Following a rundown of J-Wize’s 4th of July fun with making sandwiches with Diego and hanging at Earthwork Farm, Jon professes a love of fireworks. Diego calls in, and his mind-control device fails, just as Koz calls in to stoke the fireworks of east coast vs. west coast. We talk to the organizers of the common ground festival about their variety of acts (including Verve Pipe, Rick Springfield, and LL Cool J, among others), as well as their brand new variety of APPS (for iPhone and Android devices)! Also we try and figure out what Google Plus is. We fail.

Allissa called in with a struggle on the love of her life and his mother’s anti-tattoo issues. North Korea has attack hovercraft ready to go, but J-Wise points out they technically wouldn’t be invading South Korea, just blowing really hard. It’s the Happiest of Hours.

What an amazing opportunity for Back to the Future fans! HHour featured exclusive new music from Frontier Ruckus frontman Matthew Millia (aka Matt ‘Millians’). Millians took second place in our annual Holiday Haiku to Slam Poet Black Belt Scott Raven, of the Mayhem Poets, who ordered steak. The poets perform live at the MSU Union for free on December 10th at 9:00 pm, and Frontier Ruckus performs live at Mac’s December 10th, doors open at 9:00 pm.
