Good evening guys!

Alvin's really weird. I keep telling him to tell me his plans beforehand para walang biglaan. Akalain niyo ba naman kanina he told me that he's playing golf again tomorrow morning. I told him I have to do my ManCom report for Tuesday. I have to do it outside the house because I won't be able to work at home with Anika here. Napaka-demanding kasi ng batang yun. Eh I don't like to go out of the house if Alvin's not here.

You see guys, I really am very stressed for Tuesday. The reporting will affect the group that I'm heading. Ubos na nga fingernails ko sa kaka-ngatngat ko eh.

ME: I'm seriously stressed talaga Babe. Dapat kasi di ba sinabi mo ng maaga yang golf mo.

ALVIN: Ano ba naman kasi ang sinabi ko tungkol diyan sa pagtratrabaho mo?

Yeah. I've heard it a thousand times. I don't need to stress myself at work kasi daw kung tutuusin, hindi ko daw kailangan magtrabaho. Pwedeng pwede naman daw ako magStay-at-Home-Mom. Kaya naman niya kami buhayin. Well, unang una, hindi ko kaya not to work. As in seriously, hindi ko kaya. I've already told you guys this. I crave for the busy-ness. I crave for the challenge. Gusto ko nagtratrabaho ako. I need that for myselft. And two, wala nang plastikan, I cannot do away with all my luho talaga. Once I stop working, I know, I need to take away all the excess stuff that I buy and make gastos of.

ME: You know my answer to that question.

Naguilty ata ang lolo mo because he came to me again.

ALVIN: Gusto mo Babe, bigyan kita ng pera tapos magshopping muna kayo ni Anika tomorrow sa Greenbelt habang naggogolf ako?

ME: No thanks.

Nakita ko nagulat ang asawa ko.

ALVIN: Tama ba ang narinig ko?! Ayaw mo magshopping?!

ME: I'm too stressed to shop Babe. All I want tomorrow is to do and study my report.

ALVIN: Stressed ka nga. Sigurado ka? O sige, dadagdagan ko yung budget mo pang shopping.

Ano ito, kwarta o kahon?!

ME: No thanks.

ALVIN: Sigurado ka ba?!

ME: Wala naman kasi ako ngayon kailangan bilhin eh.

ALVIN: Wow! Is that you?! Sigurado ka? Huling tanong ko na ito.

I can feel the shopping devil in me kicking me. Yung Zara shorts nga pala ano! And I need to buy a new overnight bag for my Baguio trip. And Anika needs to buy new bottle nipples. And it's been a while since I last bought shoes. And maluluwag na lahat ng pants ko sa akin!

Kaso seriously, I won't enjoy shopping hangga't hindi natatapos yang reporting na yan sa Tuesday.

Sana hindi ko pagsisihan ito.

ME: Hindi talaga Babe. Bilisan mo na lang umuwi bukas para makagawa na ako ng report agad.

Alvin finally left me alone after that.

Mommy Fleur Day 2013: Outfits

Here are my outfits of the day yesterday.

Because I was going to run some errands before the actual party like picking up raffle prizes at the Mommy Mundo office, picking up the cake at Tazzy Cakes and decorating the venue, I wanted to wear something very comfy. Pekpek shorts it is!

Top: Cotton On, Belt: Forever 21; Shorts: Mango; Wedges: CLN

I shopped for my Mommy Fleur Day outfit last Friday. Ako lang magisa though Wowa and Faye followed. I saw this top and shorts from Mango. I wanted to buy it na talaga kaso lang nagdalawang isip ako sa shorts because it looked like parang nakapantulog ako. Baka hindi fab na fab for me.

I got the top na lang muna. I told myself I'll show it first to Faye and go back na lang if she likes it. However, while we were making ikot, I found this really cute pair of shorts at The Ramp. Doily lang ang peg. Lol.

The Mommy Fleur Day: Two Hours After

Maraming, maraming, maraming salamat!

No, this is not yet the official post of the Mommy Fleur Day that happened this afternoon. Antayin natin ang mga fantastic photos from the Michelle Pineda-Pastoril. Super saya ko lang na feeling ko sasabog ako paghindi ko nailabas ito. Wala kasi akong makausap eh. Anika is asleep now. Alvin's out playing basketball (matatalo daw sila pagdi siya naglaro kasi walang magsusubstitute sa mga players). So I'm here at our living room with my aching legs up the table. Every inch ng kalamnan ko ay sumasakit pero wala akong pakialam.

I am absolutely, very, very, happy today!

Thank you so much guys for coming and supporting my very first ever Mommy Fleur Day.

Kanina while at the party, sinolo ako ni Peachy. Nakatitig lang ang bestfriend ko sa akin. I asked her why. Wala lang daw. Pero I saw that she was so proud of me. A lot of people came. Nakakataba ng puso talaga. I felt my throat tighten. I was going to cry of happiness anytime that time. Buti na lang tinawag ako ni Arnaiz. Picture taking daw kami nina Pineda and Bing.

While I was having my photos taken with my bestfriends, dun na nagsink in. Grabe the support I felt that I got from them. Naluha na talaga ako ng bongga lalo na when I saw again the personalized items that Pineda made for me.

Si Arnaiz, nagdidistribute ng kung anik anik sa lahat ng guests. Todo asikaso levels! She doesn't normally do that. Dugong bughaw yan eh. Di ba prominent nga? =)

Bing still went to the party even if she was ngarag already because the Pawn Stars were here. Trabaho niya yun eh. Dumating pa din siya.

Vivian made sure I got the fabulous book (that everyone and I wanted) for the raffle. Mega follow up yan and check days before the party.

Peachy made sure she attended even if injured siya.

Janis wasn't able to make it because birthday ng hubby niya but she still sent a beautiful and touching text message to tell me that she's so proud of me.

Naiyak na talaga ako.

Yan ang reason mga bakla why I didn't have na the speeches chenes kanina sa program. Maiiyak lang talaga ako. This is also the reason why dito na lang ako magpapasalamat sa inyong lahat.

First, thank you to Alvin and Anika for being my source of inspiration sa blog ko. Kung wala sila, malamang wala akong makukwento.

Thank you to Wowa, LT and Faye for being super supportive from the start. Si Wowa, iba ang support niyan. All the way talaga. Next year daw, magpaparaffle na siya ng microwave oven. Chos. Faye stayed up super late with me last night preparing everything. Madaling araw na gumagawa pa yan ng mga pansabit kong Mommy Fleur Day. LT as usual manned the kitchen. Partida, injured din yan ha.

Good morning guys!

I'm at the office already. I can't believe I'm saying this but I missed my office ha? And I can't believe that it's Thursday already! Napakabilis ng time. Dalawang tulog na lang, Mommy Fleur Day na!!! I'm so egzoited!!! For those of you who have not rsvp'ed yet to my e-invite, please do so mga bakla! Go! Go! Go! =)

Before I continue, here's my outfit of the day today:

Nawala ng konti ang excitement ko to go to work when I received a call from a crying Anika this morning. I left kasi the house while she was still sleeping.

ME: Hi Anika!

ANIKA (crying): Nanaaaayyy! You left me! Where you are now?

ME: No anak. I didn't leave you. I just went to work.

ANIKA: Waaaaahhhh! No! I don't like! Please don't leave me!

ME: Don't cry na. I promise I'll be home early ha? You wait for me. Kain ka na breakfast there then you can play na.

ANIKA (still crying): No! I don't want! Nanay only! Come back Nanay please!!!

ME: Anak di ba I told you Nanay needs to work so that we can buy you milk and books?

ANIKA: Nooooo!!! (sniff) You said Nanay and Anika, together forever!

Diyos ko. I thought my heart would break in two. In fairness sa anak ko ha, she knows what to say para bulls' eye talaga ang tama sa akin. She was pacified when I told her that we'll go on a picnic again while watching TV later.

Yan. That is one of the reasons why it's hard being a working mom. I thought it will be easier as they grow older. Hindi pala. I thought masasanay ako sa guilty feeling, hindi pala. That feeling will never go away. Masasanay ka ng konti but it will still hurt everytime. Bawi bawi na lang after. I'm just praying that when Anika gets older, she will understand like I did why mommies need to work. Hindi naman ako nangangamba. Matalino ang anak ko. She will understand =)

Anyways, I have kwento.

I was really bored na talaga yesterday. As in mega mega bored. Good thing Pineda texted. She was asking asan daw kami. I told her to come over instead na lang. Alvin will cook dinner and I will make timpla iced tea. Hahahaha!

I texted Arnaiz too. I'm lucky that I have bestfriends who live nearby. Isang tawag lang, gorabelles na agad.

Alvin cooked this delicious ulam called Luto sa Pinya. I dunno with them mga ateng. Ganyan sina Alvin sa bahay nila. Meron din silang ulam na ang title ay Luto sa Pickles. Meron ding Luto sa Patis. It's so funny. Pero masasarap ha? =) Ganyan sila dito sa Paranaque, ganyan din ba sa inyo? =)

Anyways, as usual, riot na naman sa house and it's not only because of these two cute and adorable kids.

What do you expect? Nagsama sama na naman kaming 3. Nandyan na naman si Arnaiz a.k.a. Miss Prominent Family.

We were talking about all our gastos and why I don't have credit cards.

ALVIN: Wala. Walang credit card yan si Nana.

ME: Ayoko na niyan mga ateng. Hindi ko talaga kaya i-control. Ayoko na umabot ulit sa demandahan levels! Nakakastress! Ikaw Arnaiz, may credit card ka?

ARNAIZ: Oo pero wala akong utang.

JR: Okay sana maging katulad nito ni Arnaiz eh. Dugong bughaw. Hindi kailangan magtrabaho.

ARNAIZ: Ano kayo noh! Lahat ng gastos ko pinagtratrabahuan ko yun!

PINEDA: May trabaho ka na?!

ARNAIZ: Wala. Naghahanap pa lang.

Hahahahaha!

ARNAIZ: Eto kasing asawa ko eh. Sabi sa akin maghanap na daw ako ng trabaho. Parang ako, omg, kailangan ko ba talaga magtrabaho?! Kainis. Wala na kasi pumapasok na inheritance ngayon eh.

Boom! Hahahaha! Yan mga bakla ang tinatawag nating first world problems!

And siyempre, magpapahuli ba si Pineda?!

PINEDA: Uy guess what?! Kilala niyo ba si (insert name here)?! Nagkita kami dun sa isang wedding. Nagkausap kami. Sabi niya sa akin.... Umm... Umm... Ano nga ba sabi niya sa akin?

Four Days At Home Can Make You Go Loco =D

It's still raining!!!!

Alvin was hanging out on our bed watching TV. Relax na relaxed siya. I wish I could say I was too. Being home for four days is starting to get into my nerves. Ang aligaga ko mga ateng. Paikot ikot ako sa bahay. Hindi ako mapakali. Gusto ko magexercise kaso I can't go to the gym kasi baha. I want to buy something sa grocery. I want to buy stuff for Saturday's event. Hindi talaga ako taong bahay, I swear.

Please don't get me wrong. I love spending time with Anika. Pero for four days, I felt parang nagawa na namin ang lahat lahat! We cooked together, ate together, played together, painted together, read books together, studied together, danced together, bathed together, put on make up together, picnic in front of the TV at naturuan ko na din siyang magmodel sa catwalk.

May mga tao din talaga siguro na ganito ano?! I refuse to believe what Alvin said. Abnormal daw ako.

Bwahahaha!

Anyways, one of the reasons why I'm aligaga is the get together that I will be having for my blog readers and mommy blogger friends. There are still some stuff I have to iron out. By the way, I emailed you guys already those who want to go ha? Please let me know if you didn't receive an email.

And yuh tuloy pa din ang Mommy Fleur Day on Saturday. Wag na natin i-postpone. Pagbigyan niyo na ako. It's very simple lang naman. Oh wait. Speaking, lemme take this opportunity din to tell you guys who will be going on Saturday, if you want to give donations to the victims of Maring, please bring it on Saturday. I'll deliver it to either the Mommy Mundo headquarters or to the Nuffnang PH office.

Dining at the Spiral Restaurant of Sofitel

I haven't told you about the dinner I had with Pineda, Arnaiz plus all the hubbies at the Spiral Restaurant at Sofitel.

I've been hearing about the Spiral Restaurant for the longest time now. I haven't eaten there kasi mahalia. I'm scared na pagniyaya ko si Sombrero dun, masayangan siya sa bill vs. the food that I'll only eat. Ang konti ko kasi kumain eh.

Anyways, just before Arnaiz's husband left for the US, she invited us to dinner. Spiral daw. Ang soshal. Tunay na haciendera! Lolz.

When we got up to get food, I went straight to the dessert section. Oh yes. You know me!

Grabe. It didn't disappoint! Look at all the sweets that was there!

I was deciding if iisa isahin ko ba siya or put one of each of everything on my plate when Alvin made me sita.

ALVIN: Huy Babe. Kumain ka nga muna ng maayos.

ME: Babe, look at all those sweets. Gusto ko na kainin yan.

ALVIN: Mamaya na. Tara ikuha mo ako ng steak.

Hmp. Killjoy.

And so we went around muna. There were different kinds of bread.

Cold cuts galore which I ate with mustard and anchovies.

Cheese ba kamo?!

There were different kinds of international dishes. Hindi ko lang napicturan lahat. There was Japanese, Chinese, Korean, American etc.

The seafood was fresh.

You can also make almost any kind of salad that you like.

There were customized pasta, soup, steak, foie gras and kung anik anik pa!

Overall, I could say that the experience was great. Maganda magSpiral dinner ng hindi pa naglulunch nang makasulit ng wagas. Hahahaha! The food was really good especially the dessert. OMG. I could eat their dessert all day!

But the best part there are the ones you share the meals with.

Whenever we're in Amsterdam, Papa always takes us to Zaanse Schans.

From Wikipedia:

Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the municipality of Zaanstad in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses; the ca. 35 houses from all over the Zaanstreek were moved to the museum area in the 1970s.The Zaans Museum, established in 1994, is located in the Zaanse Schans.

The Zaanse Schans is one of the popular tourist attractions of the region and an anchor point of ERIH, the European Route of Industrial Heritage. The neighbourhood attracts approximately 900,000 visitors every year. The windmills were built after 1574.

We took photos of my dad's neighborhood. I love it there because ang peaceful. It didn't hurt also that the place looks beautiful in the summer.

Anika and Her Paintings

It was raining the whole day. This is extra challenging if you have a very active toddler living with you. Hindi pwedeng mabato yan.

You know what I did?

I gave her lots and lots and lots of paper and paint.

The result?

She was busy painting the whole day!

She painted Alvin. I was making fun of him. "Kuhang kuha ka niya Babe ah!".

Then after a while,

ANIKA: Look Nanay! I painted you too!

Hihihi.

Bakit yung painting ko naka-tongue out? May feet pa yung tongue! Lol!

But this painting was what surprised me the most:

I wonder if it was just a coincidence or talagang she painted it deliberately to look like a hugging mommy and daughter. Check out also the color combination that she used. Galing di ba? Future painter kaya ang Anika ko?

Momshare will be accepting donations at the Mommy Mundo office starting August 22 until August 24. Address is the 2F Fun Ranch, Ortigas Ave., Pasig beside Tiendesitas. We will be accepting food items (canned goods, biscuits, instant noodles), bottled water, clothing for adults, kids and babies, slippers and footwear, blankets, and toiletries. Cash pledges will also be accepted. Acceptance of donations will end by August 24, Saturday 6pm as distribution will be made to the residents along the Tullahan river and Cavite areas by Sunday onwards. Over at the Nuffang Office

Nuffnang PH will be opening its doors for donations for the victims of typhoon Maring. We will be accepting donations from August 22 (Thurs) until August 30 (Friday) Mondays to Fridays 9am-6pm at the Nuffnang Office at Bonifacio High Street.
We hope that you can contribute food, water, clothes, footwear, medicine, hygiene kits, and sleeping kits to those who are in need. We will be giving all the donations to Philippine Red Cross.

Flooded Tuesday

Toots and LT went to our house this morning. They were supposed to withdraw from BDO here inside the village but weren't able to because baha daw dun sa area na yun. Waist deep daw. I said, "Weh?!". Toots told me and Alvin to cover up so that we can check it out.

Big deal ito sa amin because we have been living in the same village for 30 years but never pa kami nakakita ng bonggang baha.

Nagoutfit of the day muna ako.

Bakit?! Pagbaha hindi na pwede magoutfit of the day?! Lol!

Off we went to check out the flooded area. That's the BDO bank on your right side.

The part near the guardhouse, knee deep. When you go further away, it becomes waist to chest deep. See those cars sa left? They're parked sa ramp na pataas. Inabot na din.

The family that you are seeing in that photo above ay yung suki ko na nagbebenta ng fruits and vegetables dun sa may church namin. Lagpas tao na daw dun sa may church. I asked why they were evacuating just now, they said wala pa naman daw tubig sa streets kaninang umaga. Buti na lang, I didn't attempt to go to work this morning. I was supposed to go to work kasi ManCom nga. Makakaalis pala ako pero I won't be able to go back home. That's the way in and out of the village eh.

The area we live in doesn't get flooded pero the areas surrounding it, ganito. Lalo na siguro the one going to the airport. Lagpas tao na din daw dun. Scary.

Pansinin talagang may agos yung baha di ba?!

Don't worry guys. I washed my feet with soap and water plus alcohol when I got home.

LT went with us too.

The creek inside our village is going to overflow anytime now if the rain will not stop.

The other parts of the village were flooded too.

Alvin's friend told us that it was worse during Ondoy. I wasn't able to see it because Alvin wouldn't allow me to go out of the house. I was pregnant that time. I was annoyed because I was being left out. Everybody was going out to see how flooded it was out there.

Anyways, I saw these really nice looking boots on our way home!

My friend in FB told me that that's a Joy Fish Commercial Grade Fishing/Rain Boots. Ang bonggels!! I want! It made me check out tuloy nice rain boots online =)

Europe Trip 2012: Brussels, Belgium

After Waterloo, we drove to Brussels. Brussels is one of the most beautiful city I've been to. Papa used to take us there when we were younger. I wanted to see the Jose Rizal statue however it was getting dark already so it was going to be hard to look for it. Next time na lang. I told Papa na lang that I want to go to the Grand Place where there was a dancing lights show. I remember it to be really beautiful and I wanted to show it to Alvin.

When we arrived, wala daw lights show. Seasonal ata yun. Pero the square was as beautiful as I remember it to be. Bakit kaya wala tayong ganito dito sa Pinas?

I wasn't feeling well when we arrived in Brussels. I had a fever. Kung maganda lang pakiramdam ko, I would have bought pretty paintings for the house. Sayang.

This is also the home of the Belgian lace. I remember, I wanted Belgian lace for my wedding veil. Dahil I was battling morning sickness during my wedding preps, hindi ko na na-push. Ganda sana. Pwede pang ipamana kay Anika =)

My mouth watered when I saw these 1 euro waffles! Cream and strawberries for the win!! Lekat! Ang sakit lang talaga ng throat ko that time so I wasn't able to eat. I know what that means. We have to go back!!!!

We walked further and found the Manneken Pis.

It is a small bronze fountain sculpture depicting a naked little boy urinating into the fountain's basin. It was designed by Hiëronymus Duquesnoy the Elder and put in place in 1618 or 1619 . It bears a similar cultural significance as Copenhagen's Little Mermaid.

After that, I asked Papa to take us to the Atomium.

The Atomium is an iconic building in Brussels originally constructed for Expo '58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn with interiors by architects André and Jean Polak,it stands 102 m (335 ft) tall. Its nine 18 m (59 ft) diameter stainless steel clad spheres are connected so that the whole forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times.

Tubes connect the spheres along the 12 edges of the cube and all eight vertices to the centre. They enclose escalators and a lift to allow access to the five habitable spheres which contain exhibit halls and other public spaces. The top sphere provides a panoramic view of Brussels. CNN named it Europe's most bizarre building.

Ever since the last time I went there, it was my wish to be able to dine in the Atomium restuarant. Yung isang sphere kasi daw diyan, restaurant eh.

I love Belgium. I wish I could come again and stay longer =)

Europe 2012 Trip: Waterloo, Belgium

We went pala to Belgium and I totally forgot to tell you about it!

Papa, Noel, Alvin and I went to Belgium towards the end of our Europe 2012 trip. Papa wanted to take us to see where the Battle of Waterloo took place.

We made a roadtrip from Amsterdam to Belgium. I so love the scenery. I wish I could see this everyday. This is our way to Waterloo, Belgium.

The Battle of Waterloo from Wikipedia:

The Battle of Waterloo was fought on Sunday, 18 June 1815, near Waterloo in present-day Belgium, then part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands. An Imperial French army under the command of Emperor Napoleon was defeated by the armies of the Seventh Coalition, comprising an Anglo-allied army under the command of the Duke of Wellington combined with a Prussian army under the command of Gebhard von Blücher. It was the culminating battle of the Waterloo Campaign and Napoleon's last. The defeat at Waterloo ended his rule as Emperor of the French, marking the end of his Hundred Days return from exile.

Upon Napoleon's return to power in 1815, many states that had opposed him formed the Seventh Coalition and began to mobilise armies. Two large forces under Wellington and Blücher assembled close to the north-eastern border of France. Napoleon chose to attack in the hope of destroying them before they could join in a coordinated invasion of France with other members of the coalition. The decisive engagement of this three-day Waterloo Campaign (16–19 June 1815) occurred at the Battle of Waterloo. According to Wellington, the battle was "the nearest-run thing you ever saw in your life".

At that moment, Wellington's Anglo-allied army counter-attacked and drove the French army in disorder from the field. Pursuing coalition forces entered France and restored King Louis XVIII to the French throne. Napoleon abdicated, surrendered to the British, and was exiled to Saint Helena, where he died in 1821.

In short mga bakla, this is where Napoleon was finally defeated.

The Waterloo Belgium attraction is so cool. We arrived at the Battlefield Visitors Center and purchased our tickets. We wanted sana to go to the Battlefield Tour too kaso lang it was raining that day. The grounds were muddy so they weren't taking any tourist to the battlefield place.

We took na lang the Lion Mound (Butte du Lion), the Two Films about the Battle of Waterloo, Panorama and Wax Museum.

First up was the Two Films which explained the history of the Battle of Waterloo.

After the film, we proceeded to the Butte du Lion or the Lion's Mound.

The Lion's Mound from Wikipedia:

The Lion's Mound (or "Lion's Hillock", "Butte du Lion" in French, "Leeuw van Waterloo" in Dutch) is a large conical artificial hill raised on the battlefield of Waterloo to commemorate the location where William II of the Netherlands (the Prince of Orange) was knocked from his horse by a musket ball to the shoulder during the battle. It was ordered constructed in 1820 by his father, King William I of The Netherlands, and completed in 1826. The prince fought at the preluding Battle of Quatre Bras (16 June, 1815) and the Battle of Waterloo (18 June, 1815).

Papa told us that we have to climb to the top to see where the Waterloo Battlefield where Napoleon fought. 226 steps yan mga ateng.

I'm not sure type ko magclimb ng ganyan ka taas.....

But Papa was so game and enthusiastic, along with his colorful umbrella, so gorabelles na din akish =)

I'm smiling there pero I was super tired na! It was super cold pa!

Funny because they were all waiting for me to arrive at the top. The other tourists were waiting for me to finish so that we can all go down. Imagine all of them looking at me and cheering for me. And then when I was almost at the top, I looked at them and said:

ME: Wait!

Silence.

ME: I forgot my umbrella downstairs. I have to get it!

I was joking of course! At least I made them all laugh! Sulit ang antay nila sa akin =D

Papa was right. Even with the little fog, the view was breathtaking. Ang galing nila ano? They were able to preserve the battlefield. Ayan yung diagram. It shows where the different armies were located during that battle.

It was so cold sa taas!!!

The model lion was sculpted by Jean-François Van Geel (1756–1830), and bears close resemblance to the 16th century Medici lions. The lion is the heraldic beast on the personal coat of arms of the monarch of The Netherlands, and symbolizes courage; its right front paw is upon a sphere, signifying global victory. The statue weighs 28 tonnes (31 tons), has a height of 4.45 m (14.6 ft) and a length of 4.5 m (14.8 ft). It was cast at the iron foundry of William Cockerill in Liège, whence it was brought by canal barge from Liège to Brussels, and thence by heavy horse-drays to its final site at Mont-St. Jean, a low ridge south of Waterloo.

There is a legend to the effect that the lion was cast from brass melted down from cannons abandoned by the French on the battlefield. The statue was, in fact, cast of iron in nine pieces, which were assembled at the monument site.

After that we went inside the Panorama museum. Keribells lang. Not that facinating.

Lastly, we went inside the wax museum.

It's still raining hard. It's scary. Today pa lang grabe na ang baha here in Paranaque, Cavite and Laguna. Paano pa kaya tomorrow eh it hasn't stopped raining the whole day?! Kami here, thankfully, hindi naman binabaha. Pero the area surrounding our house, mega baha levelz na talaga. We can't go anywhere because lahat ng pwedeng daanan palabas ng village ay baha. Gusto ko na nga magpaskil ng sign board sa labas ng bahay namin eh:

Let's all not forget to pray tonight for all those people na mega nasalanta ng habagat na ito. Ang dami nila. It's my first time to watch the news for a very long time. Baha everywhere. Many people lost their homes. Tapos may nagbanggaan pala na barko sa Cebu nung weekend? Lekat. Nakakalungkot talaga. I feel really bad especially for the mommies who lost their babies when the ship sunk. Ang sakit sa puso.

Thinking about it now, parang ang babaw tuloy ng mga concerns ko. I'll be presenting again to our Mancom tomorrow. I'm doing my report now. I'm doing the best that I can given that I don't have that much data kasi dapat ngayon isusubmit everything sa akin so I can put it to one presentation.

The bagets pa is extra lambing today. Paano nalaglag sa sofa kanina while we were playing. She hit her cheeks sa table. So eto kami kanina before she went to bed.

I really love being a mom to Anika. Kahit na she's so makulit, sulit pagnaglambing eh.

Btw, I have kwento. We were playing pretend grocery this afternoon. She told me that I'll be the cashier while she's the customer. After I ran up her purchases, alam niyo kung ano sabi sa akin?!

ANIKA: Can I pay with my card?

OH. EM. GEE.

She's only three years old! I told Alvin about this.

ALVIN: Eh san pa ba talaga niya makukuha yan?!

One of my IG friends said, "I-hash tag na yan! #alamna"

Lol.

And then later in the afternoon, Alvin made him wear his bonnet.

ALVIN: Wow. Ganda! Look at yourself in the mirror.

ANIKA: I don't like. I look fat!

Ang sama ng tingin sa akin ni Sombrero.

What?!

Fine. I say that all the time. I should be careful talaga with what I say around Anika. She absorbs everything!

I talked to her.

ME: Anika, I don't like to hear you say that you're fat ever again ha? There's nothing wrong about being fat. The important thing is that you're smart, intelligent, nice to other people, nice to Nanay and Tatay and you love God. Okay? There's nothing wrong about being fat.

ANIKA: Yes Nanay.

I can hear Alvin "tsk tsking" behind us.
