I've always like Marni. Love the earth tone, simple yet chic cutting. cool yet feminine. Its gorgeous wedges has been on my to-have list for quite some time.
Recently, I fell in love with wearing socks and heels. And these Marni socks caught my eyes in no time. Way too fabulous that I am going to recreate this look.

Tips: If you are petite and have short calves like I do, finding a pair of perfect socks may not be easy. But... when you do find the right length, it is going to visually elongate your legs and give your outfits some styling points.

Took a few photos by myself yesterday for my business. (more like I'm selling clothing on e-bay or etsy)

I resided in LA after graduation, my style is highly influenced by its positive culture, which is be eco-friendly and healthy.

LA people love vintage. Our weekend activities usually consist of visiting flea market and having an organic meal after. I still remember the day I ran into designer Jeremy Scott at Melrose Trading Post, we both love vintage leather boots hunting. Sadly, I didn't ask him for a photo.

早前於洛杉磯定居,衣着深受其文化影嚮.LA極注重環保及健康.

所以洛杉磯人甚喜愛古着, 週未活動定必是到跳蚤市場尋寶, 然後去吃一份有機午餐。

還記得那次在Melrose Trading Post 巧遇 designer Jeremy Scott, 原來我們二人也愛到那古着皮鞋店.

可惜的是我並沒有上次要求合照

1. beauty diary masks from Taiwan

Got three boxes of flavored masks - firming chocolate cherry, whitening pearl, and moisturizing aloe. They may not be as effective as ginseng facial masks, but the prices make it affordable to enjoy a treatment a day and still give my skin a healthy grow.

2. cucumber spray from Taiwan

Thought it could give me major moisturizing like evian, and use it during the day after make up. Sadly, I am a bit disappointed and did not experience any difference after using.

3. skin food teal vitamin nail polish from Korea

instead of buying chanel, this colored nail lacquer is full of vitamin and advanced formula. Did I mention it is much cheaper with a similar result compared to designer.

4. black head remover from Japan

Mum bought it for me, haven't try yet.

Took these two home.

This is a rather old vintage sunglasses hunt adventure from 3 months ago.

Though I was born and raise in Hong Kong, I had never step foot in this store.

It is quite lovely to find such historic store in a big city. My shopping tip is you have to chit chat and make friends with Mrs. Tang, the co-owner/ buyer of the store, not that you can bargain, but at least she would show you her precious deadstocks that are hidden at the back of the store.

diy: destroy denim cut-off

Voila!!!

I further distressed the denim after this photo, but this is what my finished product looks like.

tips:

- Vintage jeans may seem unflattering.

As long as the waist line and thigh area fit you, you can turn it into an extraordinary cut-off.

- Different tools have different effects. I suggest doing some trials on scrap denim.

- Be a little conservative when you snap the denim into desirable length.

You can always cut it shorter, but you cannot sew fabric back on a awfully short denim.

- The process could get dusty, be ready to clean up after the project to avoid mum's yelling.

Now you can have a one of a kind denim.

Dad is getting a 46" TV claiming it's a gift to mum and I. Well, we know who is going to be the biggest beneficia, not me. I rather have a new gadget over a tv I don't use.

1. macbook pro

Sick of having a bulky window desktop in my tiny room. After trying my boyfriend's new macbook, the track pad is simply amazing. Since I travel often, my current macbook has developed a few cracks. Apple computer all the way.

2. Vinyl Decals

Since I am not getting a new laptop anytime soon, a little decor could spice things up.

The OG snow white sticker is bad.

3. Leica

I am no gadget freak. I don't lust over trends like new phones or gadgets, but I do need a new camera. My 2 year old samsung got accidentally stepped on by me. The bling out olympus was dropped numerous time or even got thrown like a baseball, hence it is no longer flamboyant. This pocket size DC is perfect without compromising for quality photos, except the price makes me grasp.

For the first time, I am having a full make-up on with lipstick.

I really like red lips. It makes me feel very sexy and completes my Dolce & Gabbana look.

Somehow, the make-up accentuate my barely there Russian features.

Maybe this would allow me to dream of being the famous Russian supermodel - Irina, who has C Ronaldo as her lover and a song dedicated to her.

I just love the way he sings "baby".

diy: chain bracelet

I received this necklace as a gift when I was a freshman high. It's not something I would wear as a necklace anymore and it would be a waste to toss it out or just let it sit there.

Prepare 2 tongs, which you should be able to find at Michaels or hardware store, and measure your wrist. Disassemble the components and adjust the chain into the desire length.

Once you adjust the length of your chain, remove the undesired decor and put the hook back into place.

Viola! You have a cool chain bracelet and now you can style accordingly.

Hong Kong is getting hot and humid, summer essential - tee shirt, has become my go to item. Leaving my flamboyant bold tee aside and putting on the can-never-be-wrong white tee, following by drawing thin eyeliners precisely on my eyelids. I can easily leave home in about 30 mins, of course, wear enough accessories as well to give my causal outfit some characteristic. When I get home, I enjoy having french bread with e.v.o.o. and this delicious 20 year-old Italian vinegar dip. That's my dinner!

Chole inspired outfits. This vintage linen blazer I found in my unbelievably packed closet is still chic after all these years. The eyelets on it make it look more summer and breezy. These lovely prada corchet sandals are a gift six years ago, from mum's friend. Honestly, I have never worn them out of the door. Somehow, they just don't support my feet very well. Girls just love to admire those beautifully crafted shoes when the weather is bad.
