What’s her favorite travel destination? And why does she love to paint?

Gamesville: What inspired your member name?
Mbp1201: No secret code here, just my initials and date of birth.

You mention that you love to travel. Where have been and where most would you still like to go?
I’ve been to the US coasts more than once, I love the ocean.  I’ve been to Mexico & Jamaica several times.  I’d like to go to Australia and several European destinations (maybe when I hit the big one on Three-Eyed Bingo!)

Do you have a favorite destination?
Jamaica is my hands-down favorite so far. You can’t beat the weather, landscape & reggae music, not to mention the jerk chicken. What really stole my heart though is the pure Jamaican spirit – that’s why I’ve returned so often. I’ve even made friends with beach vendors. I like to meet people & learn different customs. It seems to put life into perspective for me. I even like to take road trips with my friends. We’ve been known to head off with no particular destination in mind!

Tell us about painting…
Painting is a hobby for me, and quite honestly I’m not very good. In my teen years I liked to sketch people’s faces & have only been painting with acrylics a few years.

Did you ever go to school for it?
I’ve never had any formal training. Don’t look for my paintings in any museum, but I do find painting a good creative outlet for me.

Sounds like you keep yourself pretty busy – any time for reading?
Quite honestly, I don’t find much time to read these days.  I work every day and have my 2 grandkids several evenings a week. They are 8 and 1 1/2. But my last good book would be the Bible.

So when you *do* get a free moment, what’s your favorite game to play on Gamesville?
Three-Eyed Bingo I think, but I sometimes play Bingo Zone and Cover All. Even Frantic Fish for a change of pace. I rarely take part in the chats but often find them interesting to read. I’ve seen several people win while I was playing and have won myself a few times. I’m still waiting on the big one though… then Australia/ Europe here I come!

Dollyju’s hometown of Saint Petersburg, FL, boasts 360 days of sunshine a year! Making it a perfect match for The St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club, which was established in 1924. It gained attention as the “World’s Largest Shuffleboard Club” with 110 courts and over 5,000 members in the 1950s and 1960s.

Graves’ film career began in the 1950s with American creature features such as It Conquered the World (where he fought a grabby alien from beyond the stars) then moved to TV in the late 1960s where he played Agent Phelps on Mission: Impossible for seven years.

Around Gamesville HQ, Graves is best known for voicing this classic line as the seemingly straight-laced pilot in the movie Airplane!…

Graves married his college sweetheart, Joan, in 1950 and credited the couple’s Midwest upbringing for a marriage that lasted over 50 years.

The name “Apex” was adopted because the community was the highest point on the Chatham Railroad between Richmond, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. Also, in July 2009, CNN/Money magazine ranked Apex 44th on its list of the nation’s top places to live. Read more about this great little town here!
