Finding the right CD player for yourself or for your child is not always as easy as you might think. If you are looking for a compact unit with good sound quality then you should look no further than the Duronic RCD025P Portable CD Player. This neat little player is small enough to be carried around so you can listen to your music anywhere. It is not designed to be played too loudly, however it is easily loud enough for most purposes. It takes standard CDs as well as CD-RWs (although not recordings in MP3 format) and you can plug in your MP3 player, Iphone or Ipod into this player, although the cable to connect them is not included.

Also included is an AM/FM radio so you can take your favourite radio station around with you as well. The telescopic antenna improves radio reception.

The Duronic CD Player comes in a range of colours according to your preference including pink, white, black and red and has an attractively simple slim design. It can be stood upright while in use, or indeed laid flat - either way it works just as well. It is simple to use and well made which makes it suitable for children, although is actually suitable for anyone who wants a small portable audio system. The LCD display helps you to keep up with what track you are on. The skip and search feature allows you to quickly find the specific track that you want.

When you are wanting to use it as a portable player it is powered by four "C" batteries, although you do also have the option of plugging it into the mains electricity.

The problem with many boomboxes designed for children is that although they are designed to be carried around, they are really just too big to be truly portable. This is certainly not the case with the Duronic Portable CD Player with its compact design means you really can listen to your music wherever you want to. Of course a major issue for CD players for kids is that they should be able to stand up to the daily use and abuse that children can cause to their belongings. The simple design of the Duronic means that it is sturdy enough to withstand being used by children.

Overall, the Duronic Portable CD Player is great choice for children and looks stylish in any child's bedroom.

And so it seems that the 2010 search for a UK sporting champion continues. After the England team's dismal showing in the FIFA World Cup all hopes were pinned on Andy Murray at least progressing to the final at Wimbledon. After reaching the semi-finals with dropping just one set, he sadly went out to Nadal. At least he played well and kept our hopes alive. That is two years running that he has reached the semis, so there is hope yet. Maybe if Jenson Button or Lewis Hamilton can win Formula 1 again that might be some consolation.
