The spider's body was about 2 inches long and the legs spread out about 4 inches.  Might it be a wolf spider? They measure about an inch in diameter and sprinkle the ground with a beautiful purplish color. Does anyone know what they are called?  These flowers are everywhere as well. These plants grow taller and have a yellow flower, but they are about the same size as the ones above.
