I am so late jumping on this bandwagon, but I am officially on board. All of my internet Hairnistas have been raving about Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Balance Moisturizing Conditioner - Cruelty Free, and it has always been on my list to try, but I've never gotten around to it until recently. Considering how often I'm in Trader Joe's I can't imagine why it was just last week that I picked it up. Well it was the best $2.99 (in store price) I've ever spent! From the moment I put in on my hair it was heaven. I was able to detangle with ease and my hair didn't have that "coated" feeling that some conditioner leave you with. If you're a regular co-washer like me or have totally gone "no-poo" add this condish to your arsenal. I recommend it for all hair types and textures...and for those of you rocking hair extensions as well.

Red Carpet Watch: Serena Williams

She isn't letting her recovery stop her "fashions." Luv it!

Sleek and simple...her best yet.

Can you say "UPGRADE?!" Thank you to whomever pulled Serena to the side and finally got her on the right page. I know she is a Hairnista that loves her brown and blonde tones, but I love, love the dark hair on her. She looks wonderful on the red carpet of the opening of the Louis Vuitton Santa Monica store.

Want this look? Well I'm going to say that I'm pretty sure this is a sew-in with the "go-to" hair for Black Hollywood (and me lol), Virgin Indian Hair in Natural Wave. You can recreate this look with 8 ounces of the wavy hair...4oz of 16" and 4oz of 18". Getting two different lengths are great because they give you a naturally layered look without having to cut too much of the hair when styling.

If you don't want the commitment of a sew-in you can also re-create this look with clip-ins. A 7pc set in 18" will recreate this look flawlessly.

I'm wet-bunning for the next week or so, but I can't wait to get my hair flat-ironed so that I can pop in my clip-ins and rock this fab look. Well done Serena!

What a weekend! Weaves, wigs, and all the flat irons a girl could want :) The Bronner Brother's August hair show did not disappoint. Your fave Hairnista had the pleasure of representing Creme of Nature's new Argan Oil line at the show this year. My day started very early in hair and makeup. The glam squad CON pulled together for us was stellar. Nate' from Salon It was the first time that the public was able to see all of the new products...and the crowd couldn't get enough. Women (and men) couldn't wait to get their hands on the samples of the Gloss and Shine Mist and the Polisher. One always immediately thinks of women for these products, but there was a good response from barbers and men with locs that were looking for a moisturizing product that didn't smell too "girly."

My fellow models Dawn Montgomery and Spring Cordoba are also part of the campaign and were an absolute joy to work with. Beautiful girls inside and out! Our glam squad for the day was Nate' Robinson on hair, Joe Stuckey and Regina on wardrobe, and Toni Acey "aced" our faces. All in all it was a great experience and a privilege to represent a great brand with equally wonderful people.

I must say that I like this softer look for Lady Gaga. You can't always be rough edges and machine guns :) Once again utilizing an amazing wig (a lacefront I presume), Gaga's locks are a super silver hue...accented by an amazing nail color. With the pared down look she sported in the "Alejandro" video, is this the new kinder gentler Gaga? I guess only time will tell.

It's been killing me to keep this under wraps but I'm so happy to be able to share with you what's been going on in my Hairnista world. As you all know I wear many hats, one of which is being a commercial print model. I was fortunate to book a print campaign for Creme of Nature's new line with Argan Oil. As someone that has grown up in a house where a bottle of Creme of Nature shampoo was always in regular rotation, I was beyond excited! (I mean what little brown girl didn't want to be on a perm box lol). The campaign was shot by stellar photographer Drexina Nelson on location in Atlanta. It was a great day of fun, fashion, and most of all fabulous hair!

In addition to using Argan Oil (one of my FAVE oils btw), these 5 new styling products are totally affordable. Ranging in price from $1.49 - 5.99, even the most frugal Hairnista can indulge her hair fantasy. I'm most excited about the Intensive Conditioning Treatment and the Gloss & Shine Polisher. The polisher was used on my hair during the shoot...it smells divine and my hair was super shiny and soft.

Enjoy the behind the scenes vid below...I give my "Hairnista" take on the beauty of natural hair, Argan oil, and Creme of Nature. Also here are a couple of my personal pics from set.

Hola Hairnistas!

I've been a busy bee as of late but I've finally had a moment to catch my breath and wanted to catch you all up on what's been going on. As you know, I'm a Hairnista that wears many hats...and I was fortunate to book a commercial for Mary Kay! We had an absolute ball and it has been one of my favorite shoots to date. I wore my hair in a curly slicked back ponytail for the shoot and here's a "How-to" to get my super duper slick back :)

PREP:

1. After washing and conditioning my hair I use the following leave-ins:
Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream 16 fl oz (473 ml)
Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker 16oz
Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 54-Ounce Jar
Neil George Indian Gooseberry Treatment Oil

I layered these products on to ensure that my hair would stay moisturized throughout the long shoot.

2. To slick my hair back my ultimate go-to gel is Fantasia Polisher Gel with Sparkles 16 oz. (Hard to Hold). I love this gel because it gives you a super shiny finish along with a strong hold, but no flakes or crunchy hair. After securing my ponytail with a Goody Large No Damage Elastic 17 Pcs, Black, I apply the gel liberally along my entire hairline. I use a boar bristle brush to smooth and then tie on my trusty silk scarf to set.

FINISH:

You can do these steps and sleep overnight to set you ponytail or if you are pressed for time 15-30mins of "scarf time" will usually have you good to go.
Another great product I picked up from the shoot (in addition to my fab Mary Kay make-up) was Bumble and Bumble Styling Creme, 8-Ounce Bottle. The hairstylist used this on set to twist and define my ringlets. It smelled great and was super soft.

Thanks to everyone at Rink Productions, Mary Kay, Lifetime TV, all the cast and crew for such an amazing experience. I have some other projects coming up and can't wait to give you all the behind the scenes hair scoop!
I'm so excited to be a part of the The Diva Lounge brand's expansion to Atlanta! This month's event will be held at my absolute favorite place, Sunny's Hair & Wigs...THE ultimate destination for all things girlie and fabulous hair. Celebrating 2 years in Atlanta, Sunny's Hair & Wigs is the "go-to" source for the city's many socialites, celebs, and all around glamorous "Georgia Peaches" :) Also co-hosting this month is Young Money Entertainment's sensation Shanell. Poised to take the R&B world by storm, Shanell will be releasing her new mixtape "Shut Up & Listen."(All Diva Lounge attendees will be receving a copy). Shanell has also given me a new dance anthem...her song "Hair Down My Back" is an ode to looong weave...just how I like it!!

So come on out this Sunday and "Let Your Hair Down!" (I'll be there with hair to my waist lol)

Special Promo: Neil George Perfect Hold Hairspray for only $7!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 134px; height: 200px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S5cGYZnlR0I/AAAAAAAAAkQ/WNnwjbNz01I/s200/perfect-hold-hairspray.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5446829290591438658" />
If you love big barrel curls like I do, then this Perfect Hold Hairspray is for you! I'm always on the hunt for the next great flat iron to use not only on my hair but my hair extensions. After a little internet research, I was happy to find that Misikko has great customer service reviews and an array of really great products. If you're a Hairnista like me that only likes quality tools to touch your tresses, then you will be a kid in a candy store! In addition to the Hana line, they carry an array of hair straighteners from CHI to FHI as well as professional hair dryers and other goodies you need to never have a bad hair day.

I was so excited when my Hana Iron arrived. I'm a sucker for presentation and it was adorably packaged:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S5FUyvhk0BI/AAAAAAAAAkI/9qWmPQuWecg/s200/IMG00155.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445226655195123730" />

So on to the true business...does it work? YES! I did a test run on some of my Indian hair and it was like silk. I also had one of my Hairnista stylists give it a go and she loved it! She loved that the temperature is adjustable and that she didn't have to do numerous passes over the hair to straighten it. I definitely recommend this iron for all textures: natural, relaxed, fine, curly, wavy, you name it. As an added bonus, Misikko sent me a sample of their Hana Shine Shield...OMG love it! Not many things can rival FHI's Hot Sauce for me, but this product does. A good heat protectant is so important when using heat tools on your hair. I cannot stress this enough Hairnistas. This product is also is also infused with jojoba oil (one of my fave oils!).

So to win this great iron you can do one of the following to be entered into the contest:

1. At home we follow suit scrubbing our hair within a inch of its life to get that "squeaky clean" feeling. Well little did I know I've been putting my hair through the ringer for all these years :( The culprit? Sulfates..primarily Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Laureth Sulfate. These ingredients are unfortunately harsh cleaning agents that give us the "suds" and "squeaky clean" feeling we've all been told equals properly shampooed hair. After doing a little research I found that SLS is also found in cleaning products used to clean flooring and even car engines (www.hairlossbuddy.com). Car engines?! This is what we've been using to clean our hair and scalps Hairnistas. Well I am done! My new go-to cleanser is sFree Moisture Shampoo. This product is sulfate and paraben free and you will tell the difference on your first wash. It has a creamy consistency closer to that of conditioner and smells divine. For those Hairnistas that use color sFree is great because it won't strip your color and also gives added moisture. My hair always felt like straw after using regular shampoos...even when I would dilute them. I accepted it because I thought this was just how it was supposed to be. Well I am officially on the no sulfate bandwagon and I hope that my fellow Hairnistas join me. sFree retails for a little under $20 for a 16oz bottle...a great deal. So say "YES" to healthy hair and toss all of your harsh SLS shampoo out with last year's wigs :)

DIY Diva: Clairol Beautiful Collection Moisturizing Color

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 125px; height: 165px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S43vjbCFAbI/AAAAAAAAAjo/zVlMVrPQPT8/s400/yhst-2519492840586_2094_1012961238.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5444270916391731634" />
I've been in a little bit of a hair rut and needed a pick me up...color! I've rinsed my hair jet black in the past and figured now is as good a time as any to give it a go again. Now you all know by now how anal I am about the health of my hair, so I didn't want to use anything that would damage and undo all my hard work. So nothing permanent here :) I've heard great reviews of Clairol's Beautiful Collection and decided to give it a go. I headed down to Sally's and was happy to see that it only cost $5.99...I was sold. At the recommendation of the salesperson I purchased 2 bottles(she looked at the curly pouf on top of my head and handed me the 2nd bottle lol). So all in all the process was pretty simple. Washed my hair (w/ sulfate free shampoo), applied the color, put on plastic cap and sat under the dryer for 10 minutes, puttered around the house for the next 20 mins, and then rinsed it out. This is a semi-permanent color with no ammonia or peroxide so it is safe to use on natural or relaxed hair. Also, no drippies! I was so nervous that I was going to destroy my bathroom but no worries. So ladies if you're looking for a quick and inexpensive pick me up try a rinse or semi-permanent color. Be a DIY Diva!

Couple of tips:
Pay attn to your hair's moisture levels...color can tend to be drying for some textures.
Use an old throwaway towel to protect your clothing when applying the color.

Fab Find: The Wrapadoo

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 344px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S4lSSB46gfI/AAAAAAAAAjg/mNmegy0mSO0/s400/Wrapadoo+W_Makeup+Mirror+III.JPG.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5442972094352228850" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 379px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S4lSR6WI61I/AAAAAAAAAjY/IWKSSOMyyWA/s400/Wrapadoo+M_D+Breakfast+I.JPG.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5442972092327324498" />

As any Hairnista worth her salt knows, bath towels are for your body, NOT your hair! While there are a lot of great microfiber towels on the market, they are well...just pretty blah. Granted they do the job, but as we all know I love a little fabulousness w/ my haircare and the "Wrapadoo" fits the bill. Thanks to the power of Twitter I found out about this great item and I think you all will love it as much as I do. The Wrapadoo takes the old fashioned towel turban and throws it out the window.

From Wrapadoo.com:
"Wrapadoo™ is a Plush, Ultra-Luxurious hair wrap for women and girls of all hair types. Those chills from a wet head of hair? Gone! The towel flopping over and unraveling? A fuzzy memory. Wrapadoo is the first Great Looking, Serene Feeling, Practical answer to managing wet hair. Place it on your head, Stick the Velcro, Twist the tail twice, pull it up and Loop it over the little “jewel” to secure it. Voila! Retro Glamour. The Snug and Cozy fit sets you free for multi-tasking (or decadent lounging) as well as all those little girly things we need to do. Women Love the Wrapadoo™ experience because it:

Goes On Straight, no need to flip upside-down!
Prevents Tangles, Stress and Breakage
Preserves and Promotes our Natural Shine and Bounce
Custom fit stays Secure with Adjustable Velcro closure
Adds Warmth to a hair masque, conditioning treatment or just those cold Winter mornings
Protects our hair from humidity and moisture when we’re relaxing in the tub or jumping “in and out” of the shower quickly.
Can be worn down to capture and protect our long, fragile or curly hair
Preserves our expensive extensions and weaves.
Packs easy and light (only 7oz) for Anytime, Anywhere Pampering
Gives us complete mobility for multi-tasking
Creates Premium moisture balance for enhanced, consistent product application
Looks Glamorous, Feels Fabulous!"

I have to say Hairnistas, the above is true and then some. I always have a hard time wrapping my hair in a towel and getting to stay while taking care of things around the house...not with the Wrapadoo. The large rhinestone is fab as well as functional :) There are even girl sizes for your Little Hairnista...this is definitely going on my gift list for my Hairnista circle. Starting at $60 this is a must have for your hair arsenal.

p.s. i have the pink leopard...so eartha kitt i luv it!

My Weapon of Mass Destruction: Ouidad Double Detangler

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 250px; height: 250px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S3IZDN_V2qI/AAAAAAAAAjQ/2dD9NH5MvLM/s400/P242154_hero.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436435243275246242" />

If you're a Curly Hairnista like me then you are always on the hunt for the "miracle" tool to help keep you hair tangle free. Well ladies I have found something that is going to change your life: the Ouidad Double Detangler. This mammoth comb has two rows of teeth that will glide through the coarsest, tightly curled hair with ease. At first when I saw the price tag ($24) I was a little wary. Had my obsession with my hair gotten out of control? Well I justified the purchase in the name of "research" and ordered it from Sephora.com (another bonus here--free product samples with your order!). I will forewarn you, this comb is heavy...knock someone out heavy lol. But thankfully I've been working faithfully with my trainer the last few months so I was up to the challenge. I co-washed my hair and used the Double Detangler to distribute the conditioner through my hair. It was so easy I was flabbergasted. I know I sound dramatic, but that is how amazing it was. I was able to go through my entire head root to tip and afterwards my hair was detangled so well that I was able to run my fingers through it with no problem. This NEVER happens. The longer I continue to grow out my hair the more of a chore it had started to become. Thanks to this comb I'm continuing my hair journey with renewed excitement.

I recommend you use the Double Detangler on wet hair, preferably in the shower. If you're a thick 4a (like me), or 4b, or simply someone with curly hair that is prone to tangles or knots, this tool will change your life. For a super one two punch, pair the comb with Neil George's Detangle Nourishment Spray.

Legendary Hairnista: Madame C.J. Walker. Widely recognized as America's first self-made millionaire, Madame Walker is "the" name in African-American haircare. Due to the lack of products available for women of color at that time, Madame Walker started a product line that revolutionized the industry and changed the face of Black haircare as we know it. One interesting tidbit I found today is that while it is often said that she invented the pressing comb, according to www.madamecjwalker.com that isn't the case. So while she didn't invent it, she is responsible for it becoming the "go to" straightening method for African-American hair.

How much do I love that she called herself "Madame?" So fabulous...Happy Friday Hairnistas! Have a great hair day in honor of this legendary trailblazer.

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/TheHairnistaChronicles/~3/BfR0SbiXmvA/legendary-hairnista-madame-cj-walker.html" title="Legendary Hairnista: Madame C.J. Never one to disappoint, Lady GaGa hit the red carpet in a sparkly space-aged bodysuit dress combo...with the wig attached!! I know for some of you it may be too "out there," but this Hairnista was totally impressed. The platinum and golden blonde wig was styled with big, lush waves...a look I love.

My next standout wig of the night was Grammy's Golden Girl Beyonce'. Wearing a lacefront wig in her signature blonde, Bey went from the red carpet, to the stage for her performance, and back to her seat with ease. I would also like to give kudos to her stylist for the flawless application. Lacefront wigs are the saving grace for many female performers. Can you imagine the amount of heat and product it would take to style your hair for the red carpet, then redo it after a full-out stage performance? Do that a few times in a row to your own hair and there won't be much left! I love that Celeb Hairnistas like Bey, Tyra, and Wendy Williams have brought lacefront wigs to the mainstream. However I will leave you with this Hairnistas: Get your wig professionally applied!!! I don't want to see anymore of you walking around with visible glue or tape on your edges. Unacceptable!

Ok off my wig soapbox :)

What were your fave looks of Grammy night?

images via Bossip

Product Spotlight: Sofn'free GroHealthy Milk Protien & Olive Oil Line

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S2Dg_OxcqnI/AAAAAAAAAiY/y8moQ27__7s/s400/Milk%26Olive_Group_4_LR.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431588527510694514" />

I've been enjoying this new line for the past month and I'm so glad to introduce it to my fellow Hairnistas! Sofn' free's new Milk Protein & Olive Oil line is a welcome addition to my product stash. Geared to strengthen and repair your hair, all of the products in this line contain the following:

"
Milk Protein to soothe the scalp, and strengthen and add shine to your hair
Olive Oil to promote a healthy scalp, repair damage and add even MORE shine
Omega 3 to rebuild, strengthen & protect your hair from within
"

The full line includes a Strengthening Creme, Daily Growth Lotion, Three-Layer Growth Oil, Deep Conditioning Treatment, and a Leave-In Treatment. I'm forever deep conditioning my hair, so I was happy to see that a DC was a part of this line. My scalp tingled when I applied it and after steaming my hair along with the Three Layer Growth Oil I was very happy with the results. The 3 Layer Growth Oil is also great as a pre-poo. Visually it is also pretty cool...the three oils are separated (milk protein, olive, omega-3) and you shake the bottle to activate them (I'm a nerd and love interactive things lol). My standout favorite of the line is the Leave-In Treatment. It comes in a spray bottle and it works well for those of us that wear sew-ins. You can lift your tracks and mist your braids after washing your hair. It will make your hair soft and very easy to detangle.

I do love to splurge from time to time but I'm always happy to find reasonably priced products that actually work. This line starts at around $4.99...you can't beat that ladies! In these uncertain economic times we have to find a happy medium between our splurges and necessities. I definitely recommend this line for all my Hairnistas. Your hair can thank me later :)

Fab Friday - My Inspirations

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 295px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S1nom0g2QLI/AAAAAAAAAiQ/SrMTrYgCCB0/s400/blondie.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429626579400933554" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 304px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S1nV6V6xeWI/AAAAAAAAAiI/cXObi4fRoFc/s400/MV5BMTIyMDY3NTM3OF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwNzg0MzI2._V1._SX304_SY400_.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429606024064629090" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 318px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S1nV6LPqWrI/AAAAAAAAAiA/O_VcniO4iJU/s400/CHER.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429606021199452850" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 384px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S1nV5oLOfSI/AAAAAAAAAh4/acPZ1onEM78/s400/ross_diana2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429606011785608482" />
I wanted to take a minute today to pay homage to some of my Hairnista inspirations. I've tried the entire line and am in hair heaven. My favorite product from the line is the Indian Gooseberry Treatment Oil ($41.59)(you guys know I'm a sucker for a great oil!). Over the past year I've been incorporating Ayurvedic oils and products into my regimen and this is a welcome addition. Per Neil George's salon:

"The Indian Gooseberry, (Phyllanthus emblica), found primarily in India and Nepal, contains nearly 20 times as much Vitamin C as the orange making it the most concentrated form of this Vitamin in the plant kingdom. One of the world’s most powerful antioxidants, the fruit and its oil (Amla or Amalaki) have played an important role in traditional hair and skin formulations and direct use on the body and hair for thousands of years on the Indian subcontinent. It is thought the benefits include promoting healthier hair, stimulating hair growth, nourishing and moisturizing the hair and scalp, supporting and strengthening hair follicles resulting in less thinning of the hair, maintaining youthful and lustrous hair color, and preventing premature graying.
Ripening in autumn, the berries are harvested by hand after climbing to upper branches bearing the fruits, followed by a meticulous 21-step process at low heat to maintain potency of the vitamins and minerals as well as the biological intelligence of this remarkable plant. The traditional ayurvedic processing prepares the fruit for use in formulas for ingestion, folk medicine and daily life."

My favorite way to use this oil is to add to the Neil George Intense Repair Mask and then steam my hair. For highly textured hair like mine it is a godsend. No tangles!! (My Natural Hairnistas can relate) :)

Your Hair Extension's New Best Friend: Neil George Refresh Dry Shampoo

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 353px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S1UtHToIumI/AAAAAAAAAho/T_mze3id8oE/s400/file_168_3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5428294529415952994" />

This is your Hair Extension's new best friend! For my Hairnistas that wear pre-tipped extensions you know that limiting the frequency of your shampoo/conditioning routine is key to extending the life of your hairstyle. Constant washing and conditioning can break down your bonds, and after making that kind of investment I know you want your extensions to last! Neil George's Refresh Dry Shampoo ($17.89) is great for cleaning your hair in between regular washes. If you're a Hairnista that loves sew-ins (like me!) then you will love this product as well. The shampoo is in a pressurized aerosol form...almost like a deodorant spray...so you'll be able to lift your tracks and spray your scalp underneath.

Now if you're not an extension wearer don't despair, this is still a goodie you need in your arsenal. After a night of partying, use the Dry Shampoo to remove the smoky reminder of the night before :) This is also a must for traveling, camping, or any activity where you'll need to clean your hair but may not have access to water or not much time.

I'll be posting more items from the Neil George Salon line in the coming days (i'm kind of obsessed if you can't tell lol). It has given me a reason to start cleaning out all of my old product stash under my sink :)

Celebrity Hairnistas: The Golden Globe Edition

<img style="display:block; Beauty starts from within, and the state of our hair is the manifestation of our inner health. The cornerstone of any good hair regimen is a great hair vitamin or "growth aid" as it is commonly referred to in hair circles. Nioxin Intense Therapy Recharging Complex has become my go-to growth aid after searching high and low. I love it because I've been able to replace my regular multi-vitamin with this and now have the added benefits of Biotin and Folic Acid...both of which contribute to stronger, healthier hair, great skin, longer nails and drumroll...faster hair growth! After about a week I noticed a marked difference in my nails, and over a 2 month period I definitely noticed a jump in my length compared to normal. So Hairnistas as much as I love my wigs, weaves, falls I still take great care of my body and the actual hair on my head lol. If you've been slacking on your vitamins or are in search of a good one, try Nioxin Intense Therapy Recharging Complex Tablets.

Really, who doesn't want beautiful hair, skin, and nails?

Magic In A Jar: Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 353px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_71aBj7vLTRU/S01MSL86baI/AAAAAAAAAgo/_dFBv-S6u7s/s400/file_154_12.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5426077001380949410" />
While on vacay in Hawaii I was given a sample of this skin cream and was absolutely blown away!
