Paul Rahe of Ricochet.com has what I believe is a prophetic article about how this year's election will turn out.

A thorough and complete rejection of liberalism. In the most devastating way possible. I don't trust that Mitt Romney is a true blue conservative, but I know he has a conservative streak, and he's a tax cutter, and I loves me some tax cuts! :)

Obama’s support is a mile wide and a quarter of an inch deep.

Of course, if Romney were a corpse as yet unburied on the model of Bob Dole and John McCain, he would lose. If you do not all that much care whether you win or not, you will lose. But Romney wants to win. He is a man of vigor, and he has a wonderful case to make. He is a turn-around artist, and this country desperately needs turning around. Barack Obama has no argument to make. He can only promise more of the same — yet another stimulus and higher taxes on the investing class. All that Romney has to do if he wants to win is to make himself presentable, and that should not be hard. He is handsome, tolerably well-spoken, and accomplished. If, in the debates, he stands up to the President, he will seem the more presidential of the two – and that will do the trick, as it did in 1980.

The question that everyone will pose to himself on the first Tuesday in November is this: ‘Do I want four more years of this?’ And Romney can drive it home: ‘Do you want four more years of massive unemployment? Do you want four more years of food stamps? Do you want to lose the job that you have? Do you want to be out of work when you get out of college? Or do you want to see this country get moving again? Barack Obama took his shot – the stimulus bill, Obamacare, and Dodd-Frank. And where has it left us? With the most anemic recovery in the history of this country!

What it boils down to is something I've been saying for a long time - Barack Hussein Obama is a socialist, and Americans do not want socialism. When the Democrat Party won Congress in 2006, and the Kenyan Marxist homosexual was elected president (in spite of his ineligibilty) in 2008, it was because George W. Bush and the Republican Party had abandoned conservatism, and Bush left office with the country in shambles. In other words, they got fired. Obama and the Democrats were not hired, and like Rahe, I believe Obama has done more damage to liberalism than a room full of Rush Limbaughs, Sean Hannity's, Glenn Becks, and other great patriots behind the microphone.

And I will reiterate one more thing - if Col. Allen West* is chosen as Romney's VP, Romney wins all 50 states.

A successful businessman and a war hero. Just what this country needs!

The revelations made by Larry Sinclair in 2008 gave rise to the suspicion that Barack Hussein Obama may be gay, or at least bi-sexual, but this fascinating video by Dr. Jerome Corsi of World Net Daily sheds a lot of light on the matter. Nothing is mentioned about the murder of Donald Young (whom Sinclair believes was Obama's gay lover, and that Obama may have had a hand in the killing, which I strongly suspect as well), but another piece of the mysterious puzzle that is Barack Hussein Obama has fallen into place.

He may think he can fool Americans into believing he is simply a center-left Democrat who is trying to serve his country well, but the evidence that he is a diabolical, incompetent, sexually deviant, and angry revolutionary is like a tidal wave. It has been fun to watch the GOP debates just to see what the candidates will say next. I don't know if I can handle being blown away on a regular basis like this!

EPA: Regulations would require 230,000 new employees, $21 billion

The Environmental Protection Agency has said new greenhouse gas regulations, as proposed, may be “absurd” in application and “impossible to administer” by its self-imposed 2016 deadline. But the agency is still asking for taxpayers to shoulder the burden of up to 230,000 new bureaucrats — at a cost of $21 billion — to attempt to implement the rules.

The EPA aims to regulate greenhouse gas emissions through the Clean Air Act, even though the law doesn’t give the EPA explicit power to do so. The agency’s authority to move forward is being challenged in court by petitioners who argue that such a decision should be left for Congress to make.

The proposed regulations would set greenhouse gas emission thresholds above which businesses must file for an EPA permit and complete extra paperwork in order to continue operating. If the EPA wins its court battle and fully rolls out the greenhouse gas regulations, the number of businesses forced into this regulatory regime would grow tremendously — from approximately 14,000 now to as many as 6.1 million.

The article goes on to say that these regulations aren't likely to work. You think? When have government regulations EVER worked?

Dan Savage, himself a loud and vocal homosexual activist, mocked the tea party's commitment to preserving freedom on "Slog" earlier today:

You're damn straight that tea party patriots will scream "freedom," because the government has NO PLACE dictating what kind of food you eat (especially since Moochelle could hit the gym herself), what kind of lightbulbs or grocery bags to use, and whether or not you should wear a seatbelt or a motorcycle helmet.

This is how the statist gains and keeps power - by starting out with the seemingly mundane aspects of our lives that they think no one will care about it, and soon they will be controlling your health care. Don't think there's any death panels? Look up "quality adjusted life year," in the health care law. The government will determine if the quality of your life warrants health care, or if they should let you die.

THAT'S RIGHT!

And leftist hypocrites have excoriated Ron Paul for telling this simple truth.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO BE IN OUR LIVES LIKE THAT!!!

It's not anywhere in the Constitution. And any court that says it is has contributed to what Mark Levin calls the soft tyranny running the country I fought for in Vietnam, the country I can hardly recognize now.

It's bad enough Savage had to use the sexual slur "teabagger" to denigrate the Tea Party, but...well sometimes it's hard when people just can't see their country is slipping away, and they aid, abette, and assist in it's destruction, as if they want that to happen.

The illegal regime of Barack Hussein Obama has appointed a czar whose sites are set on more of our freedoms. She is an electronic medical records czar, Judith Faulkner, who runs her own electronic medical records company (of course), wants to block any competition and is a big donor bundler for Comrade Barry (again, of course).

Must be nice to be a member of the “in” crowd, the crowd of crony capitalists to whom President Obama has given so much of the taxpayer’s money. And not just money but positions of power in the government.

Take, for instance, Obama’s newest czar, Judith Faulkner, recently named Obama medical records czar. She was not only put in charge of deciding which company would be used for Obama’s official electronic medical records system, but she also just happens to have an electronic medical records company of her own. And, gosh, it seems her company is suddenly quite busy and just might be in line to become THE electronic medical records company. Imagine that.

Only a few weeks ago news of Faulkner’s elevation to Obama’s Health Information Technology Policy Committee. This committee is charged with deciding how $19 billion in Obama bucks is spent on healthcare IT systems.

It was known then that Faulkner ran a company called Epic Systems Corp., a company that specializes in electronic medical records. It was also known that Faulkner stands squarely against Obama’s idea that his IT solution has to have “interoperability,” or a way to integrate over several different platforms made by different companies.

Faulkner thinks that only her company, Epic Systems, should be the one to host all electronic medical records. Other companies need not apply.

The article goes on to describe how Faulkner’s company received other large contracts from the government.

Folks, this article must be distributed and go viral.

It must also go ALL OVER the internet so that right thinking patriots can act quickly, because you can bet that the liberal media won't touch this story with a ten foot pole, so invested they are in Obama's regime succeeding.

Whoever controls medical records, controls life and death policies (which is why Faulkner wants to block competition). When connected to the even more egregious and invasive Obamacare, there will be no limit on what an all-powerful regime, like the current one strives to be, can do to its citizenry from cradle to grave. It will affect and influence every aspect of life.

The stakes are high. Rick Perry must be elected to stop and reverse this trend towards fascist socialism!

Wright (whose church he didn’t sit in for 20 years) has a history of anti-semitic remarks, and said church did honor Louis Farrakhan. So when he goes off teleprompter, the truth comes out, no?

I agree that he is cracking up, and I predict he will either announce that he isn’t running, and Hillary will take his place, or that he is stepping down altogether.

Poll finds Obama approval at historic low

President Barack Obama's approval ratings have fallen to a new low, with only 36 percent of Americans saying that they approve of the way he is handling his job overall, according to a new poll from the Economist/YouGov. A majority of Americans - 56 percent - disapprove of the president's performance.

Even more concerning for the president may be the news that top Republican candidates have moved within striking distance in head-to-head matchups. Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney trails Obama by just a 44 percent to 43 percent margin, while Texas governor Rick Perry trails 46 percent to 42 percent.

As has been the case in previous polls showing the president's slipping approval, Americans seem frustrated primarily in a souring economy. Only 30 percent of Americans strongly or somewhat approve of the president's handling of the issue. 50 percent of Americans believe that the policies of the Obama Administration have hurt the economy, and 53 percent say that they have hurt the middle class.

The root of this, as I see it, was Obama's insistence on a budget busting porkulous package instead of doing the tried and true remedy for a deep recession of simply cutting taxes, and getting the government out of the way of progress. The reasons he didn't do this are:

1). He needed a payoff to the union goons who bankrolled his campaign, especially the SEIU. And they've responded to this payoff in kind, haven't they? Ask Kenneth Gladney!

2) He is completely incompetent, and may even be not very bright. Really, for all of his vaunted Ivy League intelligence, this guy has no clue about anything, especially when it comes to economics. The fact that he doesn't release his college records strongly implies that he may have gotten into Harvard because of affirmative action. As for his intelligence, why does he use a teleprompter for each and every public appearance he makes. Without it, he's just an incoherent word salad of "um," "uh," and "er."

3) He is deliberately trying to destroy the economy, so that as many Americans as possible are dependent on government for their very survival. Glenn Beck has written about something called the Cloward and Piven Strategy, but in a nutshell, it's where the government deliberately and systematically subverts the private sector so that people are forced to turn to government for their subsitence. It shows up in the 99ers (people who have been receiving unemployment insurance welfare for 99 weeks), and in Barack Hussein Obama's bleating for more funding for this program. I don't know if this is true or not, but given Obama's diabolical nature, it wouldn't surprise me if he is plotting to do this every day.

At any rate, it sure ain't working, and people are waking up to it. It makes me wonder if a pretext for suspending the 2012 election, or even the US constitution isn't in the works. I wouldn't put this past Obama and it Democrat Party minions to have a plan to do this just waiting to be implemented.

Barack Hussein Obama - the illegal president - pledged he would start a clean-energy revolution that would create 5 million green jobs over 10 years. Of course, when government intrudes in the marketplace, bad things happen. Such as these: the Top 10 Green Job Fiascos.

1. Solar debacle: Solyndra Inc., which manufactured solar panels at its plant in Fremont, Calif., received $535 million in Energy Department loans, and President Obama talked glowingly about how the company was “leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.” Instead of creating work for Americans after receiving taxpayer money, the company shipped half its manufacturing jobs to China. In August, Solyndra declared bankruptcy and laid off 1,100 workers.

2. Government Motors: This takeover of GM and Chrysler - the clearest example of Marxism with a sprinkle of fascism thrown in for god meaure - came with a price: The carmaker was tasked to create the ultimate green vehicle. The result—the Chevy Volt—is a product with an exorbitant price tag that nobody wants to buy. Despite vast government subsidies, GM only sold 3,200 cars in the first eight months since the electric plug-in vehicles hit the marketplace.

3. Spanish windmills: Spain’s quixotic quest to create a green-jobs economy should have been a lesson for the United States. After Spain went crazy subsidizing windmills and solar farms, the result was higher utility bills for consumers, with a loss of 2.2 jobs in other industries for every green job created. And each green job came at a cost of $774,000 to Spanish taxpayers. In addition, if you want to know how popular windmills are with the enviro watermellon types (they are green on the outside, but FIRE ENGINE RED on the inside - socialists in drag) just ask the Kennedy's. They fought the installation of said windmills because it would block their view of Martha's Vinyard!

4. Solar debacle II: Evergreen Solar Inc., of Massachusetts, which received $58 million in stimulus money and other government largesse, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August and closed its plant in Midland, Mich. Not being able to compete against the Chinese and their low-wage workers, the company racked up $485 million in debt and cut 800 jobs, with more cuts to come as the company restructures.

5. Weatherizing stupidity: The city of Seattle received $20 million in federal stimulus money to help homeowners make their houses more energy-efficient. Some 16 months later, 14 jobs were created and three homes were weatherized. Most of the money went to a company to train workers to weatherize buildings, but the lack of demand for the service meant those trainees had no work to do.

6. Green (union) jobs: After Obama’s stimulus package doled out billions to subsidize the weatherization of homes, the Labor Department delayed the project by seven months while it determined the prevailing-wage standards for those green jobs—a sop to the President’s union supporters. That is just one reason why the program turned into a miserable failure. In its first year, the program spent $508 million to create 600 jobs and update 9,000 homes nationwide.

7. Green-car fiasco: Green Vehicles received $500,000 from the city of Salinas, Calif., and another $187,000 from the state of California as it promised to create 70 new jobs making an innovative three-wheel electric car with a $25,000 price tag. Little wonder that company folded without making a single car.

8. Biofuel bust: Before Republicans took back the statehouse in Pennsylvania, Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell helped support the ethanol producer Bionol Clearfield with $27 million in grants and loans, and by issuing $67 million in tax-free bonds. But even a deal with Getty Oil to buy the fuel couldn’t save the venture from going belly-up two years after its founding.

9. Do-nothing government: Johnson Controls, which manufactures batteries for electric and hybrid cars at its plant in Holland, Mich., received $300 million in taxpayer help and created a grand total of 150 jobs—or $2 million per job. That must qualify as a huge success in the green-job world, as President Obama visited the facility in August, using the trip to attack Republicans and a “do-nothing government.” Yes, Mr. President, sometimes doing nothing is preferable to shoveling money into a hole.

10. Almost two jobs created in Vegas: Clark County, Nev., which happens to be the home of the gambling mecca of Las Vegas, received $490,000 in stimulus money from the U.S. Forest Service to plant trees in urban neighborhoods (more palm trees on The Strip?). The stimulus that resulted from the grant to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s home state created 1.7 jobs (one full-time employee and one part time) and 11 temporary jobs. You get a better return for your money at the slot machines.

These are ten examples of scams the watermellons pursue in their real quest - imposing socialism. Think about that when you realize why you can't buy incandescent lightbulbs anymore, or can't ask for paper or plastic bags at the supermarket anymore, or you must wear seatbelts when driving, or when you must wear a helmet while riding a bike or motorcycle. I thought all 9 candidates made some excellent points and remain convinced that whomever wins the nomination will be a vastly superior president when compared to the Kenyan marxist homosexual illegally occupying the White House.

I thought Perry shot himself in the foot with his defense of a policy granting in-state tuition to illegal aliens. I also thought Perry looked like a deer caught in headlights at times, but his vast knowledge, intelligence, and great intellectual heft make him the front runner in my book.

Romney did very well, and while he would be a vastly superior president than Barry Soetoro, I fear he's a McCain RINO.

I thought Herman Cain helped himself considerably and while I have concerns about his lack of political experience, I think he would be critical asset to a Perry Administration. I would seriously consider him for Secretary of State. He would grab the bull by the horns and stop the onslaught of Sharia Law in America.

Michele Bachmann is an amazingly gifted Christian patriot, and she gave solid answers, but she seemed, at times, to be slightly overwhelmed. Her constant attacks on Perry are getting tiresome. (As is the bickering between Perry and Romney).

Rick Santorum did very well. I thought his answer to the gay soldier was right on the money, ad while Perry is my first choice I still think he'd make a terrific president. He would stop the advance of homosexuality dead in it's tracks.

Mr. Newt is obviously very well informed and perhaps even more intelligent than Rick Perry - he'd be an obvious asset in any administration - He'd be my choice for Secretary of Labor. All he'd have to do his order it out of existence and wah lah, no more union goons.

Gary Johnson had a nice quip, but he seemed very nervous. I suspect he would legalize marijuana and stop states from banning gay marriage, which makes him unacceptable in my book.

Jon Huntsman is a very suave and very handsome guy. He looks great in a suit, and he talks a good conservative game. But he supports sodomites getting married, and he believes in global warming, which unfortunately not only makes him a RINO, but someone who probably dabbles in the occult, too. Plus the fact that he lowered himself to serve in the administration of Barack Hussein Obama makes him under suspicion in my book. I suspect he may be an Obama plant, and right thinking American patriots will never forget that. In essence, he's Hanoi Jane Fonda.

Ron Paul is an America hater posing as a libertarian. Anyone who would even suggest that America may have brought 9/11 on itself with some of it's foreign policy behavior is no better than Hanoi Jane Fonda. Period. He shouldn't even be allowed on a GOP stage, and the fact that he has tried taking credit for the Tea Party makes my colon tight.

So to recap and sum up, while Rick Perry stumbled, he remains an intellectual giant and THE bright light who can save American from the damage done by the Kenyan marxist homosexual. Herman Cain is a distant second, but in the conversation for a Perry administration, along with Santorum and Gingrich. Bachmann needs more work, but is a true patriot and is the face of the Tea Party and what it stands for. Romney is a RINO, but would be a vast improvement over the illegal president we have now (I'm sure he would have no problem releasing his long form birth certificate if asked). The rest are snakes in sheep's clothing, and an insult to the great honorable history of conservatism.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona has appointed a “cold case posse” to determine whether President Barack Obama was actually born in the United States.

The news was first reported by World Net Daily, an online publication that has doggedly pursued conspiracy theories about the president’s birth.

Sgt. Jesse Spurgin, a spokesman for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed the news to The Daily Caller on Tuesday.

Spurgin explained that the tough-on-crime Arizona sheriff is tasking the posse with examining documents provided to Arpaio by author Jerome Corsi.

The specific thing I want investigated are the fact that twins were born a day later, in the same (supposed) hospital, but their birth certificates are not only different; they show a certificate number that is earlier than Obama's faked certificate demonstrates.

That's the smoking gun, IMHO.

Excellent Rick Perry ad

I have been hoping that Sarah Palin would run, because her great intellectual heft and keen insights on the issues, plus good old American common sense would leave Barack Hussein Obama speechless, and I am certain she would win in a 50 state sweep. It doesn't look like she will run, however. But Rick Perry is, and he is, simply put, a man. Barack Hussein Obama is not.

This country needs a MAN. Not a petulant, arrogant little boy who cannot face the fact of his failure, or ineligibility.
