Some quick Q&A about this app:

Q. What does the GAME HIGH do for me?

A. It aggregates all the sports news about Chicago's professional teams into a single feed. You can choose which teams to follow, and specify which news feeds you want for each team.

Q. Whoa. It's not free? You expect me to cough up my hard earned cash for this?

A. If reliable hosting was free, this app would be free. In return for your .99 cents, I will guarantee the following 3 things:

No annoying ads in the app. EVER.

No signups or requiring a new login account.

No harvesting and reselling your social data.

Q. Why create this app?

A. There were several motivations. Basically, I was tired of searching across multiple web sites to read about Chicago sports. And I wanted to read the news while riding the train. So this required a mobile app that aggregated all the news into a single feed.

Q. Why isn't there an iPhone version?

A. The short answer is that the fact that I don't own an iPhone. However, if the demand is there, I will have no problem publishing an iPhone version.

Q. In the future, can you update this app to include more teams and news feeds?

A. I welcome all suggestions for new content. If there's a good blog or website out there that you like, please feel free to recommend it.

I hope you enjoy using the GAME HIGH and welcome your feedback. Thanks.

You can find the app here...

If anyone has been paying attention to this blog over the last three years, and judging by the readership, you haven't, you may have noticed this site has been left for dead. I mean, the last blog post on this site was made back in March of 2009. Back then, it was an awkward mix of blog rolls, Google ads, and Amazon referral links. Now it's 2012 and that's no way to conduct oneself in the almighty blogosphere! So it's time to do some house cleaning and dust off this old site, clear out the old content, and start anew.

So where do we go from here?

Good question. While I still enjoy writing rambling articles about Chicago sports, that's not something that will be a frequent habit these days. So if you're looking for consistent reporting on Chicago sports, you've probably come to the wrong place. But if you're looking for a simple, easy way to read about the sports teams you care about, then maybe you've come to the right place.

Please stick around. We'll see how long this lasts :)
