Where You There at The Experience 2010 to have an Experience of a lifetime? If You did then you can share your experiences with us on this blog but if you were not so opportune to be at the Experience 2010 for one reason or the other, you ..............

but don't worry too much cause you can get a feel of it on here, but really it was better Experienced than explained or described here cause its feels like Heaven on Earth.

Here is a detailed report on how the Experience 2010 went,

I was at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) the usual venue for the Experience musical concert at about 1:50 pm at the day of the Event and was so surprised to see a huge crowd of people who were already seated under the sun in order to have a clearer view of the event. here are some photos i took as at that time

With Time more people kept trooping into the venue, i was opportune to witness some of the guest artists making sound check although some artist already did theirs before my arrival but at about 03:30 pm Don Moen came on stage for His sound check and got the waiting crowd excited as many cheered why he performs. here are few photos of Don Moen's Sound Check.

At about 05:15 pm The ground Floor was getting filled up with people already seated at the galleries see photos

At 05:30 pm Micah Stampley came on stage to conduct a sound check, rendering one of His hit songs Feels like Heaven while testing the systems. see photos.

At around 05:35 pm the place was getting filled with thousands of people already seated under the sun and at the gallery see photos.

The Experience 2010 finally started at 07:00 pm Nigerian Time with an Opening Prayer, then at about 07:10 pm The Chosen Treasure Choir came on stage to lead the worshipers on a Praise journey to the heart of Worship rendering this Songs. We Lift our Hands to the Sanctuary, King of Kings, He's a wonder and So Good, so good He's been so Good. see Photos

Some of the Artists to Perform were introduced by one of the Program Anchors and at 07:30 pm Lionel Peterson was introduced to the stage to perform and he actually landed the worshipers into The Heart of Worship with wonderful songs like I will worship the LORD - When Trouble Blows Jehovah Sees..., and Kabi O Osi O - You are GOD of the Heaven and Earth, which took the worship deep into the Heart of Worship. Yaw The Popular wazobia Radio Personality came on stage to introduce The Wellu Wellu Master, Sammy Okposu to the Stage for his performance. and the Wellu Wellu Master got everyone waving their White Handkerchiefs in the air while praising GOD with songs like Get something in Your Hand, Na The thing wey you dey give us oh, You been faithful Lord - You are Lord that Worthy, He went on to sing the Nigerian National Anthem Arise oh Compatriot and on to Jesus I thank You Wellu Wellu, E bami gbe Jesu mi ga, Ole Igwe, Agidi gba oh, Higher Higher and ended with Na only you i know. It was Time to Make some Intercessory prayers for the Nation Nigeria and 2 Pastors were called to Lead the Intercessory prayer for Power and infrastructural development in the Nation. Those called are Barrister Emeka Nwagba and Bishop Jo Musa, An Islamic Christian convert since the 1970's who has been a major force in the Hand of GOD in reaching out to our People in the North. Mike Aremu Nigeria's number one saxophonist was introduced to the stage to trill the worshipers with his GOD Giving gift and he didn't disappoint as he came out so energetic and did wonders with the saxophone while praising GOD with various songs like Awa na re Akpo ju be lo, Original, po ya chineke din ma, I Have a Father who can never never fail me, Oh LORD i am very very Grateful, This kind GOD oh, Emi ma reke, O seun Ma jo oba lo OLUWA, Tu gba raya mma mma, O mumi Gbagbe oh, Barabo JESU lo lere, Agidigba oh, O se Ose oh, Mo Gbe Hosanna, Ko si eni tio le da ju lo and OLUWA jo wa gbe mi so ke, See Photos.

After Mike Aremu's Performance it was another period of Intercession with Pastor Anselm Madubuko and Pastor Amos Kunat coming up to pray for Church Unity and breakage of denominational Barriers among Churches in Nigeria. See Photos.

Panan Pasey Paul was introduced to the stage and oh my, i have heard about Him and watched Him several Times on TV but never knew he was this Good. He Performed wonderfully rendering this songs If not for Your Mercy, We lift You High, We Overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb, Everybody testifies You are Good, We must Praise Him in the African way, Aye Hehe, I love you oh oh, Come lets praise the LORD - He is Jehovah and We worship Your Name. Pastor Paul Adefarasin The Experience Convener Came on stage to recognize some important Personalities at the event including the Executive Governor of Lagos State Babatunde Isaac Fashola who came up to the stage to make a speech. In His words he said it is My Second Experience of the Experience, He also said that the Experience is a logistic Phenomenon and while concluding wished all that they will Experience many more Experience. He was not the only important dignitary at the Experience 2010, Many other Dignitaries include, The First Lady of Lagos State, Mrs Abimbola Fashola, Former first Lady of Lagos State Mrs Oluremi Tinubu and many others. Micah Stampley Got on the stage and rendered wonderful songs that leaves one feeling like being in Heaven on Earth, He sang few but very inspirational songs like Prepare Ye the way of the LORD, Feels like Heaven on Earth and lastly Take my Heart and hold it. See Photos

Bishop Don Francis from the UK came on stage to speak on The Power of Agreement and Taking a Scriptural verse from the book of Matthew ch 18 vs 19 - 20, See Photos

The Amazing Jamaican Singer Chevelle Franklin took over the stage and without fail gave the worshipers what they expected from Her, starting Her performance with the National Anthem of Nigeria which She sang in her own remixed way, then Behold He Comes, There's nobody like Him, Then She called a Nigerian Girl by name Onos Bikawei to sing Put your hands together, then ose e, Igwe, You are a Good Shepherd, Be Thou Glorified and lastly Thank Him. Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was called to the stage to make a prayer for miracles in families and marriages while Pastor Philips Omogboye was asked to make a prayer for healing for Everyone. See Photos.

Fred Hammond took over the stage with his great vocals and took the worshipers through an over 40 minutes of unadulterated praises with inspiring songs like He's an Awesome GOD, Dance Like David danced, He Lives, I Love You - (Lord My heart is yours), Holy Holy, Worthy is the Lamb, How great is Our GOD, My GOD will do what He says He will do, Bread of Life, This is the day that the LORD has made, We are blessed in the city and finally Glory to glory to glory to GOD. Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor was called to the stage to make a general prayer for Nigeria which lasted for some minutes with many pouring out their heart in prayer to GOD for Nigeria, see Photos

Pastor Paul Adefarasin came to the stage and later called out Phil Driscoil, Micah Stampley and Onos Bikawei to sing the Nigerian Anthem

An Unprecedented Guest was introduced which got everyone so excited but the sad part of it was that the guest was not directly at the event, Behold it was the President of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, according to Pastor Paul Adefarasin the president was so excited about the event and wanted to be at the event but due to some security reasons He was asked not to attend the event so as not to pose a security threat to the event and for subsequent ones. But Everyone got excited when the President passed a Message to the Worshipers through a Multimedia system. See Photos.

Phil Driscoil the Best Trumpeter in the world who has played for several American Presidents and won several international Awards was next to perform, I was so pleased watching Him play again after a wonderful performance he gave at the Experience 2009 and this time He took it a little more further with Great songs like Amazing Grace, Majesty, King of All Kings, Nigeria it will never be the same (A song he composed for Nigeria), LORD you been so good to Me, For Thou oh LORD art High and lastly I Exalt Thee. Bishop Mike Okonkwo of Trem and Pastor Collins Akinmogboye were called to lead another Intercessory prayer section for the Nation, For Peace in the Niger Delta and prayer for the persecuted Christian Brethren in the North. See Photos.

Judy Jacobs took over the stage to trill the Worshipers with some minutes of High level Praises and dances, it was my first time seeing her perform really but i haven't seen a woman of her age performing and dancing with so much strength as she did. See Took all through this songs You are Jehovah, GOD says he will turn me around, Rain down the Rain, Here I am to worship, Spirit of the Living GOD fall afresh on me and Lastly Behold He Comes See Photos.

Pastor Sam Adeyemi and Young Pastor Damilola Oluwatoyibo were called up to the stage to make another round of intercessory prayers for all See Photos.

Ron Kenoly was called up to the stage to Revive strength with his songs among the worshipers who have been standing and praising GOD for several Hours with some already getting weak and His presence on the stage got Everyone shouting and revived as many who were already sitting down stood up to join Him in an half hour praise as He lead them through songs like Hallowed Be Your Name, He's Alive (Hallelujah), Ancient of Days, Jesus is a Winner Man, Born Born Born Again, You are the pillar that holds My Life, I just want to say Baba oh E se, Jehovah You are the Most High then finally He Called up Israel Houghton to join Him on stage to sing You are Alpha and Omega. After Ron Kenoly's performance, it was time for some laughs from the Experience Comedians Gordons and Mc Abbey. they said few funny jokes just to ease some stress and weakness from the Worshipers before going into the last round of Praises from the Few Artists left to perform.

Don Moen the Multi talented Gospel Artist was next to get on the stage and get the praises high to the Heavens and He did nothing short of that as his presence on the stage made everyone excited with those who were already sleeping before then getting up to join in those moments of Praise. Don Moen started with songs like Our Father (Hear Our Pray), Holy is the LORD, I am the LORD that healeth thee, Thank You LORD, LORD I offer my Life to You, I just want to be where You are, Arise, I will sing, He never sleeps, I will be still, GOD will make a way and ended with GOD is good. After Don Moen's Performance it was time to hear some Wonderful Words of Life from the Bible and the Oracle of GOD for the early hours of the day was Bishop Tudor Bismark whose message was taken from the book of Acts ch 16 vs 25 and 26, about the story of Paul and Silas when they prayed and sang praises to GOD insomuch that the power of GOD came down and there was an earthquake and all the doors were opened to them. And the Gospel according to Luke ch 15, about the Three (3) Parables of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST which represents

After Bishop Tudor Bismark's ministration it was then time for the Real Experience, as Rev Victor Adeyemi came to minister a salvation message to all and to lead many to the Cross to have an indelible Experience with JESUS CHRIST and to accept Him as their LORD and Saviour many responded to this call and gave their lives to CHRIST and also filled the New Convert forms. This was really the most important part of the Experience cause there is no other Experience better than this as this is an Experience that can change ones life and rightly secure ones life here on earth and in Eternity.

Pastor Paul Adefarasin joined Rev Victor on stage to share His life's experience of how he gave his life to CHRIST by answering the call of GOD and how that has so changed him. After all Prayers were made for all who were willing to be save.

At Few Minutes to 05:00 am
Mary Mary the Duo Gospel Singers of Excellence took over the stage to break every shackles of weaknesses from off the Worshipers and they did just that with lovely songs like In the Morning, I wanna go, Heaven, Something big done happen to me, I can't give up now, Yesterday I decided, Amazing Grace, It's the GOD in Me and Finally Break the Shackles off My Feat(Just wanna Praise You). After Mary Mary's performance Pastor Emmanuel Udoafia was called on stage to make another round of Prayers for few minutes.

At Few minutes past 05:00 am
Israel Houghton was next to perform after giving a piece with Ron Kenoly while singing You are Alpha and Omega, he came on stage and offered a full dose of assorted Praises with songs like We love You JESUS, Here I am to worship, You are Good, All Around, Trading My Sorrows, Rejoice in the LORD, I will praise You for ever, I have decided to follow JESUS, You make all things new, I am not afraid and Finally HE knows my name. After Israel Houghton's Performance Yaw and MC Abbey came on stage for a final round of jokes before the last performer of the Event comes on stage.

At Few Minutes to 06:00 am
Papa Sam After waiting long while other Artists performed finally took over the stage and rendered wonderful songs which i was not able to pen down at that time, and some people were already finding their way home but he did made use of the rest of the Time and trilled all that were still around and awake.

The Experience 2010 Finally came to an end.

It was indeed an Experience that will live on in the hearts of everyone who witnessed it.

The Experience 2010, What An Experience it Was...

The Experience 2010 was indeed a great Experience for Everyone with over 500,000 People Praising and Worshiping GOD with One Voice and One Heart. It was indeed Heaven on Earth,

The Event started at 7:00 pm and ended some minutes past 6 am. The Attendance was far more than what was witnessed Last year setting a new record as the Biggest Gospel Musical Concert in The World.

I will be posting more on how the Experience 2010 went giving you bit by bit tips on how it went, the Artists, The Songs they Sang and All that happened with Pictures and Videos.

The Prerequisite For A Great Experience at The Experience 2010

As we get Closer to The Experience 2010 with less than a day left to the main event, we must Bear in mind the real purpose while such an event is being Organized and why we are all bringing out our time to converge for such an event.

An Event like this is such that calls for a real circumcision of heart. It is as the days when the Children of Isreal were to come before the LORD at Mount Sinai on the Third day and they were asked by GOD to come with a Prepared and Circumcised heart because it was going to be a great experience for them, encountering GOD in HIS majesty.

The Experience 2010 is an event that is Bringing us into the Court of Heaven and we are to come prepared to meet with the Awesome Being of Heaven and it really would be a Great Encounter that will be an Experience that will live on with all who are really prepared mind, body and soul for this.

GOD is always ready to meet with those who come prepared for HIM, and He had said that They who come to HIM shall in no wise be cast away, but He would not want any to come as HIS people come and Praise HIM as HIS people does and yet having a mind that is far from HIM as a result of Sin, For HE did say that the prayers of a Sinner is an Abomination before HIM and how much more the Praises of a sinner, Such praises will seem like the vinegar given to HIM on the cross instead of a Sweet smelling savor to HIM.

So Dear Reader, Are you coming to GOD with such a Heart that is unprepared or uncircumcised, Do you actually Know GOD, Have you gotten a personal experience with CHRIST. for that is the prerequisite to a Great Experience at the Experience 2010. If Not, Why not get that Experience with HIM now as he is always at the door of Your Heart Knocking and waiting for the day you will let him in. for HE is the Friend at the door but HE will not forever wait at the door but when the time is up HE will get off that door and then the Enemy by the Side of the door will find his way to the door and wouldn't wait for you to open to him but will force his way in and he only comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Don't wait for the Friend at the Door to depart before you seek him, just open the Door To Him and HE would come in. You can do this by Recognizing and Acknowledging Yourself as one who has derailed from HIS purpose and as one who is incapacitated and can't help or save oneself but now in need of a Saviour and then Acknowledge HIM as one who can save you, then confess your sins and faults to him in repentance, determining never to derail from HIM again, then ask HIM to come into Your life to be Your LORD and Personal Saviour and then make a commitment to always walk with HIM for the rest of Your life, Believing and trusting in HIS finished work at Calvary then Gladly Thank HIM for Answering your prayers and accepting you into his fold. and now you can declare HIS good work in your Life to Others while still thanking HIM.

After This, You are now qualified for a Great Experience with GOD at the Experience 2010 Gospel Musical Concert. and You will see how marvelous GOD is going to move in Your Life as HE Inhabits the Praises of HIS people.

The Experience Lagos 2010 Countdown Less Than 3 Days

The Day is almost here, The Long Awaited Day of Experiences For All, A Day Heaven and Earth will meet, A Day the Earth will stand Still, A Day the Clouds will be Opened, A Day The Bright and The Morning Star will Arise in His Entire Majesty, A Day when the True Worshipers will be Gathered To Seek the True GOD in Spirit and in Truth.

A Day of Refreshing, A Day of Renewal, A Day of Many Signs and Wonders, A Day of Judgment, A Day of Upliftment for All and for the Nation Nigeria which had been let down in the drain for so long a time, A Day Light will Shine on those who hitherto had dwelt in darkness all their Lives. A Day Praises will go up and Blessings in reciprocation will come down, A Day The Father Shall be Pleased and the Children shall Rejoice.

A Day that is Better Experienced Than Explained To Anyone. It is an Experience of a Life Time.

The Countdown is still on to the Worlds Biggest Gospel Music Concert The Experience 2010, in case you are still having a doubt about the Event, Here are few things you need to know about the Experience 2010.

Q : Who is going to feature at this year's concert?

A : This year's event will feature Panam Percy Paul, Fred Hammond, Phil Driscoll, Judy Jacobs, Don Moen, Papa San, Mary Mary, Mike Aremu, Sammy Okposo, Micah Stampley, Israel Houghton, Chevelle Franklyn, Ron Kenoly and Lionel Peterson.

Q : Where is the concert venue?

A : The Experience has come to find a home at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos. The venue, constructed in 1972, in honour of the first Prime Minister of Nigeria is located in the heart of Lagos Island, Nigeria's commercial nerve centre. The TBS was designed to provide hire facilities for a number of gatherings. It has two pavilions on 4 floors enclosing an open arena of 36,000 squares meters. This location has hosted major functions like Independence Day celebrations. Following the unprecedented attendance last year, the organizers have opened up the other wing of the gallery seating. Also, additional bleacher style seating will be constructed on the side bordering the Cricket pitch (facing the former National Assembly building) to allow more participants in this year.

Q : What time is the concert?

A : The Experience concert is scheduled to start at 7pm on Friday, the 3rd of December and run till the early hours of Saturday morning. This enthralling and uplifting concert is guaranteed to keep your toes tapping, your hands clapping, your lips singing and your body moving.

Q : How safe will the venue be?

A : Typically TBS evokes an imagery of dense Lagos City's hustle and bustle during the day, and at night it's a poorly lit and sparsely populated location..., but not during The Experience concert! In the two years since the concert began the organizers have placed the security and comfort of the concert audience as its highest priority and are grateful to note that they have maintained an incident-free event. The most recurring attestation of the event is the success of the security arrangement in the last two outings. The concert provides its audience a safe alternative for family recreation and world class entertainment.

* Security:

A very large contingent of security officials will be deployed within and around the concert venue, at all designated car parks, and along the route to the venue to ensure the safety of your person and your property. There will also be armed security patrol and easily identifiable security posts around the venue, parking areas and access roots.

* Lights:

The concert organizers are also providing security flood lights to illuminate all designated parking lots, concert routes, adjoining streets and of course at the venue. The Experience concert lights up downtown Lagos every year.

* Conveniences:

To accommodate the very many music fans and guests, there will be clean, easily accessible mobile lavatories strategically located at the concert venue.

* Concession:

Food and drinks will be available for purchase at concession stands at designated points in the venue and all through the event.

The Experience is here again For the Year 2010, and it promises to be an overwhelming lifetime Experience for all. Preparations are in top gear to make this years event the best ever and it is not really far fetched as i have been reading through several pages and blogs online and noticed how excited people are about it.

The date for This year's event is on Friday the 3rd of December 2010 The Time is 07:00 PM
The Venue is The Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos Nigeria.
The Featuring Artists are - Panam Percy Paul, Fred Hammond, Phil Driscoll, Judy Jacobs, Don Moen, Papa San, Mary Mary, Mike Aremu, Sammy Okposo, Micah Stampley, Israel Houghton, Chevelle Franklyn, Ron Kenoly and Lionel Petersen.

If there is one place you should be on that day it should definitely be at the experience ground at TBS. As it is better experienced than explained to anyone, Although i will be posting how the event went and photos on here but you should rather Experience the Experience than feel it on here.

The Experience since its inception has been a life Changing event and blessings to so many people with so many testimonies abounding to prove its worth. The Experience 2009 was a Greater Experience for all as it featured some of the very best of Gospel musicians like Don Moen, Bebe and Cece Winans, Phi Driscoil, Chevelle Franklin, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, Donnie Mc Cluckin, Ron Kenoly and some Nigerian Gospel artists like Lara George, Mike Aremu, Ebenezer Obey, Roof Top MCs, Timi Dakolo, Nikki Laoye, Sammy Okposu and the Chosen Treasures and Lionel Peterson. The Experience Lagos 2009, How It All Went

The Experience 2009 Has come and Gone, Comments and Testimony keeps coming in from those who were opportune to be at the Concert, For all Those who could not make it to the Event here's a quick Highlight post on how the Event went.

The Event was Scheduled to start at Exactly 7:00 Pm on the 4th of December 2009, But Several Hours before the Start of the Concert Thousands of People were already seated, I was able to get to the venue at few minutes to 3:00 pm with the mind that i would easily get a Seat at the forefront but was shocked to see the huge crowd already Seated under the Sun so as to get a more clearer view of the Event.

Several Artist came out on stage and thrilled the waiting Crowd while testing the Instruments before the start of the event. Here are few pictures of Don Moen and Donnie Mc Cluckin trilling the waiting crowd while testing the instruments

Thousands of People Kept trooping into the Venue in so much that the main TBS ground was filled up before the main start of the Concert and Some people had to resort to the TBS Cricket pitch where a Large Screen Monitor was mounted for them from where they were able to watch the Event as it happens.

At Last The Long Awaited Event Finally kicked off at about 07 :30 pm with The whole Crowd Cheering as the Program Comperes took hold of the Mic, Soon The Praise and Worship started with the in-house choir of the House on the Rock, the Chosen Treasure with Lionel Peterson opening the stage for other performers and praise singers.

After The Opening Praise and worship by The Chosen Treasures and Lionel Peterson, The Wellu Wellu Master, Sammy Okposu came to lift the expectations of the Worshipers high with some of His Hit songs including Wellu Wellu see pictures of Sammy Okposu at the Experience 2009 here. After Him came one of Nigeria's Finest female gospel singers Lara George.

Lara George lifted up praises with the song Hallelujah and then moved into there's nobody like you LORD, before delivering her spirit lifting Ijoba Orun hit track which really propelled the worshipers into an atmosphere of worship as some of the worshipers sang the song with tears in their eyes and she was greatly applauded at the end of her performance. see pictures of Lara George at the Experience 2009 here

After Lara George's performance, it was a time for all to laugh a little as Nigeria's number 1 gospel comedian Gordons came out to give some of his funny jokes after that it was the time for the first winner of the West African Idol Timi Dakolo to thrill the worshipers with his vocal talent and he didn't disappoint the cheerful crowd as they applauded him well after his performance.

Timi Dakolo started with His Song Let it Shine which was coined from the popular song that kids love singing, "this little light of mine, am gonna let it shine ..." after that he went into single some of the very popular gospel songs like Ta lo Da bi re, Oluwa, Ibu Chukwu onye dinma, O yigi yigi oh oh oh, A labari Eda ah and he finally ended of with When i remember what the LORD has done, which i guess was inspired by the great deliverance GOD granted to him when he suffered from a gun shot wound in the head at an encounter with dare-devil armed robbers. Although most of the songs Timi sang wasn't his originally composed songs but many weren't disappointed by his performance. see pictures of Timi Dakolo at the Experience 2009 here

The Gorgeously Dressed Jamaican, Chevelle Franklin was next to perform after Timi Dakolo, she and her backup singers came out in their usual African outfit dress made with the Jamaican flag color. The worshipers welcomed her with high expectations remembering how she performed energetically at the Experience 2008 and she didn't disappoint as she went from one song to the other while Worshiping and praising GOD.

Chevelle started with " You are the pillar that holds my life, Glory glory LORD you are the mighty GOD, You are the mighty GOD the great I am Hallelujah, Do something new in my life, All Around (2ce), Everywhere I look he is all around, You are GOD I know, Unchangeable, unstoppable, We are not afraid (3ce) in my Jesus I am safe, Double double everything na double double, I have a father who will never fail me, Lift Him up Higher, Bu lieya elu, I have a very big GOD oh and Jehovah you are the most high. see pictures of Chevelle Franklin at the Experience 2009 here

After Chevelle Franklin's performance it was time to make some prayers and after the prayers at about 09:30 pm the aging classic gospel artist Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi took over the stage with some of his traditional gospel music backed up with some Gan gan drumming.

The Evangelist happily praised GOD for close to 30 minutes with songs like Jesu mi olore oh, Come and worship Him, He is great, Ko le gbemi oh, Pata pata, E gbe gah, Ose un oh Jesu, Thank You Jesus. it was indeed a thrilling time for me as it was my first time seeing him perform live. see pictures of Evangelist Ebenezer Obey at the Experience 2009 here

Mike Aremu one of Nigeria's best saxophonist was next to take over the stage after Evangelist Ebenezer Obe's performance at about 10:00 pm and he did wonders with the saxophone while rendering to GOD such praises like Oluwa mi ose oh, Higher higher higher - higher Jesus higher, He is a mighty GOD, Ose eyiye - we don win oh, modupe, Arugbo ojo, Ka bi esi oh, Ose oh, Ogbulu won elu higher higher. see pictures of Mike Aremu at the Experience 2009 here After the Saxophonist came another Nigerian female singer Nikki Laoye who took over the stage at 10:30 pm.

Nikki Laoye performed very energetically with her dance group as they did some choreography session, She trilled the worshipers with her rap skills as she rolled out this songs, Enyi ni Oba, Pate wo ni afi yemo ti o gba more, Baba baba baba baba baba mi loke and lastly her break through song I’ve never felt this way before. see pictures of Nikki Laoye at the Experience 2009 here

At About 11:00 pm The multi-instrumentalist, producer, vocalist and multiple award winning artist Fred Hammond came on stage and lead the worshipers in an explosive session of worship to GOD with lovely songs like - You are you are, You are lord of the Harvest, We worship you, Raise up, Send the praise up, He’s here (A New Single from His Latest Album) Love unstoppable, You are worthy I love you, You are holy, Worthy is the Lamb, How great is our GOD, Bread of life, This is the day that the Lord has made, We are blessed, Glory to glory to GOD, I will dance like David danced. see pictures of Fred Hammond at the Experience 2009 here

The Rooftop Mcs (Adeyoola Adekunle 'Soulsnatcha' and Olaitan Hughes 'Sokleva') came on to perform after Fred Hammond and did not let down the tempo for all but did a good performance that left the crowd cheering as they performed their songs - Emi Emi Laye mi, Lagi mo, (Ori Min wu o E lagi mo).

After the Rooftop Mcs's performance the Convener Pastor Paul Adefarasin came out to make some speech and also called out 2 among the performers to sing the Nations National Anthem, Lara George and Phil Driscoil were those called to sing the National Anthem a verse apiece. And they did Justice to it as they sang it with great passion with the whole worshipers standing and singing along with them.

After that the Governor of Lagos state Babatunde Isaac Fashola whose middle name was changed from Raji to Isaac was called on stage to make a speech to all which he did after giving His speech it was time to make some intercessory prayer for the nation. Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of Word of Life Bible Church lead the Intercessory Prayers.

At about 50 minutes past 12 midnight an unexpected performer came on stage to the surprise of Many and it was Ron Kenoly, Majority of the worshipers had believed he would not be able to make it to the Concert but to GOD be the Glory He was able to make it. He performed graciously with the worshipers so delighted praising GOD for Him as He was celebrating his birthday the next day after the Experience concert. He sang – Righteousness peace joy in the Holy Ghost, This is the year of Jubilee, Victory, He’s turned my mourning into dancing and then dazed the worshipers as he sang - I just want to say Baba oh e se and You are the pillar that holds my life so fluently without errors or going off key , and then ended with - Hallowed be thy name. see pictures of Ron Kenoly at the Experience 2009 here

Next was Phil Driscoil a Contemporary Christian Singer, Composer, Multi award winner and a World class Trumpet player who showed his much Love for the LORD by singing so passionately while praising the HIGH AND LOFTY ONE THAT INHABITS ETERNITY. He sang and also blew the Trumpet at some point he was joined by Tom Brooks and Pastor Paul Adefarasin. He Sang – Lord you have been so good to me, Lord you are so beautiful, Majesty, You are great – you do miracles so great- there is no one else like you – for there is no one else like you, Holy holy holy, He’s alive again – the stone been rolled away – he’s no longer where he laid – I can hear the angels say let the whole world rejoice He’s alive. After Him Apostle Ricardo Watson and Pastor Sam Adeyemi Came on stage for another round of Prayer for the Nation and the African Continent in general.

At about 3:00 pm Don Moen One of the Greatest and inspiring gospel singer of our time came out and did what he knows how to do best, the multiple award winner perform for close to an hour before retiring, he sang the songs – Give thanks, Thank you Lord, Arise take your place, We lift You up, Lord I offer my life to you, I just wanna be where You are, Be magnified oh Lord, I will sing, I will Praise, I will be still and know you are GOD, GOD will make a way, Still I believe there is more, I worship you, there is none like you, GOD is good. The Experience 2009 was indeed an Experience none should have missed as nothing was left out in making it a great experience for all, with so many performers and Praises made it was time to listen to GOD's word for some few minutes with Bishop Tudor Bismark from Kenya dishing out the Message to all from the Scriptures of Truth. He took His text from Genesis 15 verse 1- 5, and made this Comments i will never forget – Name Your stars, Reach for your Stars and Achieve your Stars, he also drew some insights from Acts chapter 3, about Man at the Beautiful Gate.

His Ministration was really edifying and enriching. After the Message He Sang You are Alpha and Omega, before a Salvation Prayer was made for all who wants to Give their Life to JESUS CHRIST. which really is the essence of the Gathering for All to Come to the SAVIOR who says Come unto ME all ye that are Labored and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. after the Salvation Prayer, followed a Prayer for Healings made by Bishop Mike Okonkwo of TREM

Next to Perform were Bebe and Cece Winans The American gospel music Brother and Sister duo and multiple award Winners who trilled the worshipers with songs like – Celebrate good Life, Addicted Love, Love takes me higher, Heaven is where I want to be, I wanna be the one, I just wanna be close to you, They Sang a new Song gotten this month Titled, If GOD be for us – who can be against us – He whom he predestinates – them He also called – He whom he called – them He also Justified - He whom he Justified - them He also Glorified - So what do we say of all these things (then Chorus) - If GOD be for us – who can be against us (Calls Donnie Mc Cluckin to Join Him in Song). and then ended with I take you there. With Hours already spent Worshiping and Praising GOD, the worshipers were still eager and yearning for more and their strength were renewed to sing as Donnie Mc Cluckin took over the stage and took all through the heart of worship.

Donnie Mc Cluckin trilled all with these songs – These are the Days - Behold he comes riding on the Clouds, I call you Holy,- Righteous,- Awesome,- Faithful,- Healer,- Savior,- All that. How great is Our GOD, Holy holy holy, Thank you Jesus thank You, I have made up my mind, Born Born Born Again, Jesus name so sweet - Emmanuel’s name so sweet,

Donnie Mc Cluckin made an Important and encouraging Remark about Nigeria that in America they might be said to have so many things there but that They got nothing in America Like these Experience, and then he wind up his performance with I will sing Holy holy. After Donnie's Performance MC Abbey and Yaw were called on stage to make all laugh out some stress, sorrow and tiredness, the crowd cheered while listening to them. they were joined on stage by Kirk Franklin whom MC Abbey took a Joke on that He though being short is a shade taller than Kirk Franklin which left all laughing.

At Last it was time for Kirk Franklin to Perform, He was hindered from performing last year as a result of the heavy downpour witnessed last year at the Experience 2008 and so he was giving the rest of the time to perform and he came out energetically and performed tirelessly for more than an hour. Before singing he requested to be taught some Nigerian dance steps and got some volunteers from the worshipers but wasn't pleased with their dance pattern as some displayed a mixture of American dance step instead of the local dance steps until MC Abbey came and gave him the Dance steps he wished for to the amazement of all.

Kirk Franklin sang - Our GOD is an awesome GOD, You don’t have to worry, Imagine Me, Gone gone its gone all gone, Hosanna forever we worship you, Heart of Worship, Hallelujah, I sing because am happy, That’s the reason why I sing, Holy is he Lamb, I am here, I’ve been looking for you, Make me wanna dance, and Finally Revolution.

After Kirk's Performance all the Artists were called up to the stage to congratulate Ron Kenoly whose Birthday was just a day away. and they all came and sang the popular Happy Birthday song for Ron Kenooly after which he too got the mic and sang again the native Nigeria song (I just want to say BABA oh E Se) After that they all made comments about their Experiences at the Experience 2009 and promised to be back in 2010.

After that was done the Final Benediction was made and Seven (7) Hallelujah was made and used to call the event to an end while those who Gave their Life to CHRIST JESUS were called to be encouraged and counseled. Also all were invited to an Audition for Black Entertainment Television (BET) USA at the EKO Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday december 6 2009 where the Winner will be offered a recording Contract and flown to the US and appear on the Sunday show hosted by Kirk Franklin.

At Last the Whole Experience at the Experience 2009 that lasted for 11 hours came to an end at exactly 06:30 AM on Saturday with the Worshipers, The Convener and the Performers and all including the JESUS Boys of whom among them were the Lagos Area boys, All were Richly Blessed and All Rose to Finally Pray The Grace before Finally Departing.

For Me it was indeed a Great Experience and i can't but Thank GOD ALMIGHTY for making it possible for us all and also thank the Convener and Organizers and all who Worked to make it a Great Success.

The Experience 2009 was an event that brought together people from all works of life, all gathered together to Praise the one and only true GOD, no matter their creed, denominations or religion all came with one heart, one voice and sang praise to One GOD.

Among those that attended the Experience 2009 was The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babatunde Isaac Fashola who had his Middle name changed from Raji to Isaac, He also Testified that it was a Good Experience as he came on stage to make a speech to All.

Other notable attendees of the events are the First lady of Lagos State, Mrs Abimbola Fashola, Former head of state - Retired General Yakubu Gowon, Minister of State for Petroleum, Mr. Odein Ajumogobia, SAN, Pastors and Church Leaders, Actresses Monalisa Chinda, Stephanie Okereke and Many others.
