Patricia Becht’s Fatal Family Plans

St. Paul, Minnesota Unless you live under a rock with no television, radio, get no newspapers, etc. you’ve heard about the “King of Pop’s” timely demise. (oops, damn typos) The media’s coverage of crying/fainting hoards of people flocking to and fro to get a glimpse of the glitterati browsing for the appropriate clothing to wear, or perhaps the brothers shopping for one white sequined glove to carry his final chariot, has been enough to make me want to break my TV. The talk of a memorial service at the Neverland Ranch brought that 4 syllable location back into the forefront and young children asking their parents, “What’s Neverland?” And if any parents were like Patricia Becht, they tried to give a sense of peace while plotting the murder of their children at that very location.

Patricia Becht’s 16 year-old daughter attempted to phone her mother repeatedly to no avail but did make contact with Patricia’s niece and asked her to run by their home to check on her mother and 2 younger siblings. Upon arriving, the doors were locked and the niece gained entrance through an opened window. Even though Patricia had allegedly told her niece a few weeks prior that she was going to lock her children in the garage to kill them, I imagine her discovery left the next moments frozen in time. Michael, 10 and autistic was unconscious, Erica (11) was semiconscious, and their poor sick mommy Patricia was puking in the bathroom. And then the suicide note was found.

The suicide note, penned for her 16 year-old to discover along with the dead bodies of her mother, brother, and sister, said something to the order of, sorry – can’t take you with us…but we’ll be at peace and ‘happy to be gone’. Nice. I’m not real sure how Patricia thought this wouldn’t totally fuck her daughter up for life but at least she’s still around to think about that every day for the rest of hers…and I hope it eats her alive. She obviously failed the two children she promised to take with her as well. She had discussed the perfect place to die: Neverland Ranch. She explained to them “Neverland was a place for kids to go – similar to heaven.” According to an interview conducted with Patricia, she discussed going to Neverland with her children as part of their suicide plan.

Little Michael was found dead in his home, Erica was rushed to the hospital where she is expected to recover. Neighbors witnessing the ugly turn of events said of Patricia, “They didn’t rush her off like they did the daughter.” According to the criminal complaint, Patricia gave each child 10 tablets of Seroquel, a medication used to treat bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. She dosed herself with 25 tablets of mommy’s little helper. (According to the manufacturer’s literature, Seroquel fatal overdoses are very rare) It’s sweet Patricia assisted in making Michael another statistic.

After interviewing Patricia Becht via her hospital visit, enough evidence was gleaned from her personal account (and evidence of pill bottles through the house) that authorities planned a welcome home party upon her release. I love it when police protect and serve. She was charged Friday with first-degree premeditated murder for the death of her son and with the attempted first-degree murder of her daughter. The judge ordered a psychiatric evaluation for Becht and set bail at $1 million without conditions or $750,000 with conditions. The evaluation is suppose to take place within the next 60 days. Fuck. She’ll plead insanity and everyone will buy it cause who in their right mind would plan to take their children to Neverland Ranch?

Paul Klick Was Clicking In On The Neighbors

Damascus, OR- For the last year, Jeff and Traci suspected someone was lurking outside their home and peeping into the windows at night because they’ve seen footprints in their flower beds. Traci said she knew someone was coming around because she would rake the dirt and look for tracks the following day. Traci had spent many sleepless nights looking out for the peeping-tom, but never saw anyone until 2 a.m. Thursday morning when she got a feeling that someone was out in front of her 14-year old daughter’s window. Traci’s gut feeling was correct and she called 911 when she seen a man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt looking into her daughter’s window.

While the officers were responding, Jeff and a neighbor from across the street snuck up on the peeping pervert. They noticed he had a camera around his neck and was holding it up to the window. The two men immediately tackled the peeping-tom to the ground. As the three men scuffled, one of them was mildly injured, but they were able to detain the creepy clicker until police arrived. The most shocking part of it all, was when Jeff and Traci learned that the peeping-tom was their 43-year old neighbor, Paul Klick who lives less than 200 feet from their home. It gets worse. For the last two years, their daughter had babysat for the father of three.

“The fact that it’s someone in our own neighborhood that’s a family man that’s doing these horrible things to young children, I just want everyone to be aware you have to protect yourself first,”Jeff said. The police cited Klick on one charge of invasion of personal privacy, which is a misdemeanor, and he was later released. The deputies also searched Klick’s home and are still gathering evidence against him. I would not be surprised to hear he also recorded the girl while she was in his own home using his bathroom. Police believe Klick has been peering into windows for as many as 10 years. Jeff and Traci said other neighbors have reported seeing hands and arms reaching into windows and some of them have suspected a peeping tom has even broken into their homes. But the kicker of it all is what Klick’s dear old mother is saying. She claims her son is innocent (shock) and that it’s totally normal for people in that neighborhood to be out late at night watching for meteor showers. Bwahahaha! Whatever helps you sleep at night, Grandma. They are being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. There is no word on grandma’s condition, but I do hope that she’s ok. Assholes. Oh, and Michael? What’s with the retarded eyebrows? Ya fuckin’ clown…

St. John, MO – If ever there were a perfect tool for parenting, it’s the pacifier. On one hand, I can’t tell you how many hours of much needed sleep I can attribute to the beloved binky…with a couple of my own children, and later, my grandson. On the other hand, binkies can be a real pain in the ass – especially if the kid really doesn’t want to be corked. My son, who never was a fan of the pacifier, was a world class binky spitter…he could pop that thing out of his mouth and across the room in the blink of an eye, without a break in the screaming. I did what many parents do, let him scream until he wore himself out or walk the floor with him until he fell asleep. It never crossed my mind to tie a blanket around his little face to keep that cork in his mouth. Authorities believe that is exactly what Stacey Johnson did to her 2-month-old son, Tyler.

Last Friday, at about 7:30 p.m., Stacey put Tyler to bed. Apparently, Tyler wasn’t quite ready for bed and began to fuss. After popping the infant’s pacifier back into his mouth time and time again, Stacey grew a little frustrated. She put the binky into the boy’s mouth and tied a receiving blanket around his head, covering his mouth and nose, to assure the binky stayed in place. Tyler was finally quieted….for good. When Stacey went back into the room at around 12:45 to check on him, he wasn’t breathing. Tyler Goss was pronounced dead at the hospital…the ME determined the cause of death to be suffocation.

Tyler’s father, Darren Goss, thinks Stacey was tired and confused that night and wants to make it clear that he is standing by his girlfriend. “Everyone wants to be like she did this on purpose. And I think her intent was only to quiet him down. I don’t believe she just thought she had one child too many.” Darren wonders if Tyler’s death could have been prevented. Ummm, duh? Of course it could have been prevented! I don’t believe Stacey intended to kill the baby, but I don’t believe it was fatigue and confusion that killed Tyler, either. I think it was his mother’s laziness, period. “I can kinda understand what she was probably trying to think of,” Darren said. “I mean she could have just woke me up but she was trying to let me sleep and didn’t want anybody else to wake up so just did the best thing she thought, but it just happened to be the wrong thing.” Stacey has three other children, so she isn’t new to the whole mommy thing. Speaking of her other children, it is reported that DCFS has had contact with the family on several previous occasions, but nothing came out of it.

“I’m very shocked that something like that has been said,” said Stacey’s mother, Teresa, of the charges. She believes her daughter is innocent and the charges against her are false. After all, Stacey pulled the receiving blanket trick with Tyler just last week and Tyler didn’t die that time. “I think she did it to keep the pacifier in his mouth. And by tying it around his face and his mouth I don’t know if she was in the right state of frame to where she thought it was going to suffocate him,” she added.

Stacey Johnson, 30, confessed to what happened during her third interview with police. She is being held on $200,000 cash only bond and is facing charges of second-degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child. Her surviving children, ages 1, 3, and 6 are staying with relatives for the time being.

Orlando, Fl-I have never been to Disney World, but I’ve heard that it’s a pretty awesome place to visit. One of Disney’s many attractions is the Typhoon Lagoon Water Park which consists of fast water-slides, a Surf Pool where swimmers can catch 6-foot waves and a Shark Reef where people can swim and snorkel with real sharks. With all the money I am earning from this site, I should be able to visit Disney World in about…well, let’s just say I’d earn the money a lot faster if I start collecting every penny I see in a parking lot for the next 40 years. Robert Double, 52, is a lucky bastard from Farmington, New York who got to visit Disney World recently. But instead of snorkeling with the sharks, he decided it would be more fun to become one in the Typhoon Lagoon.

A 15-year old girl swimming in the wave pool at the Typhoon Lagoon told authorities that a man crashed into her, pulled her bikini top off, and then groped her breasts while he pulled down her bikini bottom with his other hand. The girl said she swam away from the man, but when another wave came, he crashed into her again. Once again the man removed her bikini top and fondled her breasts. Heh. The girl left the pool and told her father who alerted authorities. Security cameras showed Robert Double, Jr. repeatedly positioning himself in front of young girls in the wave pool, then diving under the water and attempting to remove their bathing suit tops. Although he did this to several girls, only one other victim was found and her father refused to press charges. Robert Double Jr. was removed from the wave pool by lifeguards and arrested by police. He was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 16 after the victim identified him. His bond was set at $5,000. Two similar incidents in have been reported in recent weeks involving teen girls aged 12-15 being groped in wave pools at water parks. Chelsea Steele Is An Idiot

MARIETTA, GA - We’ve been tough on pretty white girls this week, and I almost passed up this story when I first heard about it. Then I saw her name, and more details of what she did – being easily amused, I decided to go ahead and throw her on the FP. Chelsea Steele is a 17-year-old cheerleader at Sprayberry High School. Last Friday, she and three friends stole $147 from some kids, one of them was in a wheelchair, who were selling T-shirts and hats at a neighborhood pool. After feigning interest in the items and making small talk, Chelsea snagged the money, hopped in a car and sped off.

Joe Green’s two daughters, aged 9 and 11, are the ones that were running the fundraiser. They were selling the items for extra summer funds and to help out his company, JAG Designs, which has experienced recent financial problems. It is alleged that Chelsea walked up to the table where the merchandise was being sold and even commented that what the kids were doing was “sweet” when told why they were there. Once Joe turned away, Chelsea snagged the box containing the $147 and jumped into a car containing three other girls and sped off.

Chelsea was identified by the kids, and arrested on Saturday. The police have also identified – as well as interviewed – the other three girls that where with her, although no charges have been filed against them. Joe feels all of the girls involved should be charged. “All four should be responsible for this. They fled the scene and I chased them on foot. They need to be disciplined,” he said.

Chelsea was placed in Cobb County jail on Saturday on a $5,000 bond. She was there up until today when she finally bonded out. She is now facing charges of robbery and underage possession of alcohol. Joe Green stated that the mother of Chelsea offered to pay back the money if he did not press charges, but he never replied back stating that Chelsea’s fate hangs in the district attorney’s hands, not his.

Chelsea also issued an apology through her attorney. “She is just torn up about what happened,” Mike Moran told reporters at Channel 11, “She’d like to express to the children who were involved in this and had to experience it, as well as their parents, that she is extremely sorry for what happened and wants an opportunity down the road to say that to their faces.” But Green, who I am liking more and more, says for Chelsea to go fuck herself. Well, not in those words. Those would be mine. What Green said was, “To be honest, that does nothing for me, anybody is going to say anything to get out of jail. I want a lesson learned. Everyday I’m getting angrier about it”

High School cheerleaders are funny. I still remember them never looking my way or acknowledging me while at school. But later that night, when they would stop by old Morbid’s crib to partake in some party favors, they were always way too eager to let me balance my nuts on the bridge of their nose. Never did trust them much after that, although like Catholic girls, they would do anything. Oh, and again, what’s up with the name=crime thing? Bullitt County, KY – They packed everything they thought they would need – their birth certificates, a light bulb, a GPS tracking device, hammer, screwdriver, clothes, and a few toys. The children, ages 6 and 10, then hit the road. They made it nearly a quarter mile away from home before a good samaritan picked them up. What were they running from? Their mother’s boyfriend, William Morris. Earlier that day, during a game of hide-n-seek, they got a little rambunctious and loud…Morris got pissed. Pictures taken by officers show exactly how pissed off Morris was. The 6-year-old girl was sportin’ bruises on her leg and a nasty welt on her arm and her 10-year-old brother had a belt mark across his back.

“They said they were running away from home because their mom’s boyfriend had beat them up, beat them with a belt,” said Bullitt County Detective Scotty McGaha. The kids waited until their mother, Kelly Porter, 28, and Morris, 43, went to sleep before they made their escape out a window. The pissed off 10-year-old also told officers that Morris stole $22 from him…money the child had earned from running a lemonade stand, and was saving to go to Disney World. Both children and a younger sibling have been placed with their grandmother.

Kelly Porter and William Morris were arrested on Monday and are now sitting behind bars, each facing charges of wanton endangerment. I had to laugh when I found out that while Porter and Morris were sitting in jail, their home was burglarized! A couple of thieves broke into their home on Tuesday and stole a Wii and a laptop. Ha! Karma. She’s a bitch!

Ricky Lee Blackwell Is A Monster

CHESNEE, S.C. - I heard this one on the news this morning, and what Ricky Lee Blackwell, 49, did just absolutely sickens me in just how cold-blooded it was. On Wednesday, Ricky’s estranged wife went to their adult daughter’s trailer to swim. She brought her current boyfriend’s daughter, 8-year-old Heather Center, along with her. At some point Ricky, who lives next door, arrived at the residence. No reports on what kind of exchange happened between Ricky and his estranged wife, but Ricky grabbed Heather in a headlock, and shot her once in the head. He then shot her a few more times as she fell to the ground.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Heather lying face down in a driveway. They could see that she had been shot in the leg, the center of her back, and there was blood coming from her right ear. Ricky eventually emerged from some nearby woods he had been hiding in. This piece of shit, after committing this cowardly act, then committed another by shooting himself in the side when police closed in on him. He has since recovered from surgery and once coherent, he will be charged with murder and kidnapping.

Police say that Ricky has a long criminal record, but are as shocked as we are at what he has done. “I don’t know where you can go in the mind to justify shooting a child,” said Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright. “I don’t understand how you can get so angry.” One neighbor (who wanted to remain unidentified) stated that “Ricky was a fine man…He must have just lost it. I really don’t know why he done what he done. But in my mind, Ricky has always been a fine man.”

My condolences to Heather’s family, I couldn’t possibly fathom what you are going through right now.

Mohammad Kattan Has Perverted Urges

Vacaville, CA – He watched her from the shadow of an alley – entranced by her swinging hair. The fact that she was playing with another child didn’t bother him in the least. He saw something he wanted and he was determined to get it. He approached the little girl and said, “I’ve got a surprise for you. Close your eyes.” He then grabbed the 6-year-old girl and pulled her behind a dumpster in the alley, just feet away from her own home. He held on to her and began to masturbate. The child cried out to her friend, Caitlin. Her friend, perhaps sensing something was wrong, made up a little story. She told her friend that she would be right over, just as soon as she picked up their jump ropes. Instead, she ran for help. Meanwhile, Kattan continued to molest the little girl.

He told the little girl “this is what Hannah Montana does, it’s ok for you to touch me.” Kattan made the little girl touch his genitals. He tried forcing the girl to orally copulate him. He yanked down her swimsuit bottom with the intent to abuse her further. Perhaps fearing the child’s friend had gone to seek help, Kattan released the child and fled. At about that time, the victim’s mother was approaching the alley. “I could hear my daughter screaming in the alley going, no no no,” described the distraught mother. The girl’s father had been on the phone with 911 since Caitlin alerted the pair. Vacaville police investigators responded to the area, and minutes later located Kattan about a block away from the alley. Both Caitlin and the victim identified him as being the abuser.

After a lengthy interview, Kattan fessed up to molesting the little girl. He told investigators that he has had urges to “do something to little girls” for the past year and a half. Mohammad Musallam Kattan, 20, was taken into custody on suspicion of two counts of lewd acts with a child and a count each of kidnapping, false imprisonment and annoying or molesting a child. Bail was set at $1 million. Police say Kattan had faced similar charges in Sacramento, but was never prosecuted.

Yenitza Colichon Introduced Her Daughter to Black Magic

Patterson, NJ – “Palo Mayombe” is a form of black magic that’s viewed as the queen mother of everything evil. It’s origin is set back in the 15th Century in the Congo Basin of Central Africa. It appears as though Palo Mayombe is based on two pillars: The veneration of the spirits of ancestors and the belief in natural powers (Nature). Through all the research I did, I really couldn’t find anything that would make me fear this “religion” and a few things I ran across just seemed downright funny – like them selling “Do It Yourself spell kits” for $50 over the Internet. I know gambling is a problem for some, but a spell kit for it? So yeah, I found nothing really “black magic’ish” that would make me raise my eyebrows…except for these three people’s interpretation of the “religion” and the ritual they performed on this 7 year-old girl.

A mother, wanting to afford her daughter all the luxuries in life, sought assistance from a Palo Mayombe priest and his wife. Yenitza Colichon wanted to “cloak her daughter with mystical protection”, whatever the fuck that means. So an arrangement was made and she toted her 7 year-old down to the basement of Julio and Zahira Cano, where they blindfolded this child and systematically cut her wrists, arms, legs and back. A total of ten times. The clothes were also cut off this little girl and she was doused with cold water. No one knows for sure, perhaps showing her it could have been worse, they took the blindfold off and had her witness the sacrifice of chickens and a goat. (and that just pisses me of!)

Authorities are still confused as to exactly what kind of “ritual” this really was and why it included torture of a small child and the killing of small farm critters. And I will admit, I’m right along with them on that one. They did have enough information to execute a search warrant and found various items in the Cano’s home including bones, religious statues, sticks with names and residual blood on some of them, and machetes. Neighbors also reported seeing people in the backyard donning white gowns. White gowned people doing some nasty black magic.

All three were arrested and charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and Yenitza Colichon was charged with an additional fourth degree cruelty and neglect of a child. Yenitza and Julio are being held on a $20,000 bail but the “priest’s” wife was released on recognizance. That’s a start I suppose but what about the damn goat?

David Niedzielski Is Despicable

Minneapolis, MN – Chuck Lindemans hadn’t been seen for weeks and there was a weird smell coming from his home. A concerned neighbor, David Niedzielski, decided that maybe it was time to check up on the guy. He knocked on Chuck’s door and when no one answered, he kicked the door in. Upon entering the home, he noticed that poor Mr. Chuck was dead. Mortified, David immediately called 911 to report his discovery. Oh, wait a sec, this is the Dreamin’ Demon! He didn’t call 911 – since poor Mr. Chuck was laying around all dead and stuff, David decided to take advantage of the situation and relieve the dead guy of some of his worldly belongings. I mean, hell, you can’t take it with ya, right?

Another neighbor finally got on the phone with police after David hadn’t emerged from the residence in over 10 minutes. Minneapolis Police Sgt. Jesse Garcia said that David allegedly ransacked Chuck’s home and pocketed several watches and necklaces, seven pairs of earrings, a cell phone, a rifle and a revolver. In David’s pockets, jewelry with the deceased’s initials on it.

David’s sister, Tamara Niedzielski puts a different spin on things: “He (David) was drunk and he’s highly medicated everyday. I believe he should be punished. But I don’t believe he should be given prison time for being concerned,” she said. Silly Tamara, he’s not in trouble for being concerned, he’s in trouble for ripping off a dead guy. “I prayed to the guy (Chuck), and I apologized to him. I told him I’m sorry. But honestly, if it wasn’t for us, the guy would still be up there right now.” That’s comforting. David Niedzielski, 28, is being held on charges of burglary. Bail has been set at $120,000. It is believed that Chuck Lindemans, 55, died of natural causes.

Dead Hookers Make The Closet Stinky

Orlando, Florida – Kids have big mouths, don’t ever let ‘em in on a secret. They blab – about everything – mommy’s real age, mommy’s real hair color, dad’s penchant for hookers, mommy’s real weight, dad’s little fib about the size of the fish he caught, the dead hooker in dad’s closet, the secret ingredient in dad’s famous chili recipe, etc. Yeah…you gotta be real careful around those kiddos…loose lips and sunk ships and all that. Oh, and, if you want help dumping the body of a dead hooker, you’re better off asking one of your friends, as opposed to your 5th grader. Just ask Alan Jett. His first mistake in this story of fail was bringing the kid along to pick up a hooker…it just kinda went downhill from there.

Yes, sometime last month, Jett hired himself a lady of the evening, Lashanda Brand, and took her back to his apartment. While his son sat in another room, Jett sampled the hooker’s goods. After the lovin’ was done, the boy said he heard his dad and Brand arguing over money – and then, complete silence. Dad exited the room and father and son prepared to go to dinner. When the kid asked about Brand, dad told him she was asleep. But, the child had snuck a peek into the bedroom and it looked to him like the woman was dead. The next morning, Jett told his son the hooker had vacated the premises. Later that day, the boy went into his father’s room and opened the closet. There was Brand…wrapped in a blanket. He didn’t mention to his father that he had seen the dead woman in his closet. He did, however, mention it to a classmate in his summer-school class, who, in turn, must have told someone else, who alerted authorities. A day later, Jett approached his son and asked for some help to “get rid of the body” because it was starting to stink. Jett wrapped a couple more blankets around the dead woman, added a bit more tape, and father and son hauled the body out to his SUV. He wanted the body tossed into a dumpster, but the kid wasn’t quite strong enough to heft it up that far, so, the body ended up in a field. Asked to show investigators the location, the boy took them to the same place where Brand’s body was found June 22. There is no word on the manner of death.

Alan John Jett, 40, was arrested and charged with first-degree-murder. His son is staying with an aunt while DCF tries to reunite him with his mother. Damn…my kid whines when I ask him to take out the trash. I can only imagine the fit he’d throw if I asked him to throw out the dead hooker.

Review: The Hidden – It’s Only Human, On The Outside!

L.A. is suffering from a rash of violent crimes being committed by once normal, law-abiding citizens. The latest involving a mild-mannered stock broker, Jack DeVries (Chris Mulkey), who unexplainably embarked on a murderous spree involving shoot-outs, grand theft auto and bank robberies. His rampage was brought to a halt during a confronation with LAPD detective, Tom Beck (Michael Nouri), sending DeVries to the hospital. Beck is unwillingly teamed with FBI agent Lloyd Gallagher (Kyle MacLachlan) to try and determine the motive behind the one man crime wave, but find DeVries dead in his hospital room. Stranger still, his roommate has walked out of the hospital, picking up where DeVries had left off – starting his own homicidal spree. To compound things, Agent Gallagher’s behavior lead Beck to believe the FBI agent knows a lot more about their situation than he is admitting to.

Nominated for best film at both the 1988 Saturn Awards as well as the 1988 Fantasporto, The Hidden is one of my favorite films from the ’80s. It was an independent sci-fi\horror film that is often compared to Terminator, yet never came close to achieving that film’s popularity. Jack Sholder, hot off of directing New Line’s A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge, does a competent job with one of Jim Kouf’s (Rush Hour, Disorganized Crime, Stakeout) first screenplays. The writing is smart and helps give the film a bit more emotional depth than one would expect from a low-budget sci-fi film.

The action scenes, while not on the level of its big-budget counterparts, are handled exceptionally well and even though they don’t all keep up the break-neck speed of the opening sequence, they still maintain the tension. The effects used in the film are also pretty top-notch and handled by a young Kevin Yagher, who had just finished working on A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. Clocking in at only 98 minutes, Sholder trimmed the fat, leaving the filler on the floor, helping to keep the film brisk and to the point.

The cast of The Hidden do a fantastic job and the oddball pairing of Beck and Gallagher would echo the exact same dynamic later seen by fans of Twin Peaks – MacLachlan reprising his role as Agent Cooper and Michael Ontkean’s Sheriff Harry S. Truman standing in for Beck. Claudia Christian, best known for her stint on Babylon 5, debuts on the big screen in one of her first starring roles as Brenda Lee Van Bure, a stripper who looks fantastic in a thong. A few of the other actors you will recognize terrorizing L.A. are the amazing William Boyett, Ed O’Ross and Clarence Felder. You even get television and film veteran Clu Gulager (Feast, The Return of the Living Dead) who makes an appearance as Lt. Ed Flynn.

If you stripped away all the layers of The Hidden, at it’s core you would be left with a buddy-cop flick not unlike the Lethal Weapon films. Two cops forced to work together, neither one liking the others style of doing business, learning to appreciate each others attributes while solving a crime. Nothing you have not seen a dozen times before in almost every single buddy-cop film ever made . But because of how MacLachlan and Nouri handle their respective characters, you will like the two, and enjoy the ride as they chase down a series of blood-thirsty killers hell-bent on destruction.

While the film is dated in certain areas, specifically the ’80s heavy metal soundtrack featuring groups like Shok Paris and Concrete Blonde, the clothes worn by Claudia Christian and some of the special effects, it doesn’t hinder the film at all. Showcasing solid performances, good direction and a smart script, The Hidden consistently stays above your usual ’80s cheese with enough wit and dark humor to help it stay entertaining over 20 years later. A top-notch sci-fi flick.

Myrtle Beach Film Crew Arrested For Filming Simulated Blowjob
Myrtle Beach, SC - On July 1st, police were flagged down by some beach goers who alerted them to a female giving a man a blowjob under a pier. On top of that, a film crew was recording the entire event. As police observed, they witnessed a Joseph Mark Flanders, 21, standing in front of Taylor McKenzie Hancock (snicker), 21, with his shorts down -but boxers on – while Hancock (snicker) simulated sucking his dick. When they approached the group, it turns out that they are just students filming a movie that contained this scene. Police told them they cannot do that and they need to leave. Oh, wait. This is Myrtle Beach. They arrested the two actors, producer, director of photography, camera man, sound technician, gaffer, and a key grip.

The incident occurred this last weekend between 11:30 p.m. on Friday and 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. When the woman awoke, she found the cab had been parked in a deserted “forest type” area near a highway and the cab driver was just climbing out from behind the wheel. When he opened the back door, he demanded for the woman to spit in his face and rub his nipples. At first the woman refused, but then out of fear she did as he asked. The cab driver then fondled her, sucked on her toes and feet, and forced the woman to touch him
Benny Peralta Went Postal
Phoenix, AZ – Benny Peralta, 46, is a real ass. He was hired by a 56-year-old woman to assist with the care of her disabled 62-year-old husband, but, things weren’t working out and the couple was planning to rent out the guesthouse where Benny was staying. Back on June 24, when the woman informed Benny they no longer required his assistance, Benny got all violent and stabby. First, he grabbed the disabled man’s dog from his lap and threw it into the wall. He then knocked the man out of his wheelchair and began stabbing him in the neck and back with a large kitchen knife. When the man’s wife tried to intervene, she got a dose of Benny’s anger as well.
Review: Creep
Kate (Franka Potente) has just left one party to head for another late-nighter rumored to have George Cloony in attendance. Unable to hail a cab quick enough, she opts for the subway and with a little time left before her train arrives, she sits on a bench and promptly falls asleep. When she wakes up, she finds that not only has she missed her train, she is also alone and locked in. As she contemplates what to do next, an empty train shows up, which she immediately boards. Her relief at not having to spend the night on a subway platform is quickly replaced by terror when she realizes she is being stalked. Not by the guy who has followed her from the party with a bit of cocaine in his nose and rape on his mind, but rather something much, much worse.

Pueblo, Colorado–Her life started off rough…born behind bars to a drug addicted mother 9 months ago, Iyana Perez had very little chance of growing up in a happy and healthy environment. Her mother, Selena Olsen, who struggles with drug addictions and other criminal activities, has been in and out of jail and/or detox on a fairly regular basis. Iyana’s father, Ted “Chewy” Perez, is a convicted child molester with drug problems and a criminal history of his own. Back in May, Ted allegedly kidnapped Iyana – though he threatened to kill the child, she was found alive and unharmed eight days later. After that nonsense, DCF stepped in and placed Iyana in the care of her grandmother, Snowie Buehler, a recovering addict. Snowie was already caring for Selena’s two older children. Three weeks later, Iyana was found dead in a dumpster.
Luke Sanchez Killed Gary Gabaldon - Vigilante Killing or Self-Defense?
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Luke Sanchez, 38, was driving back to his farm when he noticed two men burglarizing a nearby business. Sanchez called police and attempted to follow the vehicle of the men in an attempt to get a license plate number. The two men noticed they were being followed by Sanchez and pulled over, the passenger, Gary Gabaldon, got out and began punching out the windows in Sanchez’s truck. Sanchez then pulled out his handgun and shot Gabaldon in the head, killing him. The driver of the other vehicle drove off and Sanchez has now been charged with murder.

Review: Bloody Birthday - Three Psycho Kids Prey On Meadowvale!
On June 9th, 1970, two boys and one girl were delivered simultaneously at Meadowvale General Hospital. All three born to different families and during a total solar eclipse. 10 years later we see that these three kids have grow up in the same neighborhood and even attend the same school. They each also happen to be obnoxious sociopaths. The kids plan out and execute the murders of anyone, kids or adults, who they feel slight them or may be an obstacle in the way of their goals. While the community lives in fear thinking a serial killer is responsible for the recent cold-blooded murders, the three children continue their reign of terror undetected. Well, almost. Timmy Russel, a classmate and neighbor, along with his older sister, Joyce, have started to catch on. Unfortunately they do not catch on quick enough and are not aware of just how ruthless this trio can get. But they are about to find out.

Review: The Deadly Spawn - An Enjoyable, B-Movie Treat.
Over the years, the film has garnered a cult following and the love from these fans and the perseverance of its creators have kept this entertaining monster fest going even after subsequent, sub-par releases on VHS and DVD. However, in 2004, Synapse Films finally did the film justice by releasing a spectacular version of the film. Be sure to check it out and see why Deadly Spawn remains on the list of horror movie aficionado’s favorite horror films. It is short, to the point and without much time being wasted on things the viewer didn’t come to see when watching a movie about flesh-eating aliens. An enjoyably gory, B-movie lover’s treat.
Amanda Alvather Isn't Sweet But Her Children Are
Fort Wayne, Indiana I imagine it’s extremely difficult to be a conscientious DCS employee and manage to keep your ass out of jail. It must be a balancing act composed of restraint and resourcefulness. Those employees who are an attribute to their profession seems to go to any length to make a difference in children’s lives. The bad ones seem to lend a helping hand with destroying them. And as I sit here attempting to write up this story I have to wonder just how in the hell these DCS case workers kept from turning on Amanda Alvather and not beating the living shit right out of her for what she did to her children.
Sarah Moore's Jealousy Sparked The Fire
Schenectady, NY- From the very beginning the police suspected arson. Around 4:30 a.m. on June 13, firefighters responded to call of a burning apartment building. The brave firefighters risked their lives as they fought through the smoke and the flames inside the burning structure searching for helpless victims. It was on the second floor in a bedroom where they found 10-year old Avion Bell lying on the floor. Once outside, the firefighters had to resuscitate Avion twice before she was taken to the hospital. From there she was flown to Westchester Medical Center to be treated for smoke inhalation and listed in critical condition. The three firefighters who rescued Avion were also injured. Out of the three, Capt. Douglas Faulisi, 38, suffered the worst and may be off the job for up to a year due to a seriously injured hand.

Easton, Pennsylvania–Authorities are calling the allegations horrific. That, my friends, is an understatement. Terrell Scott, 23, is accused of torturing his girlfriend’s three daughters for more than a year. He abused them with lit cigarettes, cable wire, broomsticks, a claw hammer, and nail clippers. Police believe he began his attacks on the girls in September of 2007 and didn’t cease until October 2008. Authorities began the investigation into the allegations in November 2007, after the girls finally found the nerve and the courage to speak up about the abuse. Just this past Tuesday, a warrant was issued for his arrest. The girls were 8, 10, and 13 when the torture began, and the list of allegations is truly stomach-churning.

Definitely not the most brutal or the sickest of adult HK horror, with a screenplay and music that are just passable, Gong Tau is still a capable film and should satisfy the audience that it was made for. Lovers of the over-the-top and trashy should try and watch this one at least once.
Review: The Cottage - UK Crime Horror You May Have Missed
David and Peter are two bickering brothers in the need for some quick cash. They develop a scheme that involves kidnapping the step-daughter of a shady strip club owner with possible mob connections. The plan, if all goes correctly, is for them to abduct the girl, take her to a remote cottage in the country and hold her for ransom. Simple. But things normally never go exactly as planned, and the brothers find this out the hard way. They will also find out just how bad a well planned crime cang et (and how quickly) starting when their abducted girl turns out to be quite aggressive and not too happy about her situation. Before the night is over,everything that could possibly go wrong for the brothers will. Then it will get worse. Then the mutant, homicidal farmer shows up. It’s gonna be a long night.

I’ve never seen tweakers having a menage a trois before, but, I imagine it is something like watching a freaky zombie porno on fast forward.

While the film is laden with tension and a few “jump scares” it’s the last 5 minutes that are spectacularly creepy and unnerving. It is also what helps thrust this already competent horror movie into the top tiers of horror films. The ending is too creepy for viewers to forget easily.

Oxford, FL–You will have to bear with my as I shudder and twitch my way through this story. You see, I have a terrible fear of snakes. The little-bitty garden variety can send chills up and down my spine, so I can’t imagine ever coming up against a “real” snake, of the 12-ft. and longer variety. Shaunia Hare, 2, was sleeping Wednesday morning when the family pet found it’s way out of a glass aquarium, slithered to the child’s crib, wrapped itself around her body and bit her little head. Charles Darnell, owner of the snake and boyfriend of Shaunia’s mother, awoke to find the snake missing. I can’t imagine his terror at what he found next. He entered the child’s room in search of the snake, and discovered the 12-foot-long Burmese python in the crib, on top of Shaunia. Charles got hold of a knife and repeatedly stabbed the snake until it relinquished it’s hold on the child.
