Toilet tissue mysteriously appears in my house. Could it be fairies? No. Could it be ghosts? Ghosts do not shop. Wait a minute, I haven't died so I guess I could be wrong. I will just have to postulate. Hey, that doesn't sound really good does it? Postulate. Funny sounding word I don't use often. Kind of like stoic. Not a word used often and it's hidden in the college dictionary.Why?

Since I worry my dinner guests anyway, I put together our super special southern survival dinner. The menu:

Today’s Road Kill Speshal:

Tobacco Possum with engine smoked turnips
Deep-fried owl with crock-pot corn pone
Toaster oven chit’lin succotash and sugar-fried biscuits.

What does this have to do with Halloween? Nothing, it’s called going out of mind and I’m taking a few with me *laughing*. Since it’s Christmas, I have a tip on how to wrap your favorite annoying friend’s gift…
Items you’ll need:

plywood
lots of screws (drywall screws)
screw gun
back up battery

Cut plywood to size, screw every 1/2” around perimeter on both sides and be sure to drain battery. On the day you give your lucky friend their gift don’t tell them you drained the battery, it’s the whole point of dragging this ordeal out. Your friend will be anticipating on what’s inside the box to only be aggravated because of a dying screw gun… but their determination keeps them going anyway. When the gun is dead then give them the fully charged battery…you’ll get a few laughs or at worst you’ll get smacked!

Left Over Halloween Candy

Talk about left over candy, I didn’t have any Trick-or-treater’s. Where did they all go? I know, they were invincible? Bette Midler put a spell on them? “Lost” in another season? Jersey Shore maybe?

And I thought last year was disastrous, this year takes the cake of the last 20! Does anyone procreate anymore? Don’t answer that. So while I wallow in pity I found a few recipes for my gosh darn left over candy that I’ll be eating on for the next 30 darn days! I am in favor of celebrating Halloween on Saturday of every year.

So while I’m wallowing here on this side of the dirt, here is a few recipes I found online but I have to warn you these Deep fried snickers are sooooo good…they’re a heart attack waiting on a stick. Just what I need to get over my horrible Halloween nightmare.

My Epitaph May Read…

First, my funeral plans.

Plan the party for my viewers.
Order mechanical limbs and glass eyes.
Order shovels as party favors.
Pay off mortician for extra installation on casket.
Hire Alan Abel as director and Jack Nicholson to officiate.
Schedule ambulance and firefighters (in case of heart attacks or if guests try to torch me before hand.

For my final party!

Imagine a barrel of shovels at the funeral house door with toe tags attached reading something like…”take one just in case”. You enter and find the place is dark, curtains drawn, there are guests you don’t know and can’t wait to inquire. There’s a face you recognize, it’s Jack! But how does she know Jack?

After everyone is done greeting each other saying how sorry they are for the loss of such a…eh um… nice person they will settle in their pews to hear the eulogy given by none other than Jack; frightening right?

Alan meantime is directing the Key Grip and Propsmater to lower the lighting and make ready for the casket scene. Viewers will have the chance to say their good-bye’s but not without an eyelid popping open for a few guests but wait….for the finale I want an arm to thrust up in the air. Too much? I don’t think so, at least my body won’t sit up with a rotating head. At least I’m a little considerate, I ordered the ambulance remember?

Okay, so I went a little overboard but I’m still thinking of how and what I’ll have at my funeral. What will your epitaph read?

How many days until Halloween? ARGH! I don’t think I have ever been this way, waiting for October to be over with. What’s wrong with me? **blowing raspberries** I have tons of stuff I could be doing before Halloween but without my full nest (family) I am instead twiddling my thumbs. OH YEAH! I almost forgot, I will be posting some “toe tags” later this week. That is if my dawg will let me.

No he doesn’t rule my roost but requires lots of walks; play dates with neighborhood doggie friends and a generous amount of love! So to you my friends, I hope to have your toe tags done soon…er…party favor toe tags that is. *snickering*
