Although this kitchen gadget looks a bit strange, it works like a charm. I am on my second one of these grills, I love it.

This gadget is a real time-saver, it has virtually no clean up. You simply prepare your meat, put it in the bag, cook it and throw the bag away.

I thought perhaps the meat would be greasy, but the bag has a way of draining the grease away from the meat. 

To be honest with you I must give you the bad points too. I am on my second one because on the first one rather than let the time run out I turned the timer dial and then it would not work anymore. So you must be careful with the twist dial it is sensitive. But I liked the gadget enough I went and bought another one.

Also, if I am cooking hamburgers or thin steaks or chops this grill can’t be beat. But, if the steaks are thick it takes a long time to cook them to medium and generally the outside gets overcooked. However, if you get them cooked to your liking they taste great. In addition this is not really meant for a large family but for two people it is great. The bags are only big enough for two hamburgers so that limits it. The bags are also rather expensive. I do however highly recommend this kitchen gadget.

Jack Lalanne’s 108709 Power Juicer Deluxe Electric Juicer, Stainless/Black

This kitchen gadget is a keeper. I’ve bought several juicers and within a short period of time they stop working. Not so with the Power Juicer Pro. I’m sure you’ve seen the advertisements on TV for this gadget and most of the hype is true.

You have to do very little prep on the fruits and vegetables you juice. I can fit a whole peeled orange in the juicer, but have to cut up the grapefruit as it is too big.

Carrots that are large take some time to get juiced but not so on the smaller ones. But that I would expect since the bigger the carrot is the harder it is.

I do a lot of greens and it juices them with no problem, just do it along with an apple and they are happy.

I bought this juicer because I got tired of hearing how many fruits and vegetables you should eat. I don’t really like fruits and vegetables so it was difficult for me. Well the juice from this is addictive. It tastes delicious, yes even the vegetable juice if you add an apple or pear to it.

I have to say I found it really unbelievable how much difference it made in my hair and skin. They are so much softer now. Sorry I sound like a commercial, but it is true. Try it and see.

What mother, father or grandparent hasn’t played the airplane game during feeding time. If we get lucky sometimes their mouth will fly open and we get them to take a bite. If we are even luckier they don’t spit it back at us.

This kid gadget looks like something the babies will love. If nothing else they will enjoy chewing on the airplane wings.

From my point of view this gadget would be better if they had incorporated the buzzing airplane sound in the device. But I’m sure that would have prevented the dishwasher aspect of the gadget.

I have a little dog and as you know they love to bark. I have had a bark controller collar on my dog since he was small. Does it work? Yes it does. Now I have a little different model than this one mine is just a bark collar.

My dog wears the collar at all times. I find it amazing that he always seems to know when the battery is dead, and so do I because he won’t stop barking when the battery dies.

There are a lot of different model of these types of devices so you will need to find the one that is right for you. I recently saw one that you could attach to your fence and it would stop any dogs within distance from barking. I thought that was very interesting since my neighbors dogs bark a lot.

I know a lot of people think devices like this are inhumane, but where I live if your dog won’t shut up, the police will be at your door, so what else are you supposed to do?

I’m sure at some time you have seen the robot vacuum cleaner called IRobot and wondered to yourself if it really worked.

Well not long ago I was having problems with my back. Well maybe more than problems on days I could barely move and believe me when they say vacuuming is hard on your back that is an understatement.

After not being able to stand the looks of the house anymore I made a trip to buy one of  the IRobot gadgets. Wow what a lifesaver it turned out to be. I had to pay more money to get the model that is best on pet hair but it was worth it.

Not having any idea how it worked I was very concerned because my house has a lot of stairs. No need to worry, it stops and turns on its own when it detects stairs. I don’t try to get it to clean up a room that is beyond a commercial vaccum cleaner, but I run mine every day and the house looks great and the device works great.

I want to be honest about the product. At times the brushes have to be cleaned. That comes from the pet hair I have in my house. But, I simply turn the robot over and the brushes just lift out, not like a regular vacuum. I clean them put them back in and off it goes again. I love this gadget.

GE 50487 Ultrasonic Sensor Parking Alert

Do you have trouble telling if you are in the right spot when you are pulling your car into the garage? Well this little gadget uses flashing lights to guide you to the right spot for your car.

This ultrasonic parking sensor has two parts; Mount the sensor module on the wall at your cars bumper height, then mount the display module above the sensor module, being sure you have no problem seeing it. The display module has a yellow light that flashes to track the vehicle. When the display module has a constant red light you are in the right spot.

LG BD300 Network Blu-ray Disc Player

The LG BD300 Network Blu-ray Disc Player is one of my favorite technical gadgets. I bought this Blu-ray player a couple of months ago. No not because I am a nerd that has to have the clearest picture possible.

I bought this wonderful gadget because I joined Netflix and this was one of the devices that did their streaming video. Therefore, when I joined I could not only receive the Blu-ray DVD discs via mail but I could also watch instantly via my computer. However, I then purchased the LG BD300 and was able to stream the videos directly to my TV.

The results have been very pleasing so far. The picture quality received is excellent and the stream is good. I have a DSL connection at 7MB with no issues getting the streams. In the area I’m in I can’t get the 12MB or the 20MB, so I was glad the stream worked with the 7MB.

You can also use the XBox 360 to get the stream, so if you have that gaming device you wouldn’t need anything else. Except I doubt the kids will understand not being able to play their games.

The Kindle was released in November 2007.  It is a wireless reading device from Amazon.  Amazon now has over 200,000 books available for their reading device.  If you are an avid reader this device is something you’d love to get your hands on.  However, at this time Amazon is sold out of them.  Guess you weren’t the only one wanting one. 

Why do I think the Kindle is so great.  I’m a big fan of books and the books and the shelves take up an enormous amount of room.  I especially cringe at the thought of ever having to move them.
