We do not need to be and in fact should NOT be in REACTION mode with the weather any more then we should with our life problems.

When news struck of the Earthquake in Haiti, Dreamhealer Adam put out an action alert to visualize rescue vehicles arriving and people hidden by rubble being discovered and thousands of members including myself did so. Not long after the miracles rolled in including my favorite: "Girl pulled from rubble after 15 days!!"

When news struck of Earthquake in Chile, Dreamhealer Adam put out action alert to calm the Tsunami wave headed for Hawaii and thousands of us intended the ocean to easily absorb the energy to reduce the impact. The Tsunami warnings were lifted shortly after.

And now, my colleague and friend Laura is gathering community members in Fargo/Moorhead to "Positive Spin, Subject One: Red River Crest 2010" an experiment in positive thinking PRIOR to the Rivers crest.

This reservation is approximately 3 hours west of me. I've always wanted to visit the historical societies Hidatsan village. North of me and a great deal around is Sioux country as well. If you've been a reader of G.E. for while you will know that Native American culture and history is of great interest to me. For many reasons I will not get into. I believe what goes around comes around and I believe there will be many more stories like the following one including land lawsuits finally seeing the light of day in the court room for justice, land parcels return to proper principality and families rather than into 1/500ths in documents unreadable by design. Justice is of course a big part of the New Earth in many forms. -Namaste!

NEW TOWN, N.D. – An oil boom on American Indian land has brought jobs, millions of dollars and hope to long-impoverished tribal members who have struggled for more than a century on the million-acre Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

In little more than a year, oil companies have put dozens of money-producing rigs on remote rolling prairie and sprawling badlands that are home to small cattle ranches and scattered settlements of modular housing. Although other tribes around the nation have oil interests, industry officials said none has likely experienced a recent windfall of this scale.

The reservation is occupied by the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara tribes, known as the Three Affiliated Tribes, who were placed in west-central North Dakota by the federal government in the 1800s — long before anyone knew of the oil.

"If they knew there was billions of barrels of oil here, they would never have put us here," said Spencer Wilkinson Jr., general manager of the Four Bears Casino on the reservation.

"There is probably more opportunity here than people have had in their lifetimes," said Marcus Levings, chairman of the Three Affiliated Tribes. Roads are now sometimes clogged with traffic, including Hummers and expensive pickup trucks. The local casino is buzzing with free-spending locals. And tribal members who had moved away to find work are now moving back for the abundant good-paying jobs.

Tribal officials say the oil has helped right a wrong done to the tribes in the 1950s, when more than a tenth of the reservation was flooded by the federal government to create Lake Sakakawea, a 180-mile-long reservoir.

Oil companies are now drilling beneath the big lake, using an advanced horizontal drill technique. Recently completed regulatory paperwork removed the last obstacle.

Since the boom began, lease payments of more than $179 million have been paid to the tribe and its members on about half of the reservation land, tribal record show. Millions of dollars more in royalties and tax revenue are also rolling in.

Levings said the tribe will use its money to pay off debt, and bankroll such things as roads, health care and law enforcement.

The reservation contains portions of six counties, covering more than 1,500 square miles. It lies atop a portion the oil-rich Bakken shale formation, which the U.S. Geological Survey estimates holds 4.3 billion barrels of oil that can be recovered using current technology. The agency said the Bakken was the largest oil deposit it has ever assessed.

In addition to the oil money, the tribes get $60 million to $70 million in federal aid annually from the federal government.

"This is an opportunity for us to help ourselves as much as we get help," Levings said. About 4,500 of the approximately 12,000 tribal members live on the reservation, one of about 300 in the United States.

State demographer Richard Rathge said 28 percent of people on the reservation were living in poverty in 2000, the latest figures available. More than 40 percent did not have a job at that time.

The opening of the casino in the 1990s added about 200 jobs. But oil's impact has been huge. "Anybody who wants to work can work," said Levins, with jobs available on rigs and in support industries such as oil supplies and trucking.

The reservation was the last area to be targeted by companies in the state's oil patch because of onerous federal requirements. But a 2008 tax agreement standardized the rules for oil drilling.

Dozens of wells have been drilled and more than 500 could be operating within five years.

Lovina Fox hopes at least one winds up on her land near Mandaree, a town of about 500 on the reservation. Lights from nearby drill rigs and flares burning off excess gas already illuminate her home.

"Everybody knows everybody here," she said. "If people are getting rich they're not saying anything and keeping it hush-hush. But it's not hard to figure out who's getting money — it's the people who have haven't worked in years and all the sudden, they're driving new vehicles."

Tribal member Rose Marie Mandan, who admits to earning "a nice little cushion" from oil payments, said she moved away from the reservation more than 50 years ago to find a job, then returned after retiring. "In the 1950s there were no jobs here," said Mandan, 80. Now she's seeing tribal members moving to the reservation for work.

Chuck Hale worked as a roughneck in other states before returning to his home near New Town to take a good-paying oilfield job. "It's tough work and it's damn cold," Hale said. "But it's worth it."

Mandan worries about the effects of the instant wealth. "It can be good but only if people know how to use the money," she said.

Wilkinson Jr., the casino general manager, said casino revenue jumped from $4.5 million in 2008 to $7.2 million in 2009.

He said he had advised tribal elders "to have fun at the casino but don't spend it all there. I've told them to invest it in something useful, like ... their house and kids and grandkids, and send them to college."

Reflections on Relations

Here in this little blog I have enjoyed writing in my free time over the past few years about where we live, what we are doing, as individuals and as a collective, the food we eat, the miracles that have been uncovered and are about to be discovered. The good and bad of the unfoldment in this Great Emergence. It is a literal day to day account of the "We are the Ones we are waiting for" Hopi Prophecy for the coming world.

And in my annual winter retreat and hibernation, when I read more, become unplugged from both electronics and those I interact often with, I have so far been mostly reflecting upon the prophecies question…“What are your relationships?” It is this that I ponder now as I sift through the place where I now sit. I bask in the sunlight of gratitude of the most magnificent relationships I have co-created, vibrated to, and come home to.

Yes, let’s start there! Oh what I come home to! My home structure is a humble one. It shows evidence of our struggles over two decades. There are screens that need replacing, remants of carpeting where carpet was intended to be laid, walls half painted, appliances missing that need to be replaced. But, we have a sense of humor about it all now. Perhaps God wants us to lower our carbon footprint! It's easy to have a sense of humor with the amount of Love that is inside it’s walls. In my home, I have come home to the one I love for 20 years now. We married young in our early 20’s but we had more than half a decade to explore, adventure, discover together before we brought children in to this world. Of all my relations, this is the one I most treasure and treat delicately still after all these years. Because without him, I’m just a wood pile without a match. What amount of warmth would a cold, wood pile be without a match compared to that of a robust fire on a wintery, snowy morn? That is the difference he has made in my life. Certainly, it has never been easy and has often been downright tragic. We’ve endured so many countless “landmines” and yet there he is, still lieing at my bedside. I'm so grateful that he has always supported me in all my changes, twists and turns on this earth. No matter what I decide to venture into, he is there cheering me on and believing in me. How lucky am I? It still moves me when he gives me reiki healing for a headache, or is tender with our now teenage daughter or sits patiently helping with homework for our nearly teenage son amongst many other ways that illustrate what an amazing father he is. And it still makes my heart aflutter when he runs up to give me a kiss goodbye before heading out the door. Or even when he calls in a free moment at work. Here we are still figuring it out together. There’s something to be said out about sheer courage and stick-to-it-ness of Love that brings forth a deeper spring of the purest water flowing through of acceptance, unconditional love, and real true blue forevermore sacred relationship with your soul mate and best friend. No matter what I’ll be right here next to you. Is as if we sit atop the mountain knowing this now to the deepest parts of our marrow. And that knowing brings forth a peace exilir that gives life a much easier flow to each and everything we encounter on the road ahead. Which leads me to looking upon the faces of our children with amazement. They are a road map of how far we’ve come both in their size and in their nature! I could stare at them for hours. Sometimes,I find I will gaze upon them and they will catch me and say “What?!” and there’s no way for me to put into words all that I am feeling as I relish in their beauty and the idea that our love brought them here to this world. At times, I perhaps wasn’t as delicate as a paper doll with them as I was in the beginning sorting our way through parenthood in our own way as best we could. But I return there now, and bask in their peaceful, joyful manner. As I try to listen more closely to each and every conversation of ponder, of amazement, of struggle, of emotional growth, of frustration, of criticism as they push through the contrast of Life to become the most beautiful people! And I'm still moved by their friendship with each other. Whether we hear them laughing hard in a downstairs bedroom or working out a new, silly duet on the piano that closeness is still thankfully evident. At nearly 14 and 12 it is as if I’m seeing them for the first time as they change before my eyes minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day… here they are. Growing to nearly our size. Loving us still. Laughing along side of us. Becoming their own selves. Healthy, talented if not gifted, silly despite it ALL…how much more grateful could my heart be?

From here we go to family, a loving mother who gives so freely and lovingly of her resources and time it touches me deeply to always ask God and all my team of resources to please bring it back equally times ten to her all for that she gives to us and others! Always asking, what can I help you with? How beautiful is that? Nothing brings her more joy than helping, being here for, and loving her children.
And when in the most frustrating moments, finding the laughter! I so get that from her. I’ve been missing the Daddy who left just a few months ago now, in moments it hits me so strong it’s hard to breathe. Wishing I’d have spent more time with him while he was here but life as a working mother and wife consumed me in his final years. But,I strive for no more crying, just gratitude for the love. For the laughter. For the adventures. For the look in his eye when I’d wrap my pinky finger in his even in adulthood. For the stories. Oh, did he live and have stories! In death we can always find a deeper appreciation for life and this reflection upon my relations really began with his departure. Sister and brothers who are near and who may be so very different from me, yet they are appreciated and loved as part of the quilt of our family… each a unique thread and their families a patch of a very special familial quilt.

And finally, as I ponder my Relationships, I’m most surprised at the turns and transformations my friendships have taken. As a child, friendships were very important to me. If you asked my mother to distinguish me from my siblings it would be this friendship factor. I apparently had a great number of friends and they were important part of my life. At a young age, an undeterminable number of pals helped me to escape, to giggle, and a I guess just to feel free. At mid life, it has come full circle as my friends today do this for me and more! I examined these relationships harder as the Hopi ask early on on this spiritual path and in some ways I guess I let go of my stronghold of my priorities of friendships once I was married and then had children. Friendships fell in at a distant third and even fourth after my career. And it showed. Then when I really needed a friend to lean on when hard times knocked at my door. They weren’t there. It was hard to reflect on such pain as calling a friend that in my heart I felt would always be there, only to discover Life took us both to new and distant shores. Then,I simply took my ball and went home. Too many other new friends came by who I didn’t have the energy or time to invest in. Time and time again, it seemed I was too hesitant and too disappointed to want to go outside to play. And when I did, I didn’t really enjoy the company or the actions or discussions of their company enough to want to continue the effort of venturing out. But then as time passed by and I had time to regroup, a rebirth occurred. I found a few old friends and we picked up as if time hadn’t passed. I met new ones that touched me and saw me more deeply than old ones ever would have. I may not see them often, still the busy mother and wife that I’ve been for so long, but despite that they are more precious to me then I ever imagined. These new friendships are so beautiful! I feel that they were brought in on angels wings and at times because of this they feel often so fragile and delicate. Like a tulip whose bloom can be dashed away so swiftly by a strong spring wind. They have busy lives just as I do. But as I reflect now on my relationships, I feel the gift they have brought to make my life so well rounded, and I know it’s worth the effort to stay in touch with them. To make time for conversations with them. To feel their great hugs and hug them back. Hard. I am so grateful now of all my relations including this treasure box of friends now both old and mostly new. She helped me to cry again. She always makes me laugh. She’s just like me. He told me with his spiritual gifts why the bad stuff happened and it finally made sense enough to let me face it and let go. She encouraged, no PUSHED me through to use my spiritual gifts. She tells me like it is when I need to hear it most. Tough Love.
She tells me she loves me already. And I believe her. They love who I am and do not try to change who I am. They encourage me when I try new things. Even though for some we are just getting started, they still feel they can be the ones that when I’m old gray it will feel as if they’ve always been there and just as if I am there for them, for once and evermore they’re always there when I need them, just like I always dreamed of. The Prophecy says among other things….“Know your garden” “Create your community”. “Be good to each other” “This could be a good time!” “See who is in there with you and Celebrate!” Celebrate indeed. Thank you my dear beloved, my family, and my friends old and so very new. I love you deeply and completely. Namaste.

There is no doubt that there is a massive shift in the world powers coming through. For years now so many of us have seen a hard split, to two worlds, or two realities. It is easy to see how and why this is occuring! One just needs turn on TV to view the fear and impending implosion of the world!

Of course, we've long since been moving toward releasing our fears and just Being at the other calmer, peaceful version and finally that other version is in our collective rear view mirror as we dance & groove fully into it with this New Year into a joy and ease and downtream flow that hasn't been felt for some time.

Just 2 weeks into this beauty, it is also evident in the oil and water effect that occurs when running into others in that other place. It REALLY doesn't match up AT ALL anymore does it? Friends, clients, and associates who are at the other party truly aren't even in the same reality at all anymore and its quickly evident with brief interaction.

Close at home Obama's appearing more and more like a puppet with his hands tied, so much for radical Hope & Change thus far, more war budget put forth, no accountability to the true govenment (Banks), Health Care reform same wolf in new clothing, but hold up....that's not to say I've fallen into a crevice in the other place and can't get up...No, his lack of leadership to the promise land is all part of the greater Purpose. Ironically, he IS serving humanity. As it is all leading toward the Divine purpose of Power to the people and an awakening mass consciousness of not relying on others that which we can do and create ourselves.

Why? Because nothing pushes forth an Emergence to the new reality like a real-true-blue-our-survival-depends-on-it-empowerment my friends.

SO much can be accomplished in these coming years as the people learn they out number those in power. The table is being set so beautifully in 2010's numerology, astrology and collective shifting of consciousness.

And here's the funny part, it's all happening without the main stream media.

I say funny but really it's ironic.

Having spent last 6 or so years as an activist in Media reform (among other things) growing more and more frustrated by the lack of change that people just don't seem to care about as slowly the free press amendment rights are stripped away then resigning and dismissing the reality to just Being without an attatchment to the results, I am now watching the movements afoot on the ground growing and growing despite it all! I realized of course, of course!

WE CAN'T RELY ON THE MEDIA EITHER!

And this includes the internet, the last bastion of Free Press is again on the line with another vote nearing and new hearings at the FCC on whether to pass Net Neutrality protection or let corporations like Comcast become gatekeepers of the Net. The ability to go where you want, when you want, and read blogs such as this one, stands in peril and Obama, once being strongly supportive of Net Neutrality now going soft.

If a protester shouts from an Amazon forest tree, will anyone hear it?

Yes. Yes they will. Because guess what, our relaxing fear free party over here is growing and expanding one by one by our collective Joy and our obliviousness to it all!

And because of course...still, still, the light is always stronger than the dark.

It may slow things up a bit, it may cause delayed reactions but it not only can still be done, it HAS to be done this way!

The protestors of Iran used Twitter to show the world they were uniting against their corrupt Government following their Presidential election last year, but when their Government SHUT DOWN THE INTERNET for an entire region of THEIR COUNTRY guess what? The protests continued and they continue to this day in a quieter more organized and ever more powerful fashion.

Yes, it is becoming more and more evident that people are being led to reclaim their sovereignty with grass roots movements on the ground exploding and uniting and expanding like nothing since the 60's.

All over the world.

And I'll be right here to cover it all.

Power to the People becomes Power to the One.

Organized. Not Chaotic.

And the Power of One shall prevail.

So what do we do over here in the meantime?

Help where you can help, join what makes you happy to join, and by all means....Smile, Hug, Love & Laugh much... it will shine our Light that much brighter in order for those that are waffling or bumbling around to find their way to the obvious and easy choice, to this place of Peace & Prosperity for all.

And then...it REALLY get's amazingly beautiful and different and easy and fun. The only limitation will be same thing it's always been and that's our own imaginations... to Co-create Heaven on Earth.

It feels like any other work day. You drove the same route to work. You ate the same breakfast. Around 11 a.m., you looked longingly out your window imaging yourself swinging in a hammock on a beach. Pretty routine.

But there’s something different about today – about the next four days, actually. Turns out, this is no ordinary week. The FCC has invited your feedback before they rule on Net Neutrality, but the window for commenting is closing on January 14.

You have until Thursday at midnight to tell the Federal Communications Commission how you feel about the Internet. The comments you file with them will help shape the future of the Internet for generations to come. Our responsibility to protect it is a mighty one.

Do you like the Internet as it is — open to everyone to create and find content? Do you like writing blogs, reading alternative media, posting videos, engaging with your communities, connecting with your friends and family? Do you want to see how the Internet keep developing applications and online experiences we’ve never imagined?

Then you have to tell the FCC. The agency is on the on the cusp of creating a final rule that, if done right, will protect Net Neutrality, the principle that safeguards the Internet from corporate control — and allows us to use it like we do.

To me, and it took a while, by months end, years end, decades end...I sighed & finally felt....better.

This last decade was quite a doozy. It's good thing we're still here.

Welcome the New Year with the intent & even command to enjoy it.

Breathing. Smiling. Welcoming the joy that's on it's way.

Humans are so conditioned to "work hard" to get where we are want to go
and get what it is we wish to manifest.

If I can think of anything that the last few months have been trying to recondition me towards changing, it's this.

The recession brought forth a tremendous slow down in the work that I've been enjoying the last 7-8 years in my business as a professional voice. Prior to becoming self employed, I was very busy for over 20 years in my career as a radio
personality/morning show producer. Since the age of 18, I had been working full time with little more than a week or two off for vacations. Upon moving to Milwaukee I remembered getting very antsy at the slow hiring process in a top 25 market,
when I had closer to 4-5 weeks off. GASP! It was just so foreign to me not to work!

And so, in the last year but especially the last few months, I've been trying like the dickens to enjoy myself in the Now, all the while of course exploring all my options at all times. And in short, stop pressing the panic buttons. And believe you me, I had PLENTY of reasons to hit the panic buttons. At least I had made strides...no longer sharing the list of reasons I had for hitting those
panic buttons. Running the household budget, it was often a lonely position to be the only one aware of how dire it got and how fast, but I was determined to keep it to myself & eventually release it all. During previous down times,

I'd easily pick up side part time and temp jobs, all the while juggling my business and busy, active household.

But the recession snapped up those jobs too. Hmmm, Spirit was really forcing me to get this one.

For a mother of two active, athletic children, wife, and daughter of recently widowed Mother however, it was all too easy to just STAY busy.

It's our natural instincts...or so we like to think. So we've been conditioned for eons!

What is truly natural, especially for Pisces like me & water signs, is to be calm and still. To breathe & meditate. To listen to the

Universe as it creates all that you are putting out for in every moment. What is God working on in your life?

What are you concsiously thinking about and therefore working on? As the Advent season approached,

I finally made conscious decision to remain disciplined about doing LESS and actually ENJOY and embrace a much slower pace not just for Advent or the Solstice, but the decade ahead as well.

My favorite quote of the year puts it best: From Esther Hicks/Abraham:

Make a conscious effort on this the first day of a New Year, a new decade, to focus more upon your feelings & your thoughts all day every day over your actions. Let thought be the prevailing captain of the ship.

Take more time to go inward and observe. Sit still and take it all in.

Over my kids' holiday break, on one of my favorite mornings of being still even before the storm approached, my son and I were curled up on the couch discussing the Tao of Pooh. Winnie the Pooh. My husband had had such a discussion with his fellow graduate students and here I was, able to do the same with my wise 11 year old son. I was surprised, and admittedly disappointed when he said I was
most like the anal-retentive, always busy, always wanting to get clean,organized and well, let's face it, crabby and irritated "Rabbit."

"Really?! I said, not just even a little Pooh?!" I chided him. "Yeah, I guess, a little" he patronized me unconvincingly.

Not one to count excessive cleanliness as a strong suit and throwing that in to the mix to persuade his decision making he lovingly made it slightly worse by saying "Well, ya not THAT part!" to which be both ended up chuckling and having a good laugh. After a bit of reflection on Motherhood I'd suffice it to say that most Mothers are "Rabbit" and he agreed.

We tend to caught too caught up in that role which is a slippery slope to Martyrdom or, worse, "Rabbit-dom"

Get playful! Imagine more! Get more in your heart and less in your head.

So.....why aren't you letting it in?

Go ahead take some time with that one too? Be honest. Ask it aloud and listen. Why aren't you letting it in?

Release your hold from the weeds at the bottom of the stream and float to the top and go easy along this year.

You'll in turn go easier on yourself,which is a big lesson for the caregivers these last few years that will continue this year.

However, some have gone too far the other way especially the younger generations toward narcissism, from egotism to selfishness, hubris and everything in between. Two-thirds of over one thousand college students recently surveyed said their generation was more self-promoting and narcissistic than other generations. There needs to be a balance in all things.

Let's put it this way, Love yourself as much as you love others.

When you are easier on yourself you are easier on all those around you. The way you love yourself, affects all aspects of your life deeply, especially in your sexuality and how successful and prosperous you are. It's important. You know what else is important?

Ask. Slow down long enough to Ask and it is given. So get to it and start askin. In any way that FEELs right.

And by all means, learn to allow, allow, allow & let it in..... Let it in!

Where's the Liberty and Justice for All?

A new report says Wall Street is set to post record profits that will exceed the record set three years ago. The four largest firms took in 22.5 billion dollars in profit in September. I imagine the American tax payers bailout helped them along?

What helped the American worker along?

The U.S. Hunger rate continues to grow. The Department of Agriculture estimates 50 million Americans, including a quarter of all children, struggled to get enough to eat last year.

A report from the Mortgage Bankers Association also found that 14 percent of homeowners with a mortgage were either behind on payments or in foreclosure at the end of September. It was a record-high figure for the ninth straight quarter.

In yet another study just out this week, The United States lags far behind other nations in offering paid sick days, paid parental leave and other workplace benefits that proponents consider vital to public health and workers rights, according to research released on Tuesday. To which a friend commented "Perhaps we are more educated and understand that offering more sick days to slackers is unproductive and produces a tremendous drag on the entire economy ...who would be left to do the work, pay the bills and provide the tax base for the slackers? It's those that expect handouts, think the world owes them something and worse, those who actually study and train to draw the maximum benefits from local, state and federal programs that never pay a nickle in taxes because they are not even citizens..."

Really, are we still at zero point evolution on these arguments? So a worker who isn't even paid a living wage to begin with and contracts H1N1 and wants to stay home but can't lose the hours on his check so he slugs on into work infecting other workers is a slacker? Or wait, maybe it's the immigrant worker whom the employer is taking advantage of and paying even less the legal American workers below living wage! My friend is not alone this is the ideology - or some are now arguing delusion-of most Convervatives who on top of that preach about Christian values eroding as well, which one has to wonder what state of cognizant dissonance got them to this awful place of not seeing their own hypocrisy even still after Wall Street's corporate bailout.

It's socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor right?

Okay to save failing businesses that has made enormous amount of bad loans putting an entire global economy at risk but if American worker wants to have guaranteed paid sick time he's a "slacker?" or at least after pressing concludes that there are alot of slackers out there "taking advantage of the system" which actually gave me a good laugh. So... an hourly worker is what fudging his earnings to squeezing out perhaps extra food coupons or his unemployment pays more than any jobs he can find is "using the system" or an immigrant is collecting $5 an hour under the table and costing U.S. HUNDREDS in missed taxes?!!

It boggles the mind that nothing appears to have changed. The health care reform is teetering on the brink of failing even without a public option on the table while the rest of the world stands back at our entrenched duality of the have and have nots in amazement at the extreme lack of compassion and even basic understanding of the have's.

Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America is a book written by Barbara Ehrenreich. Written from the perspective of the undercover journalist, it sets out to investigate the impact of the 1996 welfare reform on the "working poor" in the United States. Written as an exposé, Ehrenreich attempts to combat the "too lazy to work" and "a job will defeat poverty" ideals held by traditionalists. Suggesting problems with the argument, Ehrenreich highlights many of the difficulties people have working jobs that pay low wages.

Foremost, she attacks the notion that low-wage jobs require "unskilled" labor. The author, a journalist with an impressive education, a Ph.D. in cell biology, found manual labor taxing, uninteresting and degrading. She says that the work required incredible feats of stamina, focus, memory, quick thinking, and fast learning. Constant and repeated movement creates a risk of repetitive stress injury, pain must often be worked through to hold a job in a market with constant turnover; and the days are filled with degrading and uninteresting tasks (e.g. toilet-cleaning and shirt-reordering).

She concludes by eloquently disputing the argument that low-wage workers, recipients of government or charitable services like welfare, food, and healthcare, are simply living off the generosity of others. Instead, she suggests, "we" live off their generosity:

When someone works for less pay than she can live on ... she has made a great sacrifice for you ... The "working poor" ... are in fact the major philanthropists of our society. They neglect their own children so that the children of others will be cared for; they live in substandard housing so that other homes will be shiny and perfect; they endure privation so that inflation will be low and stock prices high. To be a member of the working poor is to be an anonymous donor, a nameless benefactor, to everyone. (p. 221)

And that came from doing it her self, living it her self. Is that our only hope for the compassion to make its way to the top of Corporate America or even the middle of Managers who are paranoid about slackers or immigrants hiding out their meager taxes? Do we not stand a chance unless THEY have to pick up a mop and be paid lower than living wage for month or more without health care or basic benefits? Many sadly say, Yes. That's the only way they will not be blind to what is going on and has gone on for a century or more in America.

Well, I tend to be at least somewhat more hopeful then that. Sure, I know that there a better chance of hell freezing over then these corporate businessman volunteering to pick up a mop to better understand the plight so that options out. But as a Christian I know God and Jesus are indeed on the side of the working poor and not just in heaven, but in the here and now. Jesus rejected greed, violence, the glorification of power, the amassing of wealth without social balance, and the personal judging of others, their lifestyles and beliefs.

But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. You will be repaid at the resurrection of the just. [Luke 14:13 &14.]

Feed them even when they can't pay you back. And certainly, pay them the wages they are deserving. It shouldn't be a crime to be wealthy. But wealth and a basic,good quality of life a life that consists of ability to save money, acquire a home, that allows one to stay home when he is sick or be with his or her newborn baby at least for a few weeks (most developed countries believe and offer 3-12 months).

But this argument has continued without change even in fact as the middle class disappears by all accounts. The gap is not thinning the gap is broadening. But with unemployment continuing to climb at 10+% can the current system sustain itself? That depends on the will of all. The will of the employer to continue status quo. Pretty easy when your company is billions in the red and money comes in to save it creating an even greater invincibility.

the will of the worker continuing that status quo however seems less likely. Native American speaker Oren R. Lyons talks about the 7th generation and America's forgotten responsiblity & indigenous Native Americans have seen many prophecy's regarding the demise of America's strength due to continually putting economics over common sense.

More and more unemployed, less and less change in workers compensation or benefits. What will be the breaking point for the hard working American with little left to lose? "I can't pay my home, the bank was bailed out why aren't I?" That mentality is not only occuring but growing, remarkably slow given the billions poured into Wall Street so effortlessly but not to the man losing his home, but growing still. Corporate America should be mindful and cautious in the coming months of its expectations and dependance on the American worker. This tectonic shift that is rumbling toward the ultimate conclusion of an entire hourly work force essentially going on strike if not literally then figuratively as they run out of the ability to keep up with basic consumerism is perhaps the only thing that will save our beloved country and her monstrous duality that is sadly still moving so far away from "liberty and justice for ALL"

Identifying Fear

I encourage you to check out her blog at www.uberreikigirl.blogspot.com Fear is an emotion we are all clearing at this time. And in the end there are only 2 families of emotions: Fear or Love. And we must of course choose Love. It helps to better recognize Fear and it's family of emotions. Here is excellent excerpt on Fear---3 part series---recommended reading from Pam's blog -- Jill

"Health and Well Being: Fear - What It Is & Family Members" by Pam Taylor

Just like the maze in this photo, fear is something located within the very center of who we are. Many people find their way in, and/or out, while the majority don't.

Fear is as an "emotional response to a threat*". And since we also come with an innate ability to avoid danger (fight or flight), and have higher senses (sight, touch, smell, hearing, speech & thought) a threat can also be learned.

Originally "fear" meant the event (calamity/disaster) itself, then eventually came to mean the emotional reaction. This probably came about because of observation of the different way people's natural preparedness kicked in to not only present, but to perceived future events, as well. And interestingly enough, fear is now also described as always relating to a "future" event. In other words, our most innate fear, or fear of the unknown (what's going to happen).

So that's what fear is. It's family members are similar, yet different, (like all families) and they are:

Caution: (father) - the ability to take in all the information and proceed carefully. Distrust is sometimes a brother to caution.

Worry: (mother) - the aspects (mental and/or emotional) of a present or future event.

Dread: (oldest) - to anticipate something with fear. "Murphy's Law", if something's going to happen, it will/is not good.

Anxiety: (middle child) - both a psychological (mental/emotional) and physiological (body) response/reaction to a threat. Usually this is from an undefined threat. Can't put your finger on it, but feel/think something isn't quite right.

Panic: (fraternal twin to anxiety)- an acute (right now/immediate) sudden fear, whether the source of the fear is known or not. Panic is describe as "acute anxiety".

Terror: (grandparents) - sudden & pronounced fear before an event occurs. Many times this is what we "see" right at the beginning of something, and/or know that we may have any immediate control over what's started to happen.

Horror: (grandchildren) - shock, disbelief, & mental/emotional detachment after the event.

Phobia: (youngest) - excessive desire to avoid something. Even if the person knows the source of their fear, since it's something "not them" (as with the child learning what's self & not self), it's to be feared. There may or may not be other imbalances associated with phobias. (See parts 2 & 3.)

Paranoia: (wild child) - excessive, and many times, uncontrollable thought process about the unknown, that results in the belief of some kind of harm happening. Paranoia can happen to any one (and not just those chemically unbalanced) for a variety of reasons. And, unfortunately this include societal programming. (See Parts 2 & 3.)

Paranoia is also difficult to treat, as no matter how good the gene pool, support, and etc., this imbalance can occur anytime (short or long term) to anyone. Fortunately, research into the brain, nervous system, and mapping how the energetic systems of the body work, is providing new insight and ways to treat paranoia.

Fear is a two edged knife, as the saying goes. It can be a motivator to cut through illusion, or harm our selves and/or others. For the majority of us/humans, we have the ability to educate our selves about fear, and then choose how to deal with it.

I recently attended a Festival with music and crafts and energy booths in the park with my daughter. It was a gorgeous Fall afternoon and the sun was shining in all it's glory. However, as it is with Fall in these parts the bees were buzzing all around. My daughter has come a long way of overcoming her fear of them as she had to sit patiently with others watching a live performance with her eyes bulging out as it moved closer to her, we chose to simply move around to a different spot a few times.

We expect to see many bees at this time of year but I don't ever recall seeing as many Spiders as I did that day and since. In addition to our Yellow Lab needing a cortisone shot from a reaction on her eye to a Spider bite last week...and lieing in the shade under a tree with my four legged baby and having a large Daddy-long-leg (am certain this is not official name of this particular arachanid) crawling up my thigh this afternoon I am finally certain Spider medicine is trying to tell me something.

I knew Spider meant creativity in Native medicine but not much more. I was glad I remembered at least that... many animals I do not recall. I always wish I had better memory to recall at the time I see them what they bring to me. But as I lie in the shade with my lab the day after the Festival, it was clear that Spider was trying to tell me something. I looked up and saw a huge Daddy long leg on my thigh and just days earlier saw not just one, two or three but dozens of spiders! So upon seeing this Spider again on my thigh, coupled with feeling stagnant and exhausted by the current energies...I decided it was time to do a little digging.

And how do we get there from here?

Spirit is showing us the old and the new at a crossroads.

In Medicine.

Law.

Finance.

Education.

Government.

God sure has alot of faith in us!

All the pillars of our societies need to be reworked. I'm thinkin we absolutely will need some creativity to break on through the chasm to the other side! I mean think about it- how do you "build" something with no previous template of it's existence?! With no road map. No book or written instructions whatsover. No small feat for all that needs to be re-wired.

I'll tell you how you do it...Creativity! Radical creativity! So don't just sit there feeling heavy and sad about it all. We SHALL overcome but we can't sit by idly hoping the answer will fall from the sky.

Find your place in the shift of the Ages. Think out of the box. Gather with your like minded soul group. Trust that the resources & answers will come on the How of it. Sometimes all we need is the Why to give us the spark we need. And we all by now know the Why. We cannot sustain ourselves any longer in am imbalanced world of greed and immoral toxicity and we know Mother Earth is having trouble inhabiting us as well.

Good energy people

Good energy people seem a little more harder to find these days.

Which perhaps makes me appreciate their goodness all the more.

And which begs the question...Am I a good energy person?

What are these current energies doing to my external behavior?

Am I agitated or frustrated or anxious or short-tempered?

And then that leads me to...What is a good energy person?

Hmmmm, well...instantly more then a few people come to mind, both young and old.

Why?

Well for one they are always smiling alot.

They give hugs.

Great hugs.

They laugh alot and they make me laugh. Hard. Which helps me forget all my troubles not just in my mind in that moment but in my body as well. Everything we think- we feel. Good thought=good feeling. Bad thought=bad feeling.

Another constant with good energy people is that they frequently compliment you. Not a false comparing compliment mind you but sincere, happy "I love your earrings!", "I love you!", "You're a great Mom!" kinda thing.

This leads me to realize upon reflection that....I don't compliment others enough, at least in person, face to face. I could stand to laugh more or be around these lovely people that make me laugh! And most of all, I can never get enough hugs.

WE ARE SWIMMING IN 9s AND 11s

People often attract certain numbers into their lives, and some numbers draw people to them. The problem with the focus this month on 9:9:9 (September 9, 09) is that those are not the only numbers involved. When we abbreviate the year to two digits rather than four, we cannot see the whole picture.

2+0+0+9=11.

So, it’s not 9:9:9 we’ve got here, it’s 9:9:11 which, I believe, has even greater significance than the actual 9:9:9 that occurred on September 9, 2007. (2+0+0+7=9).

This year, the entire month of September is a numerological spectacle which points us in the direction of 2009’s real triple date which is November 11, 2009, or 11:11:11.

11 is the ‘master’ number of inspiration and illumination.

We have not experienced an 11 global year since 1910 and before that in 1901, and much of what took place back then has now evolved into many of the problems we face today, especially as far as banking, government, racism and war are concerned. Both 9 and 11 are principle numbers in the evolvement of humanity, and, as we continue to exit denial and enter reality, increased emotional pressure is bound to be felt this month. Specific events in the world may further trigger this ongoing expansion of human consciousness, but consciousness is expanding and evolving anyway because of the growing desire among individuals for more freedom to fulfill our potential, and just BE who we are.

Awareness is being held back by GUILT, which tells us that we should be doing better than we are. Guilt prevents us from learning what we need to know by telling us that we should already know it. Guilt is the result of judgments that humans have made over time, some of which may be correct, but many are totally wrong. We must therefore learn to untangle ourselves from guilt – not by denying its existence – but by rendering it irrelevant through the acceptance of new understandings.

11 sheds light on things so that we can see and understand reality more clearly. All kinds of truths are being revealed, but it is up to us to notice how we have all been effected over time by the few who believe it is their right – their destiny – to control the planet and everything on it, and by humanity’s willingness to give up our free will to those who seek control.

11’s light is seeking TRUTH. It prevents them from maintaining control by taking away the one thing they need to operate effectively – SECRECY. Current numerology is emphatic about this because the understanding gained from these numbers is that FREE WILL is the next stage of our evolvement.

We talk about free will as if it is something we already have, but we are now realizing that we barely know what it is. Free will is far more than just the power of choice. Free Will is the freedom to feel what you are really feeling without judging the feelings or yourself for feeling them. The WILL, when it is free, is loving in nature and supports the free will of others. The deep feelings, emotions and heightened sensitivity that all human beings are feeling now, whether they admit it or not, are being squeezed to the surface by our individual wills trying to free themselves.

This process is helped by the 2 energy of the 2000s. 2 holds the power of feminine energy, Mothers’ Love, sensitivity, emotions, feelings, intuition, connection, peacefulness, nurturing, balance, equality and partnership. Above all, 2 holds the power of PATIENCE. The freer we are inside, the more easily we can develop these powers. We can then experience 2’s sensitivity as heightened awareness instead of the over-sensitive responses which turn all of the above loving qualities into their opposites. As consciousness starts to accept the vital function of our vast emotional circuitry, awareness expands to new dimensions with all our senses fully open and doing what they are meant to do.

But we cannot reach the peacefulness and balance of 2 until we actually put 1 and 1 together, and that is why 11 is such an important number – and why people are constantly ‘seeing’ 11 in their every day lives – all over the world. 11 is a symbol of both evolvement AND creativity as two parts of the same process: PROGRESSION.

The ever repeating cycles that we travel as we make our way through life, and which are visible through numerology, are taking on a new quality now. They are still turning of course, but they are also spiraling. This is easy to see in numerology, and I imagine that mathematicians and physicists may be seeing this too by way of the “Golden Ratio” and the “Golden Spiral” which practically mirror the numerology involved.

Since September is the 9th month in the calendar, 9/11 are the prominent numbers in September 2009. 9/11 is not just the emergency code for the United States, it is an evolutionary code which, I believe, is tied closely to what is happening in the United States, but also effects the entire world. Things are changing drastically, and very quickly at this stage, as a result of constant, ongoing gradual development. That’s what evolution is.

Note that on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 (9:9:11) President Obama will give a major speech regarding health care – one of the most contentious issues of the times in the US. Note, too, that when his birth name, Barack Hussein Obama, is converted into numbers, they are 911. And, of course, The USA practically owned the numbers 911 after the attacks of 2001. There is nothing to surmise from these facts until after the event, but they are such timely numbers nonetheless. I do support Barack Obama. But I also know that you cannot change the old establishment in the space of 9 months, and much more patience is needed. He is up against those who will do anything to retain their power. He always said it would take everyone’s participation to BE the change we want in this world. (There is a link to “Barack Obama’s Amazing Numbers” at bottom of page)

September 11, 2009 gives us a sequence of 9:11:11 in the USA, and 11:9:11 in the rest of the world). No matter where we happen to live, we are all moving towards 11:11:11 in November which, from what I am able to understand at this point, illuminates 3 vital energies that all living beings are made from – for the purpose of learning how to balance them: they are consciousness, emotion, and physical form.

The imbalance within has created an imbalance without that has made pulling away from the extremes difficult to do. The extremes have always been there, but the light of 11 is making them more visible. This makes them feel more threatened and more likely to lash out in some way.

11+11+11 = 33, which adds up to 6. This is the number of finding balance between the extremes. The extremes cannot be ‘gotten rid of’ because everything in existence has its furthest point, and that’s what the extremes are – the outer edges of consciousness. Fighting with extremes to push them back seldom works because an extreme will go to ANY measure to stay relevant.

Note that the KKK was extremely active back in 1901 and 1910, and that K is the 11th letter of the alphabet. K:K:K=11:11:11. And then remember that human beings are in the process of evolving – towards peace, love, understanding and equality. Of course, some are taking longer than others to get there because they are so TERRIFIED of change. Change would mean they would have to feel things they don’t want to feel, including the true depth of their own hatred. And, sometimes change comes when people are just too tired to carry on trying to preserve what used to be. (Read Numerology & Extremes. There is a link at the end of this article)

We will never find peace, happiness, prosperity or satisfaction in the outer world without first finding those things within. There are people out there who have all the material and financial comfort in the world but still cannot find true contentment. Greed is a relentless hunger, and a sense of entitlement ensures that satisfaction can never be reached.

We are still experiencing the cusp between the 1 energy of the 1000s and the 2 energy of the 2000s. We are simultaneously experiencing the upheaval and confusion that comes from being in a transition that we don’t fully understand, and the hope and inspiration that comes as we start to gain understanding of it.

We are at an evolutionary point at which significant change is occurring all over the world. Barriers that existed between gender, castes, classes, colors and creeds are falling every day because, in the light of truth, we are able to see how futile and childish these prejudices actually are, and that we are ALL in the same evolutionary boat! 2 encourages us to stop pulling ourselves apart, accept differences more easily (diversity IS differences after all), and pull together instead. That may not seem possible right now, but the process has started regardless of how much of it we are currently able to understand.

Therefore, it is to our advantage to slow down – a lot – and take more time to observe, listen, learn, study, feel and sense what is happening, within us and around us, moment by moment. In the 2000s, we cannot just bulldoze our way forward as we often did in the 1000s. We are in very different energy now, and we really must learn as we go, and be respectful of the rights and circumstances of others as we learn. We are expanding our consciousness by feeling and sensing our way along. As a result, thankfully, the feeling of compassion is growing.

9 is the number of endings, 1 is the number of beginnings. 9 signifies the end of an era, 1 signifies the start of a new one. 9 gives, 1 takes. 9 feels, 1 thinks. 9 senses, 1 acts. September in the 9 year can make us feel like we’re being put through ‘the wringer’ as all our feelings and emotions that were never fully expressed push themselves to the surface so that we can finally face them and try to understand and heal them. Just look at all the hatred and anger pouring out just now. 9 is about kindness on the one hand OR cruelty on the other. We have a choice in the way we treat ourselves & others. 1 is about selfishness on the one hand and self-awareness on the other. Again, we have a choice.

This massive gravitational pull away from denial and towards truth, especially the truth of HOW WE FEEL, cannot be stopped because it is happening naturally. It is a force of nature. As human nature evolves, we human beings are finding our place within the broader spectrum – nature itself. It is no longer possible to look at ‘nature’ as something separate from ourselves and still claim to be intelligent.

11 is the illuminating bridge between 1 and 2… between the 1000s and the 2000s – in which we are learning to add 1 and 1 together so that it really does make 2. In other words, we are realizing the extent to which we got things wrong in the past and continue to do so in the present. We are recognizing just how contradictory our personal beliefs can be as we travel from A to B (from alpha to beta) from 1 to 2.

1 is the number of forward movement and speed. 2 is the number of slowness and patience. But just notice how much faster we progress when we are patient enough to notice the details that we often miss while rushing with the 1 energy. Remember that time is a natural occurrence in the physical world and that patience is the acceptance of time. Some people believe that time is just an illusion. I disagree. We travel through time because, on the physical plane, time is what stops everything from happening at once.

The deeper waters we find ourselves in now are giving us more depth and more wideness of scope, in which to stretch and grow and finally BE who we really are, instead of some shallow version of ourselves to which our fear of being judged limited us. Generation after generation, we have been hurtling through time at breakneck speed, but for what purpose? Why the rush? Where are we going? What are we doing? 2 slows us down so that we can see, so that we have time to see, what each moment contains.

2 makes us sensitive, not to make us more easily hurt, but so that we can better SENSE things. And make sense of things. 2 is the number of connection and association. We can use this expanded awareness to “connect the dots” and provide a larger and more detailed picture. But we must be patient and pay great attention to those details.

The fact that more and more people are becoming fascinated by the numbers of our times suggests that we ARE slowing down, we ARE noticing more detail, we ARE expanding our awareness and, in general, becoming more tolerant. 9 is the number of tolerance and expanded awareness.

In order to finally leave the past behind and move on, both individually and as a species, we must understand the basic principle of evolvement which is that we cannot move forward and hold onto the past at the same time. Something has to give. 9 is the number of LETTING GO!

9 is also the number of endings and conclusions. Reaching a conclusion means that we’ve come to believe something. That’s what we’re discovering this month. What we believe, what others believe, and the fact that when we reach a conclusion, it means the case is closed. End of story. There’s no more room for the broadening of horizons or even discussion about possible alternatives. The mind is made up. The mind is SHUT. It is time to recognize our own shallowness within – open our minds further than we have dared open them before – and venture further into the astonishing depth and richness of human potential -which has nothing to do with competing. Nothing to do with being #1. On the contrary. 2 is the number of COOPERATION and, in the 2000s, that is how we will (1) find our way and (2) prosper.

9 takes us back in time so that we can reconnect to energies we detached from in the past, but are actually important parts of who we are. The combination of 9 and 11 opens the subconscious to free these parts, but it is up to YOU to bring them into consciousness. That means that each of us must FACE whatever hurt or frightened us in the past, and determine just how relevant those things are in light of what is happening in our lives today. Unresolved matters of the past must be allowed to surface in the 9 energy where 11 shines light on them and 2 enables you to understand how they have shaped your life to the present day.

The forgiveness that ca arise out of 2, 9 and 11 is astonishing, as is realizing just how much pain, anger, grief and even hatred we’ve been carrying around inside us all these years. Whatever memories surface, don’t cut them off. Memories that arise this month have already left your subconscious. What they need now is for consciousness to ACCEPT them. It’s time to let them in. It’s time to heal from the inside out. It’s time to forgive others and yourself. It’s time to let the pressure of the past GO!

The entire month of September is packed with numerological firsts, and there is not much point in trying to predict their meanings ahead of time. Time gives us the space – the interval – in which to learn from the experience.

The energies of a new month, 9/9/09 and beyond.

Regarding 9/9/09 ---now just mere days away....in an nutshell: It's just a day,
but could be a trigger... like a fault line in a quake we will all feel a bit of a
tremor to an out and out jolt that day and beyond. In a wave up until November 11-
9/9/2009 is actually 9/9/11 if you
add the year completely (2009-2+9 you don't count the 0's of course) and November
11th then is of course 11/11/11.

And I do believe it is more about this period we are entering rather then an obvious
doom or glory on this particular day next week. I don't believe in putting too
much shift dependence on one day. Or even one year. 2012 for example. Time is
as much an illusion as anything else. According to some, it could very well already
be 2012. The mystical year that refers to a Mayan prophecy, which says the Earth
will reach the end of a cycle on Dec. 21, 2012. I don't like the world end. I
prefer beginning. But, of course no beginning can come until we have an end. The
end is accelerating now but I very much feel this mystical date is truly going to
present more of the Beginning and getting there, from A to B, has more to do with
the end. A proverbial end.

What comes after? The creative chaos to make it up as we go, but certainly not to
repeat that which no longer serves us here.

Here's hoping this trigger in a few days makes the going a little easier on us
sensitives right? In last month or so my hubby was in a
car accident but is fine, my brother was in a bad accident where he was
hospitalized and is now still recovering, my Dad being unexpectedly hospitalized and then passed away, and my son sprained his foot. There were plenty of other energetic head scratchers but this is not a pity party. The point is I know YOU have
experienced a similar impact as have those around you. This shift is an equal
opportunity Avenger for everyone, everywhere you look. In a flurry it picks up
what we need to let go of---like the game "pick up stix."

I'm trying to remain neutral but not to the point of complete brain detatchedness
(see Homer Simpson "Duhhhhhh") which is
easier said then done with the bombardment I've had emotionally, physically,
spiritually, financially, you name it it's been a hard shell hit the bunker
energetic artilliary of impressive magnitude. But then when I look at it in it's
totality it isn't just one month, a few, a year,or even several years but 15 and
that review tells me that this is the summing up. Well, that and that I'm extremely
well prepared for what's to come!

This is what causes us to Sigh and ponder or even, Yell-- So, is this what we've been waiting for!?

No. We're stuck this is NOT where we are Divinely intended to be as a ONE but all
is still as it should be!

We can't be agitated, frustrated, impatient, angry....

Nor, did we come here to lie down or say "I quit!"

And we certainly did not come this far to merely say "Whatever"

Assume the next parts the fun part.

As Dr. Seuss put it "Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple."

This is just the storm that swirls about only to leave blue sky and a rainbow.

Now is the time to wait and watch but also intend, affirm, request, require...do not
just be a bystander, this is the Action that is so vital. Awareness or being
awakened without action is like EnLIGHTenment without the LIGHT!
Do not turn into a mummy or a drone but also do not get fixated on one thing and run your engine adrift.

Be open to ALL things at all times.

But be an active part! Be a witness!

What needs to change?

What can I do?

What would make my life happier?

And don't slap old blocks on top of that either! (

Know that all is as it IS

Even if it isn't how it should be a

Nothing is as it was before or ever will be.

So be done with it once and for all.

Discard fear, jealousy, lack, anxiety, sadness, anger, any negativity whatsoever
especially when you see it in your own home, thoughts, or in others.
Stand up to be seen and heard as often as it takes.
Gather together with like minded friends and loved ones and share not compete!
Dream a world as it was intended in Peace.
