We're sorry to announce that we will no longer be selling Trollbeads online at TrollbeadsFun.com.

Our retail location, at Buttermore Jewelers, in Parkersburg, W.Va., is still open for business with the complete Trollbeads inventory of products on display and sale. We still working on plans as for what we're going to do with TrollbeadsFun.com, the website. We may just leave it as a way to display all the inventory available, that you can buy by phone (304-422-6401) - we have not really finalized plans just yet.

Trollbeads Raffle for Humane Society Food and Supply Drive

As part of our annual Humane Society Food and Supply Drive, we are having a Trollbeads Raffle... Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. All proceeds go to the Humane Society of Parkersburg. The raffle runs through the end of our Trunk Show, which runs Monday, 9/20 through Wednesday 9/22.

The winner will choose between the above blue-themed Trollbeads Bracelet, or a "Pod Necklace" with Trollbead, shown here:

Write a Post, Help a Dog - Perfect Timing!

Pedigree is sponsoring a "Write a Post, Help a Dog" contest where when blog owners write a post about Pedigree's Adopt a Dog program, they will donate a 20-pound bag of PEDIGREE Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs a shelter. There are literally millions of dogs that wind up homeless each year. According to Pedigree, more than 4 million - a number that is shockingly hard to believe! Some of these dogs are purebreds, some are mutts, but one thing's for sure: they are all deserving of a good home and have love to give to new owners out there.

So if you write a blog of any kind, write a post like this one, link to their pages, and generate another dog food donation. You can also visit their Facebook page and hit the Like button - every time that happens they donate a pound of dog food. So far, as of this writing, there are 1,114,442 fans of that page. That is a LOT of donated dog food!

This program runs through Sunday, September 19, so time is running out. Please share this article where ever you can, and tell all your Facebook pals to at least visit their page and Like it!

The timing of this program is interesting, as it coincides with Buttermore Jewelers own Humane Society Food and Supply Drive. Through the upcoming Trollbeads Trunk Show, running from Monday, Sept. 20 through Wednesday, Sept. 22, bring in a name brand bag of dog or cat food, non-clumping cat litter, large case of paper towels, new small animal bed, laundry detergent, or large jugs of bleach, and receive (while supplies last) a free charm (see photos here: http://www.facebook.com/buttermore.jewelers?v=app_2344061033#!/album.php?aid=38088&id=1805463710).
