On November 21st, The Philippines will bring forth a festival that will fuse its biggest talents in one massive celebration of sound – the Sandstorm Electronic Experience, produced as a collaboration between So Familiar Productions, The Wildfire Productions and Trance Till Dawn. The event aims to make a staple when it comes to the music festival slash beach party in Southeast Asia as well as to make the Philippines, the next music destination.

The festival will be a 3 day event at 3 stages and over 50 of the country’s greatest performers from Metro Manila, Cebu, Bacolod and Davao are representing every group from the city’s forward-thinking best scene producers, the enigmatic underground techno enthusiasts, the soulful house music lovers, the iconic bass music elite, to every hard hitter of the country’s biggest clubs and more. It’s about time that the country will have a festival that pays homage to local electronic artists. A tribute to music and dominated by homegrown performers, in an absolutely breathtaking location by the sand and the water just south of the metro.

Sandstorm’s official venue is the Southcrest Beach Resort. A 15 hectare of a scenic land near the beach in San Juan, Batangas. San Juan, Batangas is 116KM from Manila, known for the wide variety of Eco-Tourism activities like hiking and swimming on the emerald green sea. San Juan, Batangas is indeed the right place for the event. They also collect P20 for the tourism fee to keep San Juan the cleanest and greenest place you’ll stay. Each of the venue’s themed stages will give the audience a different sound and atmosphere, taking them on a thrilling adventure through different and wildly imaginative realms. Josh Hutcherson, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire star, has apparently been on dating sites and hooking up with multiple girls. One of the girls he was messaging has leaked his nude photos reports Life Of the Rich & Famous! Uncensored under.

The blog reports, "A year ago or so, 20-year old Josh Hutcherson was allegedly caught on a online dating site.. under the name, “Connor”. ‘Connor’ was not only sending photos to girls but actual videos of him pleasuring himself to someone who we gladly got a hold of. After reaching out to his team for a comment, all we got was legal threats."

THE ESCHERIAN STAIRWELL: REAL OR HOAX???

A so-called Escherian stairwell designed by a Filipino architect named Rafael Nelson Aboganda and located in Rochester Institute of Technology in New York has been featured on a viral Youtube video.

The said staircase is said to violate the laws of physics and basic logic by looping back into itself.

The clip shows some students, who step on the stairs for the first time, brought to amazement after finding out that it is indeed a never-ending staircase.

But no, the video is just a hoax and there is no Escherian stairwell that exists in RIT nor elsewhere in the world.

Everything is part of a project by film and animation graduate student Michael Lacanilao. "The Stairwell Project" aims to create a modern myth regarding the existence of such "magic staircase" in the school.

***NOTE: I understand that what I am quoting is Biblical scripture, but I do not wish for the discussion to turn into a religious one. That being said….

“…each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”
How much truth do you think this passage holds up in modern times? Focusing on this alone, one could assume that in a relationship, it is more important that the husband be respected and the wife be loved than the other way around. I understand that you do need both, but do you feel that one really means more to the opposite sex than the other? Do you think that telling the husband “I love you but don’t respect you” would have the same impact as telling the wife “I respect you but I do not love you”?

Tom Cruise Dies In Car Crash

THIS STORY IS STILL DEVELOPING...
(Local Team News 9) Tom Cruise died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident - April 11, 2013
Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Tom Cruise lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.

The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.

Witnesses have stated that Tom Cruise's car crossed the double lines several times prior to the accident and hit the center lane divider causing the vehicle to flip and roll.

Toxicology tests will be performed to determine whether he was driving under the influence, however initial findings indicate that durgs or alcohol did not contribute in any way to this accident as it was more likely to been caused by road conditions.

Memorial services for Tom Cruise have not yet been announced. The service is expected to be a closed casket funeral due to the severe head trauma.

In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?"

... Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind replied the author. Here's the answer.
Every relationship has a cycle. In the beginning; you fall in love with your partner. You anticipate their calls, want their touch and like their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love.

People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet.” Picture the expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something happened to you. Falling in love is a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few months or years of being together, the euphoria of love fades. It's a natural cycle of EVERY relationship.
Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts. The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship; you will notice a dramatic difference between the he initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage.

At this point, you and / or your partner might start asking, "Am I with the right person?” And as you reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when relationships breakdown.
The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person; it's learning to love the person you found.

People blame their partners for their unhappiness and look outside for fulfillment. Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is the most common. But sometimes people turn to work, a hobby, a friendship, excessive TV or abusive substances. But the answer to this dilemma does NOT lie outside your relationship. It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else. You could. And temporarily you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later.

Because (listen carefully to this): The key to succeeding in a Relationship is not finding the right person; it's learning to love the Person you found.
Sustaining love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. You have to work on it day in and day out. It takes time, effort and energy. And most importantly, it demands Wisdom. You have to know what to do to make it work. Make no mistake about it. Love is not a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your partner). Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships. If you know and apply these laws, the results are predictable. Love is therefore a "decision.” Not just a feeling.

Remember this always: God determines who walks into your life. It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let GO!

The 38th Metro Manila Fil Festival (MMFF 2012) Gabi ng Parangal was held at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City LAst nigh December, 27, 2012. Event was Hosted by Sisterakas star Kris Aquino and KC Concepcion.

Nora Aunor bagged the Best Actress trophy while Dingdong Dantes won Best Actor for the second consecutive year (he was also hailed as 2011 Festival Best Actor for "Segunda Mano"). Brillante Mendoza won Best Director for "Thy Womb."

Most of the awards were shared by three films -- "Thy Womb," "El Presidente" and "One More Try," which won Best Picture.

Why Matt Damon never denied rumors about a gay relationship with Ben Affleck

Matt Damon in 'Behind the Candelabra' (Photo: Jarett Wieselman)When childhood friends Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won an Oscar for writing 1997's "Good Will Hunting," the two Boston natives also became fodder for the Hollywood rumor-mill. Stories speculating the actor-writers were in a homosexual relationship together began to circulate.

It is a topic that Damon has apparently never addressed until now. The 42-year-old actor, now married with three daughters, recently expressed sensitivity around the longtime rumor in an interview with Playboy:

I never denied those rumors because I was offended and didn't want to offend my friends who were gay—as if being gay were some kind of f----ng disease. It put me in a weird position in that sense. The whole thing was just gross. But look, there have been great signs of progress—the fact that Anderson Cooper and Ellen DeGeneres can come out so beautifully and powerfully, and it's a big f----ng deal that it turns out nobody gives a sh--. If Liberace were alive today, everybody would love his music and nobody would care what he did in his private life. Like with Elton John.

Damon stars in Steven Soderbergh-directed HBO biopic "Behind the Candelabra" as Scott Thorson, Liberace's longtime lover. Damon recently said his costar Michael Douglas, who plays the famed television and Las Vegas entertainer who lived his life as a closeted homosexual, is "a wonderful kisser."

The "Bourne Identity" actor never seems to have shied away from such roles over his career. He recalled speaking to Heath Ledger before he died about filming passionate kissing scenes with Jake Gyllenhaal for 2005's "Brokeback Mountain" -- a film in which Damon was originally set to star. Damon revealed that he and Joaquin Phoenix were at one point in talks to play the leading roles in the Oscar-winning film, tossing the idea around with director Gus Van Sant. (It was eventually helmed by Ang Lee who won an Academy Award for directing.) But since he had just done "The Talented Mr. Ripley" and "All the Pretty Horses," Damon wanted to wait on "Brokeback" a few more years. "I just did a gay movie and a cowboy movie. I can't do a gay cowboy movie now," he recalled telling Van Sant. "The right actor got the part. Heath Ledger was magnificent," Damon added. And when it came to those kissing scenes, the late Ledger told him, "I needed to just go for it. If you can't do that, you're not making the movie."

Ledger's advice served as inspiration to Damon as he made "Candelabra." He has some pretty passionate scenes with Douglas and at one point straddles and kisses him in a chaise lounge. "It's not like I kiss him just once. We drew it up like a football plan," he told Playboy. Damon also has many nude scenes in the film -- something he doesn't typically do. "This movie's not going to be for everyone," he said, adding that he and Douglas have a lot of gay friends so, "we were not going to screw this up or bulls--- it."

Damon went on to say the film covers the intimacy of their relationship and portrays a marriage "long before there was gay marriage. That's not an insignificant thing."

Damon also stars in the upcoming "Promised Land" with John Krasinski - a film the two actors co-wrote. Out in limited release on December 28, "Promise Land" is directed by Gus Van Sant.

Professor : So, you Believe in GOD ?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Professor : Is GOD Good ?
Student : Sure.
Professor : Is GOD ALL - POWERFUL ?
Student : Yes.
Professor : My Brother died of Cancer even though he Prayed to GOD to Heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn't. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent )

Professor : You can't answer, can you ? Let's start again, Young Fella.
Is GOD Good?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Is Satan good ?
Student : No.
Professor : Where does Satan come from ?
Student : From . . . GOD . . .
Professor : That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this World?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Evil is everywhere, isn't it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Professor : So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer)

Professor : Is there Sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness?
All these terrible things exist in the World, don't they?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor : So, who Created them ?

(Student ha d no answer)

Professor : Science says you have 5 Senses you use to Identify and Observe the World around you. Tell me, son . . . Have you ever Seen GOD?
Student : No, sir.
Professor : Tell us if you have ever Heard your GOD?
Student : No , sir.
Professor : Have you ever Felt your GOD , Tasted your GOD , Smelt your GOD ? Have you ever had any Sensory Perception of GOD for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Professor : Yet you still Believe in HIM?
Student : Yes.
Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my Faith.
Professor : Yes, Faith. And that is the Problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?
Professor : Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as Cold?
Professor : Yes.
Student : No, sir. There isn't..

(The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events )

Student : Sir, you can have Lots of Heat, even More Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat,
a Little Heat or No Heat.
But we don't have anything called Cold.
We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is No Heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as Cold.
Cold is only a Word we use to describe the Absence of Heat.
We cannot Measure Cold.
Heat is Energy.
Cold is Not the Opposite of Heat, sir, just the Absence of it.

(There was Pin-Drop Silence in the Lecture Theatre )

Student : What about Darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as Darkness?
Professor : Yes. What is Night if there isn't Darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the Absence of Something
You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light . . . But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and its called Darkness, isn't it? In reality, Darkness isn't. If it is, were you would be able to make Darkness Darker, wouldn't you?
Professor : So what is the point you are making, Young Man ?
Student : Sir, my point is your Philosophical Premise is flawed.
Professor : Flawed ? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality. You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a Good GOD and a Bad GOD. You are viewing the Concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can't even explain a Thought. It uses Electricity and Magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view Death as the Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that Death cannot exist as a Substantive Thing.

Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your Students that they evolved from a Monkey?
Professor : If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a Smile, beginning to realize where the Argument was going )

Student : Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and Cannot even prove that this Process is an On-Going Endeavor,
Are you not teaching your Opinion, sir?
Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?
(The Class was in Uproar )

Student : Is there anyone in the Class who has ever seen the Professor's Brain?

(The Class broke out into Laughter )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's Brain, Felt it, touched or Smelt it? . . .
No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the Established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that You have No Brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then Trust your Lectures, sir?

(The Room was Silent. The Professor stared at the Student, his face unfathomable)

Professor : I guess you'll have to take them on Faith, son.
Student : That is it sir . . . Exactly !
