NEW IN: MAKE UP BRUSHES

Putting make up on is indeed one of my daily routines, and when it comes to picking my make up tools I do tend to get quite fussy, especially with make up brushes. For the past couple of months I have in-fact been hunting for some new make up brushes to add to my make up bag, and a couple of weeks ago I found some.

I do like my brushes to be nice and soft as it's going to be touching my face on a daily basis, and I have to be very honest I do usually go for brushes that's made with animal hair, but this time I decided to go for synthetic taklon bristles and i'm actually quite impressed. I went for the Real Techniques Travel Essentials set, which includes the foundation brush, multitask brush and the domed eyeshadow brush, three of the most important brushes you need.

The ultra-plush brushes come in a make up case which is perfect for travelling.

Later on in the week I tried out the rest of the products like, 'cleanse me!' (cleanser), 'replenish me!' (toner), 'vitalize me!' (serum), 'shield me' (UV Herbal gel), 'restore me!' (eye gel), 'vivify me!' (face mask) and 'smooch me!' (lip treatment).

Surprisingly enough, my skin didn't have an illergic reaction to the products, so whether your skin is sensitive or not, Fresca are one of the cosmetic brands you might want to consider.

A few of my favorite products definitely has to be the lip treatment and the moisturizer.

Hey guys, as some of you might have already noticed I stopped doing outfit posts for about 5 months, that was due to some personal reasons. Anyway, i've now come back with an outfit post and feeling pretty good. Here i'm wearing an oversized denim shirt from Monki, and yes I am wearing something underneath and that is a black bodycon skirt.

Something else I would like to mention is the super cute nail art that was created by The Nail Library (Hong Kong) at the Monki AW14 Collection Preview last week, i'm absolutely lovin' it!

LOUIS VUITTON 'L'AVENTURE' POP UP STORE

The Louis Vuitton 'L'Aventure' pop up store has opened at Pacific Place in Hong Kong. A couple of weeks ago I went to check the amazing space that highlights LV's expert authority on travel. The pop up store offers a selection of luggage and travel accessories in the label's iconic Monogram canvas.

Designed in collaboration with Tyler Brule and his team of experts, the pop up store has been transported from the prestigious Avenue Montaigne in Paris to Hong Kong.

This store will not only offer luggage and 'L'Aventure travel accessories, but also a number of unique services by artisans, such as: Personalization, The Art Of Packing and Repair.

As a special treat, visitors will also receive a 26 collector's postcard set to inspire them to pack their bags and set off on their own adventure from the style tips found in the Louis Vuitton City Guides.

MARC JACOBS SS14 COLLECTION PREVIEW

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates lately, due to some personal reasons I haven't had the time to work for one month let alone update my blog. Now that i'm back, I do seriously have a lot of catching up to do, so let's begin with Marc Jacobs SS14 first.

Back in March I went to check out the Marc Jacobs SS14 collection, I know it's a bit late for the post, but it's better late than never!

The Marc Jacobs SS14 collection was a mix of self-possessed surfer cool and Victorian elegance that worked to present a chic, bohemian style that owe's it's origins to Jacobs' imagination and women who inspire it. Featuring strong motifs with a moody colour palette.

Ok, so I've had my eye on these beauties for a while now and I've finally ordered them from ASOS a couple of days ago, so now i'm just happily waiting for them to arrive on my doorstep. These will officially be the 3rd pair of 'Dunk Sky Hi' wedge sneakers to join my Nike collection, and I can't wait to take them out for a stroll!

I've never really looked into the Italian clothing brand Pinko before, but after checking out their Spring/Summer 2014 collection a couple of weeks ago, i'm in love! A couple of weeks ago I went to check out the Monki SS14 collection. The brand showcased their all new collection with Future Exotica, a collection that does exactly what it says it is: boldly exotic and urbanely futuristic. Full of unexpected silhouettes in popping green, the collection features a wide variety of playful and stylish pieces, such as oversized blazers to crop tops, wildly printed leggings to chunky shoes, statement accessories and cute underwear. It's all about the prints, organic animal and plant motifs in techno-inspired textures like shiny foiler neon.

A couple of weeks I went to the Hugo Boss SS14 collection preview, but i'm not going to use any of the photo's I took that day as they didn't turn out that well, so i'm going use the lookbook images Hugo Boss provided me with. Anyway, in this post i'm going to particularly highlight the HUGO Summer 2014 collection, why? Because I love it!

For the first time ever, HUGO leans towards the more feminine side with a slight edginess. Venturing into new dimensions, presenting a style that is both down-to-earth and ethereally light in a single collection. This is what I wore on Sunday. I almost forgot I had this pink blazer sitting in my wardrobe, I bought it from the Zara sale a few years back and I think i've only worn it twice. Anyway, it was really sunny when I took these photos, so the blazer looks brighter than it actually is, and also I thought it looked really nice with the sun shining against it so I didn't actually photoshop the last picture. I definitely need to wear this blazer more as i'm in love with it all over again.

Last week I went to the Swarovski SS14 collection preview, and as per usual I instantly fell in love with literally everything. For the first time ever, Swarovski is paying homage to art for the upcoming collection. From tribal to contemporary art, it's all based on earthy tones and primary colours. Find everything from tribal style statement necklaces to oversized cuffs, colourful floral pendants to chandelier earrings and romantic rose-gold and black metal coloured rings. Each piece from the spring/summer 2014 collection, will add a great stylish and artistic touch to your everyday wardrobe.

Some of my favourite items include the transparent tribal cuff and necklace, the silver floral cuff and the rose-gold rings plus bangles. They're definitely something I would like to add to my jewellery collection.

Yay! I'm super happy as i've finally found the perfect black ankle boots, to make it even better it's studded and genuine leather too - absolutely brilliant! There goes another pair of shoes i'll be living in as well as my Nike Sky Hi sneakers. I had a hair colour change just before Christmas, and i'm also thinking about getting it cut to a slight shorter length before I go back to London in March, i'm also going to dye it back to a darker shade too.

Anyway back to the boots, I made a wish list before Christmas with some of my favourite ankle boots but I didn't go for any of them and added these Zara Studded pair to my shoe closet instead. Seriously, you must get them if you're too on the hunt for the perfect black ankle boots!

Hey guys, so just before christmas I went to check out the H&M Spring/Summer 2014 collection at the showroom. Obviously, I saw a few things I liked, hence the embroidered denim jacket above, which automatically hit the top of my wish list. Apart from denim, you will also see alot of suede, heavy prints, tassels and metal hardwear. I can't wait til March 2014, I want it everything now please!!
