I know you're probably like "is this girl aware she's in a toilet??". But why notttt, the lighting was goooddddddd and I created this incredibly bad quality photo shoot..... I am in LOVE with my new hat yaaAAAAS. I found it on depop and managed to buy for £5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (can we just talk about that?). The lil cat makes me happy. It's so cute and is fab for those days when I'm in a bad mood and wear it half way down my face...

Hair braids make me so happpyyyy. I've recently done nothing but braid my hair in many different styles and ways for some reason. Hair braids can be so quick and easy to do that look so quirky and cool. They're great for when you're bored of your hair and have ran out of new styles. I think I gained my love for braids after seeing Keash Braids in Urban Outfitters, all of their styles look so edgy but amazinggggg.

For extra added coolness:

Add glitter (any colour of your choice) alongside neon hair ties. Don't forget the hair rings... they are a MUST.

Asos AW15

YEESSS .. you heard it!! Asos have dropped their new AW15 season preview. I literally am loving everything, from the glittery boots to the drawstring funky jumpers everything is just YAAS. It's so 70's inspired. The lookbook very much reminds me of the YSL AW15 collection with those late 70s disco vibes (photos bellow). I can't wait until the lookbook gets released. So I'm saving all of my pennies until that day comes.

FASHION LOOK | LILY ROSE DEPP

Soon to be fashion sensation Lily Rose Depp.

I am actually in love with Lily and her effortless yet normcore style. Well to be honest.. she could probably pull off anything. Also, her sock collection is on pointttt. Lily is predicted to be huge at the end of this year and into 2016. She's already been featured in Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel Haute Couture show, where she made an appearance alongside top actors Kristen Stewart and many more.

Bellow I have created some looks inspired by Lily for your everyday wardrobe.

***I came up with the outfits by searching the 'New In' section of each store to get hot new looks..(mainly Topshop) to create that almost casual (normcore) chic look***

1. Look number 1 is a simple all in one denim jumpsuit with culotte style trousers and a simple blue and white t shirt layered underneath. Also, I am loving these shoes. Recently I have seen many boots/heels/flats with the lace up and peep toe feature..they would also look cool with socks.

2. This dress.... YAAAASSS. This is a dress that everyone needs in their wardrobes. Its from topshop alongside the heeled boots which I think compliment the dress very well.

3. Look 3 is inspired by the causal look in the last photo. I used a simple black suede jacket and took a red polo neck from urban outfitters to layer underneath. As for the jeans. I found them on the vintage website Beyond Retro. This shop is incredible when you're in need of a new pair of jeans of any colour at all.. and inexpensive toooo! I also added a pair of dinosaur socks to match Lily's amaziNGG sock collection.

Nick Knight, famous fashion photographer has teamed up alongside SHOWstudio recently and released a film containing Mcqueen's unused footage from world famous designs selected by Sarah Burton.

I love this film. Back in March I visited the exhibition 'Savage Beauty' and this film reminds me a lot of the dramatic yet mind blowing experience I had. Just days left until the exhibition closes, the video has been released in memory of an iconic designer.

I am actually in love with Tilda, she has an amazing and hilarious instagram (tildalindstam). Besides turning herself into tacos she models for Dior and many other major fashion brands.

This gem I found lurking in an Age UK charity shop.. It was literally £2...... yess... £2! When I saw it I was like yaaaaass I need it. I think its fair to say that this furry item hasn't left my side ever since the day I bought it. It's so cool and funky and it also goes with my vast collection of skirts. Originally, I was on the look out for a funky bomber jacket because I love the style but couldn't quite find one to suit me... so instead in the hight of summer I decide to buy a fleece lined sheepskin coat.. hahahah why not? I'm loving it though.. and yes I'm still on the look out for that bomber jacket.

SLAVES ARE YOU SATISFIED? ALBUM REVIEW

Slaves are another of my favourite bands at the moment. They're a two piece punk band from Tunbridge Wells in Kent. They're new album 'Are You Satisfied?' has just been released on the 1st of June. I am actually in LOVEEE with this album. Every single song is unique and great to listen to. I don't usually say this about albums but every single song I could listen to again and again.. The band are almost protesting singing in angry tones about grumpy Londoners and everyday politics. Today I decided to buy the vinyl and alsooooooooo you guessed it ;) the Wolf Alice / My Love is Cool album, which also came with a 'Creature Songs' EP. Argggghhhhh I'm sooo happy I cant contain my excitement!!! Read the full NME review here)

FAVOURITE SUMMER ITEMS

1. My rings. I have to say I am obsessed with my lil ring collection at the moment that keeps on ever growing. Nevertheless, I do not hesitate to wear them every single day... Ok so maybe not all at once.. well, actually that's a lie haha. They're just all too pretty so I can't choose and have to wear them all!

2. Any halterneck is essential when on holiday. I stock up and buy pretty ones that I come across throughout the year. But I haven't yet been brave enough to pluck up the courage and wear one in english weather yet.. It's too untrustworthy.. one minute you go out in the blazing sun wearing shorts and a vest and then booom! it starts raining... and you find yourself looking like a washed up rat.. Layer up kids!

3. I am obsessed with this bag at the moment.. The colour, the fabric, everything about it I love and just for £12? YAAASSS. Topshop you have done good.. This bag is going to be with me for many journeys to come I just love it so much :).

4. Next up is my dress with a sort of asymmetric cut? I love this dress. It's incredibly versatile and can be worn in many ways for example, two outfits I have tried: placing a long sleeved top under the dress (layering yet again..) and throwing on a denim jacket. Outfit two I tried placing a large oversized t shirt over the dress which also looked quite cool.

5. Can we all just take a moment.. This dress dvadfhailfbajfbasfb. At first I wasn't reallllly supposed to buy it. I mean it was £60.. Slightly pricey. But I tried it on and gave in.. and I'm sooo glad! I love it to pieces. It's a type of dress that I would wear time and time again in any season whether it be winter or summer.

6. This bag was found in a Newcastle charity shop alongside a brown one which my friend also bought. I love it because you can fit anything in it and it has an adjustable strap.

7. Nextttt is my amazingggg flared trousers from Missguided. It was kind of hard to get a good photo of these not going to lie.. So I just took a close up of the pattern because its so cute and reminds me of the pretty blue and white quintessential Spanish tiles (I'm sure you all know the ones?) I'll put a full photo of the trousers up here. They look really nice with a white cropped top/halterneck. Or on a slightly miserable day a long sleeved top and jacket. I also bought the plain black version of these and I love them so much. They're nicely high waisted and so comfortable!

8. THis top hasn't come off me in dayssssss. Ok that made me sound creepy and like I don't wash my clothes.... I do don't worry. But I love this top! The tassels reach past my knee and compliment many outfits. My favourite items that I like to wear with this top include a cropped t shirt over the tassels, a pair of black shorts and a nice western style belt. Or.... black flared trousers and a denim jacket.

9. Last but not least is my beloved h&m sandals. Ok so these kind of hurt a little bit to wear in... But they were so worth it. These sandals look great with almost every outfit and also with socks too! (glittery ones to be precise) I know your probably all thinking whatttt? socks and sandals?? but glittery ones can be acceptable don't worry...I also think these sandals are available in a metallic silver colour to I think? But I'll put the website here anyway for anyone to check out.

Wolf Alice New Album & UK Tour Dates

Wolf Alice are an alternative rock band from North London who happen to be my favourite band at the moment. They've just released a brand new album 'My Love Is Cool' (release date: June 23rd) also, they've announced their biggest tour yet which I hope to go toooooooo !!! One of my favourite songs 'Giant Peach' is featured on the new album too. Arggghhhhhhh I'm so excited.

Recently, I found a £1 skirt at a local charity shop that I thought would make an amazing pair of culottes! I've been looking for one for agessss after seeing loads of culottes in the high street that i sadly cant afford. You can transform any skirt you wish into jazzy trousers and it took me less than half an hour.

It's officially the start of summer! and after finishing my college project i'm feeling really excited. I just needed to do an update of what i'm currently loving part 2, because there are soooooo many nice things for summer at the moment. Can we just take a moment to look at these sandals though.. This style of 'sports luxe' is becoming very popular featuring different colours and even metallics. I've got to the point now where I kinda just want all of them... not gonna lie. Also, I featured a t shirt from an artist called chris (simpsons artist) who draws illustrations which you may have seen on twitter and other social networks, --website here--. I've included other items such as this lamoda glittery drawstring bag and cheap monday t shirt dress which both make me so happy. Recently, I've been wanting to buy funky accessories for my clothes and I don't know why but I'm lovin it!!

Helen Bullock is currently one of my favourite fashion illustrators. Her style is so unique and cool, using lots of different media's including oil pastels, felt tips and paints. She trained at Central Saint Martins working alongside designers such as Louis Vuitton and is a regular illustrator at LFW.

I'm also currently saving up for other skinny flared trousers from boohoo with a paisley pattern. Another Item I am obsessed with are these drawstring culottes from Urban Outfitters which would look lovely with an oversized mesh t shirt dress. Also, I finally got some Vagabond Avery Boots!!! (Left). I love them so much but i'm not going to lie.. they're taking a while to wear in...

spring/ summer 15
menswear report

This season britpop is back.. look out for major nostalgic vibes from the 70s, 80s and 90s. 3 decades mixed together to create a whole new style. Topman were one of my favourites for spring summer showing a true high-street image of the trends. Loose fit t shirts, baggy flared jeans and different coloured Adidas gazelle style trainers, which I have been seeing everywhere at the moment and seem to be becoming quite popular. I particularly liked the aviator style sunglasses too.

Expect to see busy floral print in both mens and womenswear this season as it has made quite a bold return.

London Spring 2015

On Wednesday last week I visited London for 3 days with college and had such an incredible time and obviously bought loadsss from the urban outfitters there.. (had to) The first day I arrived I visited Portobello Road.. basically a road full of curious things and antique shops (definitely worth a visit). The next day I visited the Alexander Mcqueen exhibition at the V&A which was absolutely out of this world! Unfortunately, no photos were allowed to be taken apart from a few which I secretly took... I definitely recommend this exhibition to everyone.. And it was remarkable to see his one off pieces in person. The exhibition was a performance itself with dramatic sets and music along with the incredible instillations. In the exhibition they also showed the Kate Moss hologram lit up in a triangle shaped pyramid which in fact I think was the original tape from his show. Bellow I have put a video up to show you. Overall, I had a wonderful 3 days :)

Topshop Unique AW15

My absolute favourite show from London fashion week was Topshop Unique. Every look I wanted ! I can't wait until the collection comes out. The collection showed a classic Topshop girl.. A girl who has a unique personality and attitude. I loved how each model's make up was kept natural and not too over the top, showing that natural beauty is still effortless and to maybe let the clothes do the talking.
