His project was to place lending library boxes near his church where people, especially youth can take a book and leave one in exchange. We were proud to assist Corey by donating a few boxes of books for his project. Way to go, Corey

The latest addition to The Horse's Mouth. Stop by and say hi to our new front bench. Yes, it is a real church pew. This one has quite a history. It was installed in Wince Chapel United Methodist Church when it was completed in roughly 1907. I received this one for buying a new pew a few years ago and dedicating it to the memory of my mother. You can even look underneath and see if there is any well-aged chewing gum, although if you do, It won't be any older than about fifty years. You see, this ten year old boy was caught sticking his gum under the seat. He got to spend the next few free Saturdays on his back with a scraper, removing every piece of gum from every pew in the church. Never ever did that again, nowhere. We thought it would be a great place to sit and comtemplate while finishing off a sno-cone or one of our new hand-packed milk shakes.

It's a dumb little thing but I found the wiring problem in our LGB train at the bookstore and phase one is now running on the original oval track. Now to extend across the back of store. Track is bought, and I have platform material and supports.
