WHO: Grades 6-12

WHAT: FlipSide OUTSIDE takes place on the last Wednesday of each month. Parents will drop off and pick up teens at a new location where they’ll put their faith in action by serving the community. This month we’ll be partnering with First Fruits Ministry for a ‘Homeless Dinner Outreach.’

WHEN: Wednesday, September 29, 7-9pm

WHERE: The parking lot of St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Downtown Wilmington

We’ve been cookin’ up something new for FlipSide this year and it’s just about ready to come out of the oven! It’s called FlipSide OUTSIDE and it’s about taking the truth of the Gospel outside of the walls of the church.

FlipSide will be meeting at a new location on the last Wednesday of each month beginning in September 2010. Our mission is to serve our community in creative ways that simply demonstrate the love of Jesus. Each months location will be announced at the beginning of the month via Facebook, Twitter, FS LIVE, the Parent Blog & FlipSide.net. Each teen will be asked to bring a minimum of $5 to contribute to whatever that months project may be.

Teens, let’s shock our city with Love this year!!

We’re kicking off the brand new School/FlipSide season from 7-9pm on Wednesday, September 1 talking about our favoritest topic ever… LOVE! We’ll be brushing up on our Love 101 and getting back to the basics of what love is and what love is NOT.

You won’t want to miss this incredible night of live music with SUMERLIN, a LIVE DJ, good friends, and not-so-healthy food! Bring a friend and introduce them to the epicness known as FlipSide LIVE!!
