Job data is looking positive, hikes are re-installed and more over stock traders are making some good money. Though a small jolt hit the markets in the form of Dubai crisis, the insulation of many firms from the investment in building Dubai didn't affect much. Those who got affected from this are still lurking in the market. Now it seems the power to swing the economy is shifted from west to east. China has a major portion in this, followed by India and then Russia.
As i did look back at the consumer market, it's not the west that is dominating. Now, the major exporter in the world (China) has turned into significant consumer without reducing it's production business. Now small is big for many firms. Take an example of auto industry, how many Ferrari's will be sold in a year ? compared to large small car consumer market in Asia, the revenue earned by selling small car will be much more. Many auto industry giants are capturing the market by releasing newer small cars. At the same time, the expensive car market has picked up very well in Asia. BMW and Mercedes are competing each other in India, Audi joined the race followed by Jaguar which has an Indian owner now. Most in west are saving their money in banks instead of putting it in stock market and in east the stock market penetration is increasing day by day as people investing in stocks from which they had freezed till years in their bank accounts.
Aftermath of the crisis, we can conclude that we have a new costumer to serve. The shift of consumer market. Hope this new consumer will never cause another crisis. I love crisis as it teaches how to survive in tough times but unlike me most people hate it. Asian market will never cause mortgage crisis that's for sure and let's carefully watch other things that might cause the havoc. So stay awake !!!!

This is the reason behind the huge success of Microsoft. It plans the TTM (Time to Market) so precisely that it will always be ahead of others. The latest news among the netizens is SkyDrive.

I have heard so many people talking about Google's G-drive concept which is appreciated world wide. But here comes a big surprise from Microsoft. Today when i opened my hotmail account i saw an ad displaying a text saying 25GB with an icon looking more similar like a USB drive. I wanted to buy an USB drive so i clicked on it curiously. It took me to the page displaying the folders. I was really surprised by this move of Microsoft to capture the market and online community earlier than Google. I wanted to buy and Hard disk for my computer to dump more data on it but when i saw SkyDrive today it brought a smile on my face.

Here are a few things you’ll find on your shiny new SkyDrive: 25 GB of free online storage Available in 6 more regions and 13 more languages Download entire folders as Zip files(limited release)Gorgeous online slide show for your photos

Arrange your photos:

Now you can arrange the photos in your albums in the order you want them to appear by clickingSort by, and selecting Arrange photos. The major question infront of us today is that 'How long will this tide lasts ?'. Many experts say that we have not reached the bottom of ocean and this tide may end any moment but remember one thing, on trusting these Wall street experts only your company invested in Mutual funds and other equity options and ended bankrupt or firing people from jobs. One thing i don't like about these Wall street experts is that they always engaged in making a rich guy more richer. They don't care about others who are not 'Rich'. For example, Apple instead of sacking 1600 jobs they would have retained the jobs and earned the people's respect and loyalty. But these Wall street experts doesn't allow your company to lose the money by helping people in tough times by keeping them in their jobs. So never listen to these so called 'Experts comments'.
I ask you one question 'How long will you cry ?'. You may say a day or two, a week , a month or an year after that you are fed up with crying and you want to laugh. This is the current situation now, nobody wants to bear the worse situation they have faced so far anymore. People are engaged in setting the situation right with the aid of people's president in action. People started investing again which is resulting in increase of liquidity in market. Many small investors are riding the 'Feel Good' tide and making marginal profits. This tide will last long if you can make your own decision and invest in market in which you believe that will bring some security to your livelihood. Also, it's better to be deff in stock market becuse you will not listen to anyone especially the so called 'Wall street stock experts' and you will bid the right price and that will keep the tide at optimum level so that it won't get dried up soon neither it will cause tsunami.

Happy investing and tell me if you made any profit. These keyboard shortcut would be highly helpful to quickly navigate and work through Gmail.
These stickers can act as a tool to help your learn Gmail’s shortcuts. The adhesive is a bit more removable than standard stickiness, so you can take them off once you’ve trained your fingers. To get these stickers:

Just send a self-addressed stamped envelope (along with a note if you’re so inclined) to:

Send me some Gmail stickers already
P.O. Box 391420
Mountain View, CA 94039-1420

Make sure to include enough postage to return a sticker pack via U.S. mail. It’s less than one ounce, so a standard $0.42 stamp will do if you’re in the United States; enclose an international reply coupon (IRC) if you’re outside of the U.S. And be sure to send your envelope in soon.

But if you do not have enough time or money or resource to get these stickers, I have two ideas for you. Gmail Blog has provided a wallpaper image of the shortcuts an stickers.

You can:

1.) Set it as your desktop background to learn them
or
2.) These banks lend loans like anything, thinking that the Real Estate price will reach beyond sky and they can make hefty profits. But the result was fatal. Similarly now is the time the banks are trusting more in Gold and offering loans on the same. Here is the graph that depicts the Gold prices in rupees last month.

Gold is always considered as safe futuristic investment but now banks are greedy to make profit and they are following the path of big 5 of United states. If it continues then at this economic condition then there will be less buyers of Gold as no liquidity can be seen in markets and markets at all time low and people instead of investing in Gold, they will keep the money for their livelihood. Henceforth Gold price will fall further. If you have sufficient money so that you can forget your investment for next few years then you can emerge as a millionaire, initiating investing in Gold now in few thousands.

Now let’s welcome the Nail watch that can be worn on the thumb. You may have never seen a watch that can be worn on the thumb but times are going to change thanks to Timex. Timex in collaboration with Core-77 held a global design competition called 2154: The future of time design. So what we are seeing here is the TX54 concept which was a runner up there.

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px;
Thanks to a translucent body, the design blends seamlessly with the nail while a selection of text color options and a glow feature on command activating make it supremely functional as well. Press the end of your thumbnail, and the watch will light up for you. A perfect blend of appearance, user interface, and technology, watch the nail passes most standards of modern design with flying colors thanks to its functional and minimalist appeal. The watch looks stylish and chic and has a touch of geeky style as well. The downside of this watch is that it is disposable. So with so many stylish watched being available now, it will be hard for it to survive in the market. Though it is quite innovative with a minimalist design, but it will not last long on your finger. No detail about the availability or the price of this watch has been released by Timex. But since it is tiny and disposable, I do not expect the price to be high.

Why all these are happening simultaneously ? There is only one answer for this, that is hike in crude oil prices.
All these days there was a misconception that the Saudi Arabia and other oil producing middle east countries have surplus oil in their land. But was there sufficient oil or they just lied ? The fact is they kept on convincing that they have surplus oil in their wells to supply it for entire world for next century but the actual fact is they lied to everyone. Even US believed them. They showed false oil repositories. Even though they didn't find a new single oil source they kept on increasing the quantity of repository and produced the same false documents in OPEC summits. So most of the nations believed them. Now when they started to see the bottom of their oil wells, they started to slow down their production.

Why they lied ?
They lied to keep the world moving with them. Earlier, If they have produced the correct calculations on their oil stocks the world would have looked for alternative source for crude oil to run the machinery and oil prices have not raised by this extent as it is today. They kept on lying and no one attempted to find the replacement for crude oil. Now, they are trying to control whole world by controlling the economies which are highly depend on oil to run the basics of infrastructure.

But there are alternatives to oil.....
Yes, there are alternatives to oil like Electricity and diesel. Diesel can be produced from coal so it will be the next replacement for oil and also diesel engines emit less carbon than petrol engines. Liquid coal will play a huge role in the future of the U.S. and the rest of our heavily oil-dependent nations. The electric hybrid vehicles are present in the market but are available at high price. More research has to be done in very short time to find a solution.

So go and grab the coal stocks early to earn 'some' profits !!!
SOME- Some Million Euro's !!!!

In India the inflation reached a record high of 7.57 and also many nations are suffering from food crisis. Recently Mr.Bush blamed India and China for consuming nutritional food. India as well as china is experiencing a positive economic growth. So people are earning more money, especially the middle class in India which is the backbone for Indian economic conditions. So when people earn money they have the rights to spend it in their own way. Bush commented that Indian middle class is consuming a lot of nutritional food so as a result of that the food crisis raised in the world. When people have an option to eat good food then why should they go for poor stuff. Until now middle class had no option other than working hard to earn the livelihood, but now with the growing economy good salary brings them the freedom to choose between things, it may be in selecting the food stuffs to eat or in buying a piece of cloth. Until now Americans had many option to choose for each thing, but when others(Indians and Chinese) started enjoying the same, the president of United States is condemning it. Bush and Federal bank made a mistake in driving the US economy and they failed to bring it onto right track. Now, they are simply condemning others for their mistakes.

Global warming is causing the ice bergs to melt at the arctic and hence increasing sea levels and hence the possibility of oceans covering major landscapes which includes major cities in all the continents. Here is a step taken by Google for reducing the power consumed by monitors while displaying it's search engine pages. Google introduced Blackle, the Google with black colored search pages.

Blackle saves energy because the screen is predominantly black. "Image displayed is primarily a function of the user's color settings and desktop graphics, as well as the color and size of open application windows; a given monitor requires more power to display a white (or light) screen than a black (or dark) screen." Roberson et al, 2002.

Thus the electricity consumption is reduced while you are using Google search and also contributing a little to save the earth.

So, please use Blackle.com instead of previous Google search from now. Also change the start page to Blackle.com if you have set Google.com before as your homepage.

Use blackle to tackle the global warming.

The Recession is said to occur whenever the GDP of a country crosses below the zero mark.

Effect of Recession on stock markets
The Great fall in stock prices need not be due to the recession. There are many reasons for the stock market prices fall. Even though there is a recession period going on in a country there is a chance for stock prices to move up. Suppose the effect of inflation may cause the demand for a product to go up and hence it's stock price in the market goes up.

How to control Recession
There is only one option to control recession that is to circulate money among the people of the country. This is achieved by Tax Exemption, Internal development work which creates more jobs and thus the income for people, Fiscal and many more.

Now the US economy is facing such a recession problem. It is expected that the GDP by the end of the next quarter will be recorded near to -0.65. Now the GDP index is approximated to 0.00, so this will be a worse hit for the Real Estate business. This Real Estate business takes a minimum of three to six months to recover back to find it's normal value. so this is the best time to make some Real Estate property for you.

Many small companies closed at the start of this crisis, many selled their mortgages but those who resisted all these are making huge profits in their midcap and small sectors. Here is such an example, John is a diary farmer in US. He's making more money than he did before the subprime crisis. You may wonder that how can this guy is becoming rich when the whole world is chanting mantras for Dollar appreciation and the rate cuts made by Federal Reserve is maintaing the US markets to stay at reasonable mark. Now coming back to John's story, John is able to sell more milk from his diary farm. This happened because of Dollar depreciation, which resulted in ending up of many US products in India, China and other countries. Thus the Dollar depriciation resulted in demand for many US products at the same time many large companies are losing millions due to this Dollar depreciation.

Let's pay our attention towards Indian market. There is a fall happening in indian markets this is due to solidity in markets because the Reliance IPO has dominated the money gathering from the market and there is little money left to switch from one share to another. Thus this fall may continue for three weeks or more. The FED may boost the markets by cutting rates but again markets will end low for next one or two weeks. This is a very good time to buy the shares.

Moral of this post is RESIST TO WIN !!!!!!!!

Since people can run around with laptops while the machine is on, it is very important to build some disk crash protection in laptops. Laptops typically handle this situation by switching off hard disk when it detects any movement.

Solid state drives are here (which don’t have any moving parts) which eliminates this problem!!!!
Today I came across an Alien ware laptop advertisement which features a 64GB solid state drive! The good thing is that it consumes 50% less power and is supposed to be faster than an ordinary hard drive!!!!

Yes, this thing comes with a price. The Alien ware configuration section gives an additional $1100 for a 64GB solid state drive ($500 for 32GB). I think the best option will be to use 32GB solid state drive with a portable hard disk for your long term storage needs.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_fa96lmVQ8BM/RzRRzFtwxhI/AAAAAAAAAB4/pEhJ4zNmhqE/s320/alienware-on-solidstate.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5130815813631133202" />

The main advantages of solid state drives are,

1. No moving parts and hence highly reliable.
2. Faster booting time (2x faster than fast hard disks)
3. Power efficient and increases battery life.
4. Quiet operation.

I think we can soon see other brands (Dell, Toshiba etc.) coming up with solid state hard disks.

Get it back

A nice little tweak for XP. The software manufacturer reserve 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes (suspect for updates and interrogating your machine etc..)

Here's how to get it back:
Click Start-->Run-->type "gpedit.msc" without double qoutes

This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy-->computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->Network-->QOS Packet Scheduler-->Limit Reservable Bandwidth

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab :
"By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."

So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.

But many companies are trying to avoid this by banning many SEARCH ENGINES at their work places. But they don't ban any e-mail services at their work places, this is enough to access the world's fastest search engine i.e., GOOGLE from your workplace through e-mail.
Always wondered why do they block websites. The search power of Google can be very useful for knowing about everything. But now there is no need to wait till 5 PM for GOOGLING.
To search and receive Google search results through email. Try out according to the information given below.
>> Send an e-mail to google@capeclear.com and put the text of your query in the "Subject" line of the e-mail.

You will receive the search results as e-mail in your mail id.

Once you get the result for the searches, you can get the contents of a URL using the below feature

To receive the web content of a URL,try out as below .
>> Send e-mail to web@pagegetter.com and "subject" of the mail should contain the URL whose content has to be fetched.

You will get the web page of your chosen web URL in your e-mail.

TRY IT TO BELIEVE IT

Hopefully you haven't copied a credit card number recently before surfing!

To avoid Clipboard Hack Problem, do the following:

1. Go to internet options->security
2. Press custom level
3. In the security settings, select disable under Allow paste operations through
script.

Now the contents of your clipboard are safe :)

Many of my friends don't know how these search engines and free e-mail providers will make millions of money every year.Everyone is curious to know about this, so I'm posting this article to make my friends understand the money making techniques of these free service providers.

You might heard of the story in last month that AOL-America On Line accidentally published the details of millions of keyword searches that 650,000 of its subscribers had carried out over a period of three month. The data revealed many people's online lives in remarkable detail. This is a general problem with free services, you have the impression that you are not paying for this but instead unknowingly you are paying a reasonably heavy price.

Search engines have a good reason for gathering data about what people look for. They use this data for sending advertisements to the subscribers of their services. Have you ever noticed that if you view a website based on selling products online, you will get mails [most times as spams] from them at regular times even though you have not subscribed to that website, this is possible because the search engine servers store your computer IP address and the product you looked out in that website. These advertisers pay the search engines and also the free e-mail providing companies a certain amount to hold the data of their website visitor. Also if they sell one product through advertisement then they will pay certain amount to free mail or search engine providers. Thus Google,Yahoo,AOL and others are making money by publicizing the private data of the net user.

There is one way that you can avoid your private data on net from publicizing.Google has launched a web history services that lets people to browse and edit the list of sites they visited in the past.Google users can opt this service but opting out of others can be tricky. It is possible to remove cookies, small text files, on a computer that sites used to remember.

Now think, are free services really free !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of them are filtered by spam busters provided by websites like Google and Yahoo to avoid spams but its not been able to completely eliminate spam mails from loading our mail space. Here is a small note i wrote on spams.....

What is Spam?

Generally, spam means unsolicited and bulk e-mail message. It is unsolicited, because the recipient did not ask for the mail so the sender didn't have verifiable permission to send it. It is bulk, because similar mails are sent to several recipients. To classify a mail as spam, it must be unsolicited and bulked. There are normal bulk mails, for example applications for a job, business solicitations, etc. There are normal unsolicited mails as well, for example newsletters, discussion lists, etc. Only those mails can be classified as spams that are unsolicited and bulk at the same time.

To determine what spam means is a really difficult task so the above-mentioned definition is not a perfect one. The biggest problem is not that the mails are unsolicited or bulk, but the fact that every e-mail not being requested, unsolicited or bulk is more expensive for the recipient than the sender in terms of money and resources.

Based on the above, the following attributes can be said about spam:

The recipient person is not important because the message has been sent to many users without change.

The recipient didn't allow a verifiable way, prudently and definitely the sending of the mail.

Sending and receiving spam mails result in unequal benefit to the sender.

Increasing problem...

Nowadays, besides viruses, spam is the most important question of the Internet. Several solutions have been made against them (regulations, spam filter softwares), but unfortunately there are no techniques, applications that can provide 100% protection at the moment. In spite of this the attack against them is going on, the content filtering applications are on the top of the security software market.

Why is it harmful?

The main damage is the waste of time spent on "handling" spam messages: recognizing, selecting, reading and/or deleting of spam mails. This could be a real problem for example in a workplace.

Moreover the "superfluous" loading of the network or mail servers is also an important question regarding processing and storage capacity.

On the user side, relevant information could be lost among the spam mails arriving in large numbers. Not to mention the deterioration of the e-mail address which becomes unusable because of being loaded by spams.

Recently, as you can see, viruses and unsolicited mail have been intertwined so some spam mail can deliver viruses as well.

They will have servers with configuration of latest cutting edge technology, to do the hard work and several experts to look after them.

Probable Solutions :

Firstly, a bank such as Northern Rock can make sure it has enough computer servers on standby, ready to swing in to action if the need arises. This can be very expensive, because for 99.9% of the time, the bank will have large numbers of servers will be idle.
However, a bank can make an arrangement with an IT company to provide the extra capacity to handle the traffic "on demand".

Secondly, a bank can put in a throttle of some sort to slow down the number of customers hitting the system second by second. The website will get slower and slower but will not crash suddenly in a overload situation on its servers. Typically, when it gets frustratingly slow, customers are automatically diverted to another temporary website which will take their contact details, perhaps their instructions, and get back to them as soon as possible.

However, some banks are focused onefficient operation and cost control above all else. They may take the view that the risk to their reputation is outweighed by the financial benefit of saving money by not putting in place contingency plans for these rare and more extreme occasions.

One of the root problems in many banks is that the business people who run the bank do not understand computers. They only understand the profits and gains in buying and selling so they end up in buying computers for cheap rate, they even don't think about the configuration of such computers and this online traffic handling is like Hebrew script for them.

I heard that there are bankers in the UK today who even get their secretary to print out all their e-mails and put them in a folder every morning! But in the age of the internet, that is completely unacceptable. Meanwhile, the IT pals don't know how to explain what they do or, more importantly, what risks are being taken as a result of the IT decisions being made.

On a day like last Friday, the scene in the IT department at Northern Rock would have been frenzied. The bank will have systems that monitor the main online banking system to alert people if there is a problem. There were probably traffic alerting monitors showing exactly what was happening, second by second, like a mission control center. That's where the IT director would have been, pacing up and down, watching developments. The alarm bells would have started ringing long before the website crashed.
It's a race against time to beef up capacity, but unfortunately on this occasion, the customer volumes grew just too quickly - and horror of horrors, the site crashed.

One thing you can be sure of, though - you learn fast in a crisis.

The Blogger attack is the latest in a series by a gang that has managed to hijack hundreds of thousands of PCs.

Attack pattern

These dummy-trapped links turning up on Blogger on 27 August. Now many hundreds of blogs on the site have been updated with a short entry containing the link.

 Storm worm subject lines :

are you kidding me? lol

Dude dont send that stuff to my home email...

Dude your gonna get caught, lol

HAHAHAHAHAHA, man your insane!

I cant belive you did this

LMAO, your crazy man

LOL, dude what are you doing

man, who filmed this thing?

oh man your nutz

OMG, what are you thinking

It is not yet clear how the links were posted to blogs. The bogus entries could have exploited a Blogger feature that lets users e-mail entries to their journal. The blogs themselves could also be fake and set up solely to act as hosts for spam.

The entries on the blogs have the same text as some of the spam distributed by the group behind the attacks. These attempt to trick people into clicking on links and downloading booby-trapped files using cleverly crafted messages. Some can be seen as YouTube links others claim to be looking for testers of software packages or digital greetings cards.

The first attack used a spam that aimed to give recipients more information about the severe storms seen in Europe. This led to the virus used by the gang being dubbed the "Storm Trojan".
Since then group has been sending out huge numbers of different spam messages in a bid to trick people.
The spam messages have been changed to capitalize on news events and the viral payload has been updated many times to fool anti-virus programs. The group can send out so much junk mail because they have hijacked so many Windows PCs via successive campaigns.

I'm observing the recent changes in the economy of my country [India], also the other countries. A fall in dollar price means a big punch to the growing markets. I'm seeing a lot of companies depending on US $ Dollar is suffering a set back in their income rates any many small companies which couldn't tolerate such a loss closed their businesses. Also the thing that wondered me most is the fact that most IT companies in INDIA are $ dependent, so a decline in the profit rate, making the employees to work on weekends also, this really sucks.I'm astonished to see not even a single company is doing business in Indian Rupee..shame on them!!!!!!
Many Banks are pouring Billions of $ into the market to stabilize the condition. lets look at this carefully, banks pouring money at specific interest rate...so banking shares will bloom up as more money will flow into banks as interest.

The best part of this declining $ price is lot of opportunity for countries like INDIA to payback the loans to world bank. Also another global market opened up for us, do u want to know what it is...????
It's the opportunity to get to buy real-estate. As most Americans failing to pay their mortgages, they are selling their properties to earn their livelihood. Also we can buy stocks at cheaper rate.

So the moral of the story is start your business in a currency of developing counties.
