Once again im wearing a piece thanks to Charmholic, this time a really cool Givenchy t-shirt which have been highly exposed on streetstyle blogs with this signature Rottweiler. In contrast, i'm having a guest in this post, my little kid Chicharron (yes, it means sth like "deep fried pork"). He is a sweet and playful 5 months rescued puppy which I adopted with my friends.

I took these pics about two weeks ago when it was still warm, but now it seems like cold weather finally arrived to stay in the city and i'm having the worst cold eveerrr. Im already daydreaming of a hot summer soon ♥

VANESA KRONGOLD AND HER MAGIC WORLD OF NONESENSE

This is another great argentinean fashion designer u should check out: Vanesa Krongold.

She had her formation as a fashion designer and stylist at Palermo University, as many others that are rising in the local scene in this city.

Experimenting in various visual disciplines from photography to textile printing she has found in this last one a way to capture present times through images. This is what makes VK so unique and makes her differenciate from others. Her explosion of bright colors and crazy print mixing represent the playful spirit invading this new generation of artists and gives her a signature of a certain rebel and sporty yet stylish attitude.

Any texture and color can be mixed and matched with anything else and still look great and innovating. This is what she proposes, nonesense to break the rules and achieve a new look.

I'm really loving this outfit and the crazy print mixing matched with a statement necklace. The (incredibly comfy) pied-de-poule pants are from LOLU, a local brand from my hometown, which her designer happens to be a very close friend and I had the chance to work along with her in some projects for her brand.

Here again I'm showing u a building gate as a background. The Palermo neighborhood in Buenos Aires has millions of beautiful old houses and lots of walls with cool street art, so from now on my job will be showing that as well.

I'm teaming up with Charmholic to create some of my coming outfits. This online store offers great designer clothes and accesories, plus books and other interesting stuff. CHECK IT!

Even though its already June it haven't got too cold here in the south hemisphere what makes this girl from the Caribbean an incredibly happy person since I can still dare to wear some of my favorites light clothes like this skirt.

I had fun making outfit photos again (I even had a victory dance) and I'm having this new obsession of building gates from my neighborhood, so you will probably see a lot of them as background in the next posts.

Mamitek, as the designer likes to be called, seek differentiation through handmade products and making creative alliances to create beside of clothes, jewelry and accesories too.

Couple of months ago the CMD (Centro Metropolitano de Diseño) organized "La Ciudad de la Moda", an event to celebrate argentinean fashion design. One of the days was completely dedicated to young rising fashion designers, YOU BETTER KEEP AN EYE ON THEM.

In my opinion, this was more exciting even than past BAFWEEK. Loved watching these runway shows with such interesting and talented artists full of unique ideas that are 100% worth to be supported. Let's give more atention to this new generation please!.

U know when good things happen in this world? Well, its happening these days.

Next tuesday the new Daft Punk album "Random Access Memories" will be out and since yesterday it is already being released online.

(Yves) Saint Laurent's creative director, Hedi Slimane, known for his love for music and projects with other musicians, shot these photos for their album artwork dressed with YSL's iconic Le Smoking tuxedo suit, this time with a sparkling twist with sequins matching their robot-style helmets as a favor in return for their collaboration last October on Slimane's debut runway show provinding the soundtrack.

I tried so many hairstyles and colors during my teenage years i even colored it once in purple. Then i got used to my natural color and now im being a little chicken with the idea of a makeover, although pic no. 4 is really tempting me!

BAFWEEK A/W 2013

Ciclotimia is the name if the new collection of designer Agustina Visentini. She shows the constant inestability of our social context. Sudden changes, deep and violent from fluctuating circumstances. Pure exageration of opposites and contradictions. Mix of textures in shantung, tafeta, italian boucle, chenil and natural silk in diferent colors and prints.

Five lines: Barroque in golden, velvet and brocade; Navy inspired military outfits; College with blazers and pleated skirts; 70's with geometrical prints and polka dots; Color Block mixing some of the 90's and sporty style. A very eclectic mix combining night dresses with knitting, sportwear with leather and biker boots with silk.

The bags goes from classic to barroque. Boots and moccasins with a platform are a must. Coats with edgy mixes as studs, leopard print, fur faux and matelasse. Croco leather with a rocker vintage look.

Refractado- takes fractals in their abstract variations and those found in nature. A certain bohemian spirit wraps a loose silhouette. Overlaying garments. Mixing prints and textures.

Rino, inspired in images of animales such as rhinoceros, horses and crocodile. These compose the textures, prints and the color pallette. The horns of the rino inspire the designer the create the morphology of the garments.

Denouer takes the musculature as a gear wheel; something that ties, tangles and shapes the human body. Diferent pieces that make a whole and others that emulate the simplicity of the external. Mix in wool, pima cotton, silk and viscose with other sporty materials as patent leather.

Inspired in a timeless warrior, transforms the silhouette experimenting with the knitting, through the parts that multiplies and find each other. Garments emulating shields, armors with draping and fretwork.

#25 explores structures of straight lines and others with volume. A silhouette from the 70's in a mix with a reinterpretation of the poncho. Leather, wool, cotton, viscose, silk and spandex weaving.

Inspired in the Carnival, from the latin root carne (meat) vale (farewell) presented during the lent. Proposes a sexy and provocative style to satisfy all urges for flesh. It uses leather and lycras in nude color.

Classic shapes in shirts, coats and pants with an accent in the little details, such as mixing colors, textures and prints. The traditional peasley from men ties in a new version for females.

Rebel Street Style proposes a college glam silhouette con a military style reinvented with prints, knittings, chains and studs. Fire Night includes loose pieces with a mmix of textures and details such as spikes, metalwork, transparency and knittings.

After spending 7 months in my hometown I got the chance to rediscover my own city after so long being away from it (almost nine years). In my quest I found great new fashion designers, enjoyed the best rock music, (re)visited amazing art places and ate d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s food.

- La Vida Boheme: F*cking powerful band on stage always dressed in clothes with splattered paint, some of their songs had been categorized as "disco-punk-latino" but whatever they play, they are awesome!
- Viniloversus: my favorites from Venezuela, this is an indie rock band that blends style from earlier years (played in vinyl records) with today's upbeat rhythms...and the vocalist is sooo handsome!

- Teatro Teresa Carreño: second most important teather in South America after Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. This is a cultural complex where symphonic concerts, opera, ballet and plays are perfomed. It has an extraordinary decoration in its whole architecture with fine pieces of artwork.

Next week BAFWEEK (Buenos Aires Fashion Week) will be taking place again in the city to show all new collections from fall/winter season. In this occasion the concept of the campaign is Fashion + Illustration.

Fashion and illustration has always come along and some designers, most of them, are illustrators at the same time. This is Lana del Rey's new single available on her "Paradise Edition" from her debut album. Producer Ridley Scott Associates shot the video as part of the contract between the singer and Jaguar. The song will used as well for the short film named "Desire" as the promo for the new car model F-Type from this company.

I don't even drive a car but all i feel like is going on a ride to the coast listening to this song over and over, it is so calm and yet so sexy.

Daniela Panaro is a venezuelan fashion designer that is part of this new generation from young talents. She first studied journalism and then decided going in Fashion Design in Caracas Brivil Academy.

Her brand "No Pise La Grama" started in 2007 and already has the recognition from CNN, Parsons Newspaper, Fashion TV, E! and Ocean Drive among other publications considering it as one of the promising design brands in Latinamerica.

I saw this editorial few days ago on C♥heads. It was shot by argentinean photographer Evelyn Sol and styled by Nat Kosinski with beautiful model Julieta Miquelarena from Rebel Management.This story is inspired in artist Lana del Rey and it captures perfectly her style and the whole atmosphere she evokes with her music.
