0 Damn it's been a long time since an update! I promise it shan't happen again (especially now that we're three episodes ahead). Now, on with the festivities. Episode -10 is in the vein of the classic annual double issues of the comics, and from top to bottom it brings to the forefront new ways to approach fantasy gaming. Part One brings you Clinton R. Nixon (The Shadow of Yesterday) and Luke Crane (Burning Wheel), both of which bring you a way to bring characters to the fore in a fantasy setting. Ahhhh, what to say about -7? It's great, it's hardcore, it's without peer (save for Episode 0-Episode -6). If it were a Fight Battle character, it's reference point would be...it would be....well it would be big. This time around we talk about a new mechanic that might rock the world to its core and the Gamestas community game, which may be the only thing saving the race from extinction. In addition to all that, Mike Mearls, developer for Wizards of the Coast, writer of Iron Heroes, and creative genius behind Fight Battle. He answers the tough questions, and helps us make further fools of ourselves. Sit next to and absorb Episode -7.

We know you have questions about playtesting some of the newer roleplaying games out there. How do we know, you may ask? Consult page 141 of the AD&D 2nd Edition Player's Handbook, and hit the forum here with your answer. But before you head there, go ahead and start downloading Episode -4. This week, we dive into the realm of playtesting with a few words on the subject from Matt McElroy from FlamesRising.com. Our featured guest is Monica Valentinelli and her game Occupation, which is currently in production. If you've ever wanted to be in the thick of game production (and get free schwag to boot), this is the episode to listen to.
Oh, and the first to give me the answer may get a little something if they've been good this year. It may be a quick shout on the show; I may come over and clean your house. Who knows.

Once again it's Monday night and here I am putting up a new show. Pretty standard right? Well you're wrong! You'll have to listen to see just how wrong you are. I will tell you one thing though, we have as our guest Monte Cook, co-developer of Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition, and the head man of Malhavoc Press. Monte riffs about quite a few things, not least of which is the Ptolus work-out pla..., I mean Ptolus book coming out from Malhavoc. Listen and know Episode -2.

As a reward for hitting 10 full length episodes, Tyler and I were granted the ability to travel to one moment in time, returning after only a short while. The path became clear after a moment that we should go back in time to the original episodes we recorded and add a beginning and end for future repackaging. As time grew thin, Tyler mixed down the new old episode and burned it to a CD. Straight from the past with a taste of the future comes Episode 0, which contains the original four segments we recorded with additional material regarding the state of our Gamestas community.

This a great show (no I don't say that everytime; okay so I do, but its always true) with Jonathon Ridd and his game Dog Town as the focal point.
