&lt;p&gt; Using the raw URL doesn&amp;#8217;t work  but making it a link will take you to the album at Picasa&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You have to use the Photonic &amp;#8220;shortcode&amp;#8221; to make it work. The general shortcode format is:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;[bracket]gallery type=&amp;#8217;picasa&amp;#8217; user_id=&amp;#8217;abc&amp;#8217; album=&amp;#8217;ablum_name&amp;#8217;[closebracket]&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So I&amp;#8217;m going to use&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;&lt;a href="http://markmaunder.com/2011/08/02/technical-details-and-scripts-of-the-wordpress-timthumb-php-hack/" target="_blank"&gt;Technical details and scripts of the WordPress TimThumb.php hack&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt; but even better Mark has written a WordPress plugin that you can install. It will find any vulnerable copies of timthumb.php and allow you to update them to a secure version. The plugin is called &lt;strong&gt;Timthumb Vulnerability Scanner &lt;/strong&gt;and is available from the &lt;a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/timthumb-vulnerability-scanner/?compatibility%5Bversion%5D=3.2.1&amp;#38;compatibility%5Btopic_version%5D=1.3&amp;#38;compatibility%5Bcompatible%5D=1" target="_blank"&gt;WordPress.org plugin directory&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: medium;"&gt;This vulnerability is now widely know and websites are being hacked. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

And it can automatically create and send the backups to Dropbox, Amazon S3, and other cloud-based storage spaces.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The problem is that in the upgrade to WordPress 3.2 and the corresponding upgrade to the plugin (2.0), the plugin has broken! The developer is working on a fix and has a development version in the works, but my testing of that version finds it&amp;#8217;s &lt;em&gt;still&lt;/em&gt; broken.&lt;/p&gt;

I want to see what plugins and themes break before I recommend upgrading to my clients.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So far everything seems to be working with &lt;del&gt;RC2&lt;/del&gt;, &lt;del&gt;RC3&lt;/del&gt; 3.2 (with one exception&amp;#8230;.*)&lt;/p&gt;

I need to see how these work and ferret out potential interactions among the various extensions before I recommend them for a client&amp;#8217;s site.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://hartsook.com/wp-content/uploads/wordpressLogo.jpg" rel="lightbox[564]" title="wordpressLogo"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;So when WordPress 3.1 was released today I hit the auto-update button to see what would happen (of course I had backed up my database and files first). &lt;em&gt;This is NOT something I would recommend that &lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;you&lt;/span&gt; do right away!&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The results &amp;#8212; at first blush everything still seems to be working&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;

One of Stat Surfer&amp;#8217;s statistics categories is Top Referrers. I noticed on a business-client&amp;#8217;s site they were getting referral traffic from porn sites and other unlikely sites. Looking into why this was happening surfaced what apparently is a widespread abuse by spammers that tie up YOUR site resources and help boost search engine rankings for the spam sites.&lt;/p&gt;
