Marian Rivera, Richard Gutierrez to do Intimate Kissing, Bed Scenes in “My Lady Boss” Movie -- During a recent press interview with GMA’s primetime queen Marian Rivera on the set of the upcoming Valentine movie “My Lady Boss,” she was grilled with questions pertaining to a very intimate kissing scene with her leading man in the movie, Richard Gutierrez.

So did she “enjoy” it?

“Actually, ‘pag nag-roll ang camera hindi na ako si Marian Rivera, ako na si Evelyn,” quipped Marian. “As Evelyn, inenjoy ko si Zack (Richard’s character),” she continued.

As much as possible, Marian avoids doing very intimate kissing scenes with his leading men in TV series and films and she does not easily agree to doing bed scenes unless the story really calls for it.

“Malaki ang tiwala ko kay Chard (Richard). Besides, ever since naman na nagkatrabaho kami hindi naman siya nag-take advantage sa akin at siya mismo ‘yong umaalalay sa akin e,” shared the actress.

She clarified, however, that in her seven years in the business, she has not experienced being taken advantage of by any of her previous leading men.

“Siguro ‘yon ‘yong isa sa dahilan kung bakit proud ako sa sarili ko kasi kahit sino ang naka-eksena ko, never kong naramdaman na hindi ako nirespeto,” she said.

It is not Marian’s first time to work in a movie with Richard. In fact, their first movie team up was in the romantic-comedy film “My Best Friend’s Girlfriend (My BFGF),” which was released almost five years ago (2008).

Marian says a lot has changed between her working relationship with Richard during the “My BFGF” days and now in “My Lady Boss.”

Nung nakatrabaho ko siya sa “My BFGF,” he was very okay, sincere at sweet siya sa lahat pero ngayon parang mas malalim yung pagiging ganoon niya sa akin,” said Marian about Richard. “Minsan niloko ko siya na nagugutom ako at gusto ko nito tapos dinalhan niya ako ng food pero hindi lang ako ha; lahat ng taong nandito dinalhan niya ng food. Mas naging sweet siya, mas lumawak yung pag-iisip niya tungkol sa pagkakaibigan naming dalawa. Masarap siyang kasama. ‘Yun din siguro yung isang espesiyal sa aming dalawa: ‘pag magkasama kaming dalawa, although alam naming trabaho ‘to at pinagbubutihan namin, ineenjoy pa rin namin.

“May mga times na kahit seryoso ‘yung eksena namin tawa lang kami nang tawa. Ang saya lang. Hindi mo maramdaman ‘yong pressure sa set. Nag-uusap kaming dalawa kung anu-ano yung makakabuti para sa eksena namin. Nagsusuggest kami sa isa’t isa – isang bagay na hindi namin nagawa dati,” Marian added.

Although Marian and Richard are both in a relationship, they still manage to be convincingly sweet on-cam. Marian spills the beans.

“Siguro kasi mas lumalim na ‘yong samahan naming dalawa. Akala ko kasi since after the ‘My BFGF’ ay hindi na kami ulit nagkasama sa soap opera o sa isang pelikula magkakaroon na kahit papaano ng ‘wall’ o magkakahiyaan pero unexpectedly, nagkaroon pa kami ng mas matinding bonding, mas lumalim pa yun samahan namin, mas nakilala pa namin ang isa’t isa,” she explained.

Unlike “My BFGF,” “My Lady Boss” promises to be “sexier,” “wilder” and more “intense” without of course dropping the comedy portion. In fact, apart from the very passionate kissing scene, Marian and Richard also have several bed scenes in the movie.

“Kasi sa ‘My BFGF’ bakya talaga ‘yong character ko dun e, dito kasi hindi. So first time ko sa isang pelikula na magiging maldita ako, at lalambot, at maiinlove at migiging ‘wild’ sa huli,” Marian revealed. “Medyo kakaiba ito para sa akin. Siguro it’s about time na i-open ko na ‘yong pinto ko para sa ganitong klaseng eksena (laughs).”

”My Lady Boss” is a joint production of GMA Films and Regal Films and is directed by Jade Castro. It will hit nationwide theatres soon.

For January alone, GMA is set to launch its newest originating station and takes part in three of the country's grandest festivals.

Producers Reportedly Spent Close to P80M for "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles" -- During the press conference of the upcoming horror film "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles" the producers of the film confirmed reports that they have apparently spent close to P80million for its production.

Given the complexity of the film's effects, it is not unlikely that its total cost would reach close to the rumored amount, explained the producers. While the live action sequences were shot within just 28 days (still unusually longer than most local productions), the post-production stage took more than a year to complete.

Starring Dingdong Dantes with Lovi Poe, Joey Marquez and Janice de Leon, the film by acclaimed director Erik Matti is produced by five different film companies: Reality Entertainment, Agostodos Pictures (owned by Dingdong Dantes), Reality Entertainment’s sister companies and post-production arms PostManila and Mothership and GMA Films.

"Tiktik," which is poised to be the biggest and perhaps the most expensive horror movie of 2012, is the only full-length Filipino film shot entirely in chroma key or "green screen" technology. It also utilised somewhere between 30 and 40 computer graphics (CG) artists to create the complex three-dimensional environments and creatures which were seamlessly incorporated into the live action footage. "Tiktik" joins the ranks of only a handful of films shot in this kind of technology including the Hollywood produced "300" and "Avatar."

Watch out for the biggest horror movie of the year -- "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles" -- coming to nationwide theatres beginning October 17. GMA Kapuso Foundation Bridges Gap Between Donors and Beneficiaries

The year 2012 has so far been another productive and meaningful one for GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF), the socio-civic arm of broadcast company GMA Network, Inc.

From January 2012 to date, the Foundation made its rounds in various communities all over the country serving a total of 432,444 individuals through various health, education, disaster relief, and values formation projects.

“The Foundation is committed to ensuring the sustainable operations of its programs. As we recognize our role of being a “strong bridge” between donors and beneficiaries, we make it a point to actively promote our initiatives to generate maximum funding for all of our projects,” shared GMA Kapuso Foundation Executive Vice President and COO Mel Tiangco.

Year to date, GMAKF was able to collect a total of P 71,390,316.53 worth of cash donations and P 18,461.703.78 worth of donations in kind from donors here and abroad.

The first seven months of 2012 was highlighted by several major events including the inauguration of 5 new classrooms in Camarines Norte in January. Immediately after, the team went to Iligan to commence construction of 10 new classrooms in Brgy. Mandulog in Iligan, where the construction of the Kapuso Village is also ongoing. The first 7 classrooms were turned over in June, just in time for the school opening, while the remaining 3 classrooms, along with the first 20 houses of the Kapuso Village, had just been turned over last September 1.

It further supported the cause of education through its long-running Unang Hakbang Sa Kinabukasan Project, which marked its 15th anniversary this year. With this project, 45,208 incoming Grade 1 pupils from all over the country received a complete set of school supplies.

The Foundation also strengthened its regional presence with the launch of its Davao Chapter, which was aimed at enhancing the delivery of service to underprivileged residents of Davao and nearby regions, last August 17. This is in addition to the 3 other chapters established in Cebu, Iloilo and Dagupan.

The presence of GMAKF regional chapters proved to be beneficial in times of calamities making the Foundation’s relief response more prompt and effective than ever. For instance, when the intensity 6.9 earthquake hit Negros Oriental in February, the advance deployment of the GMAKF Cebu Regional office facilitated the transfer of relief goods from Cebu to Dumaguete.

As disasters abound this year - from typhoon Gener, monsoon rains and floods, earthquakes, landslides & fires - GMAKF ensured the continuous mobilization of donations and volunteers serving a total of 374,889 individuals though its Operation Bayanihan disaster relief program.

Under its Health program, GMAKF has so far served a total of 12,079 patients through various medical assistance projects. Among these are the “Isang Tuwa at Isang Pag-Asa” project, a joint undertaking with Tahan-Tahanan, for children battling with cancer; the five-day medical, surgical and dental mission in Tabuk, Kalinga, a pilot project conducted with the Rotary Club of University District Manila and the Philippine Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry (PCPI), as well as other medical missions conducted all throughout the previous months of the year.

On top of the abovementioned number of beneficiaries, more Filipinos also benefited from the newly-constructed classrooms and sanitation facilities built for Sendong victims in Iligan; while countless lives were saved from the Sagip Dugtong Buhay bloodletting events held in February and August.

“We are thankful for the continued and generous support of our donors for without them these accomplishments would have never materialized,” said Tiangco. “We are, however, most grateful for their confidence and trust that inspire us to go above and beyond our duties as we continue to bring help and assistance to those who truly need them,” she added. South Luzon Protege Arny Ross Regrets Poor Performance in Short Film Exercise

From the time she was presented as one of the Final 20 contestants in the GMA artist search, Protege: The Battle for the Big Artista Break up until last week, South Luzon protege Arny Ross has consistently showed the makings of a star. She exuded confidence, stage presence and talent, and quite honestly, she stood above most of her contenders in terms of "X-factor."

Last Sunday, however, the judges were not impressed by Arny's performance in her group's short film.

"Nagulat ako kay Arny kasi last time magaling ang performance niya, nakikita ko yung emotion niya kahit sumasayaw siya. Dito para lang siyang dumaan, parang extra lang," commented judge Atty. Anna Teresa Gozon-Abrogar.

Arny said that she knew the very moment she read the script that her very "simple" role in the story will put her in a compromising situation.

"Sa akin po, nung nabasa ko po yung script talagang na-simplehan po ako sa role ko. I'm expecting na sana next time ay mabigyan ako ng mas mabigat na role para mapatunayan ko na mas may kaya pa akong mapatunayan dito sa Protege," said Arny.

Arny hopes to regain her mentor's (and the judges') confidence in her by doing better this week.

"Next week po talaga kung meron man pong ibibigay sa akin ng mas challenging role I'm sure na ibibigay ko po talaga yung best ko. Magfo-focus po ako at magco-concentrate sa ipapakita ko," she said.

Meanwhile, as if the world turned upside-down, the usually shy and underperforming Thea Tolentino received praises from the judges during last Sunday's gala night.

"Thea, you have the looks of a star and at least ikaw, nakitaan kita ng sensitivity sa acting mo," commented judge Atty. Abrogar shortly after the group's short film was shown.

In an interview after the show, Thea said that she's very happy to have impressed Atty. Abrogar. "Masaya po,pero alam ko pong hindi ko pa po talaga nabigay yung best ko. Feeling ko yung naging performance ko ay so-so lang kaya pagbubutihan ko po sa susunod," she said.

The lone male protege in Thea and Arny's group, Jeric Gonzales of Laguna, also fell short of the judges expectations.

"Jeric, mukha kang star pero sobrang kulang yung pinakita mong acting today. Masasayang lang ang looks mo kung hindi mo maho-hone nang mabuti," said Atty. Abrogar.

With the clock to the final week constantly ticking, it is wise for all of the remaining 14 proteges to heed the comments and advise not only of their mentors but also of the judges, especially because their scores have more weight than the text votes.

This week, the proteges will again embark in a new exercise that will test their readiness to stand in the middle of the spotlight. Who won't make it next week? Let's wait and see. (30)

Protege Andres Vasques on His Two Acting Awards: "Hindi ko po ito inasahan"

He may not be a full-fledged astista yet but Andres Vasquez has already reaped two acting awards from last Sunday's Protege gala night. Andres was one of those few proteges who were awarded for their exemplary performance in last week's acting exercise wherein all the proteges got the chance to act alongside the "Diamond Star" Ms. Maricel Soriano in five short films directed by Cannes Film Festival award-winning director Brillante Mendoza and written by Palanca awardee Floy Quintos.

The 21-year old protege from Metro Manila was awarded as Best Male Protege by Ms. Maricel Soriano and was also chosen by Brillante Mendoza to receive the Breakthrough Performance by an Actor Award.

After the show, Andres was lost for words when he was interviewed backstage about the awards he received.

"Masayang masaya ako kasi actually hindi ko talaga inasahang magkakaroon ako ng award at hindi naman nila sinabi sa amin na meron palang awarding na mangyayari, nalaman lang namin bago mag-gala. Tapos ito biglang may dumating, tapos dalawa pa, kaya talagang napa-wow nalang ako," said Andres.

Before joining Protege, Andres has already been acting as a professional theater actor. He became a stage performer after he was spotted by a theater director while he was working part-time in a fast food chain. From then on, stage acting has become part of his daily routine.

"Binibigay ko po talaga yung sarili ko sa pag-arte ko. Ang goal ko lang talaga ay mapakita ko yung acting talent ko and maging safe ako sa elimination," he shared.

Apart from Andres, Elle Ramirez (Mega Manila) also received a special award for Best Female Protege and the Visayas Team for Best in Ensemble Acting. (30)

"Protege" bids goodbye to North & Central Luzon's Reese Tayag -- For most of the proteges, this week's gala night is just one of a series of nerve-wracking, anxiety-ridden activities that they have to go through as the road to the big artista break gets narrower each week. But for North and Central Luzon protege Reese Tayag, this week's elimination night is the end of her journey in the competition. Reese was eliminated after scoring the lowest in an acting performance wherein all proteges were given the chance to act alongside the "Diamond Star" Maricel Soriano in five short films directed by Cannes Film Festival awardee Brillante Mendoza and written by Palanca awardee Floy Quintos.

"Sa ngayon po sobrang malungkot po ako dahil wala na po ako sa show at mamimiss ko po ang mga kapwa ko protege," shared Reese during an interview after the show. "Pero wala naman po akong pagsisisi sa sarili ko. Nagkataon lang siguro po na hindi talaga napakita yung kaya ko pong ipakita. Naniniwala po ako sa sarili ko na ginawa ko po yung best ko," she said.

Although Reese is out of the competition, she is not giving up on her dreams to become an 'artista.'

"Naniniwala po ako kay Papa God na lahat po nang nangyari ay may dahilan. Manalo man o matalo, dun palang sa pagiging part ko ng Top 20 panalo na po para sa akin iyon," she said.

Reese thanked her mentor Ricky Davao for everything she has learned from the actor-director.

"Sobrang malaking bagay po sa akin ang mga iyon. Iyon po yung mga bagay na kahit kailan ay hindi masusuklian sa buhay ko."

Only thirty percent of the total score was based on the text votes while seventy percent was taken from the average of the scores given by the four judges -- director Bert de Leon, actress Cherie Gil, GMA executive Anna Teresa Gozon-Abrogar and actor-comedian Joey de Leon. Reese, however, does not take her elimination personally against the judges.

"Nirerespeto ko naman ang opinion ninyo at yung desisyon po ninyo, at doon naman sa mga sumuporta sa akin at nagtiwala, maraming salamat pa rin po dahil kung hindi po dahil sa inyo ay hindi po ako makakarating dito," said Reese.

Reese's ever supportive mother who watched the gala night inside the studio quickly cheered up her daughter after walking down the stage.

"Sabi po ng mama ko sa akin, 'Anak, wag kang umiyak, ngumiti ka lang. Diba nga tulad ng lagi mong sinasabi may dahilan lagi si Lord para sa lahat. Hindi man ikaw ang manalo ngayon malay mo bukas makalawa yun naman ang big break mo,'" shared Reese.

Reese said that she will miss all of her fellow proteges especially Shelly and Steffi who are her closest friends inside the quarters. Inside another dressing room adjacent to where Reese was interviewed, the other proteges were comforting Shelly and Steffi who were also very much affected by their friend's elimination.

Aside from Reese, two other proteges came close to leaving the competition. They are Vien Alen King of Mega Manila and Japs de Luna of North and Central Luzon.

Prior to the announcement of Reese's elimination (during the commercial break), bottom protege Vien Alen broke into tears thinking that he would be eliminated. After the show, Vien Alen admitted to being anxious about the elimination.

"Naisip ko po talaga na ako yung matatanggal kasi yung dalawang team mates ko po kasi talagang magagaling po sila kaya naiyak po ako kasi alam ko pong ginawa ko rin naman po yung best ko," explained Vien.

Special Awards
One of the surprises this week was the awarding of special awards to proteges who showed commendable performance in the short films. Andres also received the Director's Choice Award for Breakthrough Performance.

The Visayas team, on the other hand, received the Best in Ensemble Acting.

The special awardees were automatically saved the eliminations.

A tougher week ahead
The number of proteges who survived the cut so far is down to 14, and it will even get smaller each week until the grand finals wherein only one male and one female protege will be hailed as victors.

Robert Blair Carabuena Apology Letter to Fabros and MMDA Chairman Tolentino -- Blair Carabuena went to the MMDA office on Thursday to pronounce his public apology, specially to MMDA traffic constable Sonny Fabros and Chairman Tolentino. Below is the snapshot of Carabuena's statements:

Carabuena is facing charges for assaulting a government official, traffic aide Sonny Fabros, in a road rage which took place earlier this month. The incident was caught on video by a TV 5 crew while on idle traffic somewhere in Tandang Sora. Netizens and people in the offline world got enraged and even resorted to online bashing and cussing of Blair Carabuena, a human resources manager of Philip Morris Fortune Tobacco Corporation.

Earlier today, MMDA traffic discipline office head Yves Gonzalez posted a photo of Carabuena, while reading his statement of apology at the MMDA Chairman's office.

The photo got tremendous reactions of different tones - some are happy and thankful, while some are angry and demanding that Robert Blair Carabuena must face the legal consequences still, of this wrong doing to a government official. MWSS Website Hacked -- Reports had it that the website of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System or MWSS has been hacked or defaced by a local hacker who identified him/herself with the code "l4stl00k". The hacker wanted the MWSS to strengthen its online security measures for the company website, thus the lesson.

The hacker's message:

This is not first hacking incident on your site, I did forwarn you by uploading l4stl00k.html, but you utterly ignored it. So now, I made it very obvious so you will do your job to secure the site. Do it before foreign hackers totally destroys this site. This is #OPNotify by l4stl00k.

Mikael Daez and Andrea Torres topbill GMA-7’s Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga Remake

Following the success of Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, GMA-7 recreates another one of its very own masterpieces with the upcoming remake of Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga. The original version ran for two successful years, and still remains as one of GMA’s most popular teledramas to this day.

In the modern version, promising Kapuso stars Mikael Daez and Andrea Torres will breathe new life to the roles previously portrayed by Dingdong Dantes and Tanya Garcia.

“Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga became very popular when it first aired 10 years ago at time when viewers were starting to notice GMA’s primetime offerings. The show opened many doors for its original lead stars, and we’re hoping that the new version will do the same for Mikael and Andrea,” says SAINN program manager Hazel Abonita.

Mikael, who completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Management at the Ateneo de Manila University, worked as a part-time commercial and print ad model for several prominent local brands before joining showbiz full time.

His first major break as an actor came when he landed the role of Lumad, one of Marian Rivera’s love interests in the epicserye Amaya. He later appeared in the primetime series My Beloved, where he first had the opportunity of working with his new leading lady, Andrea. The two never had scenes together, but everyone, back then, kept teasing Mikael and Andrea to each other. Unknown to both, they will end up as a pair in this GMA afternoon drama.

In the 2012 version of SAINN, Mikael will take on the role of Carlos Miguel Altamonte (originally portrayed by Dingdong).

Meanwhile, Andrea first appeared on television via the former youth oriented showKa-Blog on GMA. She was later cast in other Kapuso shows includingSpooky Nights, Blusang Itim, and My Beloved.

She also starred in movies like Shake Rattle and Roll and You To Me Are Everything. She is taking up Communication Arts at the University of Sto. Tomas.

Andrea will reprise the role of Cecilia Fulgencio (played in the original version by Tanya). She will play both the real and fake Cecilia after her character figured in a bombing incident in the story.

Completing the cast are Ms. Alicia Alonzo, Jan Marini, Ynna Asistio, Jace Flores, Marky Lopez and the team up of Rita Avila and Jestoni Alarcon. Also in the cast is Gabby Engelmann.

SAINN is directed by Roderick Lindayag and written by RJ Nuevas, whose concept gave birth to the original SAINN.

Filipino filmmakers showcase their artistic and cinematic works via Cinemalaya.

This year, one of Cinemalaya’s much-anticipated entries is 'Ang Katiwala' topbilled by award-winning Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo.

In the story, Dennis portrays the role of Ruben who loses his job as a carpenter in a small town in Zambales. Desperate to sustain their living, he accepts a job as a caretaker of an abandoned property in Quezon City.

He finds out that the previous owner of the house is an important figure in the country’s history. He starts reading up to get to know more about the life of this person, his accomplishments and what he has done for the people.

His fascination about the person’s life and his inevitable hero-worship irks the only friend he has in the sprawling compound, the night-shift security guard, Gimo, who jokes that Ruben is slowly being possessed by the soul of his new hero. As the film unfolds, more strange things begin to unravel as Ruben probes deeper and deeper into the life of the house's mysterious owner.

According to Dennis, being part of this project is one of the highlights of his showbiz career.

Alam mo napakagandang experience nito sa akin bilang aktor. Parang mas lalo pa akong natuto sa aking craft. Panigurado, hindi ito ang huling pelikulang gagawin ko for Cinemalaya. Saka, hinahangaan ko si Direk Aloy for working very hard for this project. I hope marami pang pelikulang ganito na magawa sa Philippine Movie Industry.

It is not the first time that Director Aloy Adlawan had the chance to work with Dennis, in fact they have worked together for GMA’s afternoon program Magdusa Ka in 2008.

Direk Aloy expresses his happiness that Dennis accepted the project. “Alam niyo when I was writing the script for Ang Katiwala, nasa isip ko na talaga si Dennis na gumanap sa role ni Ruben because he has proven to be one of the best actors of his generation. I’m glad na tinanggap at ginampanan niya ng mabuti ang proyekto.”

Marian Rivera Goes Ballroom Dancing with Senior Citizens

GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera was caught last week by her fans dancing with a group of senior citizens in front of the Veterans’ Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City. Many netizens have speculated that it was a shoot for a new show but only a few got it right -- the shoot was actually for GMA’s upcoming station ID, which will air this August.

Prior to the shoot, Marian had a quick practice with a dance instructor who was amazed at how quickly the beautiful actress memorized the steps.

Despite the drizzle, Marian along with fellow kapuso leading ladies Kris Bernal, Sarah Lahbati and Louise delos Reyes, had a great time shooting with the seniors, some of whom enjoyed the privilege of being the gorgeous ladies’ dance partners. Marian also introduced her version of the Cha-Cha, which was more similar to her popular “Sabay Sabay Tayo” dance step.

Marian has all the reason to dance. Many of her popular kapuso shows have been (or are currently being) aired in various countries abroad, specifically in countries like China, Cambodia, Ghana, Malaysia and Singapore.

“Siyempre, nakakataba ng puso na sa bawat soap na ginagawa mo ay hindi lang yan napapanood dito sa atin kundi maging sa ibang bansa, ibang saya ang nadudulot nun e,” she says of her shows’ international presence.

Marian shared that she happened to watch her fantasy series Diyesebel in Cambodia when she visited the country over a year ago.

“Siyempre bonus na rin sa aming mga artista na sa bawat ginagawa namin ay naaappreciate siya sa ibang bansa at binibili siya para ipalabas doon. Nakaka-proud na yung gawa nating mga Pinoy ay kinukuha rin sa ibang bansa,” she says.

It seems that the shows in which she starred with her real-life boyfriend Dingdong Dantes appeal to international audiences, is there a plan for another Dingdong-Marian team-up anytime soon?

With Dong [Dingdong Dantes] mukhang wala pa kasi katatapos lang din naman ng My Beloved, siyempre hindi naman kailangan palagi kaming magkasama. Siguro this time, kanya-kanya muna kaming soap.

Marian currently stars in the sitcom “Tweets for My Sweet,” which airs every Saturday evening on GMA-7. Since its launch in May, the show has been garnering favorable ratings nationwide. It is for this reason that the kapuso primetime queen is thankful to her fans.

Since the coming of its finale, American Idol has been the talk of the town and across the social media in the online arena. Today marks the announcement of the results and winner of the 2012 American Idol and we got, Phillip Phillips as the new crown owner.

The American Idol winner was announced after the votes were completely tallied for the record. In the end, Phillips reigned supreme in the 3-songs finale series, toppling down teenager American, of Filipino and Mexican descent Jessica Sanchez. Phillips sang "Home", while Sanchez did "Change Nothing".

The 3 American Idol judges praised Phillips on all of his 3 songs in the run, while Jessica was faulted in her "lackluster rendition" of the song "Change Nothing" as her 3rd piece.

I am not a fan of American Idol or its seasons for that matter but as far my choice of music is concerned, I think Jessica Sanchez nailed it in almost all aspects of performance. Minus the text voting, which is basically concealed when it comes to the final results or how many votes a contestant have gathered. The panel of judges too have something big to influence the American Idol results. In there, we got Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steve Tyler. These members of the stage judges possess and prefer varied genre of music.

But with all the glory of giving reasonable doubts to the American Idol competitors, I think Phillip Phillips still got what it takes to win the American Idol finale. It is just sad that while Jessica Sanchez needed to stretch out all of her nerves to pull out a fantastic song performance, and thereby earn a bunch of standing ovations from the crowd, Phillips only got to take it slow and mellow and pull out an ounce of country/rocker-voice to win the season. He just have to bring his guitar on the stage, pluck his way and there you go - instant American Idol winner. I am not bitter with the results because I am a Filipino. What I mean is that, the judging and some of its systems and components have to be reviewed.

For the record, these are the comments of the judges after Phillip's performance.

Dude I love the song, I love the production. Everything about that was perfect.
