The 2009 New York Yankees have made it to the World Series to go against the Philadelphia Phillies. For those who do not know me, I am a die hard Yankees fan and have been for many years. I've waited since 2003 (Sorry Cubs fans) for the Yankees to make it back to the dance. In 2003, we got dropped by the Marlins, in which I lost a bet had to shave my long goatee that I had been growing back then. No bets this time. I just want the Yankees to win. I think we have a very good chance to do just that.

Reason 1: CC Sabathia

ALCS MVP, CC Sabathia. Need I say anymore? He has brought it in the playoffs so far, with an era just a smidge over 1 and he's undefeated, at 3-0. Can the Phillies get to him? Yes, of course, but the old saying in baseball always goes, "good pitching can beat good hitting." So that means, that if CC is CC, he can shut down the Phillies lineup. Same goes for the Phillies, as well.

Reason 2: Alex Rodriguez

Mr. Irrelevant in October has turned Mr. Unstoppable. I never thought I would say this in the month of October: "Please get it to A-Rod." That's what I found myself saying a lot so far in the playoffs. Batting over .400 with 5 home runs and a bunch of RBIs to boot, A-Rod has been The Man so far in the playoffs. Once your hot, your hot, right? At least, I hope.

That's all we need. 2 reasons. If Tex can start coming through more and more, the Phillies will HAVE to pitch to A-Rod. If Tex keeps not getting on base, they will just walk A-Rod all night. That'll hurt us cause then it's up to Matsui, Posada, Cano and Swish to carry the load. We'll see how it all turns out. If the Yankees can win their home games, we are champs.

I'm going to go out on a limb, the Yankees in 5.

Sharpton and Jackson LOVE Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh FORCED out of bid

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have flexed that artificial muscle, again, by speaking up against Rush Limbaugh. I'm a little confused. I understand that Rush "spoke his mind" regarding the NFL when he worked on the Sunday pregame show a few years back, and...?

This is the NFL, the league of second chances, right? Dante Stallworth killed a man wile driving drunk, he served 28 days in jail and is suspended a year from the NFL but he'll be back, I'm sure. Michael Vick got his second chance. Albert Haynesworth stomped on another players face with his cleats, he got his second cance and turned it into $100 million dollars.

If we are going to hold Rush's right against him, you know, the right to SPEAK IS MIND and not give him a "second chance" then how come the NFL has given second chances in the past? Rush doesn't want to play in the league he wants to spend HIS money to have a position in the front office of a team that is truly terrible. Look up the Rams, they are 5 for their last 40. The franchise isn't exactly the symbol of the NFL, let's be honest. To have some players and owners say, "we will not support this" is ridiculous. This league is notorious in giving second chances to guys that have done FAR WORSE than say something about a black QB.

The bottom line here is SIMPLE, Rush Limbaugh wants to own a stake in the St Louis Rams, why should some comments from 6 years ago be used to affect this and have Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson be cheerleaders for all that is RIGHT in America. To hear either one of them talk about what is right and wrong makes me laugh all the time. I have never been a super fan of Rush Limbaugh, I understand he stands on the same side of the fence as me but I never really listened to him, until now. When I heard he was in this bid, I thought it was a good thing, it's is money, it's the AMERICAN DREAM. He's worked hard to make this money all of his life, so why should some other NFL Players or Owners be able to stop him? If he as the money, and the current Rams owners want to sell to his group, LET IT HAPPEN!

The thought of his comments from 6 years ago never crossed my mind when this bid news went National. I thought we were passed this as it's almost a decade old. Apprently, I was wrong. Is Rush Limbaugh a racist? I don't think so. In todays age, most of us conservatives/Republicans have been called racists by such greats like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton with some others up on Capitol Hill. So maybe Rush IS a racist since he goes against this President, but then again, he said he went against George Bush as well, so does he hate white people to? Oh man...

I don't know, I just think it's ridiculous. All of it. Taking a look at the National Debt Clock: $11, 916, 720, 168, 273. Spend, spend, spend.

It's Almost Over...I think.

I think I come to a conclusion...

I know this is going to be a tough one but I think I am going to stop using Skoal. If you don't know what Skoal is, it's chewing tobacco. See, many years ago I smoked then in 2003 I quit smoking and started chewing. Then earlier this year I moved to Canada and chewing was SOOO expensive ($15 for a can I would pay $4 for in America) so I decided to start smoking again. It's a going trend in my life, drop one for the other, it happens, don't judge me!

Then I quit smoking and started chewing regularly and now I think it is time to stop, everything. No more chew. No more cigs. No more bad stuff for me (except Pepsi and Mountain Dew).

Think I can do it? Vote on my poll.

I've always been able to quit doing one or the other but I've never been able to quit BOTH at the same time! I don't want to risk cancer. I want to live as long as possible cause I am scared of death.

I'll keep you posted.

Czars, Czars and more Czars and 9/11

This Wednesday on THE FORD SHOW we will take a look at all the Czars in Obama's White House. The good, bad and the ugly. Hell, we'll even look at George Bush's Czars that he had, which helped us find something very interesting when comparing the numbers of two Presidents. A lot has come out recently regarding Van Jones and his radical ways, if you don't know them, we have them, with audio.

We'll ask the question, is the President more radical than he has let us on to believe? When you surround yourself with radical people, doesn't that make YOU a radical? Is this the "Change" that YOU voted for?

We'll ask more questions along the way and if you think they are "conspiracy theories", it's hard to make that argument when they are on VIDEO saying these things! Radical retards call them "conspiracy theories" while normal thinking people call them RADICALS.

Can We Really?

Is the new Health Care Reform bill really progress? Does the government really know how much this is going to cost US? Does the government really think this is going to solve ALL the problems in Health Care?

Many times in the past the government has passed "stimulus this" and "stimulus that" just to have it cost MORE than they thought. Bush did it. Obama has done it. So, what if it costs more than a trillion dollars? Can we really afford that?

Here is where I think the Obama Administration messed up on this one, follow me here:

He wanted to pass the $800 billion dollar stimulus package cause we NEEDED to do it to get the economy on track and HE said, "If we pass this, the unemployment rate won't get higher than 8%". Right now, it's 9.4%. On top of that, we've only spent around 10% of the money! A brand new Rasmussen poll shows this: 33% of voters say the Stimulus has helped, 30% say it has hurt and 30% say it has had no effect on the economy. Those aren't very good numbers for a Stimulus package we NEEDED to pass. Also on Rasmussen, 54% of voters feel the government will try to do too much to help the economy, while 37% feel they won't do enough. Passing a $800 stimulus that was suppose to help wasn't ENOUGH already?

Here's my point: If what they passed in February hasn't worked all the way yet, why try and add another trillion dollars? Why not wait this first big spend out before you add more to it? I find it very hard for the American people to be able to trust the White House right now when they say, "this will work" when the first stimulus hasn't yet. Make sense? Wait until the first almost trillion dollar spending spree works before you add another one to it...That's all I'm saying...

The Obamamaniacs will say in response, "then what do you want him to do until the first stimulus works, nothing?" my answer to that is simple: As of www.PolitiFact.com there are 372 campaign promises that Obama hasn't even touched yet, start with those.

Do I have faith this Health Care Reform will work? The answer is no. Would I feel a little bit better about it in terms of our nation's bottom line if the previous $800 billion worked? The answer is yes. The deficit for this country has quadrupled since he took office, yet the money he has spent hasn't exactly worked. His "Cash for Clunkers" was a great idea, no doubt, but they told dealers it would take a couple of weeks to get paid, it's been longer than that and there are a lot of dealers across the country dropping out of the program cause they aren't getting paid and have a ton of clunkers to crush and dispose of.

Thoughts on the Poll and Wednesday Night

The poll is getting a lot of votes and I'm glad everyone is taking part in this great debate. If you haven't voted, please do...

I can't remember when this many people cared about something like this when it comes to politics and it isn't August of an Election year. I think it's great that so many people are involved with this, it's really good to see, no matter whatever side of the fence you are.

I just want everyone to keep the votes coming, on Wednesdays show, I will give out the results. Also on Wednesday, we have a special guest, a listener and friend of mine, Tabitha. She's going to be calling in to tell us why she wants/needs this Health Care reform to go through, we'll get her story. If that isn't enough, another Obama Care supporter "Kaeos" (hosts a show called "Chaotic Radio" on www.BlogTV.com) will be calling in to tell us why he wants the Health Care reform bill to go through.

So it looks like I have my work cut out for me, knowing that I am against it, but I want this. I want the debate, I want to be able to put my finger on the pulse of the "other side". I see that as of right now, there are a few people who are undecided. I encourage you all to listen on Wednesday to the stories of those who are behind this and maybe you can formulate your own opinion about this hot issue.

In order to spark REAL debate with REAL people, I want to make an open challenge, to ANYONE and EVERYONE who supports this Health Care Reform from our apparent Socialist President. If you are on the LEFT on don't support this (there might be one or two) then feel free to call, as well.

Here's the best part, you don't have to be live to do it! You can simply call my line and leave a voice mail, explaining why you're for it and why YOU feel this country it better off with it.

My New Adventure

It has occurred to me that doing an on-air show only ONCE a week, really puts me at a disadvantage when it comes to talk about the events that take place AFTER I go off the air. (Example: Michael Jackson died on a Thursday) I had to wait until the FOLLOWING Wednesday before I could talk about it and by then, it was "old" news.

So here I am. On this blog that I created MANY months ago and NEVER posted a single thing, I start now. Why? Cause I want to be able to keep my finger on the pulse and the voice of reason in my listeners ears through the words on their screen. Here on this blog, I'm going to take you deep into the realm of a sometimes very dysfunctional man with a microphone in his face and the knack and the turn heads. Chances are, you may hate the things I say but then again, you only know me cause you listen to me on the internet, so you must not hate me THAT much.

I just wanted to set up my blog and make my first post, popping my blogspot cherry so to speak and I will post a nice, meaningful blog TOMORROW as I want to go into depth on "ObamaCare". Only 4 people will probably read this from now onto the Obama blog, so I leave you with this...
