HGUC RGM-96X Jesta Overview

Yeah, this was just an overview for my entry for Jesta GB organised by MVPfigures. What made this grunt unit become my choice was it has awesome design. It shares the characteristic with RGM-79N custom in terms of head design (especially it's face) and number of known pilots who pilot it ( both MS pilots are trios but GM custom and Jesta was not piloted by the same pilot). So let we see my scheme for this grunts

What I've done here was just do a minor custom colour scheme since I worried that too much painting will cause the paint tear and made me in frustration. But I think I may change the colour scheme again or stick with this scheme only but it depends. I will use Anchor spray paint Honda gray for this scheme.

HGUC MS-07B Gouf Review

I would like to do a review for this guy, so stay tuned.....

MS quick bios:
This MS was another step of improvement from MS-06 Zak II in terms of performance and armaments. The pilot who made this machine become famous was ace pilot Ramba Ral. This MS also become nasty menace to the White Base (WB) crew especially Amuro ray itself. This MS also nearly destroy Gundam in episode 24 Gundam 0079. Though this MS was superior, but this MS was only intended for land battle not for both land and space like zaku II.

Weapons:

Heat Saber - most early Zeon's MS melee weapon using heat type weapon since the introduction for Gundam's beam saber technology was still fresh. The Zeon only use beam weapon technology upon introduction of MS-14 Gelgoog

75mm Five-Chambered machine gun - This was the unique built-in weapon for Type B's gouf left hand. I didn't really much know how powerful this weapon but I believe this weapon are more powerful than Vulcan that Gundam has.

Heat Rod - Gouf's signature weapon. Can be used to shock or melt any MS's armor. This weapon also nearly destroyed Amuro's Gundam in episode 24.

MMP-78 Machine Gun - Optional hand armaments for Gouf. The design slightly differ than Zaku IIs machine gun.Unfortunately. for this early HGUC version, the sensor and 2nd handle unable to move freely.

Instead the weapons stated above, Gouf still can use any Zaku's or any early Zeon's MS.

Articulation:

Since the fact that this MS was an early HGUC model, the movement of this MS especially on the legs was limited unless you pull the middle joint section of both legs for better movement range.

Actions: Enjoy!

Pros and cons:

Pro(s) -Pretty basic MS and easy to snap-fit
-Cheap (about 11.42 USD)

Con(s) -pretty basic articulation compared to nowadays HGs
-Lotsa seamlines
-the joint between hip and lower part of leg easily fall but can be fixed with superglue etc

Conclusion:

For those who familiarize with gunpla as a hobby, you can try get this kit since it was cheap and easy to build. For those who love to collect HG lineup, this kit offers a variety of armaments and if you want to test your skills min removing seamlines etc, this kit was a good subject for you to challenge your skills.

Project C.W.S Overview

The project C.W.S was a project under Earth Federation (EF) Force.This project intended as testbed for production of the next GM variation MS. The project deployment was begin shortly after OYW ends. Using the overall-customized GM and learning computer system of salvaged Core Fighter of Gundam, Amuro Ray has assigned to become the pilot for this suit. This GM has been customized in terms of armor type (where original GM that use titanum alloy as its armor has been replaced with Luna-titanium armor for better protection) , refitted with already-existed and experimental weaponry, improved performance far better than original Gundam itself and other special features that will be covered later.
What advantages of this MS have compared to normal GM was most Zeon remnants will be tricked since they expect that this suit was weak in terms of armor due to the fact that GMs used titanium alloy that weaker than Luna-titanium that Gundam used. Second, this suit react quicker to Amuro's reflexes compared to original gundam since using improved joint motor instead applying magnetic coating to joint too. Lastly, this suit concept become predecessor of next GMs model such as GMIII and GM Sniper.

To those who questioning why this blog wasn't update lately, I really APOLOGIZE for my fault because lately I'm really,really busy with my final year electronic project instead tons of project listed below:

1. Entrepreneurship business plan: This was the toughest project to me due I haven't any foundation on this as a electrical/electronic student. The fact was all program must take this course. Orz.... need to go outing for research etc.

2.Electronic design project course: Through this courses, we learnt how to design a circuit board (Printed Circuit Board aka PCB) from computer to final hardware. Through this course also, we needed to complete 2 PCB project that was simple power supply and simple amplifier.

3.Invention competition: Due to the fact that I've become representative for my university in invention competition last year, my lecturer request me to enter it again. So, I needed to finish this unnamed project before September.

I may believe most of readers will label what I'm writing above as an excuse not for making post, but I trying to do it if could. If couldn't please apologize me again because I'm human, not enhanced human like newtypes etc. I will mark my word that I will try the best. There was the loots I got recently:

Recently, most of gunplayers turned their interest on this kits due to their cool design and feature-added compared to badai HGUC Hi-Nu itself. I also not excluded to get this one. Priced RM118 at HKT.

GN Sword 4 review

Long time no see... since I have lotsa work during this holiday...orz and finally managed to review this guy

Thanks to Eva-san to mail this in very secured condition. Actually this not from Dengeki hobby mags, it's a resin kit with clear piece no color...orz...need to paint later....

actually I've done 2X painting on the white parts...1st attempt was totally phail due to my bad hand painting and the paint was too thick. The 2nd and last attempt, using motorcycle spray paint and the paint doesn't peeled off easily due to I wipe the surface of plastic using petrol (PETROL!? yeah since it does a good job on cleaning)

GN SOWRD IV FORMATION

NEW GN SWORD IV FORMATION (BY ME)

GN Mega Beam Rifle. The output power of this rifle can be compared with Seravee Cannon.

GN Bow. Used to shoot enemy quickly at long ranges.

GN Crossbow. Shoot enemies at medium ranges with higher damage.

GN Tri-Blade Sword: Sharp Mode. To quick-slash enemy at close ranges.

GN Tri-Blade Sword: Wide Mode. To slash great number of enemies that surround you.

Another lame thing of this sword was i'ts color wasn't same with 00Q primary color....i'ts color exactly same with Brave that used by Graham Aker. Anyway, I would like to thank Eva-san because selling me this kit =) .

I planned to create a GB which consist of this rules:

1)Salvage your old gunpla.
2)Customize it in terms of colour scheme OR adding functionality on it.
3)weathering, recolor it using same colour scheme will not considered as customization.
4)Open for all gunpla builders (or I call it Gunplayers) around the globe.
5)no time limitation....open FOREVER...

And also I planned to invite GaiGun,GG and other fellow comrades (later will be revealed) as commentator. My intention to create it was I want to see the Gunplayers talent by showing their skills on the gunpla customaization. That's all for it. Ja ne~~

HG Gundam EZ8 review

Oh yeah, it's time to review this guy.....

The price of this guy at HLJ was JPY 800. Long time ago when I read the local hobby magazine this guys was priced RM 44.90. Many years later, I saw this guy again at local shop at same price stated at magazine that I read before. Okay, enough blah,blah,blah, and let's go to the review.

MANUAL

ARTICULATION

Since this kit was released at 1998, I would say that the articulation was not satisfy the nowadays HG although this kit was graded with HG.

ARMAMENTS

A beam rifle. Actually I wanna paint the white parts of rifle but suddenly my hand painting was too thick, so I scrape it off >.< .

Beam saber......was a white stick >.<

The shield. it has a mechanism that we never see in nowadys HG. Consisiting the gray parts at the arm and the shield itself. but since the arms don't contains the inner polycap to hold the gray parts, it's always keep loose. So I used superglue trick to tighten it.

The typical mode for holding the shield.

defend mode where we need to spin the gray parts to the front.

The hands actually was not ball-type plug. It use stick plug but it was pretty rare to seen other models to use this type of socket.

BACKPACK

This guy's backpack can be loaded with various equipment like we seen on it's anime.

To add equipments, just pull this piece from backpack.....

.....and just add with this pack. My first impression: "what this backpack used for?", until I've seen Episode 9 of 08th MS team....

Actually this back pack was like a landing gear which consist of two pats: this picture shows the first part that is parachute.

if almost reach the land, the second part which acts like booster will slow down the fall so that MS will not crash landing.

Looks like only 2nd part left from here.

DETAILS/EXTRAS/OTHERS

This guy have cockpit open gimmick and it's chest can be open to reveal the details inside. The details need to be painted.

Fist time I bought this kit, the sign "81" at the chest was a decal, but actually it was a panel line. So, I just line it with re marker instead decalling ;) .

Don't forget that it's pilot, Shiro Amada was included like RG model lineup.

The knee part is movable while the white part on the feet was a really white parts like most nowadays HG's. Impressive.

Provided also with decals.

ACTIONS

Sorry for the lack of actions since this guy's articulation wasn't made me to do much actions >.<

PROS AND CONS

PROS

-Have cockpit opening and chest details.

-Comes with Shiro Amada's figure.

-Comes with landing back pack.

-good price: JPY 800.

CONS

-Old kits, the articulation was lame.

-Seamlines was a KILL . Lotsa cementing jobs needed.

-The shield socket always loose and need to use superglue trick.

If u a fan of 08th MS Team, you should include this in your collection. I buy this kit because the head design was out of typical Gundam's head design instead the other cool factor. See you again until next time ;) .

HGUC Gundam MKII + bonus + others

My first words of all, I would like to apologize for all of you since lack of post recently. Too much assignment on stack and Final Exams near. Then as we know, Japan was 'attacked' with great quakes and tsunami. Really horrible and terrible but I only can pray for their wellness at here. Lets we get through to the Review of MKII + flying armor.And sorry for bad quality of pictures due to I take it without the aid of adequate of lights.

Let me Explain what are the Flying armor is. The flying armor is a machine where it was build based on Z Gundam wave rider (or simply WR ) and intended for atmospheric re-entry.

Gundam MKII doing atmospheric re-entry as seen in ZG (Zeta Gundam) episode 11.

Since the MKII and most other MS(excluding the MS that able to re-entry safely like rx-78-2 Gundam and Z Gundam) are unable to do self atmospheric re-entry, they need something like ballute system to perform it safely. And the MKII was given with Flying armor for the mission on earth. If NOT:

Hyaku Shiki falling to the earth as seen on ZG ep 35

This what will happen if no ballute system. this red was not the skin rashes but it was logically happen where when object from space falling from space to earth, causes the object to collide with air causing friction. The object may burn into crisp like small meteorite.

Don't worry. The Quattro (aka Char Aznable) saved by Kamille.

Let's take a look to the Flying armor. This this was really huge, huge than the HGUC G-armor. For the pics, see here .

There's a tab to open the hole for stand.

The stand. Not compatible to other kits :P .

The tab can be kept under the stand. Nice and neat :D.

On the stand, there are slots to adjust the steepness of stand.

You can place the shield at the flying armor.

Before put the MKII on the flying armor, bend the foot as shown on figure below.

Then place both feet at feet slot.

And place your hands at hand slot.

The Gundam MKII+Flying Armor completed.

Refer to Dalong. If you adjust the hand and foot into slot in correct manner, it will not fall down easily even on one hands handling rifle shown.

Changes on the MKII titans and AEUG are noted by its colour scheme. For this version, the backpack's saber rack can be pulled on back due to the usage of mesh pipe at saber rack.

Another action spams was happened at ZG ep 49...

In this episode, MKII was damaged due to the being attacked by Hamrabi. Later, the MKII reaired in rush and the left hand replaced with shield due to total damge. Then, it return to battlefield and fought with Palace Athene. Amazingly, The MKII doesn't blowed due to the Palace Athene's destruction. But later, its pilot, Emma Sheen KIA being hit by MS's fraction.

Actually MKII can do it too :D.

In ZG episode 5, After all 3 Gundams being stolen by AEUG, Franklin Bidan(Kamille's father and Titans engineer) stole the AEUG's red Rick Dias(belongs to Quatrro aka Red Comet). The stolen Rick Dias was destroyed along with Fraklin Bidan KIA. After this part, This what I added by myself. The AEUG Enginner decided to use another MKII and painted it with red scheme for Quattro's use. But later, this project was abandoned due to introductionof Hyaku Shiki.

My other MKII(actually Extra finish version, the silver was faded due to the time) was painted in red scheme.

Action.

With Other MKIIs.

Well, I can conclude that This kits was really great since having Flying Armor with price of RM80++.Instead there a lot of panel lines on the flying armor that made it cool. Articulation are exactly same with MKII Titans except color scheme changes and mesh pipe usage for this version.

I would likely to apologize to all of you because lack of post(s) recently since I'm facing with many exams in this 2 weeks, and for those who always commenting on what I wrote, I apologize once again to you since I've no time to reply on your comment. IMHO, I'll will try to reply on each on your comments ASAP since I'm caring of what readers commented about. My policy was reply ALL of my comments because it may contained questions and ideas behind it. And then IMHO (sorry if I hurt the feelings of some blogwriters but I must "shout" it), when I commenting on certain post in any blogs, I've felt really dissapointed when those comments leave unreplied. This was a basic thing you must do as blogger so that the readers feel your blog "alive" and they will come again to read your post in future. This may also will increase the rating of reader's visiting your blog daily. I would like to thank those who reply each my comments and I really appreciate your concern. Yeah, MG 00Raiser will be released soon. I wondering if they given with LED's for its Twin Drive (like its NG 1/100). If not, you should get it yourself at nearest electronic shop. Don't forget to bring the casing(the GN drive I mean) since the LED are vary in its size. each LED cost you around RM 1 each, so if you see it at your nearest hobby shop sells LED with the price over than that, so, WHY NEED TO PAY MUCH since you can get the same thing at same price? I need to stop until here since I need to do revision on my next exam, ELETRICAL MACHINE.

HGUC rx-78-2 Gundam mods: Let's Implementing core block systems (Part Finale: leg and little review)

First of all, I like to apologize for my hiatus about 2 weeks, since I felt really stressful (maybe of the 'return' of my university day XP) .Here are my final part for my modding of core block system on the HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam.

I've cut the connector and add polycaps to inner part of hip(the gray part that connects skirt and legs) and the connector stick that have been cut are removable. Since unavailability of pla plates on my area, I use the remainder of used parts for cover the upper hip area,......

......the part (see at picture above ) is C1. I only cut and take the plate with the hole only.

This are the finished 'guy'.

I estimated that there are incerase on height of this model approximately about 1mm to 5mm, may due to the pla plates and polycaps at modded core block. Also you can see only at rear part that core b lock cannot fit 100% , but actually it' fit when you saw it from front :P.

This what this HGUC and HGUC GM suffers. the beam saber cannot stay on beam saber rack like what haapened to my HGUC G3 Gundam XP . To prevent this, I drill the hole at the beam saber rack and add a needle pin so this couldn't happen later.

Kneeling pose are 'resonable' too :) .

The movable shoulder joint are removed due to the mod but it both hand are still able to hold the beam rifle toghether :D .

the waist armor can turn 360 degree after modding :D

I wanna to said that this was quite successful attempt by me to mod the inner core block by myself. How about yours? Try it by yourself now and tell me the result .

HGUC Gundam MKII (Titans version)

Okay let's we review the HGUC Gundam MKII Titans version

Basic joint articulation except....

.....the shoulder armor are movable which enable the arm to move upwards. If vulcan pod attached to the head, it will limit its movement.

Actually the front skirt will move both if moved, so I do the mods on it so both skirt can move independently. Click here . Look at upper right (which have "CHECK" area).

When you pen the cockpit, It revealed some detail at cockpit. I Think this are the rare features that have on certain HGs lineup.

Before you wanna buy this HG, you must consider this: This HG have many visible seamlines as shown by arrows on picture. Unless you use cement to remove it, this model will look cool.

This was the standard weapon and equipment for MKII. Beam rifle, beam saber, Hyper bazooka and Vulcan pod system due to the fact that MKII doesn't have built-in vulcan at its head. And there are no pink part of beam saber, they give a beam saber stick(sigh, forgot to put here :p ) but the beam saber have hole to put the pink part, so don't worry.

The cool feature of the shield, can be moved upwards.

Don't forget, This guy also have water slide decal ranging from 01 to 03. The unit 1 assigned to Emma Shin, unit 02 maybe used for AEUG custom colors and unit 03 piloted by Kamille Bidan for sure ^^ . Not applying it since don't have any lacquer paint :p .

I quite satisfied with this kit since this kit are really good in design and some cool features that I mention before, unless u are willing to deal with the visible seamlines though this kit are from 2002 version ^^ .

Got: 1/144 Turn A Gundam

Yeah....raining, raining and raining at my place . Almost everyday raining during evening time. And my newly-discovered shop, Hayasa only opens during afternoon. But today, I can reach to that shop due to no raining today. I just bought 1/144 turn A gundam, a gundam with mustache (or mostly called beard) . Why I bought this? I like the design where its design was out of typical gundam design, instead the multipurpose usage (If you watch Turn A Gundam, U can see the part where Loran used his turn A's hand as washing machine,somewhere in episode 13-16). Enough bla-bla, lets look at the contents of the box.

Priced around RM40 after 20% less got it for RM 30

and this is the Whitebeard's himself. The white, long mustache made me obvious since it was look like Turn A mustache lol.

HGUC rx-78-2 Gundam mods: Let's Implementing core block systems (Part 2: torso)

Okay, today we do the mods at torso parts.

This is the joint shoulder which is movable. We need to remove the inner part (shown on picture) since we want to fit the core block into the torso.

For torso parts, we need to remove the male and female connector.

A closer look.

You need to file the circled part so core block can be inserted firmly

Remember, the back part of torso must be refined.

Long time ago, learn from ZD how to reuse the the number plate at runner as pla-plate. this will be used to hold the shoulder joint.

This how the both plates assembled.

Yeah... Polycaps k (used as neck joint), you need to cut the lower portion. Don't worry, you still can assemble it because there extra hold at the neck of rx-78 torso. U will know if u have HGUc Rx-78-2

Since the male and female connector are removed, I use clip to hold the torso before the glue dried.

HGUC rx-78-2 Gundam mods: Let's Implementing core block systems (Part1: core fighter)

Core Change! Docking Go!

Well I like to make a complaint from myself (before RG gundam released): Why HGUC rx-78-2 gundam didn't have core block system but its former HG 1991 version have it? Pretty strange. But this question I abandoned until today. I still doubt this 2001 released HGUC don't have core block like its 1991 predecessor until the latest RG gundam released recently. Googling around web doesn't fount any WIP's how to mod this HGUC until I try-and-error for myself. For this part, I concentrate on how to turn the core fighter into core block.

The first thing you gonna do is cut and trim the blue part of core fighter withe line shown.

file it, slide it into hollow where you cut it and apply glue for permanent solution.

Next, you got to cut the wings of core fighter . Just take the end of the wings. Cut according to the line shown.

this was 80% completed core block. U must file the back of blue part so it fill the lower part like photos below:

You need to file the back blue part of core fighter until the end point of core fighter blue part reach end of thruster of red part of core fighter.

U need a Polycaps to put below core fighter because this will become the waist joint later.

Using Epoxy Glue A and B, it will strengten the bond of Polycap and plastic since Superglue unable to make such strong bond between rubberized Polycaps and plastic (or you can use hot glue gun as second alternative).

Sanding the lower part of core fighter like hell and it fits nice and snugly.Note the upper blue part of core fighter has been filed also like hell .

Actually I entered Rx-78 GB that conducted by Rock Lee Lotus blog. I include my two HG Rx-78, that is my HG G30th Real type colours and HGUC Rx-78-2 Gundams with my succesfully implemented core block system inside its torso. Well, since I tried googling through web and cannot find how to mod HGUC rx-78-2 torso so it able to perform core block system, I decided to experimenting itself and it was a really a success. To know more about RX-78 Group build, click here . It was a damn thing that I forgot to bring my USB cable to upload my pics to web XP.

TT Hongli HG Trojan's Astray Green frame + Custom

Because the function of this guy was TOO basic, so I decided to add striker pack system on this guy by using

salvaged Akatsuki gundam's torso.

Cut the excessive edges using nipper.

Remove backpack and apply some hot glue

since the backpack removed, the beam saber hilt also been affected. So, I decided to put the beam saber at its leg.

FINISH!

Now, this guy can use ant striker pack include Impulse's pack. YAY!

First of all, I would like to apologize all of you because of my long hiatus. It was because I need to concentrate on my exam or I will be KIA in exam hall during exam XP. Other thing is, do you know the reality TV show titled "Idea Malaysian Inventors challenge" aired on TV3 Malaysia every Saturday 7pm? I was one of the 24 finalist who participated in and my invention was StunFa or more likely to be called Stun tonfa. Here is my pics:

Semi-final competition day. We demonstrate to guards ho to use this thing properly.

The most appeal thing for me is this invention(more likely to be called game) is Tapacast. To play this, we need to balance the weigh metal on the hole. Easy but needs patience.

The most sweet thing is The former(4th) Malaysia Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad visited our booth. Felt really awkward since this is the first time I've meet him.

First of all, I wanna to make apologize due to lack of post lately because I need to concentrate to my final exams which will start next month. My calculus subject ( urrgh....the toughest subject that I've ever meet) need more reinforcement because its soooooo hard XP. Other thing was I bought TT Trojan's Astray Green Frame at ET Model shop and I planned to add striker pack system at its backpack(where It may able to add strike gundam's pack). Then, yesterday I felt really worried without any reasons. Until my mom calling me that my himalayan cat, Kimi found dead. The saddest thing was she wait my family at door until her death invited her. It was really a loss for me but I let her go .

Well, the Gundam 00 was on cinema since yesterday. I bet most of you may wanna know the information about it. I found its review from Any Hollywood site. the interesting thing is Dynames Gundam was appeared in this movie. Also, the 00 Raiser firstly appeared in this movie before Qan [T] and Qan[T] have another usage instead as MS role. according to this site, second form of Raphael Gundam are called Seravee by Tieria Erde. Okay, lets we get through its arms..

Super joint Extension joint like MG( look at hand mark, that is joint)

After done with armor plating, lets we see its movable palm.

Yeah, there was a joint at thumb.

also at forefinger.

This is the joint at its finger, overall.

At palm, 3 ball joints was identified.

This was a reall WTF-ed moment. Accidentally popped out its palm ball joint TT_TT . But I fixed it with superglue later.

At this rate, I like this sticker because it looks like real metal .

So far, it can extend although after outer armor applied.

Completed+ decals+ coat with ~~thinner~~ lacquer.

My G30th was given treatment through its colour. It now becomes G30th ver. RX-78-1.

Wooh........... my exam for calculus was over and and raya holiday will start tuesday next week. Instead, I've bought HGUC REZEL and TT Hongli Cherudim Gundam. For RG, its palm joint pops up due to playing it roughly T_T but I fixed it using superglue. If have time, I will post it next week. And raya aka Eid ul Fitri also next Friday. Oh, today is 1st of September. So, it's not too late to said this to malaysian: Happy 53th Independence Day to all Malaysians

RG Gundam WIP 1

The first that I want to see firdt when opening its box is its B frame. Its material I can say that like polycaps material. Even we don't cut it from B-frame, its joint can move. Thats fantastic.

Look at Amuro figures, its small. I wondering how it can be painted like on manual provided.

Done with core fighter. It looks so small. The interesting thing is its cockpit hatch can be opened instead can be transformed into core block.

Comparing with HGUC G3's core fighter. G3 core fighter beat RG core fighter in terms of size.

Also the same situation happens here when it compared with HGUC ZZ's neo core fighter.

Its almostly identical in its size when compared with HG Impulse's core splendor.

Even the feet parts have so many small parts to be combined into one piece. That was like the MG feeling >_<

Yeah..... damn Great! its armor moves when its joint moves. Same like MG. Great!
