The great George Barris recently past away. He was a true original known throughout the world as the 'original' King of Kustomizers. His creations are legendary in the world of television and motion pictures including the likes of the original television series Batmobile, Munster Koach, Beverly Hillbillies, KITT from Nightrider and more! 1935 Ford Wire Wheels - Five (5)

Here are 5 nice red 1935 Ford wire wheels for sale including hub caps and adapters for $400. The wheels are in good shape and look ready to bolt on your original Ford or traditional hot rod. Perfect for the period look. The hub caps have blue paint in the V8 and the circle. The hubcaps have some dents, not perfect, not terrible - one of them has a bigger dent and it's pictured. Wheels are 5" x 5.5" bolt pattern - they will fit later Ford drums with adapters.

Also included are the adapters and supports. (Last picture). The thin wheel support will allow 1928-35 early Ford style wire wheels on 42-46 Ford 5 x 5.5" drums. The thick adapters allow mounting the 1935 Ford Wires to a Ford 9-inch with Drum brakes and the 5 x 5.5" pattern. The thick adapters cost $80 each and the thin ones cost $20 each new. Phenolic spacers for Strombergs

Made from layers of canvas impregnated with synthetic resin binder, the benefits of phenolic sheet for carburetor spacers are well documented. Reducing heat transfer from the intake manifold to the carburetor, they can promote a cooler, denser fuel mixture for more horsepower. Manufactured in the USA exclusively for Stromberg, the new 1/4in spacers are cut from Natural Canvas Grade C Phenolic sheet with the classic brown color. The full kit (part number 39447K) includes two gaskets – used above and below the spacer – and work with 97s and other 3-bolt, 2-barrel carburetors like the Holley and Edelbrock 94s.

Carb spacers need extra long intake studs, check out the extended manifold stud kit (Part number 89067-E) – three 1/4in longer studs with stainless steel nuts and lock washers.

Have to love the new LIMITED EDITION Black & Chrome Genuine Stromberg 97!

Here are the highlights:

- Castings painted with black lacquer before assembly. Chromed brass plugs, screws and S-jet, and polished stainless steel linkage and springs.

- An early style cast iron base with stock size - not second-best oversize - throttle shaft. Parkerized and black lacquered just like they used to be.
