John told me how his grandma had false teeth which were so brittle, she sat with them on her knee. Once they fell off and their dog ran off with them, hid under the welsh dresser and chewed them to bits!

The booklet is made up of a series of different postcards, each designed around a humorous true story from an elderly person. The styles for each postcard are inspired by handwritten letters, drawings and photos people would have send to one another before the invention of email and computers. The final outcome was to inspire people to send more personalised, meaningful messages to one another.

This is an old illustration I made in my 2nd year of Uni. It's inspired by a train journey I took and like all train journeys, seemed to last a long time. The seat infront was worn away and there were lots of families with small children trying to stop the boredom by colouring and laughing.

This is another inspired illustration from a story found in the amazing Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman. With possibly the best story title I've ever come across, the artwork is inspired by a diary entry found in the journal...

"Thursday the 31st There were blueberries growing wild by the side of the road. A red thread was caught in the bushes. I'm scared that I'm looking for something that does not exist anymore."

Nendaz Freeride 2010 competition

Entry into the Nendaz 2010 competition for an "awesome" design to fit posters, leaflets and web banners. The Nendaz Freeride is a ski and snowboard competition which occurs off-piste and is part of the Freeride World Qualifier Event.
