We can at least stop the bleeding.

-Let me start off by saying that I do not have student loan debt. I am very fortunate that I was able to obtain scholarships to get my college tuition payed for with out the need for a bank loan. I have a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a minor in Communications.-

There are many people to point the finger at who has caused this new very very large financial bubble that will plague our country for decades. I blame three main culprits for this brilliant scheme to keep the masses oppressed and in an indentured servitude state to the corporations that hire them. The employers, the universities and the United States Federal Reserve are all responsible for this slavery. The end of the tunnel is in sight because I have a solution. Let me first describe how each party benefits and why its in their best interest to continue this process.

I. Employers
Lets start off with the employers because they are the real proponents that drive this machine. It benefits the employer greatly to require a college degree from a new higher for many reasons.
1. The employer no longer has to cover the high cost of educating their workforce and thus benefits financially. Not so long ago, companies would offer "on the job training" for specific jobs in that industry. Now if a worker wants to get hired for a job, not only do they have to have experience, but they also must have formal education from an accredited university in that field before entering the workforce.
2. Hiring a candidate with high amounts of debt makes the employee subservient to the company in order to pay off the dept. In addition, student loans do not go away like a business loan can when you file for bankruptcy. The IRS will even take money out of your social security check in order to pay off the balance of the loan. This means that the former student has to pay off his debt and is forced to work in order to do so.

II. Universities
It benefits the university to charge more in order to make more money, so they will.
The universities can charge more for tuition for 3 major reasons.
1. Soon, I believe every employer will require a college degree in order to get hired; that means every person has to have higher education in order to survive. Most people do not have enough savings to sustain a lifetime of living and thus they have to work in order to live till the next paycheck.
2. The universities charge more because most if not all universities are charging more. Students have no alternative for legitimized higher education that the employer requires in order to get a job.
3. Since the majority of student loan debt derives from federal government loans with very low interest rates than the ability and temptation for cheap money increases, especially in regards to poor high school students getting ready to leave the comfort and security of their parents. Since money is made from paper, money literally grows on trees. The Federal Reserve can simply print more of it when ever it needs more. The universities know this and take advantage of the money being handed out to students like beads thrown out during a Marti Gras parade.
This brings me to the ring leader of the group, the Federal Reserve and the banking institutions.

III. The Federal Reserve
The Federal Reserve and the banks all benifit from the education scheme.
1. The student loan is a guarantee for profit from the interest because student loans can not default for non payment. This means that years later if the student has not paid off his debt than the government can reach into your social security check and take out the money. What will happen when a whole bunch of elderly die with debt? Who will pick up the tab? The next of kin?
2. The banks facilitate the lending process and gain profit from the interest on the student loans and even hedge for a larger margin with other financial institutions based on the security of the loans. Student loans are the biggest guarantee of return on investment because the students can not file for bankruptcy like a business can. If the universities require more for tuition; the Federal Reserve will gladly print more.

This cartel between the banks, universities and employers has to stop. My solution for this would be to pass legislation prohibiting hiring discrimination based on the education level of the employee. All state licensing and education requirements would still apply, for example real estate license, insurance license, financial advisory, medical license and education requirements etc. Employers would still be allowed to require work experience under this legislation.

If the people do not rise up in time, the institutions who had the biggest meal will have already left the table by the time we realize that, we the people, will be stuck with the bill, once again.

Please share this link with everyone you know. Now is the time to rise up and force change. The only person that will take care of you and your family...is you. We can do this!
Do company growth factors truly determine stock value?

Check out this comparison between Applied Materials, Nasdaq, and the Asian markets.
Well...the Plastation2 era was that for me. I was just too busy to have any down time. Now you might say, wow! The PS2 has been around for over ten years, and you were busy that whole time! I would answer yes. I now have a PS3 and my original PSX, but that time in between I just didnt have time to play the PS2.
Many of the games on the PS2 console cater to the fun aspect of adventure and romance. That sense of innocence was a major reason I wanted to play KHII and get a PS2.
Going off in distant lands, saving the world, and having fun doing it while in the comfort of your own home brings a smile to my heart. Many of the PS3 games have grown with the audience and get too serious and gruesome. I want a good combination of sense of determination and purpose but with light hearted innocence to reflect that I am still playing a game and want to escape the seriousness of my world. The PS2 and KingdomHearts II captures that eloquently.

As a bonus, the PS2 has the largest selection of video games on the market. Even though I have a late entry into the world of PS2, I can now live the moments of adventure and romance with amazing affordability.

What A Feeling!

WOWEEEE!!

Its late in the afternoon I constantly pace back and fourth in my two bedroom apartment thinking of what new phone to buy. Holstered at my side, I look down at my basic call and text cell phone. It has a black cover that held together by strategically place pieces of electrical tape, and I wonder. Why am I so insecure that I feel embarrassed to pull out my phone when I am asked for my number? I make a sprint for the door. I take off like a bat out of hell and drive to the nearest supplier of beloved Smart phone. What should I get? Soo many to choose from where do I start? Price! I pull out my pockets and some small change rolls out along with a small gnat that flies off in buzz of laughter. What can I get with this? Looking in despair I'm hoping he would take my question seriously. He looks at me and says we have many options here at Cricket, but my best recommendation remains in the Huawei Ascend II (M865).
He starts to tell me all the features as I hold the perfectly fitting and gracefully smooth phone in my palm.

BAM! Introducing the new Huawei Ascend II (M865)!
This phone rocks! Cricket has come through once again! The people have spoken and they listen. This phone comprises of a Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 OS and has a 600Mhz processor but runs like it has 800Mhz. The resolution looks great. The M865 phone has a 5MP camera..... that's right, a 5MP camera! It has beautiful 3.5" H-VGA touch-screen technology that seamlessly glides with your finger. Another cool feature that they added was the Google voice Technology, witch when logged into your Google account will allow the user to speak any message and have the program write what he/she says! I was mesmerised and it wasen't the hipmotizing sales speach drool out the side of your mouth feeling, it was the feeling of a future of no more electrical tape covers and embarrasing texting down by my side so no one can see my fractured phone. I felt exhileration and freedom!

In fact I wrote this whole blog just from talking into my new Huawei Ascend II. The new mini computer has a Micro SD slot capable of 32 GB of RAM. The best part of the whole deal comes from the initial feeling of guilt that you only paid 149$ for a fast, beautiful, untouched brand new Smart Phone.
Since Mr. Buffet invested a big chunk of Berkshire Hathaway's money in Wells Fargo I decided to check out the hype. Hype? No Hype here, just home grown consistency. Look at the 5 year chart and you will see a giant dip in 2009 ( just like everybody else) but notice a bounce right back where they were. Its like the horse drawn stage coach decided to take a water break on a fault line during a level 5 earthquake and just dusted themselves off and kept on trotting.
This trend shows a potential outbreak. looking at the past it doesn't seem to want to break out down. The trend as already reached a all time low and its waiting to break out through the resistance.

My other instincts tell me that since companies have a TON of CASH on their balance sheets they want to get rid of it before the future potential tax hikes and want to find a future in infrastructure and energy.

<img border="0" height="320px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0jlgQtZnHGU3nVY0H8A__cdpmajPfnveauiKeu3HgZ7_qN3jF7aEBadXgNIXawWGhHt1V1FmAOQHEoYosG9gdKuzAKdZlWcQT45M1EvkGpcuXT9ZMOechyphenhyphenRmIbVO3feG3i5F2Um2q9BA/s320/adnoc_natural_gas_station.jpg" t$="true" width="295px" />

Electric Cars!
Natural gas power could power a big chunk of the futures electricity supply "Because of the relatively low capital requirements for building natural gas fired combined cycle generation plants, as well as the reduction of emissions that can be earned from using natural gas as opposed to other dirtier hydrocarbons like coal, the EIA expects 57 percent of new electric generation capacity built by 2025 will be natural gas combined-cycle or combustion turbine generation. While natural gas fired electricity generation accounted for 16 percent of all generation in 2002, the EIA predicts it will account for 21 percent of all generation in 2025" thus growing in investment potential. I can see the future of natural gas in powering the electric car market.

This portrays a great example of not giving opportunity. As Malcolm Gladwell portrays in his book Outliers, success does not only rely on work, but great opportunity to display your efforts. The older kids in the group have physically matured earlier, they gain skills faster, get better coaching, thus getting placement on special teams with more resources and further progressing their opportunity for success. The cycle continues.

My predictions were almost spot on.
Starting with AMAT on Jan 12 2011 I predicted ether a crash at 14.50 or a break through for a continuous increase. At that mark of 14.50 that very thing happened, on Jan 14 2011 it reached 14.50 it broke through to close at 15.30. The stock on Jan 28 2011 rests at 16.15. I also mentioned a quick crash so be prepared.
On Jan 12 2011 I told of a slow increase until 22.40 and then a sudden down turn. The stock went down at 21.49 mark. It now rests at 20.9 for Jan 28 2011.
Why can the government tell me that I can use a program, but I cant use that program the way I want to use it? Its like particular parts of the United States government wants you to believe that you have freedom, as long as it doesn't take away money from the corporations that lobby to fund the campaigns of the congress-men in power. A current fight dwells in copyright laws regarding movies and music. The recording industry holds a lot of power in congress. People of the United States can currently use P2P file sharing. P2P file sharing simply connects two computers or more on a server in order to share files and information. People of the U.S. cannot use the P2P to exchange movies or music without permission of the original developer. (On a side note thinking of how long it would take to get a hold of every artist of every file in possesion in order to ask permission would take a lifetime.)
Dartmouth University places it in these categories.

1.Purpose and character of the use (why do you want to use it?).
2.Nature of the copyrighted work (what kind of work is it?).
3.Amount and substantially used (how much do you want to copy?).
4.Effect on the potential market for or value of the work (will your copying contribute to decreasing the value or demand for the work?).

We should be able to use the program as we please. Every artist I talk to just enjoys the fact that people listen to their music or watch their films. Their negotiations differ from case to case but for most big name labels the producer and record label get money from album sales, not the artist. The artist want people to go to the concerts, that's where they get paid. We need to rise up and stand above all the rest and make our mark as the generation that voted each other into office and not money hungry congress representatives that only support big business. Lets vote for the people who represent the peasants. So for now I have to decide on whether to get satellite radio in my car or buy a smart phone and play free Internet radio through my auxiliary port.
Take your left over alcohol and explore or even develop new drinks from what ingredients you have in your fridge. One of my favorite drinks remains the Sidecar. A elegant sophisticated drink developed in France, the sidecar taste tangy like a margarita, but smooth like brandy. This drink pairs well with any bar snack like olives or a nice cheese. A local bar in Houston called Anvil makes great drinks like the Sidecar from old recipes and ingredients.

Sidecar The Sidecar is a cocktail made of

2 ounces cognac
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec

Shake or stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Sometimes, a small extra portion (the "sidecar") is served in a a mini-carafe type glass called a "cocktail carafe" or "cocktail decanter" in addition to the portion served in the cocktail glass. This glass accompanies the cocktail glass and prevents further dilution from the ice in the cocktail shaker. The rim of the glass is sometimes coated in sugar in a manner similar to the salt on a margarita glass.

The Sidecar was originally invented at a bar in Paris for one of the patrons who was fond of arriving driven in a motorcycle sidecar. David A. Embury (The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks, 1948) credits the invention to an American Army captain during World War I "and named after the motorcycle sidecar in which the good captain was driven to and from the little bistro where the drink was born and christened." According to Embury, the original Sidecar had several more ingredients, which were refined away. A Sidecar according to Embury, a connoisseur of cocktails rather than a bartender, is simply a Daiquiri with brandy as its base rather than rum, and with Cointreau as the sweetening agent rather than sugar syrup. He recommends the same proportions (8:2:1) for both, making a much less sweet Sidecar.

It is said that a proper Sidecar should be made with Cognac (at least a VSOP - Very Superior Old Pale) rather than just ordinary brandy. Cognac is technically brandy but it is easier to find a quality Cognac than a quality unflavored brandy. Also, since the Sidecar is a French creation, it is appropriate to use a distinctly French liquor.

1. Cash Only Policy!
If you don't have the money than don't buy it! Its simple! A debt means to owe money. If you don't buy anything with money that you don't have than you wont owe anything to anyone and thus not have debt.
You must pay off student loans first! Go broke for a time, at least you don't have the stress of living in a hole of debt to pay off. Live off your friends couch for a couple years, no one will judge you for not having a bunch of coin right out of college because everyone educated you know will most likely be in the same boat.

2. Never Buy Retail!
Always buy used. Everything you own should have previously lived at someone else's home. From TVs to furniture, CARS, art decor, video games, and even clothes, but not underwear that's just gross. If you have a bucket of bleach and turpentine than have at used undergarments. Go to thrift stores. Many of them have new style clothes. These new thrift stores aren't your grandma's thrift. The Guild Shop , a major thrift in Houston, showcases many fine jewelry, art, modern clothes, and vintage mid century furniture. Every week the prices on the tag slowly drop until the item sells, if the item doesn't sell it goes to charity.
Shop at 99 cent store or your local dollar store. Many items don't get purchased at markets, so the store must get rid of these items to clear the shelf for new products, and for all those unwanted items the dollar stores buy them up and sell for much much cheaper. Many of these stores have things like name brand toothpaste, toilet paper, canned foods, spices, toys, and holiday cards. Some places even have a frozen foods section along with fruits and vegetables.

3. Invest in your Health!
Buy good food! Get plenty of sleep. Exercise often.
Many important things occur when you buy good natural and organic food that you cook yourself. First you save money from going out to eat salty fatty snot nosed chemical concoctions they call food. Second you develop a better understanding of where your food comes from and what it takes in your community for this food to arrive at your food market. This better understanding will develop into a desire for a greater involvement in your community, nation, and world. Eating healthy foods will keep your doctor away, efficiency at work, and your brain sharp for those opportunities to get a raise in payroll.
Getting plenty of sleep keeps you alert and focused for work. When your body rest it can process the tasks of the day and store them. When your body stores this information you no longer worry about the situation and can wake up the next morning ready to tackle the next adventure.
Exercising keeps the mind and body in prime working condition and for this you will take less trips to the doctor and spend less money on medical bills.

4. Save Your Money!
Don't spend your hard earned cash on pointless iPhone applications, and corny but mostly irritating call back ring tones. Don't get all the bells and whistles, and just get what you can live with. Understand what you need for your lifestyle and get rid of what you don't use. The idea of marketing where you spend money in order to save money doesn't make any sense! Don't spend your money, that's how you save it!

Having a cash only policy, not buying retail, investing in your health, and simply saving your bread will push you forward in the right direction to have your financial goals flourish and shine.

I think of all the tasks I have planned for the day, how much time they take and how much travel time I also must calculate. "Man!" "There is just not enough time to get it all done!" I think to myself. How can I go to class, go to work and run errands while getting a workout? I proceed to go about my daily routine not understanding what I could do to give me back my life. I drudge on with my day. I am left with a wonderful experience to look forward to, my work out! I take time out of my day to drive to the gym, find a locker, pay for a towel, and get to pumping. This experience holds value but something isn't complete. The excitement of going to thee gym presents it self but then the fun factor drops and develops into another gruelling task. I then have to shower change clothes and go back to work, taking more time. What can possibly replace this experience? "There must be another way!" I shout internally. I go about my day and return home. Now having completely exhausted myself with planning and driving, I rest my brain with some paper surfing. I look through the Academy sports and outdoors section and Alas, a home gym! Wait, I already pay for a membership why would I need a home gym? How would I fit it in my apartment? Many questions race through my noggin. I continue browsing. I spot something intriguing. "What is this?" I ponder in excitement. A cure to all my ailments? possibly.

The total gym! I have heard about these creatures for years and have even tried one, but never needed one. My mind raced with anticipation. Where could I get one and how much? Could I have it delivered? Many more questions arise. I begin to look online for the source. The price looks hefty for such a simple piece of equipment. I am not sure my budget can handle a onetime purchase of this magnitude. Where could I possible get an item of this prestige with less coin? Yes! My Scottish upbringing aids me in my search. Craigslist! The holy grail for bargains cures my need for a cheaper price. I found a whole sale man who had one for cheap. Meeting the man was easy. He lived around the corner from my place and even helped me put it in the car. Fifty bucks! I couldn't believe it! Bringing it into the apartment with ease, unfolding the machine, and attaching the cables took no time at all. I fell in love. The simple gliding of the rail bench to the challenge of the high incline, all took my breath away. "No more long trips to the gym!" I shouted with glee. I could workout on my own time in my own privacy and not have to waste more time driving around the city just to find a place to park. I no longer have to pay a monthly rate to the money hungry club. I could work up a great sweat, quickly take a shower, and grab a snack all in one gliding movement. This purchase gave me time with my loved ones, money to spend, and a healthy ripped body to enjoy. This apparatus truly prevails as the Total Gym!
The early risers get a head of the traffic. As I drive along the same trench dug path, the commute seems very patterned. Every intersection I arrive at has a red light attached to a long pole strewn across above my head. Why does every crossing of the roads amount to a stop? I ponder on this pattern. Always red always red! Why couldn't I just proceed through the intersection like the ones on the other side of the four way? I remain flustered and confused over the incident. Anger ravages through my body as I get irritated with slow moving traffic! I honk my horn and blair words that must not fall on innocent ears. I soon subdue with calm feelings. I can not control the lights. Why must they torment me? I continued on the path, the same ditch dug rut, along with the other slow moving cows.

I look over at the sign that reads come put your money in this bin and we will give you black dirty liquid to burn. The more money that goes in the more the bin desires. This exchange does not hold credible. My must I keep going back to the bin? I think of my options and no better option comes to mind. I must keep returning to the bin. What causes me to return to this bin so frequently? Yes! The dirty red lights! The underground affair of the road. Red light as its mistress, the bin will always have me return to it, constantly feeding his bottomless void. The affair must me stopped! The light can change but the bin remains the same, ever feeding on the green paper. The red light has been seduced into the intimacy. What must change for the red to turn green? Perhaps the seduction.
Many cities have value that over power that of NY and LA. Houston meets the criteria of Americas best kept secret. Houston has a great location in sub-tropical weather, friendly people, low cost of living, plenty of jobs (unlike its competitors in California), and now Houston has a great energy plan in place! On November 18th NRG Energy a Houston company unveiled its beginning plan to set up 150 charging stations, for electric cars, in and around downtown at various Walgreen's. The company announced that it will spend more than 10 million dollars to build the charging stations, and charge the user a flat fee.

"That's a very attractive market for the electric industry," said NRG chief executive David Crane. For a charging station at home NRG will charge forty nine dollars a month and for seventy nine dollars a month you can get access to more than fifty stations around the city. For eighty nine dollars you can have both home and city access. Electric companies should be pile driving against the oil industry for this movement! General electric does have a division of GE oil and gas, but its main component remains electricity. Electric energy companies should be jumping on even the thought of public interest in changing fuel types. This remains a great step forward in the direction of interest and change of heart for people thinking of the big oil tycoons in Houston.
When a lot of trading goes on and more people trade than patterns arise and consistency happens. The opposite happens when the volume drops. The market works in a self fulfilling prophecy. If everyone believes that when it snows in central park on Christmas day that the market will be down, than everyone will end up closing their positions for anticipation of a gap down, thus selling off and causing a drop in the market. Unemployment figures recently came out and there was good news. Most of the traders didn't buy into it, but because of the self fulfilling prophecy the joe-shmo trader thought now was a good of time as any to get back in the market, propelling it upward, so the active day traders followed in anticipation. We are currently on a down market, but remember that the market always has more room to go up than down. The timing remains impeccable.

I have been watching two stock very closely.
AMAT and CSCO

Starting with AMAT: http://www.nasdaq.com/aspx/dynamic_charting.aspx?selected=AMAT&symbol=AMAT&symbol=CSCO

Amat has had a steady climb upward since Sep, but comes close to an exhausted mark of 14.50. This stock will ether break through for a steady climb upward, or come crashing down very quickly very soon. My 80% guess goes with the greater risk of crashing, since most of the holders are investment banks and not owners of the company who actually care whether it fails or not.

Next CSCO: http://www.nasdaq.com/aspx/dynamic_charting.aspx?selected=CSCO&symbol=AMAT&symbol=CSCO

Csco has been on a steady down trend since Jan of 2010. The recent gaps downward lead me to believe that the trend will happen again. Alas for the moment and short term trading it will continue to rise until 22.40 and then gap down drastically once again. So on the short you can make cash but on the long don't sit on a ticking time bomb.
