Plan B pills are Abortion? The standard for conception doctors and/or scientists use is implantation in the uterine wall, for the very obvious reason that if it hasn't attached itself into the uterine wall it will never get the nutrients it needs/will be flushed out. Plan B prevents attachement to the uterine wall. Ergo, abortion is impossible*. You are allowed your own opinions, but when you have to twist medical definitions to justify them I reject them summarily.

*- There is an extremely small hypothetical possibility that Plan B pills could cause an actual abortion, but in so far as it is extremely small and hyothetical, I put it with all the other extremely small and purely hypothetical possibilitys that cause 1/3 of pregnacys to end in miscarrige in the first trimester. Like eating too many mini-wheats or getting coughed on in the office.

You said the A word. I bet you're silly enough to think of it more as a killing and less of a liberation.

The baby making dance has been divorced from making babies. Only immigrants and those of more faith than average break the mold.

Social security was going to be paid by the next generation, but only when we had a baby boom. That's a long time ago.

Western culture thinks of a pregnant woman as a fat slave. People don't see children as a gift or a legacy, they see them as annoying dependents.

While there is an epidemic of single mothers in America, who wind up raising fatherless children with legal issues, I can't blame them.

Oh well, even if hostile nations swell in population while we flounder, the future was never going to be very pretty.

I have read Artemis Fowl several times over. I suppose it depends on what you are looking for in a book. I love anything well phrased, and I love emotional intensity.

Artemis Fowl is very well written, with an interesting style, providing the well-phrased bit.
The emotion is subtle in the first book, but grows strong, intense, and deep along with Artemis's character development.

This satisfies my requirements for a book as much as any classic. (Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of those too!)

I read them again and again, and love them more every time I do.

In my mind, this is truly a great series.

GEMINI - The Twin
Nice. Love is one of a kind. Great listeners. Very Good at confusing people... Lover not a fighter, but will still knock you out. Geminis will not take any crap from anyone. Geminis like to tell people what they should do and get offended easily. They are great at losing things and are forgetful. Geminis can be very sarcastic and childish at times and are very nosey. Trustworthy. Always happy. VERY Loud. Talkative. Outgoing. VERY FORGIVING. Loves to make out. Has a beautiful smile. Generous. Strong. THE MOST IRRESISTIBLE.
Apparently, Zach, you've forgotten to let people know you're alive and well in Colorado Springs. At least, I hope you're well!
