This was the result of a 20+ year battle for a doctor to take Michelle's throat and tonsil infections seriously.

Since childhood Michelle's tonsils have become infected, often becoming pus filled and covered with white growths - yet no doctor deemed them bad enough to refer Michelle to an ENT consultant. Eventually, luck had to change. Although the restaurant frontage wasn't overly inviting, once inside there was a lovely feel to the place, akin to being back in the eighties. That dreaded desease that has got to the second person in our family.  Although my nan was 82 it was a horrible thing to hear.

We thought that Nanny Bartlett would be able to have treatment when she got stronger but this was never to happen.

Now, though, he has gone and it's time I wrote about it.

My dad was diagnosed with brain cancer on 29 August 2008. We were told that same day that Dad's cancer was terminal.

The brain cancer was a metastasis from a primary cancer somewhere else in his body. We usually get spitting it out or refusing to open her mouth along with the crying but we have finally managed to find some foods that she will eat and opens her mouth for.  She loves egg custard with rice and pettie filous strawberry flavour. Grace would not eat rusk's or baby rice even though we have been told that both Daddy and Mummy loved them when we were babies. Samara is 6 weeks old now but is much bigger than Grace.  They also enjoyed a lunch time pub adventure togeather. Both Mummys enjoyed a drink and a snack while Samara and Grace had snooze time with the occassional snack too! She was very good she had a bottle but mostly slept on mummy.  She did enjoy Nick Junior with James for a while, which made her laugh.
