<p>Many fitness pros just plain don&#8217;t believe that you can burn fat while building muscle at the same time. Every time I read an article by some doctor or expert claiming it&#8217;s &#8220;biologically impossible&#8221; to gain muscle on a hypocaloric diet (a diet low in calories) I just laugh.   I do more than make claims &#8211; I have proved this to be true many times. I&#8217;ve had my body fat hydrostatically measured during several peaks. In all but one I showed an increase of muscle mass and a decrease of body fat during a 12-16 week period. The one time I didn&#8217;t show an increase in muscle mass when was I was training the most in the gym. That may not make sense right now, but it will in a moment.</p>

<p><strong>What Are Ultrasonic Subliminals?</strong><br />
Ultrasonic subliminals are vocalizations or other sounds that have been made with such as high pitch that they block off vibrations in the eardrum. Instead, they tend to shudder some portions of the inner ear. Because of this mechanism, the conscious audible range is incapable of detecting the sound. The subconscious, on the other hand, perceives the stimulus, deciphers it and then understands the message.</p>
<p>Unlike masked subliminals that are normally covered or masked with other sounds (i.e. sound of water), ultrasonic subliminals may be recorded without the masking sounds. As a result, the recording gives the impression of a blank CD. Although a visualizer typically reveals the existence of the high-pitched sounds.</p>
<p>Without a doubt, ultrasonic subliminals have a number of advantages over the masked variety; and vice-versa. However, the majority of commercially sold subliminals are in the masked format, since layout is easier to make and has an extensive history of success. The ultrasonic type are more difficult to create, yet are generally more effective for the reason that the subliminal message is considerably louder.</p>
<p><strong>How Do Ultrasonic Subliminals Work?</strong><br />
In essence, ultrasonic subliminals function the same way as hypnosis, but without alteration of the awareness. The recordings usually require repetitive usage over a number of days, weeks, or even months to achieve full effect. Sorry to say, but anyone who is marketing &#8220;instant results&#8221; with ultrasonic subliminals is selling falsehood.</p>
<p>Although they can generate positive outcome after one exposure, this likelihood is very rare and typically occurs when the goal is strongly desired within a short span of time.</p>
<p>More often than not, ultrasonic subliminals require three to four weeks of exposure before they begin to show results. You need to at least expose yourself to the recording for one hour each day. Then again, for a better outcome, you can play it all night long. Some people who are willing to to the extra mile may even get the desired effect in less than one week or as quick as three nights of exposure.</p>
<p><strong>The Structure of a Good Subliminal Message</strong><br />
The subconscious aspect of the mind is extremely childlike. It soaks up everything &#8212; literally. Therefore, the sentences used in subliminal messages need to be brief, simple and straightforward. They need to steer clear of negative statements, since the words &#8220;not&#8221; and &#8220;don&#8217;t&#8221; are generally not recognized by the subconscious. For instance, the phrase &#8220;I am healthy because I don&#8217;t smoke&#8221; may be perceived as &#8220;I am healthy because I smoke&#8221;.</p>
<p>In addition to using positive statements, the subliminal messages also need to be in the present tense. The subconscious mind only recognizes the present. For this reason, the script &#8212; in order to be considered a good one &#8212; should avoid using future tense.</p>
<p>The focus of the messages in ultrasonic subliminals should be in the &#8220;here and now&#8221; and not in the &#8220;yet to come&#8221;. For example, the phrase &#8220;I will be successful&#8221; is not a good affirmation because it actually gives the subconscious an idea that you are not doing well right now. It somehow suspends the belief into a future that never takes place.</p>

Map out your intended route. That way you can concentrate on the fun and not the where to next. Also, leave a copy of your itinerary with a close friend or relative. In case of an emergency, you&#8217;ll be easier to find.</p>

Not really – but you can certainly screw with it’s “mind.” Let’s say, just for example, you are not consistent with your diet. You have been in and out of weight loss programs and, over the years; you gain and lose weight.</p>
<p>This can seriously screw up your metabolic rhythm. But it doesn’t destroy it – if your metabolism was truly murdered, you would be, too. Metabolism is merely the process by which your body converts food into energy. If it were to stop doing that, you would be dead.<br />
<span id="more-131"></span><br />
You metabolism is really a collection of processes – chemical reactions – that occur throughout your body and is affected by hormones, such as insulin, the quality of food you eat and your muscle mass.</p>
<p>Let’s take a look at each of these separately.</p>
<p><strong>Hormones</strong><br />
There are several hormones that affect metabolism. Thyroxine, produced by the thyroid gland in the neck, plays a key role in how fast or slow your metabolism functions. That’s why people with low thyroid hormones have difficulty with weight gain – their metabolism has slowed down.</p>
<p>Insulin, produced by the pancreas in the abdomen, regulates glucose in the blood. Glucose is a form of sugar that the body uses for fuel. All food has to be broken down into glucose for the body to use it. What you eat determines how much insulin needs to be secreted by the pancreas – too much sugar in the blood, insulin levels need to be high. People with diabetes don’t produce insulin in appropriate amounts, causing their blood sugar to go haywire.</p>
<p><strong>Food Quality</strong><br />
Sugary foods and low-glycemic carbohydrates are converted into glucose much more swiftly than other types of food. If your body receives too much glucose – regardless of how it got it – it converts it into fat for storage and use later. This is why you should avoid eating too many sugary snacks and low-glycemic carbohydrates (like white bread).</p>
<p><strong>Muscle Mass</strong><br />
The more muscle mass you have, the higher your metabolic rate can be. This is because muscles require a lot of energy to function. This is why weight training is often recommended for weight loss.</p>
<p>So, now that you know a little bit more about what affects your metabolism, you can make more educated choices in what you eat and how you exercise.</p>
