“Monkey Valley Resorts Events presents Hypnotist Alan Marriott” ran like a wave through Noordhoek, South Africa, and its surroundings… and the warm and cosy Conference Room at Monkey Valley Resort – all under thatched roof and low light projecting magic shadows over the wooden panels – was packed with a vibrant audience… And the owls hooed softly in the old milkwoods as the full moon appeared…

Not sure how the wood-fired pizza tasted as Alan Marriott drove that enormous solid nail through that mind of his . . . :)

Good News: he will be back! Don’t miss a great hour of Fun, Entertainment… and Wisdom beyond the Jokes!

Me shooting a movie clip with a digital camera is already ‘something’… but I am amazed at the quality.

Next is the conversion, especially when it comes to HD formats. Download times are a pain in countries with slow connections and there it’s best to first download the entire movie and then watch it without buffering. I always have to do this… as a rule – and it’s very, very annoying with tutorials… and I wish Adobe could make an effort to get that into ‘lighter’ shape as we really suffer down here.

With my website back up since about an hour after a temperamental migration to larger servers due to higher streaming capacities, I am happy to be back with a post!

I will have to catch up with a couple of articles that got lost in the roll-back. However, Internet lines incredibly slow and sticky today again; one wonders what’s going on out there . . .

The new Air Jordan Retro 6 colourways have been release for 2010. As usual the Jordan Brand have released some unique colours in their classic retro style sneakers. Also the new colours may bring back some memories as the new editions re-live the first time MJ won a NBA title. Let us know what you think about the new releases.

Arguably one of the better Air Jordan releases in sometime, the VI sees a new colorway, appropriately dubbed the “Oreo.” The kicks take on a mostly white base with clear outsole detailing, black nubuck paneling, and splatter accents. You can grab a pair on our online store Click Here.

Following the “Oreo” release, Jordan Brand continues the VI drops with this new colorway of the sixth signature model in the brand’s iconic Air Jordan line. The kicks pay tribute to the Detroit Pistons as MJ overcome them in 1991 to lift his first title in the epic season where MJ averaged 28.2 points per game, with a colorway featuring a mostly black base with red, white, blue and silver accents amongst suede and patent leather panels. The season after Kobe Bryant was done with adidas, and before he signed with Nike, Jordan Brand outfitted the superstar with retro kicks and PEs. It’s a shame this Air Jordan 6 hadn’t been created at the time, as its “Lakers” colorway would have looked great with Los Angeles’ purple and gold uniforms. Black suede is used as the base on the toe box, forefoot and mid-panel. The remainder of the upper is done with black 3M reflective material. A white and black midsole is complimented with the standard icy clear outsole bits. The Lakers-tribute comes in with the contrast stitching that appears throughout the upper, which has been done with purple, yellow and white thread. Michael Jordan grabbed his first of six NBA Championships in VIs over the Lakers, after finally getting past the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Championships, which explains both color-ups of the Retro 6 we’ve seen. This is a re-release of the original but with a few slight changes from the 1991 release. As all you sneaker heads would know the original had a infra-red midsole and more of a gum sole, whereas the new release has a much darker red which compliments the shoe as it has being tagged the “Bulls” Edition so in contrast has being recreated with the theme of Michael Jordan’s most successful team The Chicago Bulls. This Trainer has alot of history behind it as MJ won his first title in these sneakers over the legendary “Showtime” Los Angeles Lakers led by Magic Johnson. Glass Factory in George

At the House of Ngamathuba Glass Factory in George attractive wine glasses and tumblers are made from recycled bottles they find in the George/Wilderness area in the Southern Cape. The bottles that are used are made to industrial standards and the glasses that emerge tend to be more durable than usual and ideal for repeated use. The current range consists of more than 36 designs. These can all be adapted to client’s requirements. Each bottle is cleaned, sterilized and the paper labels are removed. A diamond cutter is used to chop the bottle to produce, usually, a beer tumbler from the lower section and a flute for a wine glass from the top.

Glass recycling in the Garden Route

The wine glasses are completed by attaching an artistic base using UV-adhesive. In some cases the stems of the glasses are decorated with a pewter band or beadwork. The glasses and tumblers are ideal for use in restaurants, bars and accommodation establishments like guest houses and lodges. Another way for job creation and recycling.
