Liverpool vs Newcastle United review: Andy Carroll once again slipped in front of the goal but Liverpool manages to grab rare victory of this season at Anfield.

Injury hit Chelsea have agreed a fee of around 7million for he Bolton’s English defender Gary Cahill.

Chelsea having big problems at the back and Andre Villas-Boas has stepped forward and agree to sign Bolton’s central half Gary Cahill.

Owen Coyle will have more problems after the first choice central back as his side is currently at the 19th position on the league table.

Coyle said: “The situation is that the clubs, Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea, have at this moment in time agreed a fee for Gary (Cahill),”

“Now it is up to Gary’s representatives to speak to Chelsea,”

“From our part, I’ve said to Gary that this is why he has representatives and that his focus is on football and football only,”

Barcelona’s star striker David Villa has been released from Hospital after the operation of his broken leg.

David Villa suffered the terrible injury during the Club world cup game in Japan. Spanish star is likely to miss next five months of action with the injury and there are doubts about his Euro 2012 appearance.

According to the doctors Villa suffered the stress fracture after broken left tibia. Now the 30-year old striker can spent his holidays with his family after being released from hospital.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking forward to launch an extraordinary bid to land former Gunner’s legend Thierry Henry on loan.

Thierry Henry has spent a very joyous period with the Emirates club under Arsene Wenger and now Wenger wants the reunion with the former French mate.

Brazilian giants Corinthians are closing in on Manchester City striker Carlo Tevez for a cut-price deal.

Corinthians president has claimed that they are still interested in the Argentinean striker and also a deal “is close”.

Tevez is having a tough time with Manchester City as he found guilty after the Munich row with Roberto Mancini.

Corinthians president Andres Sanchez said:  “Tevez is close to joining Corinthians, though many people do not believe it. Before the offer was €40m, now the figure is €18m.”

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says that players have shown their potential and they are ready to beat any team and can win silverware.

Suarez thinks that the current Liverpool squad under Dalglish has now assembled displays a collective will to win.

Manchester United’s Mexican star Javier Hernandez has signed a new mega five-year deal according to player’s agent.

Javier Hernandez joined Manchester Untied from Guadalajara and suddenly emerged as one of the best striker of world. Hernandez has already scored 22 goals in all competitions in just 52 appearances.

Javier Hernandez agent Eduardo Hernandez said: “We have renegotiated Javier’s contract and he is committed for five years to Manchester United. The initial contract was good for both Javier and the club because it enabled both to see if they could fit together and if he could achieve what was expected of him,”

“Both sides have met their expectations and United were happy to reward Javier after his very good performances last season,”
