Well hello to the seven followers I have for this blog! I am sorry it has been so long since I updated here. I have been on one hell of a ride for the past year, and have had so much happening that you wouldn't believe me if I told you ! But anyhow I will try to post some of my more recent work on here soon! I will leave you with this piece I recently did for a proposal. They wanted it in two days, so it's not the best work I have ever done, but it still looks good! Check it out Above.

ABC's Good Morning America

Well I have added a few things to the website . We now have Forum & Chat so all you members can now sign up and chat while on the website. I have also added a Donation Page since I have received several request to do so. A Little more news regarding the Fundraiser on June 13, 2009 I was informed today that Company Commander Staff Sgt. Mace with the Harrisonburg Army recruiting station will be doing a swearing in of New recruits to the Army. Also The mother (Anita Lewis) of Spc Cody C. Grater the Fallen Hero from the war in 2007 That we are doing a Tribute for in the Graphic Novel, will be coming to the fundraiser to accept a Memorial Plaque from us in memory of his Bravery and Service to his country! After many negative responses and comments from soldiers and others I have decided to change one of the charities that was to receive donations from the selling of the Graphic Novel to help the soldiers. The new charity that will receive funds now will be www.fisherhouse.org
So the charities are :
1) USO
2) Wounded Warrior Project
3) Fisher House

I must do what is in the best interest of the Graphic Novel being done to support the soldiers . So therefore I had to make this decision. I can not allow any negativity to be associated with the book. This action I feel is in the best interest of the book so as to help our Brave men and women.

Subject: Pin-ups /and artwork for stories

If your a artist working on a pin-up or a story for the Graphic Novel to help the soldiers I need for you all to send me the original art work for your submission, so as to be able to do the scans myself . Some of the work sent has not been formatted correctly. So to stop this issue here are the submission guidelines

1) I prefer to have all original art mailed to me at

2) I will return all artwork to artist that request it be sent back to them, But I really need the original art to work from for my scans.

3) If you for whatever reason do not want to send me the original art must send me a digital file Standard comic book format size 11X17 saved at 300 dpi in a tiff or bitmap file saved on a CD then mailed to me at the above address. If possible I don't want files over the internet I have had a few be corrupted and I received on with a virus. I know this may seem odd to request but I want to maintain the quality of the scans for the book.

4) All art will be in Black & White or Gray scale no color
5) The only color for the book is the cover which has been decided.If you have any questions please contact me at 540-896-8536 after 5:00 pm

From The wonderful artistic mind of Nathan Thomas Milliner. Nathan has captured the sheer essence of the Graphic Novel in this piece of art! Nathan is the creator of his own graphic novel trilogy "The Malevolent" If you have never heard of or seen this book then you have missed out on one of the best small press book to ever be put into print. Hello Everyone I will be announcing some big news in the next week or so regarding the Graphic Novel progress. But right now I wanted to Bring you all up to date on some things I am working on. On June 13 2009, I will be heading up a Fundraiser for the printing cost of the book which is $6,294 for a 5000 print run. This will be in Broadway VA at Broadway Heritage Park off of Turner Avenue,or at the VFW on route #259 if it rains out. This is going to be a one day event. There will be a cover charge to attend the event, which is where we will make our money for the book. But it will be well worth it as we will be having comic book artist, bands, refreshments, Military servicemen as Guest of honor that we will be honoring for their service. Also there will be a few Hollywood actors attending as well. Keep your eyes on this page as I will be announcing guest names in the coming weeks upon confirmation.

Also my good friend John Parker of Post Mortem Comic Studios will also be holding a Fund raiser for the printing cost of the book in his state of N.C. on August 7th and 8th I will give location details as I receive them. The stories for the novel have started coming in now and I have started sending out the stories to various people so far , as more come in the rest of you that have agreed to work on the book will be getting something shortly from me.Well that's the most recent News I have for everyone so just remember and if you close to or in the area please come to the fundraiser and show your support for what we are trying to do. Well I had the interview regarding Untold Stories from Iraq & Afghanistan Graphic Novel this morning which lasted for an 1 and 30 minutes. It went really well I thought reporter Tom Mitchell interviewed me for the Daily News Record Newspaper. I felt that they really like what I am undertaking to help the soldiers from the war who have fallen and or been injured. The photographer is suppose to come by my house Thursday evening to do a photo shoot of me in my studio. He is also going to interview two soldiers Victor Castro and Michael Sutherland. And also comic publisher and artist John Parker from Post Mortem comics studio about their involvement in the project. I have three stories submitted by soldiers now and I am awaiting four more as we speak. I will be doing a fund rasier to help pay for the cost of printing the GN this summer most likely in June I am putting together the plans as I type this. So that is about it for now, I will update you further as things develope further. In the mean time take some time out of your day and say a prayer for a soldier or thank one for their service. Speak to you all next time !

Well just to bring you guys up to date , The Graphic Novel " Untold Stories From Iraq & Afghanistan " is finally starting to move along now. I have started getting pin-up's from the artist and I am also getting stories from the soldiers starting to come in. Rick Parker artist and cartoonist is drawing a story from a soldier now regarding Camel spiders. He was the artist for MTV's Beavis & Buthead comic. Well it's a New Year and with it I have a new look for the blog. Hope you all like it. Just to let you know I have been getting alot of jobs as of late so I hope this keeps up through out the year. Also the Graphic Novel I am putting together to help the fallen and wounded soldiers from Iraq is still going to be produced. I had to push back the publication date as I have not received the stories from the soldiers as quickly as I had hoped for. I made some new inquiries today to several charitable organizations that I hopw will be able to help me obtain a few morew stories from soldiers. They being , The IAVA and the Wounded Warriors Project so we will see where that takes us. As everyone else does on New Years I have made a few New Year's resolutions so here they go
1) Work on my speed to get my pages out faster without loosing quality
2)Publish Untold Stories From Iraq
3)Spend more time with my lovely wife
4) Work towards being able to make a living doing what I love ! Comics baby Comics
5) Stop trying to quit smoking it never works!
6)Try to talk to my friends online a bit more
Well there you have it folks my New Year resolutions. Anyway I would like to say as well I hope everyone has a fantastic and successfull New Year. Well that is all I have for now so see you in the funny papers!

I have just gone International! I was commissioned to do a Comic Book style Cover ,
for an International Commercial Shipping Magazine called "Marine Money International".
This cover will be seen from New york to London to Asia . This is my first
International work and I am very excited that they loved the final cover.The Cover will
appear on the January ,2009 Issue of "Marine Money International"
I created the entire piece from scratch. I penciled ,inked ,colored ,layed-out & designed
the entire cover including the text. I will post the image as soon as I receive the green light!

Also I am presently working on "COMICS FOR CURE Sketch Cards " which is an annual
event that Comics2Games along with Blue Line Pro Art ,have each year to help raise

Yes everyone I have gone International! I was approached by John Kulukundis to do a Comic Book style cover for the January Issue of "Marine Money Magazine" which is a commercial shipping magazine. What I have been doing Ok people I know I am terrible for updating my blogs and groups so I thought I would bring you all up to date on what has been happening with me. First off it sucks to have to work a regular job when what you want to do is work at your art! That being said I have a few things going on I am doing some commission work for a fitness guru named Dan Burke. He has selected me to do a series of 9X12 pencil drawings for a book that he is going to be publishing. It is similar to the 1940 and 1950 pulp comics of space aliens. So this should be fun. Also I am still penciling Mind Hunter Omega not sure what they are going to release the book as a regular comic or a TPB . I am also working on a submission for Beau Smith for his comic series Parts Unknown, I am not sure if I will get it but I am hoping to. Also I am trying to establish a publisher for my self written and drawn comic The Second Coming, I may be getting a break on that but cant say until I have some solid info. This is to all of my friends here. This past year has actually been a hard one for me. I have had some medical issues and also some problems with my step-son. And I have even thought about giving up my dream of being a comic artist. Heck I even thought about giving up on my art alltogether.I have fallen behind on work that had to be finished. And I have promised to deliver on work which I have not been able to do because of the time constraints of the work I do. I know that really is no excuse to make a promise and not deliver on it . But honestly at the time I thought I could do it. So to all of you that I have said I will do work for you, it is coming! I am just really far behind. As of right now I am not able to do any work for anyone other than what I already have on my plate. It is not that I dont want to ,it is just I have to be realistic with the time that I have to work on projects. Now on to more positive matters! I want to Thank a few special people for their friendship and the help and advice that I have recieved from them this year. Nathan Thomas Milliner,Madman,Comibookinker1971, Jason Craig, Brad Meltzer, Jimmy Palimotti , Problem Child, Nicola Ciceria, Mathew Tow, The Batman, and also the rest of you that I havent named here.So as we start to leave behind 2007 and look to 2008 I want to start the New Year off by getting all those projects that I am behind on out to you. And you know who you are. Now a few New year resolutions.
1) LOL Loose 25lbs
2) Find more time to spend with my wonderful wife Collette!
3) Improve on my artistic endeavours.

I dont know if anyone follows my blog. I dont really post as often as I would like to due to time constraints. But I just wanted to post this blog to all of my friends here . And to a select few that have gone that extra hundred miles to help me in my endeavor to make it in the comics biz! Thank You! I have really been working hard on my pencils inks and most of all coloring. And I have recieved som much positive and negative feedback that it is helping me along with amazing speed. Even when the feedback I get is negative it pushes me to try and improve my work beyond what the negative is I learn from it! I have to say there are three people that I must express my deepest thanks to! They have helped me and pushed me further in the direction of comics than anyone else! Jason Craig the artist for Jason VS Freddy Vs Ash by Wildstorm & Dynamite Entertainment. Jimmy Palimoiti The writer /artist/Editor all round super guy. And last but not least Nathan Thomas Millner the creator of The Malevolent an indy book. These guys have really helped me alot. But then again so have all of you here and you know who you are. I just hope that I have been as good a friend to you all as you all have been to me!Anyway That is all I really had to say. I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2008 to come.
