The next Google phone offers branded Nexus will be the first model with the new version of Android – Jelly Bean. So much we know almost with certainty. The rest, just rumors like that Samsung will be made whole. Nexus phone line is very important for the Android ecosystem. Reference models are addressed to developers and more.

You may have heard or used the Android phone, one of the custom ROMs series called Oxygen. The developer of these ROMs is Adam Green and by chance while browsing the code provided by Google AOSP (Android Open Source Project), to find complete information on model specifications of a device manufactured by Samsung.

Jorma Ollila name probably will not say too much, but you must know that the man with the orange tie in the image below is the CEO of Nokia leading the pinnacle of glory.

Jorma Ollila, CEO of Finnish was between 1992 and 2006, precisely heyday. Well, recently gave an interview this gentleman from the YLE (Finnish BBC sort of), in which he spoke about the company and its current market position.

Former CEO admits that Nokia decay began with low performance software department and mention that in Europe generally too creates quality software for mobile. Towards the end of the 90 Nokia has identified the problem, but was not able to build a viable operating system. HTC One X receives an update that improves system performance

HTC One X received a system upgrade, the second since it came on the market. Software is available in version 1.29.401.7 and apply for models unlocked in Europe.

The software occupies 35 MB and offers a number of bug fixes and improvements in the functioning of the system, making the phone more stable.

HTC One X phones sold through operators in Europe will receive the update next week or no later than two weeks. HTC One X was launched with software version 1.26, 1.27 and 1.28 then jumping through updates. It is appreciated that HTC provides updates and bug fix phone so quickly after launch.

You might remember the little screen flicker problems that we had when we were testing the phone. Well they were solved with an update OTA next day and it very quickly. Let us hope that other companies will take example from HTC and mobile will quickly correct problems after launch.

HP Slate 8 comes with Windows 8 and business functions

Apple cofounder, Steve Wozniak buy a Nokia Lumia 900

Steve Wozniak is not just the co-founder of Apple, but also nice geek you see sometimes in line when launching a new Android or new Windows Phone.

He announced publicly that they will buy a Nokia Lumia 900 and The Woz was seen even at a store waiting in line for AT&T to test the phone.

Eventually, we don’t know if Steve bought or not the Lumia smartphone, but it seems so. Those from aNewDomain.net had the opportunity to talk to Woz, who spoke about his experience with Windows Phone and the Lumia 900. It seems that the original business partner Steve Jobs owns several Android phones and a few iPhones. Well, now Wozniak’s and Windows Phone owner and has only praise about the Lumia 900. Nokia 808 PureView – new pictures with 41MP camera

Nokia has provided another demonstration of the performance of 41 MP camera, installed on the smartphone model 808 Pure View.

Even resized to a resolution of 5MP, pictures show an incredible amount of fine detail and a rich palette of colors. Although we can not say much about color accuracy, we must recognize that they are very pleasant sight.

Remarkable is the Depth-of-Field effect, usually reserved only for the range of DSLR cameras. Obtain such results with a camera phone is usually impossible because of all optical compact design.

Nokia has added in the album of photos and images to the native resolution of 41 MP. Here, if we zoom to observe fine details, perceived clarity is not so great, but details are still well defined. Designed for viewing in a maximized mode, the pictures are almost indistinguishable from those obtained with a performant camera.

Overall, the Nokia 808 PureView is likely to become a new benchmark for performance comparison of mobile phones for photography. At least for now, no other cell phone camera can not compete performance achieved by the Nokia 808 PureView, the price of the precontrol conditions required by some stores even if no longer seems so exaggerated.

The slimmest phone in the world has become thinner!

Huawei amazed everyone earlier this year, with what they called the thinnest phone in the world, only 6.7 mm thick.

Well here is the Huawei Ascend S P1 was also deposed by an Asian company that is Oppo, who posted a teaser for a smartphone with 6.65 mm thick.

All information we have about this new terminal is limited to the image that you see here, which makes me think of an easier clone of iPhone. It seems that will be an Android model with NFC support, and I wonder if it will be a quad core or dual core phone. If you want a comparison, are that while iPhone 4S measures 9.3 mm thick, Galaxy Nexus is 10.9 mm, and this newcomer will be only 6.65 mm! Samsung has a special application for Mobile Unpacked 2012 event, which will hold on May 3 to announce “something new”.
