Natalie Portman was born on June 9, 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel. She was moved around to a number of places including Washington, D.C., Connecticut and New York.

At the age of 10, Natalie was asked to become a child model for Revlon. She turned down the offer which, theoretically gave birth to Natalie Portman as an actress.

Over the years, she has developed such a strong relationship with her mother that she is also her agent. You can always see Natalie and her parents together attending her premieres.

Not only is Natalie a hottie, she has some brains to go with her looks. She graduated from Harvard College (the undergraduate section of Harvard University) in June 2003 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Her career started in the mid-1990's with a role in Leon: The Professional (1994). Since then, she has starred in various films such as Heat, Everyone Says I Love You, and even a Star Wars Prequel trilogy.

If you have seen Star Wars Episodes I, II, or III, then you can recall a certain character by the name of Padme Amidala. She is definitely the hottest woman in the Galactic Republic.

Portman has starred in over twenty films throughout her career. She has been the recipient of many awards including a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in Closer.

Her role as Evey Hammond in V for Vendetta was pivotal to the film's success. She even had her head shaved for a certain scene in the film where her character was being tortured. Talk about getting into the role.

As of 2006, she has working on different projects including a remake of the 2004 Danish film Brothers.

We all remember her as the sexy devil in Bedazzled. At the age of 43, this former actress is still as hot as she was in the film. Formerly known to the media as “Hugh Grant’s girlfriend,” Elizabeth is now married to Arun Nayer.

As a teen, Elizabeth aspired to be a dancer. She took ballet classes and even studied dance and theater in London. During her teen years, she became very involved in punk fashion. Can you imagine her with pink hair?

Elizabeth’s first big break as a model came in 1995. She was introduced to the world as an Estée Lauder model. Since then, she has become part of the company's image as a result of being featured in various ads for Lauder’s Pleasures, Beautiful, Dazzling, and Sensuous fragrances. Although she has retired from acting, she is still employed by Estée Lauder.

Her first film appearance was in 1987’s Aria. The film is broken down into ten segments. The segments are musical accompaniments to arias and operas. Elizabeth appears in the film’s fifth segment sub-titled “Die Tote Stadt,” which means The Dead City in German. The scene takes place in the "dead" city of Bruges, Belgium. The rest of the film consisted of scenes put together by several directors.

In addition to starring in Bedazzled, Hurley has gained substantial recognition because of her roles in the Austin Powers films. She starred in both Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Elizabeth gave birth to a baby boy in 2002. She currently resides in England with her son and husband.

Petra Nemcova: Survivor

Petra Nemcova was born on June 24, 1979 in Karvina, Czechoslovakia. She was born into a communist society. Here’s a little history lesson for the readers. Czechoslovakia was peacefully into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on January 1,1993.

Petra has modeled for Sports Illustrated, Victoria’s Secret, and FHM, among many other companies. This Czechoslovakian goddess was discovered at the age of 16 during a talent search. The rest is history.

During her time as a supermodel, Petra has been featured on the cover of the 2003 Sports illustrated Swimsuit Issue as well as appearing in the 2001-2006 editions.

Her lifetime has brought a substantial amount of strife. She recently lost her fiancé to a tsunami in 2004. She was also injured during the disaster. Many of you may recall the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake that created one of the worst tsunamis Thailand has ever seen.

Although the tsunami struck on December 26, 2004, her then-fiancé, Simon Atlee’s body was not found until March of 2005. Petra suffered a broken pelvis. She managed to survive by holding on to a palm tree for eight hours.

The tragedy gave birth to the Happy Hearts Fund. Nemcova is the founder and president of the Happy Hearts Fund which is a charitable organization formed to advocate and provide for disadvantaged youth.

The fund aims to help children who have had to endure hardship and who are not receiving basic necessities for healthy development.

Since the tragedy, Petra has reportedly moved on socially and emotionally. She briefly dated British singer James Blunt in 2006.

A little known fact about Petra is she is a vegan. She decided to give up meat and dairy in 2007. An even lesser known fact, her father was a freemason.

Tiffani Amber Thiessen – A Childhood Dream

Tiffani Thiessen, a Califonia native has been around for a while. Better known for her role as sweet Kelly Kapowski in Saved by the Bell and then as sluty Valerie Malone in Beverly Hills, 90210.

As a matter of fact people outside the US think her real name is Kelly Kopowsky, yeah you know, the girl from Saved by the Bell. It is sad to say that she hasn’t been able to leave that character behind. I think that’s one of the main reasons why her career is so dull. This happens to a lot of teen stars, just look at the rest of the cast from Save by the Bell. The only ones doing ok are Mark Paul Gosselaar and Mario Lopez who I really think is a joke, the rest of the cast has disappeared.

Angelina is Back on the Big Screen

After giving birth to twins this past summer, Jolie is ready to hit the big screen once again. Her role as Catwoman in a future Batman film has already been confirmed. Her next film, Change

ling, has been receiving positive reception from the media. The film was screen in various festivals including the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

The positive reception may also be thanks to the fact that Clint Eastwood directed the film and of course, it is Angelina Jolie. I mean seriously, no one remembers the Tomb Raider plot, however, everyone can recall the sexy outfit she was wearing throughout the film. After all, nothing is hotter than a chick with a gun, let alone two.

Let's get back to Changeling.

The film is set in late 1920s Los Angeles and is based upon a real-life incident related to the Wineville Chicken Murders. The Wineville case was an infamous kidnapping and murder case that spanned 1928–1930 and received nationwide attention in the United States.

Jolie plays a single mother who comes home from work one day to find that her nine-year-old son has gone missing.

Changeling is set to be released nationwide on October 31, 2008 and in select theaters on October 24, 2008.

Wow, this is a drastic before and after. I really don’t know what to say, but just wonder about what happened to Britney Spears.

I remember her first video back in 1998 “baby One More Time” at age 16 in a school girl uniform… nothing but eye candy.

After 2 more years of being cute she decided to show her fans that she had become a woman.... well she had, Spears was now sexy, had a beautiful face, firm body and lots of talent. She had become the fantasy of choice for many males age range 12-50 as well as a many curious females.

At this point Britney is on the top. She had exchanged body fluids with Madona, was one of the main attractions at the VMA’s and was making crazy money out of her albums, not to mention perfumes and whatever else she was selling under her name. Short after Spears dumps Justin Timberlake and Fred Durst… they both cried a river.

So she’s doing pretty good and gets married to Kevin Federline, gets pregnant once, then twice, and gets fat. One day Britney decides to become BFF with Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton and decides to stop wearing panties. Then rehab kicks in and clippers come into the picture… the result? Well the once sweet and cute Britney Spears from the Mickey Mouse Club had become a crazy bald woman.

There was also a come back at some point but I don’t even want to remember her gut all over the stage.

It is 2008, I’ve heard she’s working on her 6th album and did pretty good at the Last VMA’s this September, Spears won Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video Of The Year for "Piece of Me".

Well, 2009 is around the corner, let’s see what happens to now.

Blu Cantrell Set To Do Playboy Spread

Blu Cantrell has made up her mind and is set to appear on the cover of Playboy. After losing 25 pounds, while training for the new reality series, Celebrity Circus, Cantrell has agreed to pose for Playboy which she had been offered, but turned down in the past. Her reason for turning it down in the past is that she did not want to be seen as a Sex Symbol and for her singing to take a back seat. I guess times have changed.

Blu only has one song that I can remember that became really popular, Hit Em Up Style.

Angelina Jolie Set To Play Catwoman

The 33-year-old actress – who gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne earlier this month – is said to be in final negotiations with studio bosses to play the feline villain who first appeared in the Batman comics.

It is not clear whether she would play the role in the current Batman film series, starring
Christian Bale as the caped crusader, or in a spin-off film as Halle Berry did in 2004's Catwoman.

Actress Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the Batman TV series from 1966 to 1967, has given her blessing for Jolie to play the part.

"Angelina would own the part," Newmar, now 74, said.

"My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love.

"She is tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess."

Other actresses to take on the role of Catwoman include Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992 movie Batman Returns, and Eartha Kitt who took over from Newmar in the TV series.

Jolie was recently tipped to be starring in The Thomas Crown Affair 2 alongside Pierce Brosnan and has reportedly been ordered by studio bosses to put on weight for the role.

What's The Worst Song Cover Of All Time?

Total Guitar magazine recently named Celine Dion and Anastacia's rendition of AC/CD's "You Shook Me All Night Long" (from 2002's Divas Las Vegas concert on VH1) as the worst song cover of all time. (Thanks to Popeater for the heads up.) As a rabid Anastacia fan who still can't understand the American songbird's lack of success in her home country -- the uninitiated should go directly to "Paid My Dues" without passing 'Go' or collecting $200 -- I had no choice but to write a blog item in her defense.

My pick for the world's worst cover would have to be Jessica Simpson's "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" (embedded after the jump). Bad enough that the Newlyweds star commits attempted sexy against Nancy Sinatra's 1966 classic using a wheeze/speak that's about as erotic as an asthma attack, but she also treats the song's saucy lyrics with all the care of a dock worker gutting a freshly caught tuna. Thus, genius turns of phrase such as "You keep lying, when you oughta be truthin'" and "I just found me a brand new box of matches" get replaced with bland references to Simpson's role in the related big-screen remake of TV's Dukes of Hazzard. Add an unfortunate "rap" interlude, the sullying of legend Willie Nelson's good name, and a video that pairs one of my favorite old-school female-empowerment anthems with footage of Simpson writhing suggestively against a suds-soaked motor vehicle, and, well, clearly I've done my duty of expunging the offending title from Anastacia's record.

Then again, perhaps you all have your own nominees for the all-time worst cover. List your choice in the comments section below, and because I like to be a little evil (especially on Mondays), I must insist that you limit yourself to one song, and one song only. Ready, set, reveal!

Alexa Vega stars in REPO

Ever since I got to talk with filmmaker Darren Lynn Bousman, his next project Repo! The Genetic Opera has been pretty high on my list of anticipated movies. Over the 4th of July weekend, it looks like the Repo! website got a bit of an overhaul, and brought even more to be excited about. First up, they’ve added a new production video looking at the song “Seventeen” which is a crucial turning point for Shilo Wallace, played by former Spy Kid Alexa Vega. This is definitely a different role for the girl, and “Seventeen” pretty well encompasses everything that is different about it. For the musical number they brought in a live punk band (the only song they recorded a live band for) and adapted the set to transform Shilo’s bedroom into a punk rock concert stage. The result looks pretty damn cool.

The site has also added a production blog, although it doesn’t have anything on it right now other than a video introduction by Alexa Vega who greets readers and then goes off to eat an ice cream sandwich. She may be a punk rock teen, but even they’ve gotta eat some ice cream, right?

Apparently Lionsgate has finally given Repo! The Genetic Opera an official release date - November 7th. While it’s good to hear we might see Repo! in theatres this year, putting it up against James Bond’s Quantum of Solace isn’t exactly a position of comfort.

Amy Winehouse Rattled by Alicia Keys Bond Theme Rumors

Amy Winehouse is said to be furious that she has lost out on the chance to record the theme tune for new James Bond flick Quantum of Solace.

The troubled 'Rehab' hitmaker recently came to blows with her producer pal Mark Ronson after he said Amy was "not ready to record any music" and that he had been "forced to stop work" with Winehouse on the project, explaining, "We did work on it but we never finished it so that's about it."

And now, according to a source close to the Grammy Award winner, Amy is feeling "hurt" and "angry" after hearing rumors Alicia Keys has stepped in to sing the coveted theme song.

The source says, "I don't think Amy ever considered that she wouldn't be doing the song, even though she walked out.

"Now she's heard Alicia is being lined up to replace her she's feeling hurt and angry. This is the last thing she needs right now."

Quantum of Solace, starring Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Gemma Arterton, is due to hit theaters at the end of the year.

Alicia Keys Wows Montreux With Mix of Old and New

MONTREUX, Switzerland, July 18 (Reuters Life!) - R&B singer Alicia Keys returned to the Montreux Jazz festival, giving a high-energy 90-minute concert mixing early hits with recent tracks from her chart-topping "As I Am" album.

"One of my all time favourite things is coming to the Montreux Jazz Festival. There is something different in the air here," the Grammy Award-winning American singer and pianist told the crowd on Thursday night.

"There is so much incredible talent here," she added.

The New Yorker made her debut at the prestigious Swiss festival on the shores of Lake Geneva in 2004. Two years ago she went through a troubled period that nearly derailed her life and career, but came back to win a Grammy as best female R&B performer for "No One" from her new album in February.

Quincy Jones, the Grammy Award-winning producer and composer celebrating his 75th birthday in Montreux, made a surprise appearance to introduce the "sweet little talented girl" whom he met early on with her mother.

"One of the privileges of being a producer is you get to see people before everybody else see them. She not only has the nerve to be talented, beautiful and smart but she has a good heart," he said, referring to her humanitarian work in Africa.

"This baby sister is going to knock you on your booty," Jones told fans who paid 105 Swiss francs ($103.1) to stand in sold-out Stravinski Auditorium.

Keys thanked Jones, whom she called "the Godfather of Montreux". The African-American, who co-produced the event from 1991-93, was feted at a marathon concert on Monday night which brought together stars including Herbie Hancock, Patti Austin, Mick Hucknall, Al Jarreau, Nana Mouskouri and Petula Clark.

Keys played crowd-pleasing tracks from "As I Am", including "No One" and "Teenage Love Affair". She dedicated "Superwoman" to "women and sisters who feel the weight of the world".

She also performed hits from her Grammy winning 2001 inaugural release, "Songs in A Minor", including "How Come You Don't Call Me", "Fallin'" and "A Woman's Worth".

Dressed in a white tunic and black trousers, she laid down on her stomach on the piano, leaning over the keyboard to kick off "Secrets" from the 2003 album "The Diary of Alicia Keys".

Jermaine Paul opened and then joined her as back-up vocalist.

Kriminal Kardashian Out of the Klink!

For those of you who had 173 minutes time served in the office pool -- drinks are on you!

According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department website, Khloe Khardashian is now on the loose again, free as a bird to party it up at Hyde and dine at Wendy's.

How's that compare to her fellow celeb inmates? Nicole did 82 minutes, Lindsay did 84. Khloe did roughly 100 more minutes. That's a hardened criminal!

A Sheriff's spokesperson tells us she was released because female inmates are eligible for early release due to overcrowding. We're told there's only one female jail and it's "busting at the seams."

UPDATE: Khloe's uber-attorney Shawn Chapman Holley has just issued the following statement: "Khloe was prepared to serve her entire sentence if that is what the Sheriff's Department had ordered. Having said that, she is, of course, happy to have been released and she is looking forward to fulfilling all the conditions of her probation."

Britney Spears Calls off Custody Fight

Britney Spears has called a halt to her fight to regain shared custody of her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, from ex- husband Kevin Federline, according to OK! magazine.

Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told the celebrity magazine that the ex-couple signed a settlement agreement Thursday, avoiding a trial over the issues in dispute.

Federline will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James, while Spears will continue to have visitation rights, which may increase over time, according to the magazine.

The agreement will be presented for consideration this morning to Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon, according to the magazine.

Spears remains under the legal conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears. She lost custody of her sons to Kevin last October. Her visitation privileges were curtailed after her January hospitalization for psychiatric evaluation.

Spears currently has monitored visitation with her sons two days a week and one overnight.

A hearing in the conservatorship case is scheduled for July 31.
