If you're a gentleman that carries a bag (messengers, briefcases or duffels etc...) you will appreciate the craftsmanship of this designer. Moore & Giles have been around since 1933 and their bags are made from some of the finest leathers the world has to offer. I'm a messenger & duffel bag carrier myself so when I saw the leather on these bags I was impressed. They have a rich worn vintage look that you don't see much anymore. Reminds me of something Indiana Jones would carry.

12 years ago, when the staff of XXL magazine first thought of redoing the "Great Day in Harlem" shoot, they had no idea how successful it would be. The "Great Day in Harlem" photo, taken in 1958, brought together 57 jazz legends on the front stoop of 17 E. 126th St., a brownstone between Fifth and Madison Avenues, for an Esquire magazine piece. (The picture appeared in the January 1959 issue.) XXL's historic recreation, had over 200 Hip-Hop artists flow over three stoops...

The shoot on Sept. 29, 1998 commemorated the 40th anniversary of Art Kane's famous photo of jazz greats such as Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, Count Basie, Thelonious Monk and Lester Young. It also honored the innovators of rap—a musical genre that has influenced popular culture as jazz did in its heyday.

Artists came from near and far, representing the past, present and future of rap music. A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Jermaine Dupri, Canibus, Fat Joe, Da Brat, Wyclef, Pras, Kool Herc, Grand Master Flash, Onyx, E-40, Mack 10, Crucial Conflict, Run-DMC, Slick Rick, Goodie MOB, Luke, Kool Moe Dee, Heather B, Paula Perry and members of Wu Tang Clan and Goodie Mob were all present.

I think the relationship between a customer and her salesperson is a special one. Trust is very important to the union. As a salesperson I prided myself on being completely honest with my customers when suggesting looks and when giving my opinion on customers interests. My point is that whenever I needed that cute dress or top for a customer I could always count on Anna Sui. Her pieces were very feminine and sexy at the same time and along with great style & fit they were the perfect choices for that summer wedding, semi-formal company dinner, and just for a night out on the town.

But here she gives us a large dose of prints and prairie inspired frocks and accessories. The prints are bold and beautiful (yes i said that).

In a recent interview with NPR MUSIC Lauryn Hill spoke candidly, even detailing why she stopped putting out music.

Ms. Hill, who performed at the Harmony Festival a couple weeks ago, has performed very little in the United States in the past decade. But that may be about to change: "I think it's just time. I'm starting to get excited again."

On Why She Stopped Putting Out Music:
"There were a number of different reasons. But partly, the support system that I needed was not necessarily in place. There were things about myself, personal-growth things, that I had to go through in order to feel like it was worth it. In fact, as musicians and artists, it's important we have an environment — and I guess when I say environment, I really mean the [music] industry, that really nurtures these gifts. Oftentimes, the machine can overlook the need to take care of the people who produce the sounds that have a lot to do with the health and well-being of society, or at least some aspect of society. And it's important that people be given the time that they need to go through, to grow, so that the consciousness level of the general public is properly affected. Oftentimes, I think people are forced to make decisions prematurely. And then that sound radiates."
On People's Attraction to Her:
Believe it or not, I think what people are attracted to about me, if anything, is my passion. People got exposed to my passion through music and song first. I think people might realize, you know, 'We love the way she sounds, we love the music, but I think we just love how fearless she is. How boundless she is, when it comes to what she wants to do.' And I think that can be infectious."
On Her Voice:
"I'm trying to open up my range and really sing more. With The Fugees initially, and even withMiseducation, it was very hip-hop — always a singing over beats. I don't think people have really heard me sing out. So if I do record again, perhaps it will have an expanded context. Where people can hear a bit more.
