1: Difficult people can teach you how to love,
preparing you for Heaven!

You learn to become more patient, more understanding, more persevering.
You have pity for them because you realize that “Hurt people hurt people”

You learn how to be compassionate as God is compassionate.
You learn how to forgive, to remove bitterness from your heart.

2:Difficult people can teach you to protect yourself
and learn to say “No” to abuse.

You learn to love yourself, respect yourself, by no longer allowing abuse.
You learn to be courageous and stand up against bullies.
You learn to give tough love—refusing his abuse again. It may be the most loving thing you can do for a difficult person.
You wizen up, learn tact, and learn how to distance yourself from harmful people.

3:Difficult people can help you
get to know your weaknesses.

Difficult people remind you that you too could be difficult to others.
Difficult people teach you many important lessons in life. By seeing the tragic results of their actions, you’re inspired to do the very opposite of what they do.

4:Difficult people can bring you closer to God.

Difficult people force you to pray a lot. (“Lord, help! I can’t take it anymore!”)

Being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give

One day, when I was a freshman in high school,I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.'

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him... He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.

As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks..' They really should get lives. ' He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!' There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.

As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before.. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.

I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends and He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday! ' He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.. When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem.

He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship.. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great.He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.

He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous! Today was one of those days.. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!' He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.' Thanks,' he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began 'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach....but mostly your friends.... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story.'

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.

'Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable..' I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions.. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way.

The smile is probably the most common symbol of happiness in humans. When looking for really happy people and learning from them, look beyond the smile and you'll see others factors that shape thier generally upbeat lives.

According to the book of W. Gracian, the ability to be happy is inherent in all of us, but some people are happier than others specifically because of thier background and upbringing. A person who grew up in a home where there was a respect, love, laughter and commitment is 99% most likely to amplify those traits as he or she grows up.

Happy people are having a good marriage. Having a sound marriage creates a lifetime of good feelings.

Happy people are also friendly. It's not important how many friends you have but what matters is that you are able to make friends and value them afterwards. The best trip to remember in making friends is taht in looking for the perfect friend, you should first be that kind of friend.

Happy people his desire to desire less. In desiring less, you really gain more our of life.

Happy people has the ability to do something good for others. It's easy to do good but it's more rewarding to do something good even if you may not get what you want in return for doing it and still remain happy about it.

A happy person is one who is in touch with his spirit and can see and apppteaciate the finer things in life apart from tangible materials and wants and needs. It creates a kind of personality that values people for thier worth and potential instead of thier appearance or circumstances.

Happy people are also confident in thier appearance. Isn't s matter of beauty or complexion but rather a healthy positive view of oneself.

Happy people are also driven people. It's great to earn as much as you can but make sure it's only up to a certain point. Many of life's pleasures do have a price tag attached to them but person who does his or her best to epxrience such pleasures should also aim to enjoy life to the fullest.

Happy people have that elusive attribute humanity badly needs: Common Sense. Its a great to be brilliant or intelligent, but its greater to have a balanced mind that knows how to respond, not react to any given situations.

Enjoy life to the fullest! Think right and you'll be happy!

Where can you find Happiness?

People who never experiences the real happiness kept looking where they can find it. They did a lot of things just to make them happy but still happiness is just temporary. Where you really can find happiness?

Some say "we can find happiness right within". Try to recall the places where you've been before or you've seen on tv and news that lots of people who dont have savings in bank, work today for meals tomorrow or eat only once a day, watching only a black & white tv, they dont even know what DVD is, never seen a movie in the theater, living in the small house with the water falling inside when raining, eat chicken once a month because they cant afford to buy chicken, living in the crowded places & etc. Do you think they are happy? according to the survey Yes! many of them they are because they're contented of what they have and accepted of what thier life is. Some people call them "a people with a small dream".

But some disaggree that not all people can find happiness within because lots of people really have anything and they can have anything they want but still unhappy. so where do you think we can find happiness? According to Theodor Fontone "happiness, it seems to me consists of two thigs: first, in being where you belong, and second - and best - in comfortably going through everyday life, that us, having had a good night's sleep and not being hurt by new shoes"

What is the real happiness?

Have you ask yourself what is real happiness? When was the last time i laugh out loud? when was the last time i smile? some also asked "am i happy?" "where can i find a real happiness?" and a lot of questions that even ourselves cant find the answer.

With our economy crisis today you hardly find people with happiness & smile on thier face. Almost were always thinking on how to save for the future and future. Some always scared with thier stability that anytime the company they're working might be closed. Some can't find the job. Some doesnt have enough to satisfy thier needs. Some are worried about thier health & etc. With that reasons we forgot to smile and laugh to stress out from our stressful situation and unload the burden that we always carry.

But what is really a real Happiness? According to the book of William Gracian and William McDougall, a Harvard Psychologist says that there are two kinds of happiness: feel-good and value-based.

Feel Good Happiness is sensation-based pleasure. When we joke around or have sex, we experience fee-good happiness. Since it is ruled by the law of diminishing returns, the kicks get harder to come by. While the Value Based Happiness is a sense that our lives have meaning and fulfill some larger purpose that represents a spiritual source of satisfaction and stemming from out deeper purpose and values. So the source of happiness is from you and its only your choice either to make happy or to be miserable for the rest of your life.

A manager at Wal-Mart was given the task of hiring a personnel for the store.
After sorting through a stack of resumes he found 4 people who were equally qualified -- an American, a Russian, an Australian, and a Filipino.

He decided to call the 4 in and ask them only 1 question. Their answer would determine who among them would get the job. The day came and as the four sat around the conference room table. The manager asked, "What is the fastest thing you know?"

The Russian vigorously replied, "A BLINK! It comes so fast you don't even know it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know."

"That's very good!" replied the manager. "And now you sir?" he asked Dave, the American.

The American Answered, "A THOUGHT... It just pops into your head. There's no warning that it's on the way; it's just there. A thought is the fastest thing I know of."

"Excellent!" said the manager. "The blink of an eye...that's a very popular cliche for speed."

He then turned to George, the Australian who was contemplating on his reply.
"Well, out at my dad's ranch, you step out of the house and on the wall there's a light switch. When you flip that switch, the light in the barn comes way out across the pasture.

"Yep, TURNING ON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of." The manager was very impressed with the third answer and thought he had found his man. "It's hard to beat the speed of light" he said.

Turning to the Filipino (from Philippines of course),the fourth and final man, the manager posed the same question.

Filipino candidly replied,"Ahhh...After hearing the 3 previous answers, it's obvious to me sir that the fastest thing i know is Diarrhea."

"WHAT!?" said the manager who was stunned by the response while the others were giggling in their seats...A Filipino Applies for a Job at Wal-Mart...

"oh, i can explain sir" Said Filipino. "you see the other day, my stomach was feeling so bad, so i ran so fast to the bathroom but before i could THINK, BLINK or TURN ON THE LIGHTS, I had already "smile" in my pants!"

SO WHO DO YOU THINK THE MOST QUALIFIED? COMMENT PLSSSSSSSSS

We need a place to reduce the pressures of life. God has provided a way to "Spiritually Decompress". A personal devotional time can be a place where burdens are lifted (Mark 1:35-39). There we can cast all our care upon him (1 PETER 5:7). By focusing on God's sufficiency we can experience His Peace (ISAIAH 26:3)

God is good all the time!
