Justice is sold!

2011-11-03T16:04:00.000-07:00

Within days of Nathan's birth, I sold one of my horses. S.Upreme Justice found a nice home with a woman who will be using him as a hunter. She's enjoying him and I'm really happy that he has someone to love him every day now!

At home

We're on our way home!! Yea!!

The Hospital

2011-11-03T15:55:00.000-07:00

I was in the hospital for 5 days.... We had visits from Grandma, Mimi and Poppi, Colleen and Camille, and "uncle" Steve.

Time with Daddy

Looking at Daddy... Forever Lady Antebellum "Lady A" will be immortalized! Lol

Our first views of our little one!

2011-11-03T15:45:00.000-07:00

We welcomed Nathan Glenn Hodgson to our family on August 16, 2011. He weighed in at 8 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 1/9 inches long--a pound heavier than Bri and he arrived 9 days early! Thankfully, he was born by C section at 4:32 am. All went well overall. Our lives have changed forever! ; )

Cute pictures

I just liked these pictures.... We are so blessed to have this little girl in our lives!

The WELCOME party

2011-02-13T21:08:00.000-08:00

Well, they had a part of the Welcome party that involved the kids getting up and watching while a very scary local CHIEF danced and played drums really loudly. She had to say her name into a microphone in front of a really big crowd of people.... she did so well!! We were all quite impressed. I guess Hawaii just has that affect on people.... ( Ali, ALOHA!!! :)

Making Friends

2011-02-13T21:01:00.000-08:00

Brianna proved to be a very social toddler. I would tell her to go over to the kids and say HI and she would just wiggle her way into playing with them! She met a very nice family of three girls ages 5, 8, and 10 who just adored her.... She played with them like 3-4 times. It was quite cute to see how outgoing she was!

Hawaii at last.....

2011-02-13T20:53:00.000-08:00

Enjoying the surf and pool!

New addition!

2011-02-13T20:48:00.001-08:00

Well, we now have a new addition to our family..... Her name is Easter. ( It was Esther, a horrible name, so we had to amend it!) She's an adorable 6 month old german shepard. Our other canine family members are getting a little older, especially Irish. I feel a little scared here when Rob isn't home so wanted a dog that was somewhat intimidating in look. I think that she will be perfect! She's very sweet and so far has been really a good girl. We took her on a walk and she was an angel, practically heeled on her own! So cool. But, she is a puppy... likes to chew. I hope we don't lose anything valuable in this puppy process. Anyways, just wanted to introduce her to everyone!

Christmas Eve 2010

2010-12-24T22:57:00.000-08:00

Christmas Eve we went to church, then we were off to Ann Wanger's for a wonderful dinner.... Bri was decked out in her Christmas outfit and looking pretty darn cute, but I'm not at all biased! Santa's on his way (we hope).... she's been a really good girl!

Christmas ribbon!

2010-12-24T22:55:00.000-08:00

Bri and Goat were helping me wrap presents this past week. Well, "helping" me is maybe stretching the truth! ; ) But, they were certainly having fun!

Firehouse Christmas

2010-12-24T22:45:00.000-08:00

On Wednesday, we went to station 20 for a wonderful Christmas feast. There were lots of kids and presents and fun was had by all!! Bri was having a blast as is apparent in these pictures.....

Decking the Halls

2010-12-03T21:49:00.000-08:00

So this was the first Christmas tree that Bri helped decorate.... she was quite excited at first but lost interest after about 8 ornaments. Thankfully, this is our $35 target tree so it didn't take very long for me to finish decorating! ; )

Susanville trip

2010-12-03T21:45:00.000-08:00

Last weekend, we went to Susanville to celebrate a very low key Thanksgiving with Rob's parents and grandma. Bri had tons of fun seeing everyone and playing in the snow.

Cookie making

2010-12-03T21:43:00.001-08:00

Bri had fun helping me make some sugar cookies.... She liked putting the sprinkles on but didn't like eating them. Can you believe this; Bri hates chocolate!! Funny, huh?

The Library

2010-11-18T23:31:00.000-08:00

Storytime at the library -- her first visit to a library!

Last day

2010-11-18T23:30:00.000-08:00

Just lounging around...... and eating of course!

Gymnastics

2010-11-18T23:25:00.000-08:00

Bri impressed me by joining in with Jack in his class and doing most of the things well! Well, 2 year old style... but she tried. She actually walked on the beam by herself, jumped on it, walked backwards AND sideways. I was totally amazed. The bottom line was, she had a great time in the class!

A visit with Joan

2010-11-18T23:23:00.000-08:00

Joan was able to come over to visit while we were there. We shared a nice lunch locally. It was great to catch up!

Sisters

2010-11-18T23:21:00.000-08:00

Our date night out..... shopping and a horse movie. Scott and Rob -- you are SOOOOO glad that you weren't there!

Acting Silly

2010-11-18T23:19:00.000-08:00

I think that Bri loves her cousins!

Swimming

2010-11-18T23:14:00.000-08:00

day 3; the pool! Bri showed off her new swimming skills... she was a bit nervous at first, then didn't want to get out or stop even though she was shivering! I think that she was quite proud of herself.

PARTY!!!!!

2010-11-18T23:07:00.000-08:00

day 2; Birthday Party at gymboree! How fun is this? We've not even been here 24 hours and we're crashing a birthday party! Notice the Bri was the last one eating! That girl never misses a meal, especially a free one! ;)
