“ Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least among you, you did not do for me.' “ - Matthew 25:41-45

As far back as I can remember I was told to share. I was taught that whenever I saw an unfortunate person, down on their luck, I should give to them generously! I never truly questioned why and I simply believed that it was just the way things worked. As I have grown and have met new, different peoples I see that very few individuals believe in this universally invaluable practice. Even worse still, those that do give to others do so with a bitter heart!

As I know many others do not yet share my view of a universal “God Puzzle”, they would not recognize themselves in the faces of those they refuse or resent. They would not see God staring them in the face asking for mere scrapings. Allow me now to share with you my view of giving, of kindness and of love for ones fellow man and let it shape your thoughts, direct your mind, towards a selfless, universal consciousness!

When you give, do so on impulse! Do not think about how much you can afford or how it will affect your finance. Give as if you were blindfolded, as if the wallet you reach into is not yours, but instead is the wallet of the universe. The money you hold in your hand is no more rightfully yours and there is plenty more where it came from! Not only does this difference in giving make a much larger impact on that individual, counting coins while giving will not give your heart the same joy as if you just grabbed on impulse!

If a man asks you for food, give him more than he can eat! You never know if someone else will be so generous as you, and he may starve tomorrow. If a man asks you for water, give him more than he could drink! A sip is likely not enough and you don’t know how long he has been without clean water. You don't know how long still it will be before he tastes it again. If another human is cold or in danger, strive to protect them! For when a soul’s physical life ends, everyone of us feels sadness regardless of whether we knew them personally. We are all connected as pieces of God!

I am constantly surprised when I meet people that wrathfully lash out at those they perceive as harming or attacking them. Many more find it difficult to live in a world filled with evil people without becoming like them. These people seem afraid of what it means to fight against the social normality imposed on them. They fail to see that their conformity to those same standards of hate and destruction does no good!

These people are living a self-fulfilling prophecy! As they continue to use their cruel behaviour as a shield, they are attracting other cruel individuals to defend themselves against. A horrific display of when one uses the law of attraction against themselves. In all truth, to harm another person is simply to harm yourself, you get no real satisfaction! It is no wonder our arms do not lash out at our legs! They each realize their place amongst the big picture!

Kindness is such a beautiful expression of God's totality! A masterpiece of cosmic relativity! You cannot weigh or measure a kindness, as its worth is relative. To the giver the kindness is without worth, it is as if it were not his to give. To the receiver the kindness is often worth more than anything else, as a true kindness comes at just the right time!

I have come to realize that God uses kindness as a link within mankind as a whole. It is one of the remarkable ways that we, as humans, play our roles in maintaining the universal balance. We can all play our own fantastic part in the cosmic ballet! We can all live as expressions of God! Pay Kindness!

As I see it there are three main factors influencing the world around us. Together these expressions of God form the day to day experience of life.

God as a whole
God as everyone around us
God as ourselves

By identifying how each of these pieces function to formulate facets of the Illusion, the “reality” we perceive from day to day, we get a fuller grasp on who we are and to what extent we function as creators. Not only creating physical possessions, but also crafting our very “reality”. Explore with me now as I share with you a deeper look into the forms God uses to influence the world around us.

God as a whole.

I struggled hardest with the identification of this expression. I often thought to myself how is it that before comprehension of universal constants a child does not simply float away, never knowing of gravity's pull on itself; never knowing it should stay on the ground, never knowing it “can't” simply float away. After all, do our thoughts not shape the world around us? I came to the conclusion that there are certain ways the world just seems to work, the universal autopilot. This is God expressed as a whole. The forces of gravity and electromagnetism, the replication of DNA and the formation of cosmic bodies are all examples of this expression. No one person has to think for these forces to exist, they just happen, they just ARE!

God as everyone around us.

Most young children, including myself, are taught to ignore the opinions of others. Be yourself and do not conform to the larger crowd. I believe this is the first time we are exposed to self-actualization, the first time we are told that we can be better than what the world wants for us and the first time we are given free reign to “buck the system”. It is also the first time that we see a glimpse of external influences. The thoughts of those around us are adding touches to our personal world although it may not at first be obvious.

If you have ever known a “toxic” individual, one who can never seem to see the bright side of things, you may already understand the affects of others on yourself. The longer you are around this type of person's negativity, the more it begins to intoxicate and seep into your core. As you become tied into their affairs they begin to bring you down. Imagine if everyone else around you constantly thought negative things, it would become very difficult to express positivity. However, extremely positive and successful people can also bring you up. Their “happy go lucky” attitude eventually begins to rub off on you. Even still, when most of humanity looks out into the world they see it as a dangerous, scary place. Those thoughts shift the world around themselves and others. These are the peoples you must avoid, lest they influence your world for the worse.

God as ourselves.

You are, depending upon your own level of consciousness, the greatest influence on the world around you. Whether it is through your thoughts or perhaps simply by your will, you are constantly shaping your piece of the Illusion. Be sure to realize, however, that there are more aspects to who you are then most people realize. There is the you in your head, your conscious mind, that is constantly interpreting information from the other parts of your mind as thoughts. These thoughts are not truly you, as they often contradict what you believe. Your conscious mind has the smallest impact on the world around you. Then there is your ego, the aspect of yourself that always has “number 1's” best interest in mind. When things don't go “your” way, they are really not going your ego's way. This piece of you is always putting it's opinion into everything you experience, it is the other voice in your head.

The most influential aspect of who you are though is your subconscious, the one most often pulling the strings. Although the conscious “you” may think it knows what you want, your subconscious mind often disagrees with the plan. Each of us has subconscious programming embedded within our minds. These “programs” most effectively alter our perceptions of reality. Conflicts within the mind most often occur due to influences by one's upbringing, their moral standing or religious dogma. It can be said that self-mastery is simply the act of getting all aspects of yourself to agree.

These three expressions of God play their part to mold the illusion around us. Finding peace with the roles they each play can, and often does, lead to the truth of our birthright. We are made to be creators, it is our nature! We all have our own set of predefined paradigms that are continuously morphing and shaping our personal worlds.

Stop fighting against the current of life and actively change its flow! Find faith in yourself, in your imagination, as it is the key to formulating your world, the key to finding your place amongst the God puzzle!

“I AM WHO I AM"

When we think of God, most often we see a modernized Judeo-Christian portrayal, the same image broadcast by the media. Perhaps an older fellow with a large gray beard, flowing white robes, maybe some sandals ala Air Moses, but rarely do we stop to think, mostly due to the paradigms we live life according to; Is this REALLY God?

Shouldn't you instead stop and think, "What does God always encompass?", or rather, "What qualities does God always seem to have in most spiritually inclined belief structures?" Then, I feel, you would begin to see a total truth and formulate a real image of who or what God is, outside of all the religious Dogma.

The basic parameters for a single, universe ruling God seem to be the following:

All Knowing
All Powerful
Was the first, will be the last.
Either is the father/mother of, or the origin of all things. He/she is connected to everything.
Most claim God and everything are the same. Everything is made of God, God is everything.
God has a sense of justice. There is always compensation for actions, punishment or reward.
God has a close connection to Mankind.

From those few points we can infer the following:

God = Everywhere
God = Everything
God = Strongest force in the Universe

Science shows us that we are a part of a theoretically “finite” universe that continues to grow and warp. There are "empty" spaces, and no discernible beginning or end. As things are made, others are destroyed, the universe is constantly recycling matter. However, we can conclude that the universe is in fact quite infinite, regardless of perceived measurement. A remarkably perpetual existence and the extent of everything we know to this point. Therefore I purpose:

Universe = Everywhere
Universe = Everything
Universe = Infinite

Now obviously we can make some simple assumptions(Not to make an ass of anyone):

God = Universe
God = Strongest force in God
God = Infinite

Religious belief systems rarely accept one another as truth, but realistically they all preach an almost exact message:

Love and Respect God
Love and Respect each other
Love and Respect yourself

One could take all commands, all decrees and put them into one of these categories.
Examples:
Do not Steal -> Love and respect each other
Do not Envy -> Love and respect yourself
Spread Faith -> Love and respect God
Steward the Earth -> Love and respect everything
When you begin to see God as literally everything it all truthfully comes down to one simple command. Love and Respect God.

If I am God, and you are God, and every person, plant, animal, river, star, cloud, etc. is God, then it is simple to see. Loving yourself is loving God. Loving your neighbor is loving God. Loving to paint is loving God. People often try to say “give honor to God” as if the simple act of putting a true loving heart into anything doesn’t in its self honor God.

Performing to your best is a phenomenal way of becoming like God. We are said to come from God, even made in his image. What child does not try to be more like their parent? I don’t think of religion in a spiritual fashion any longer, for I think all existence is a spiritual issue.

Spend a day living like everything is an expression of yourself, an expression of God. It will be the most remarkable, eye-opening experience. The world is a much more beautiful place then most of us believe. I told you I would help you to see God, find out who YOU are. The reason you search so earnestly, the reason you feel attached to something BIGGER than yourself; You are a perfectly formulated piece of the "God puzzle". Break free from your dogmatic prison, tearing away doubts, fears and beliefs. You are everything perfect in this world, start living like it. This is your moment of freedom.

Who|What am I?

“God said, Let us make man in Our image” (Genesis 1:26)

This simple, yet complex question is asked by everyone seeking peace of mind at one point in their life. Am I a Man? Am I a Spirit? Am I a Soul? Am i an Alien? All too often this most asked question goes, sadly, unanswered! Despite the number of contemporary religious belief systems, self-help humanistic ideologies and no matter how often it is asked, most of man-kind in this modern age does not seem to have an answer.

How can you find an answer to a question so wrapped up in esoterica? Something that is, in its base element, born of the realm of mystics and priests, angels and demons, ghosts and fairies. Oftentimes I feel that it is over complicated by people's preconceptions and beliefs, and if they viewed the world as a whole they would thus begin to realize who or what they are!

This generation is starving for something to believe in. We chase after any source of spirituality in the hopes that we will find peace of mind. Rarely, though, do we see people "stop and smell the roses" so to say. We look for God in all the sacred places, but fail to see the real truth of what or where God is!

What if I told you that I too once searched for God? That when I felt I had finally found him, he slipped between my fingers? If you too have felt the brief enlightenment and then the crushing abandonment, perhaps I can help you.

What if I told you that I know where God is? That I could help you to find what you are searching for? Not as a prophet, but as an equal. I had spent my life chasing after the wind, but it wasn't until I gave up that I was finally able to see.
