Mini Man, big boy that he is, put the tree up all by himself this year.
Baby Girl had colic . So, I held her and gave instructions.

My contribution to the tree this year.

Mini Man made several ornaments. This one is a taco.

Tactical Gilligan
This week has been so busy. Mini Man started school, I started school, and Mini Man had his first public performance in a musical. Getting ready for it all is just a big blur so there isn't much more to say about it.

At musical practice Mini Man asked me if I was going to take the baby in there with me. Maybe he thought I was going to leave it in the nursery.

He took the phrase to lick the bowl literally.
12 weeks. 12 Weeks!  12 WEEKS! That freaks me out a little bit. Saying three months doesn't sound scary. Do you know how fast 12 weeks will go? That's assuming that I carry to my due date and not go earlier. Even if I am past that, it's not like I'll be able to do anything productive. Mamaw Corn. aka Corn off the Cob
I don't have much of a real update. The baby is getting bigger. This week we have a mango baby. Or papaya, your choice. I think that's a weight comparison because [s]he is over 11 inches long now. I've never seen a papaya or a mango that big.

Yes, the last post said 20 weeks. So I missed one. I never committed to posting here regularly. Well, maybe I did, but I'm pregnant so I'm pretty sure you won't hold it against me. I also (against my better judgment) leaked the news on facebook first and that took most of the joy out of posting here. Sad, yes?

There was an update last week. It is saved as a draft. I just didn't have the gumption (not exactly the word, but it will do) to post it. It was about the tornado that ripped through our friends and family's neighborhoods. Or more about my sadness to see such destruction. I didn't take pictures. There were more than enough out there.
