A friend posted this on my Facebook page and it really made me ponder and examine my purpose, and how I run with it.

How may of my loved ones I had denied my attention and time ?

I realized I do this without the conscious effort to hurt any one of them but of cause the image and the golden thought brought me back to the understanding of how we chase the shadows while at the expense of the people that matters to us.

Have you been chasing the money effortless ot with all your might?

Do understand that there are times when we have realized all that we desired in life but unfortunately, we often forgot the reason we tried to achieve those resources .

We discover that in chasing our dreams we had denied our loved ones the care and our presence and most times, we deny the human essence - the body the necessary vitality needed to make us enjoy all that we toiled for.

Look back to day and waive to the selfish aspirations, extend your love to others, most especially take care of YOURSELF!

This is one of our greatest and largely unconscious fears. Most people do not apply what they learn. The cause of our resistance to success is both biological (internal) and sociological (external). The “voice” of our unconscious brain is much stronger than our conscious brain. We need to align our conscious goals and desires with our unconscious habits, attitudes and beliefs.

The solution begins with a clear, passionate Vision. This is essential to creating the motivation and action necessary to break through our “glass ceiling” of success. By examining our results we can tell if our unconscious mind is holding us back from better results.

A paradigm is an internal control system our brain creates to maintain a desired course of action. It is strongly related to our self image. Our present paradigm, or belief system, is getting us our current results. Any improvement in performance is only temporary unless we alter our paradigm. Recently, an acquaintance I met on the internet proposed to me to review a business plan and later to be part of the business by providing the necessary funds for expansion and always get ROI ( Return On Investment) of $100 dollars monthly.

Wow! isn't it fantastic?

The business plan happens to be an existing poultry firm which I knew nothing about and promised to manage the business since he has a poultry with over 250 birds and harvest 9 crates of egg per day.

Well, the idea sounds great and tempting, but really is this advisable?

Well I understand that in business one need to take risk and that the higher the risk the higher the profit, well so much for the principle.

As much as I wanted to invest in the business I found out that within I was compelled to answer the following question which you may also consider if you are reading:

What do I know about the business?
Can I manage the business myself ?
Can I manage the Risk ?
Can I forfeit the fund invested without any psychological trauma ?
Can you trust the would be partner?
Can...

I could go on and on but the main issue is this:

It is a fantastic idea to invest in business especially when it doesn't require your presence which invariably would afford you opportunities to concentrate on other issues.

As much as interesting to know that its all about risk, one still need to take a calculative risk if you really don't want to go bankrupt soon.

Here is the point if you are not satisfy with a business risk, when you doubt the partner, and cannot handle the psychological trauma of business failure and more ... don't even bother to go into business let alone partnering with someone you barely know with a questionable character and integrity.

Own a business of your own which you could comfortably manage or invest in others as long as you are psychically balance to manage all turbulence and success of such venture.

Each day you envision the future and where you desire to be while working at it. Yes while working at it since this piece is for those who could see where they want to be and how the desire to get there from where they are at least. Even if they don't even know at the moment how to get there at least they have a picture.

Great pictures you have there great dreams you have dreamed for the future but it's not enough if you fold your hands and relish in the fantasy of a great future when nothing has been put in place to achieve the vision.

Paint the picture for the future to encourage you! Period.

Sight

Well, the question might arise in your mind why I had to skip this part before talking about Foresight.

Ok.. right!

I found out that most times we get carried away about past and the future while we allow everything drift along without investing in what we can see at the moment...today and now if that would make it clear.

When you desire a fruitful future oftentimes depend on what you could put ( invest...sow...plant name it what you could etc )into it today.

Away now from frittering away your limited resources ( time) in idle day-dreams and imagination.

The enterprise in you calls out now for productive use of your today.

Remember, when you waste your time you waste your life!

I live in Nigeria - the most populous country in Africa with estimated population of 140 million people.

In other words, there is a lot you can achieve in this environment, I believe the wealth and riches lie in the below formula:

Now You see what I mean... but the focus of this article is that I am yet to find enough entrepreneurs to take the advantage of the hidden wealth and riches in our Country.

Wardrobe management is Undeniably a key success dynamic in business. If it weren't , nudity no doubt would be prominently figure more in the business and corporate society.

Being cloth often gives you an mammoth leg up on those who don't, but it is more important for wise entrepreneurs and business minded ones to learn the strategic dressing techniques. This is what makes the difference between a career in the fast track and one in the breakdown lane.

Appropriate dressing and understanding strategic image management is a vehicle for self expression. Fashion designers and apparel managers knows this and they continually thrill us with combination of materials for proper self expression and confidence building.

In succeeding in business there is need for you to have a clear understanding of the environment in which you will be dealing and the ability to fit perfectly into it is also of paramount.

“Birds of a feather flocks together goes the saying” since you will appreciate and want to deal with one that looks more like you without being threatened or intimidated. Shoes – black or dark brown and well shined. If possible avoid foot wears with stacked heels, buckles and double- tone designs.

Please Avoid white belt, white shoes and the combination of a brown belt and black shoe. On the contrary ensure that you always have the same color of belt and shoes.

Remember you will always be addressed the way you are dressed.

Other accessories:

Though small but always remember the pen is mightier than the sword, it is advisable you choose your weapon with great care. A half chewed BIC banana pen devalues your cultivated image of polished billion dollar business.

Remember: Merely learning to select the right business fabric or choosing patterns in a tie is not all. You must now have the basic business uniforms and fabrics- the power of accessories.

Everyone who got to where they are had to begin from where they were_ Richard Paul Evans

I cannot but wonder and ponder when I meet with talented ones whose rare kinds of gifts, oftentimes if they could only explore them carefully with dexterity then dumbfounding excellence will be in their grips.

I was working with some young folks recently at a congregation filled with hundreds of creative ideas. But one thing took me aback when the first young man I over heard just kept complaining that there was no job and that with all he knew I could not do anything.

I slowly walked towards him and inquired why he looked so worried and again he started complaining about how the environment has been unfair to him and how nobody needs his skills and how things would never work for him and he went on and on... wow! quiet pathetic isn't it?

Having allowed him to unburden his mind. I asked him just one question, What solution do you have to offer the world?

He kept quiet for a while to ponder for a moment and suddenly he said " really I don't know but I speak Spanish and French well not only that I enjoy speaking both languages".

This is ENOUGH for you to Succeed... was my word to him.

Exactly what I wanted to narrow his ability down to executable visions since he has so many dreams and vision but undefined ones. Today, Victor* ( not real name) works with the French embassy in Nigeria as an interpreter and does other private interpretation jobs for people who needs his services.

Today I will be asking you same question:

What is the solution you have to offer?

You don't need to have all the gift in the world to make impart or to be successful what you have in your hand is Enough for you to Succeed and Excel with fulfillment.

Remember the stone in your hand is enough to knock down the Goliath of impossibilities.

I found out that most industrious and world change- agents are just the ordinary people like me and you , they live and tolerate others who fail to see the oak tree within when its at seed.

I cannot even imagine even if I try nothing seems to be seen in his imaginary world to paraphrase the words of Ben Carson in his is book The Gifted Hands.

The same Ben without the ability to imagine eventually became the best neuron-surgeon and even the head of the department at the John Hopkins University.

This is no book review, it is a platform for you to activate your indispensable abilities that lay passive within you.

Inventor Richard Jones, a naval engineer was trying to make a meter designed to monitor power on naval battleships. When Jones was working with tension springs when one of them fell to the ground. The spring kept bouncing from place to place after it hit the ground, and the slinky was born.
