We were due to review bulletstorm today but due to me not being able to finish the game in time we thought we would from tomorrow start a daily blog about the events leading up to E3 in just a little over a week.
Remember if you want to see a game reviews vote in the top of this blog.

Mafia 2 Spoiler Free Review

Graphics **** : After seeing this game advertised I remember thinking that it was similar to GTA. And that's all it is but a bit more detail nothing special and after playing LA Noire seeing mouths move out of sync is really annoying.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Gameplay ***: Once again nothing breathtaking. Imagine call of duty meets GTA and you have it in a nutshell. The biggest annoyance has to be the loading screen that appears every five minutes which really brakes the flow of the game.

____________________________________________________________________________________

Audio ****:Once again nothing amazing just the normal voice actor behind some mouth movements. The best bit has got to be the 1940's music that is plays in the background which reminds one of Fallout or La Noire.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Storyline ****: The story of an ex soldier joining a "Mafia" Has a lot of potential you would think. Somewhat far from being an epic but once again it is a very good story and somewhat saves the game from the bargain bucket.

Genral ***½: I would feel bad giving this game less or more than this. For the reason that it is neither and epic or a let down. Good to pass the time maybe if you see it for £10/$15/€12 it would be a good purchase but I wouldn't go out of your way to play this game

Tomorrow Europa Universalis III Review

Portal 2 Spoiler Free Review

Graphics **** : The graphics on this game are fairly similar to what we saw in portal 1 except that the graphics are much more clear and the texture of stuff like bouncy goo is more realistic than in other games. Mind you not many games have bouncy goo any more... ahh how much fun viva piñata would have been. A man can dream
____________________________________________________________________________________

Gameplay *****: This is a fantastic game because of this. The physics in this games makes it fun challenging at extremely funny. The puzzle vary from hitting four buttons to crying on the floor and rolled up in a ball. either way this game play is one of the best physics games in a while

____________________________________________________________________________________

Audio *****: Audio on this game makes the game even more than the gameplay. They could make this into a movie and it's comic value wouldn't decrease at all. From Wheatly to Glados this game will have you laughing for years to come. And the obsession with cake continues
____________________________________________________________________________________

Storyline ****: The story picks up somewhat we imagine millions of years after portal 1 and Glados is still destroy'd but no worry the game soon picks up its pace and the fun begins again with some of the best comedy in a game ever this is one to laugh at.
__________________________________________________________________________________

Genral ***½: The only reason it gets 4 and a half stars is because it doesn't quite reach the level of a game like La Noire but is better than Crysis. The only reason this isn't a 5 star game is because how similar it is to the first one becuase to be honest the only new things are the goo and for a new game that isn't nearly enough

____________________________________________________________________________________

Multilayer *****: This is once again a very funny experience and in good old portal style you can play it while eating cake with a friend. Without giving to much away all im saying is that the main storyline is just getting started

Crysis 2 Spoiler Free Review

2011-05-22T16:32:00.000-07:00

Graphics **** : The graphics on Crysis 2 are similar to that of Halo reach but with obvious improvements in water and weather. The people on this game are nothing special and something you would expect from call of duty as are other things including gun's and effects.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Gameplay ****: This game has one of the best gameplay experiences that i have seen in a while. In one word it is FUN this is because of the use of the "suite" and many other things such as power kicks which make the game much more enjoyable.

____________________________________________________________________________________

Audio ***: The audio on this game isn't really anything special once again similar to call of duty. every now and then the voices get a bit annoying and the same lines are repeated again and again which becomes quite tedious.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Storyline ***: The story line in this isn't very good because it just doesn't have a shock factor. its the sort of campaign from GTA as long as your having fun you just don't care about the story
__________________________________________________________________________________

Genral ***½: This game could be better if more time was spent on it but I think it defiantly has that rushed feeling and I think a few more months on it and it could have been a much more enjoyable experience

____________________________________________________________________________________

Multilayer ****: The games multilayer is good at first especially with the suits but after two hours of running around jumping and shooting the multilayer becomes boring. It just doesn't vary from game to game

La Noire Spoiler Free Review

2011-05-21T05:04:00.000-07:00

Graphics ***** : For this game graphics was one of the most promising things because of its facial animation and its detail. Needles to say the game lived up to this what you see is what you get which is pure awesomeness.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Gameplay ****: We saw in many trailers that the way to play the game was somewhat similar to the gta games and this holds true for the driving and shooting but it must be said that the looking for clues put this game at a much higher rank than GTA
____________________________________________________________________________________

Audio *****: To go with the fantastic graphics the game harbors some of the best audio seen in a long time including 20 hours of speech and that is all accompanied by some rather epic noire music as you investigate.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Storyline *****: I think that it holds a story line that Christopher Nolan would be proud of. With the in detail and the twists and turns it wouldn't surprise me if it got and Oscar this year.

__________________________________________________________________________________

Genral ****½: Despite all the great points above there are a few problems with this game including sometimes the cut scene can go on for a little longer than we would like and that the driving and shooting from previous rockstar games hasnt been improved but never the less i give this game
