The Fourth Annual National DNA Day Ambassador Program
The Genome Institute invites you to participate!

What is DNA Day?
National DNA Day commemorates the completion of the Human Genome Project in April 2003 and the discovery of DNA's double helix structure in April 1953. It is a day that encourages students, teachers and the public to learn more about genetics and genomics.
What is involved?
Ambassadors (faculty/staff/students from The Genome Institute) will visit area schools and conduct scientific experiments with, or give talks to, students about genomics and careers in the field.
What is the cost?
This event is absolutely FREE!
Who can participate?
Everyone. Note: we are no longer acceping applications for host schools.
Interested in being an Ambassador?
Send an email to outreach@genome.wustl.edu. Put “Ambassador program” in the subject area. Provide your name, contact information, your group or department, and your availability on April 15. Prior experience is not necessary, just enthusiasm and some patience. We will send details about a DNA day clinic that will teach you what you need to know for that day.
We look forward to hearing from you.
