Last week, I tried a Nintendo DS game called Personal Trainer: Cooking. Basically, it not much of a game at all, but rather a software that teaches you how to make many dishes step-by-step.

Oh, I have this game already. It's called a COOKBOOK!

In that same vein, they've also released the video game equivalent to the Public Library.

The Grey Cup yesterday was, in my mind, a dud. The game was not really that exciting, and the half-time show stunk in both official languages.

I think they should have brought in the Taylor Field dog show instead.

Ordering pizza from my PVR.

I can already look up the phone number for the pizza place on my cable service, so this is the logical next step.

I'm starting to like Bloomberg. If only I was rich, held stocks and regularly got up at 5:00am when I can actually watch it on TV.

I have lost at Lotto 6/49 before, but I found this latest loss to be particularly devestating.

My last number in numerical order: 22.

Their first number drawn in same order: 24.

I'm not going to be dumb and sue the lotto corporation, though.

If you watched any American football or baseball game in the past month, you definitely saw this several times during every telecast...

That ad is getting pulled after this Sunday because thousands of people told Toyota it is both annoying and insulting.

Insulting? All I see is a big zero pushing cars with a song from the Fixx in the background. Sure the zero is a fence-sitting number of colour, the vehicles being sold are Japanese, and the Fixx are only a moderate success, but neither of these should matter now.

Maybe I haven't seen them enough. Those ads haven't run in Canada. We get these instead.

I kinda wish I was in America, that place was nuts last night.

Congratulations, neighbour, for not just on making such an historic and groundbreaking night for the entire world, but for finishing the election in one night.

Just to mention, I have most if not all of the major English news channels and networks from Canada and the US. I was flipping between them through the evening, but the most coverage I watched was from CNN, mainly because Wolf Blitzer was the only one who can pull off a friggin' hologram in the studio.

Beam me up, Anderson.

CTV's just jealous.

Time to buy some penny whistles and ribbon candy...

Yeah, I did. I bought a Wii. Therefore I am back on the console gaming train, that sure enough started with the Nintendo Entertainment System. I haven't had a Nintendo gaming console (not handheld) since then. I should make up for lost time.

I bought Mario Kart Wii with the system, but the first game I played on it was Super Mario Bros. from the Virtual Console, which, also, was the first game I ever played on the old NES. Nearly 20 years later, and I'm still no good at it.

Maybe Bill O'Reilly can help...

What I noticed right away was that Tetris was not available on the Virtual Console. That is a glaring omission that must be addressed soon.

...HBO's coming to Canada!!!

Not that it matters, some of the programming was on same night and time on Movie Central and TSN was good for showing the boxing within a few days afterwards, but still!

Interesting thing, for some reason, HBO America was available at a Days Inn in Calgary, Alberta. I think it's the North Hills Home Depot now.
