Ricky Kwok a celebrity fashion stylist in Hong Kong collaborated with ROSEBULLET. A fashion show was held last week where Ricky Kwok styled the ROSEBULLET Spring/Summer collection. It was great to attend a fun show watching the models show off gorgeous Spring/Summer pastel colours, the outfits were super cute as the theme was "Sweet Sherbet".

Y-3 GRAND OPENING

Last week I went to the Grand Opening of Y-3's new concept store at Wellington Street, Central (Hong Kong). The new store follows the global signature Y-3 brand concept, white, black and orange.

"This is my dream", a seven day pop up exhibition is held next to the new store from 1 March - 7th March, to celebrate ten years of collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas, Y-3 has screened the documentary Yohji Yamamoto: "This is my dream" throughout 2011 in various cities. You can now see this at the pop up exhibition in Hong Kong.

MEETING SOPHIE LABBE: SALVATORE FERRAGAMO "SIGNORINA"

I've had a really exciting and busy week, there's been so many events cramped into one week. So be warned for the next couple of days there's going to be a few more posts about the events I went to from this week, which I hope you would like.

One of the very special events I went to was Salvatore Ferragamo. I had the honor of meeting the Perfumer of the new Salvatore Ferragamo "Signorina" fragrance, Sophie Labbe. Meeting the Perfumer, the expert of perfumes for a "Sniff test" has been a great learning experience. I've never experienced anything like this before. Sophie took us through the Top notes, Heart notes to the Dry down notes. We smelt every layer of the "Signorina" fragrance. It was amazing to discover the smell of pink pepper, jasmine, peony, rose, pannacotta, patchouly and musk, the seven different notes in the fragrance. Experiencing the fragrance myself, I have to say "Signorina" is addictive, it has a fruity, floral with a hint of spiciness to it. You have to test it out to get the feeling. It's absolutely lush!!

I'm addicted to perfume and have to spray perfume before I walk out my front door, getting the chance to meet Sophie the super lovely and friendly lady, the perfumer who created iconic fragrances for other world renowned brands is definitely unforgettable.

I'm a massive shoe fanatic, I love buying shoes and looking at gorgeous shoes. When I know I'm going to spend the whole day out, I would like to wear a pair of comfortable shoes. ECCO's Spring/Summer 2012 collection has done the trick, comfortable but stylish at the same time.

When I went to check out the SS12 collection the other day, I spotted a pair of really nice Oxford's and red wedges (above), and for the men's the "Androw" (above) are super cool, all with comfortable insoles.

L'ODYSSEE DE CARTIER

As a Cartier lover, i'm so excited to share this news with you! Cartier will unveil a 3'30 film L'Odyssée de Cartier on 4th March 2012 at 11pm on all different channels in Hong Kong. The film tells the story of how Cartier, "King of Jewelers", has always created gorgeous pieces with passion.

The heroine of this short film is the panther, the icon of Cartier since 1914. The emblematic creature goes on an imaginary voyage, between dream and reality.

I love the Monki SS12 collection: Simplistically-Cool-Suprematism. This is definitely my style, simple cuts and shapes and gorgeous colours. Again, I've found some really cool pieces I want to sneak into my wardrobe, I seriously need to go to Monki to check it out!

In my last post I mentioned about going back to London. Yes I've booked my flight, I will be going back to the UK in May for a month, I'm super super excited and can't wait! I miss home so much, shopping, eating......woohoo! LOVE IT!!!! Let the countdown begin!

I had my hair dyed again last week, I couldn't stand my roots! This time it's more vivid, love it!

OK, so I went to Forever 21 to pick up some clothes last week with my friend, I managed to grab this mint coloured sweater, I'm lovin' pastel colours for Spring this year and necklace and of course a few other things, but I might take back the other stuff I bought and exchange it for something else as I'm still not too sure if I like them or not.

I'm thinking of going back home to London for one month in May this year, again I'm still deciding. Yes or No? The price of the flight tickets are a problem, it's a little expensive!

MANOLO BLAHNIK!!! I wanted to take the black studded shoes home with me, their absolutely gorgeous! I went to the Manolo Blahnik exhibition at Lane Crawford to explore his limited edition archive collection and the exclusive global collaborations.

Manolo Blahnik has collaborated with a number of renowned luxury brands especially for Lane Crawford. He has teamed up with Causse Gantier (a century old French glove label), Globe-Trotter (the stripped case), Fortnum & Mason Hampers, Connor, Artĕl and Olmetto.

Manolo Blahnik himself will be in Hong Kong on 14th - 15th Feb!

The cupcake I decorated, it's ugly but it tasted soooo good!

A night packed with pink, candies, sparkles, cupcakes and macarons I imagine this is the best girls night anyone can dream of. I was at the Swarovski SS12 launch party, it was so much fun. The SS12 collection was so pretty and I love the blue ring above, it's amazing. We even got to decorate our own cupcakes, mine for sure didn't look so good as I was saying to a fellow blogger, one side of the cake looks like a healthy looking forest and the brown side looked like a burnt down forest. Oh well at least it tasted good.

I've been working very hard for the last few days. I believe things happen for a reason, I quit my job in retail before Christmas because I hated my new manager at the time and after spending one month out of work, I've found a job I love and enjoy doing. I now work for a company blogging full time and work in the social media department. This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time since I started my blog, I'm so happy that I've found a job I love!

JACK WILLS SPRING 2012 PREVIEW

Vintage inspired floral skirt

It's always nice to have a little British love in my life once in a while. Every time I walk into Jack Wills in Hong Kong I just feel like I've gone back home to the UK. Last week I was invited to the Spring 2012 bloggers preview event, and yes indeed I found a few pieces I loved from the collection which are The Glenthorne Brogues (the white brogues in the pic above) and the Farleton dress (the floral dress).

This coming season's collection is all about floral patterns, stripes and cable knits. The Spring collection will be in-stores on 7th February, do go and check it out if you're in HK.

DELIVERED TO MY DOOR

First of all I want to thank MyLuxBox HK for this lovely October box. It's nice to have some nice cosmetics delivered to your door! The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the Laura Mercier foundation primer, something I always wanted to try out. It's such a great product, I used it for the first time the other day then used it everyday after that. The texture is so nice and it made my face feel really smooth. I loved the hand and nail cream too, it made my hands feel so smooth the smell was lovely and refreshing, my mum loved it too she tried it before me even and she wanted to steal it from me.

The Givenchy eye make-up remover was good, it took of my eye make-up in one go but it was a little too watery for me because I like to use more of a oil based remover but overall it was good. The youth serum and mask was lovely too, it was very refreshing.

Forever 21 opened it's doors in Causeway Bay Hong Kong on the 18th Jan 2012. When I walked into this shop the other night I was not surprised at all, the shop was crazily packed. The queue to the changing rooms and to the cashier was endless. Hong Kong has been waiting for a long time for this shop to open and here it is.

With 3 floors opened for customers and another 3 floors still under construction, the grand opening will be taking place in Spring 2012 with all 6 floors being revealed.

New deliveries are added to the vast in-store selection daily, with women's wear, men's apparel, kid's wear and accessories. You will definitely be able to find something in there. The store is open from 10am-1am daily.

Forever 21 has created the 'Cast Forever 21' it's a competition to look for fashionistas in Hong Kong, enter if you believe you have the style of Forever 21 by posting your most stylish picture on www.facebook.com/Forever21HK, the contest will be running between 18th Jan-31st March. The winners will be given HK$1,000 gift card and an exclusive invitation to attend the VIP grand opening event in Spring. (open to HK residents only)

I bought myself a new camera last week, Canon EOS 600D DSLR. This is the first time I used it for an outfit post, I love it a lot and it's definitely worth investing on. If you want to buy a great quality DSLR then I highly recommend this one.

My studded slippers came through the post last week from Topshop, I love them so much and can't get enough of them. Their super cool and not too over the top.

Chinese New Year is just around the corner...I'm so excited. Can't wait for the Lai See (red pockets with money inside), I wonder how much I will get altogether this year?!

Denim vest turned into a bag

I went to the 3.1 Phillip Lim SS12 press preview a few days ago and this collection has lots of great surprises. Tops can turn into bags, long sleeve jackets can turn into sleeveless jackets.

In this collection Phillip Lim has created amazing pieces concentrating on the freedom and fragility of kites. He has used colours like Limon, shell pinks, lilacs, faded orange, soft blacks through to alabaster and parchment to give the effects of Colours which have faded in the sun.

When they took the 31 Hour bag to show us, I wanted the bag straight away, this bag can seriously take you from the day through to the evening. I love it!
