible scene being described outside a New York Tops store. Witnesses say a man parked in a handicapped space hit a car parked in front of him before speeding in reverse through a guardrail, pinning 8-year-old Richard Alexander Colon against a wall. The boy and his grandfather had just exited the store holding hands but the older man was not able to pull his grandson out of harms way. The strange thing is that the report I linked to says that the driver, a 50-year-old man, reversed into the boy twice before trying to leave the scene. People on the scene stopped him from doing so. “He was thinking of driving. I stood next to him, pushed him and put the car in park and then I ripped off his seatbelt,” said Timothy Mercedes. Others described seeing lots of blood and “leg and bones hanging out.” The boy was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver was taken into custody, but I’m betting this accident is the result of a medical condition and not an intentional act.

Bethlehem, PA – Donald Fehr, age unknown, was sitting on his front porch in his tighty whities in the predawn hours of August 17, when a young neighbor approached him and suggested that he put some clothes on. See, the young man’s girlfriend was on her way over and he felt Fehr was “being disrespectful” by sitting out there in his draws. When Fehr refused to clothe himself, the young man, identified as 19-year-old Hector Morales Jr., said, “There’s gonna be trouble.“ And dammit, he meant it. Police say Morales beat the ever lovin’ shit out of Fehr with a wiffle bat. He beat the man so severely, the plastic bat broke in two. That didn’t stop Morales, he continued the beating with his fists. He reportedly beat Fehr until the man collapsed in a puddle of his own blood. Fehr was left with several missing teeth, a skull fracture and broken jaw. On August 23, Morales was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault. Bail has been set at $35,000.

Woman Shot To Death By Ex Shortly After Changing Her Facebook Relationship Status

Maysville, N.C. – Shortly after changing her Facebook relationship status to “engaged” a woman was shot to death by her roommate. Karen Ann Rooney, 63 and Peter Terrance Moonan, 62 were not married but had been in a 16 year relationship and purchased their home together in 2002. The couple broke up earlier this year and since that time, Rooney had met another man, William Jenkins, and the pair had gotten engaged. Police feel that when Rooney changed her relationship status on Facebook to reflect that fact, Moonan flipped. He used a .357 handgun to shoot her twice before turning the gun on himself. The pair were found by a neighbor on Saturday. While I joined in on the Facebook angle with the title of this article, the truth is that it really had nothing to do with this. It’s not like Moonan didn’t know she had met a man and gotten engaged. And on the slim chance he did not know, he would have found out eventually without Facebook and this story would probably have still played out like it did. Even so, this is a good time to mention that if you do use Facebook, you really should check your privacy settings. If you already do, periodically check them again. Facebook loves to add new features that may reveal information about you that you were not even aware of, like that “Here Now” thing.

Woman Attacks Ex-Boyfriend With Icepick In Church Parking Lot

YORBA LINDA, California – A 48-year-old man got a nasty surprise after leaving the Messiah Lutheran Church Monday night. As he began pulling out of the parking lot his ex-girlfriend, 47-year-old Elizabeth Cuevas Villanueva, jumped up from the backseat and proceeded to stab him multiple times in the head and shoulder with an icepick. This caused the victim to drive his car into a tree before escaping from the vehicle. Villanueva also got out of the car and ran from the scene but was picked up later at a nearby intersection. The man was taken to the hospital suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, treated and released while probably wondering why his ex couldn’t have just got stuck in his chimney like that other guy. Reports state the couple were living together although they had broken up four months ago. Villanueva is currently living in jail on a $500,000 bail, charged with suspicion of attempted murder, domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a weapon.

Kid Tells Grandma To Shut Up – Kid Gets Cut

Apple Valley, MN – Parbati Kalicharan ain’t about to take any lip from some smart-mouthed kid. When her 12-year-old granddaughter supposedly told her to “shut up,” Grandma K came unhinged. The girl was putting a puzzle together on the kitchen table when she got all lippy. This angered grandma, who was in the kitchen, where the knives and other pointy objects are stored. She walked over and grabbed the puzzle box lid, ripped it up and threw it away. The distraught child begged her grandmother to allow her to have the box back, she needed it so she could see the picture and finish the puzzle. Grandma just ripped it up into smaller pieces. She then swiped all the puzzle pieces and threw them in the trash, too. The girl said something like, “I don’t like you,” and crawled under the kitchen table. When she came out from underneath the table, grandma reportedly started chasing her around with a knife. Somehow, the girl ended up with a small gash inside one of her ears. Parbati didn’t deny having the knife in her hand as she chased the child, but claimed she was holding it by the blade, showing the handle to the girl while threatening to hit her with it. She denied cutting the child, and police say the child’s injury didn’t appear to be serious. Parbati was booked into jail on Saturday, charged with felony assault. She made bail on Monday and was released.

Police: Baby Found Covered In Dried Feces, Gagged With Used Wipe

Albuquerque, NM – When Michelle Charley failed to show up at school to collect her daughter and nephews Tuesday afternoon, school officials called the safe house where Charley and the children had been staying. Staffers at the safe house were able to reach Charley, but she told them she was too drunk to go anywhere. Knowing the woman had a 6-month-old son, social workers paid a visit to the woman’s apartment to check on the infant. When they couldn’t make contact with her, the police were called. When Officers Joey Tosta and Nick Wheeler arrived at the apartment, they found Charley in the bedroom, highly intoxicated, with a man she had met at a gas station earlier that day. Her infant was reportedly laying on the bed, covered from head to toe in flaky, crusty dried shit. According to authorities, shit had leaked out of the child’s diaper. He had it on his back and stomach, up and down his legs, and in the folds of his neck. The poor kid even had shit on the inside and outside of his eyelids. It also appeared as if he had been gagged with a soiled diaper wipe. Tosta and Wheeler took a couple of cell phone pics as evidence before running a bath for the baby boy. Charley was arrested and charged with one count of child abuse. Bond was set at $15,000. And this isn’t the first time Charley has been drunk and negligent.

Back in ’07, her then 2-year-old daughter was found sitting in front of a police station after she had wandered away from home. Charley admitted she’d been drinking when her daughter disappeared. She was convicted of child abuse and her daughter was taken away, but was eventually returned. She was still on probation for that incident when she was arrested for this one. Police also say she has custody of a niece and nephew – all four children were removed from the home and placed in state custody for the time being. Because Charley is Native American, it will be up to the tribe to decide whether she will regain custody of her kids. Charley, 31, has a criminal background that includes four misdemeanor and two felony convictions.

Daytona Beach, FL – Police say a woman arrived in Florida from North Carolina at about 8:00 Tuesday evening and had just checked into her motel room when she struck up a conversation with man handing out fliers for a nearby pizza restaurant. As the conversation continued, the woman revealed her room number to the seemingly harmless flier hander-outer. Little did she know she’d soon be seeing him again real soon – under extremely unpleasant circumstances. At about 3:00 the next morning, the woman heard a noise coming from the area of her second-floor balcony. She placed the chain on the door leading to the balcony and opened it up a crack and guess who she saw? A man in big white sunglasses, the flier hander-outer, John Garcia. He had obviously spent a little time planning the attack, he reportedly brought a ladder with him to gain access to her balcony. Police say Garcia busted through the door, threw the woman on the bed and commenced to ripping off her clothes, threatening her with a knife the whole time. Welcome to Florida!! The woman fought back, and though she ended up with a busted lip from a well placed punch, she wasn’t raped. Police believe Garcia got spooked with all the screaming and fighting, ripped the phone out of the wall and fled. When police heard the physical description of the assailant, they knew exactly who to look for – the big white novelty sunglasses gave him away. Garcia was in custody within 45 minutes. The 25-year-old has been booked on charges of home invasion robbery and attempted sexual battery.

Man Axed In Apparent Road Rage Incident

Warwick, RI – Nothing ruins an already painful commute quite like an axing, am I right? I think Joseph Gallagher would agree – he was recently axed by two men, possibly because he was driving too slow. Details are a bit sketchy, but police say Gallagher was attacked by the axe wielding duo during his commute Tuesday afternoon. The father of three was reportedly hit on the head, leg and thigh before the alleged attackers got back into their vehicle and drove off. Gallagher managed to call 911 and drive himself home before collapsing on his neighbor’s front porch. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition with non-life threatening injuries. In the meantime, authorities are on the lookout for the two suspects. Police say they were driving a red 2000 Hyundai Elantra with Rhode Island tag HJ 396. Anyone with information is asked to call the Warwick Police Department.

Lawrence Sitler Won’t Tolerate A Screaming Toddler

Albuquerque, NM - When Cheri Moore’s cranky toddler started making a fuss on a city bus last Tuesday, a fellow passenger expressed his displeasure with the tot by asking Cheri to shut the kid up – the annoyed passenger had a headache. To avoid a confrontation with the annoyed passenger, Cheri and her friends exited the bus with the screaming 2-year-old a few stops ahead of their intended destination. Problem solved, right? Wrong. The annoyed passenger, Lawrence Sitler, still wasn’t satisfied. He followed the woman and her friends off the bus and, for one reason or another, confronted Cheri’s friend, Andrew Montaño. According to police, Sitler placed a knife against Montaño’s neck before slicing him on the arm. After slicing the dude’s arm, Sitler took off running. Witnesses to the attack followed after him while keeping 911 dispatchers informed of his location. Police eventually caught up with 46-year-old Sitler and booked him on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery and child endangerment because he got stabby in front of the toddler.
