So without further ado, here are another 23 Insanely Modded Game Consoles for you to marvel at.  And when we say “insane” we mean insanely-genius!

1.  PS3 George Foreman Grill

The PS3 George Foreman grill mod has to give a lot of props to the designer for his love of both Playstation and food!  It might be the perfect accessory to a man cave while entertaining company, eating some brats’ and playing some Madden or Call of Duty against your bros.

2.  Xbox 360 Car

So someone decided to not only mod an Xbox 360, but then they decided to mod a Suzuki with that modded 360.  What happens when you do that?  You get the Suzuki SX360! There’s actually a projector that displays the game on the retractable hood!  The controller in the steering wheel and console dash give the car and console and ultra-sleek, ultra-modern, ultra-gaming look and theme.

3.  Assassin’s Creed PS3 Mod

LEGO geeks are some of the most creative around…and they really love their legos!  To them, there’s nothing that couldn’t be, or shouldn’t be, made out of LEGOs.  That’s how this mod of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) comes half covered in a shell and half completely made out of those lovable, clickable and stack-able blocks.

7.  Halo 3 Xbox Mod with Figurines

The Master Chief looks great on top of an Xbox 360, doesn’t he?  Like he was born to be there?  Well, I guess he sort of was…  Forget the coolness of the figurines on top this console, look at the detail that these modders put into the rocks and land (not to mention the controllers!).  Just running your finger across that rugged landscape will put you in the right frame of mind for creating a real life energy sword!

This modder figured they would just bring the screen for their Xbox 360 along wherever they went…by inserting directly into the console itself.  Evidently, those old portable TVs that are either being junked or sitting in closets somewhere have some used to them after all.  These days you can take it’s LCD screen and place it directly in your gaming system.

9.  Functioning RC Camaro Xbox 360

Wow…I may have just died and gone to heaven!  This is a fully functioning RC Chevy Camaro modded into an Xbox 360, and it’s a really nice looking RC car to boot!  You no longer have to buy one of those bulky console carrying cases, ladies and gents.  You can just drive your Xbox to wherever you might be going to play.

10.  Far Cry 2 PS3

Reminiscent of the Assassin’s Creed mod, this Far Cry 2 PS3 is also reminiscent of death!  The machete, magazine and spent rounds add a certain blunt violence…but look a little closer.  The ant on top of the piece of skull in the lower right corner hint to something much more macabre and sinister.  Perfect Far Cry homage.

You don’t know the power of the dark side?  Well, you will in this retro Stars War Imperial fighter and the aging Nintendo 64 console.  May the force be with you as you battle Donkey Kong inside of this N64 console modded for and by true Star Wars enthusiasts.  Do you think George Lucas ever thought this would be happening today?

Is this the ultimate modder, tech, geek creation ever?  I don’t know but I know many modders, tech geeks or gamers that would absolutely fall in love with this one.  Project Unity gives us a mod that has 15 game consoles (with the ability to have 18!) into one tight package.  The kicker is that they were able to also produce one universal controller for playing all of them.

Although ASUS is a bit late to the smartphone game, it’s chairman Jonney Shih has announced that they will be releasing a smartphone in the US by sometime in 2014. It will more than likely be an Android powered device, and if it’s any better than the Padfone  Infinity, than it should also have some impressive hardware. The Padfone Infinity has a 13mp camera, a 5-inch 1080p display and a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor.

With stiff smartphone competition from their competitors such as Samsung and HTC, ASUS will have it’s hands full trying to release a product to top handsets such as the Galaxy S4. Only time will tell if their foray into the US market will be a hit, or a flop.

Google unveiled a new hardware device, called Chromecast, which attaches to your TV allowing you easily enjoy online entertainment on your TV. The best part is that it only costs $35! 1. IFTTT (FREE)

IFTTT is an innovative way to consume content, be alerted and keep every part of your online and social media presence completely up to date. For those that are familiar with creating rules in Microsoft Outlook, then the IFTTT “recipes” will be familiar. An example of one recipe would be “if I’m tagged on Facebook” then “send me an email”. Here’s our list of  some of the most amazingly useful Android apps that you’ll want on your device.  These are the apps that you’ll find you need more often than you don’t.  These apps may not have all the glitz and glamour of some other apps on Google Play, but when it’s crunch time; when you need to send a lighting fast text message,  get some quick info,  jot down some notes or just get some plain silence,  then these are your most useful Android apps!

1. Snaptext ($0.99)

 SnapText is a real convenient app to have if you do a lot of text follow-ups to unanswered calls. We’re in the habit of needing instant gratification. When we call someone and they don’t answer, the first thing we do is text them to see what’s up. With Snaptext you are able to create a list of your very own follow up texts that you usually send all the time anyway. “Where are you?”, “Are you alright?” and “I’m making dinner…don’t eat!” are now easily sent at the snap of a finger! The Nexus 5 will be a variant of the LG G2 with the main difference being Android 5.0. The G2 is expected to launch running Android 4.2.2. The Nexus 5 will be powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. Pair that with a 13MP camera and an impressive 5.2-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS LCD display, and the Nexus 5 is likely to be a game changer. Did I mention it also makes phone calls?

Needless to say the success of the LG Nexus 4 was mostly due to it’s pure Android experience. With the Nexus 5 set to make it’s appearance later this year, these specs are sure to make some Android users go nuts. We have yet to see what the phone will actually look like, but we can tell from the G2, that we are in for a treat.

Small, medium, or large? Smartphone that is. With the success of large smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note and Note 2, HTC feels they too can capitalize on the growing demand for both larger and smaller versions of their smartphones.

With Samsung releasing mini versions like the S3 Mini,  and phablets  like the Galaxy Note 2, it is clear to  HTC that size does matter. The New HTC One Max is a 6″ version of the HTC One. Not much is known about this device at this point, but it is rumored to have a 2.3GHZ Snapdragon processor with either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory.

I think it is safe to assume it will look similar to the HTC one. Another rumor says that HTC will add an HTC Mini to the family; giving us all the option to choose the size that’s right for you.

If rumors are true, then handset makers like HTC and Samsung may have their work cut out for them. Rumors have it, the new Sony handset known as “Honami” will sport an 800-series Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHZ. It is said to be paired with 2GB of ram, a 5″ Triluminous display for a full HD 1080p experience, NFC, LTE capability, and wait for it; a 20.7 MP ExmorRS sensor. You heard right. This is the same size sensor used in the new Galaxy Camera.

With 16GB of internal storage and expandable capabilities, this new phone may put it’s competitors on it’s toes. Who will win? Apparently the fight will break out later this year.
