Groupon Snowflake Workshops are going well. If you have not booked your time please do so soon.
A group of students will be offering some of their beautiful stained glass creations at a craft sale for Festival of Trees and Lights. Everyone here at K.V. Glass Works is happy for them and wishes them all the best.
We are working on the Winter 2012 schedule. Any suggestions about what projects you would like us to do? Please let us know!

Wow its been a busy time here at K.V. Glass Works!
We ran a successful Groupon Coupon feature showcasing a small snowflake.
On Saturday October 15th we are having a "Sneak Peak" party. This is a chance for everyone to see the samples for our upcoming classes and workshops. Come have coffee and goodies while spending some time with other stained glass enthusiasts.
We have lucked out with having gorgeous weather for Manitoba so hope it stays plus 20C for a while.

While at the shop today we are going to be working on Stained Glass Pattern Packs, a wide variety of patterns designed by Kathie Vitti of K.V. Glass Works. They will be available shortly.

We organized our Fall and Christmas classes and workshops display area, ready for your viewing. We will be adding some new small tree ornaments to our present selection. Sign up for our Christmas Ornament Workshop and be the first to make these new ornaments.
During Friday September 23, 2011 morning class we had many projects going on such as pansy stepping stones, dragonfly window panels, doves (getting ready for Christmas), and a sunflower candle vases.

It has come to our attention that the Canadian made patinas by NOVACAN are limited in supply at this time. We have not been notified as to exactly when it will be available again, so it is recommended to purchase your supply before we are sold out.
This is for all patina colors (black, copper, zinc).

Intro to Glass Course at K.V. Glass Works

These classes are offered as a quick 4 day session. All the very basics of the lead wrap method are covered in this class and is meant to give you a taste of stained glass to see if you like it; yet go home with a completed project. A dragonfly with fall leaves is framed in a 7" ring.
All tools will be provided for in class use (including glass cutter).

Registration fee: $55.00 plus GST. Materials: $15.00 - $25.00
