Hey y'all! It's time... ALL of the brand new & uber-fun My Time Made Easy May goodies are now in the store and ready to jump in to your cart!! Today I am showing off the Blue Collar template, except I made mine girlie!! The "shirt" paper is from the Color Infusion digi paper pack. I wanted something besides paper for the shirt cuff and found some awesome "fuzzy" ric-rak... Love the look!!!! As soon as I decided I wanted to do something girlie I immediately thought of either a pearl or rhinestone neckline! One of the decorative pieces that comes with the template is a "scoop" for a jersey, I used the shape to cut out a scoop neckline and added some Prism Iced Orange (looks like flesh color) for the "chest/skin". I was a little worried that if I used the pearls or rhinestones as a necklace it may not look quite right, so I used some pearls for the necline of the shirt...again, LOVE the look!! The "box" was adorable just like this, but it just needed a little more "something" so I added some wide white ribbon to the sides. I adhered it to the lid only and stuck it about half way down so it also covers part of the box bottom, tied a pretty bow and added another bow & button. Because I only adhered this to the top, you won't need to untie it to open it.
Not many things are more "girlie" than nail polish and EVERY girl needs some fresh new colors for spring! I grabbed some OPI at the local beauty store, and while I was at Target earlier, I found a travel size bottle of remover and some fun nail files and buffers. One of the things I like to do on gifts where it "fits" is to use a nice fluffy towel, etc. in place of tissue paper. I grabbed a very pretty chocolate and teal very fluffy wash cloth, could easily be used as a small towel... perfect size for doing your nails!
For my little note card/ gift tag for this I used the same paper pack, Color Infusion. This week's Mojo sketch was PERFECT for my little card! The sentiment is from the All A Flutter digi set, I used the digi and enlarged it some to fit my card size better. I added some Lettuce and Petal Pink Liquid Pearls to the sentiment and then did a little "piercing" on the curved corners. I LOVE the look of this little gift set!!
